The Schmarrnkaiser in the rustic Arminiusmarkthalle is a great Austrian restaurant. A bit small but quite comfortable. You can look into the open kitchen and see how everything is freshly prepared. We were completely satisfied. The portions are very generous and everything tasted wonderful. We'll be back.

Wir sind schon länger regelmäßig zum Essen beim Lechner. Waren immer begeistert. Gruß aus der Küche mit selbst gebackenem Brot, bayrisch/Österreichisch angehaucht, einfach immer gut, auch nach der Wiedereröffnung nach 10 Monaten Zwangspause nicht nachgelassen! Wir wünschen dem Chef weiter gute Genesung, bleibt wie ihr seid!

Handgeklopfte und zugleich sehr delikate Schnitzel sowie sehr freundliche und liebe Bewirtung! Bitte weiter so! Nachtrag: Leider bereits in den letzten Wochen dort gewesen und es war trotz angegebener Öffnungszeiten jedes Mal geschlossen. Das Essen war stets ein Gedicht, doch scheinen hier mittlerweile die Lichter komplett aus?:(

Very disappointed because it hasn't been possible to reserve a table and redeem our voucher for months. After today's request, I was snidely told that (as always) everything was fully booked, that nothing had been picked up locally for two years and that the voucher could only be redeemed in Roetgen. It's a shame because we had a very good meal there a few times and were treated kindly. Unfortunately there was no sign of that today and we lost the voucher... not a nice finish in Merkstein

Went in with a lot of expectations and was treated like dirt. We were laughed at when we entered the restaurant because of our clothing. The food was tasty, but the service was very, very bad.

Well, which of the residents who have moved here with their Bolerbü thinking has prevailed here again. Was it the Swabians again?? Or who was it? ....move from your province to a big city/capital, and then make sure that restaurants that have been around for many years before yours!!!! move into this residential area, have to close and the employees and operators are put out on the street. But then you might want to eat regularly in a street restaurant around the corner and, on top of that, prefer to sit outside. And they ensure that sections of the road are simply closed. INCREDIBLE WHAT THIS CITY HAS BECOME...MY BIRTH CITY!!! Finally move back to your province or out to the country!!! Or if you want to do something good for Berlin, this city that you want to transform, then work to keep it clean!!! THAT WOULD FINALLY BE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL FROM YOU!!! I wish you all the best for your future journey and future, dear ones from “Friedrich’s”.

We were there for the class reunion, firstly there was no lane available for us to go bowling even though we made reservations and secondly there wasn't even a table which had also been reserved 2 MONTHS in advance!!! With some effort it finally worked out, the service was terrible, no service; very unfriendly and cheeky (nice blonde woman with long hair… not…) Always sat on dry land. Food wasn't good either. 👎🏻 So all in all it sucks!!! Luckily our mood was at least great and we were happy to see everyone again…. We are NOT coming back!

Köstliches Essen, supernetter Service. Wir haben lange auf das Essen gewartet (Mittags), war aber für uns nicht schlimm. Wir saßen draußen, die Straße ist natürlich sehr präsent. Kommen immer gerne wieder!

Very good food (schnitzel), but unfortunately our experience was rather negative due to the very long waiting times and the very poor service. Credit card payment should be expected in a restaurant of this level. A visit here was definitely enough
