I made a reservation by phone two weeks in advance for a birthday and when we went there the restaurant was closed due to company holidays.

Even when Phoenix is ​​closed, hardly any men under 50 come here. Average age 68. 3 bartenders but busy with themselves and can't see that guests want to order. Tissues everywhere in the rooms, there is poor cleaning in between.

I've been there a few times now and I really like it. The starter plates are highly recommended. The waiting time for the food varies somewhat. This time I had the Orient Burger, which to me should have tasted even more like cinnamon.

The food is first class But the service is unfortunately bad The table was dirty. I cleaned it and no one came to clear it before it was taken out. More than half an hour of waiting. Someone walks to the takeaway order and I'm sitting in the hall waiting. There is only one person in the hall taking orders and bringing the food. My friend asked for an extra appetizer plate. I brought it all down to him and he went and told me he was going to rate the restaurant. He told me people come for the taste, not your rating.

A Must-Try! This restaurant never fails to impress with its amazing food. When I visited, it was quite busy, but the staff were incredibly nice and attentive, always keeping up with our service. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. My favorite dish is the half chicken, they even let you choose your side, either french-fries or rice. If you ever find yourself in Dortmund and craving something tasty, don’t miss out on this fantastic spot!

The restaurant is small, but it serves delicious pies, manakish, and pizza, which are hot and brought to you straight from the oven. There's a large tea thermos next to you, enough for the whole family. There are other foods, but we love the pies and pizza.
