I made a special reservation by phone two weeks in advance for a birthday, and when we got there, the restaurant was closed for the holidays.

Al Salam offers high-quality Arabic dishes that you won't find everywhere. The hummus (a classic that no Arabic restaurant should be without) was very tender compared to other restaurants. The fish was also excellent, the salad had a convincing sweet and sour composition, and the meat was tender. Everything was top-notch! The staff was extremely friendly and brilliantly knowledgeable. Any ambiguities were immediately clarified. It was a very pleasant evening on the beautiful terrace. Everything is taken care of. If you're cold, you get a blanket, etc. The concept of sharing several smaller portions is wonderful, as you can try everything. And the "small" portions were more than enough! The price is on the higher side, which is something you're happy to accept for such a lovely evening.

In my opinion, they serve delicious falafel and shawarma sandwiches at fair prices. The snack bar is centrally located, right next to the Severinstraße stop (lines 3, 4, and 17). The staff are friendly, and the selection is excellent. There are also customer restrooms.

I've bought sandwiches here several times. Very tasty. Never had any stomach problems.

Ordering via app is absolute rubbish, it's no fun at all reading through the individual dishes and having to carry the food yourself through the entire restaurant is also rather unpleasant. The food itself was only "okay" and I wouldn't come again.
