Das Essen war gut und es gab keine größeren Probleme. Allerdings war das Lokal sehr chaotisch und für Familien ungeeignet. Es war voller junger Leute, die ständig kamen und gingen, und sehr laut. Die Tische standen eng beieinander und waren unbequem, man konnte sich kaum bewegen. Noch schlimmer war der miserable Service. Ein Mitarbeiter machte ein riesiges Theater um einen zusätzlichen Stuhl und darum, an welchem ​​Tisch wir sitzen sollten. Er stand praktisch über uns, bis wir fertig waren und gegangen sind. Wir mussten dreimal den Tisch wechseln. Außerdem war das Restaurant selbst nicht sehr sauber. Ich würde es Familien nicht empfehlen; die Atmosphäre war schrecklich.

Eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt! Ein tolles, freundliches und professionelles Team. Man wird immer mit einem Lächeln empfangen und fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Auch der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und Toller Service, herzliche Atmosphäre und hervorragende Gastfreundschaft – absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte einen arabischen Falafel-Teller mit Salat, zwei Soßen und Pommes für 10 Euro – absolut lecker! Davon wären auch zwei Menschen satt geworden. Die Bedienung war freundlich..

Wir haben Manakish, Toshka und Falafel bestellt. Das Essen war köstlich, die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und unsere Bestellung kam schnell, obwohl wir noch weitere Wünsche hatten. Das Personal war sehr effizient! 💪👍 Ich kann es jedem Köln-Besucher wärmstens empfehlen. 👍

Das Essen war sehr enttäuschend, Service sehr schlecht, haben die Vorspeise erst erhalten nach dem ich fast mit dem Hauptgang fertig war.

Der Shawarma war wirklich ausgezeichnet zubereitet! Die Gewürze und die Knoblauch-Mayonnaise waren hervorragend kombiniert. Auch die Dame an der Theke war sehr herzlich und kundenorientiert. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Ich Schwöre bei gott sehr schlechter laden niemals zu empfehlen die soßen säuerlich ekelhaft und abgelaufen die baguetts werden mit reibekäse gefüllt damit das baguett mehr volumen hatt richtig ekelhaft vallah billah

Klein aber fein! Ich war sehr begeistert, von dem Essen, von dem Tee und wie mein Essen eingepackt wurde 😂 alles getrennt und noch mal frisches Gemüse und Sauce hinzubekommen.

Das Hähnchen ist trocken und schmeckt nur nach Gewürzen, nichts Besonderes.

Ich gehe jetzt schon seit mehreren Tagen in dieses Restaurant. Tolle Atmosphäre, gute Musik, faire Preise, hochwertige Produkte und super Kundenservice – es ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant! ☺️

Ich hatte knuspriges Hähnchen bestellt, aber es war nicht richtig durchgebraten und roch stark und unangenehm. Ich konnte es überhaupt nicht essen, obwohl es teurer war als in anderen Restaurants.

The worst restaurant ever! The order took an incredibly long time, and the tables were so close together you couldn't even move. Besides, the food was practically dripping with oil. After a long wait, the food was literally dripping with oil. I don't know where they got that rating from 👎🏻👎🏻. I should have shared the pictures so you wouldn't say the plates came back empty. I know very well that ghee comes from oil. When you fried the bread for the fatteh, did you forget to drain it properly? And you said you'd take a little longer... what happened was we waited a very long time! And we had children with us, and the weather was terrible. Who could sit outside? It should be like a courtyard outside, or at least inside there should be some space between the tables. Instead of learning from our mistakes to improve, we have to show off to prove ourselves right. Me and others simply stop going back, but sometimes honest feedback makes us correct and avoid some mistakes.

I don't know what to say about the place or the food. The place was cramped, but we thought maybe it's still new and will expand. We waited for over an hour for a plate of eggs and a few manakish. We thought it was okay if they were good, but what we got was a plate of oil with eggs (not eggs) and fatteh (also just oil). The manakish were dripping with oil. I don't even know what to say about the bathroom.

The köfte platter was superb. The köfte were delicious, and the side dishes and rice were very flavorful. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

They reduced the size of the manakish; it used to be bigger, and now it's smaller than the palm of your hand.

I ordered a sucuk baguette and a shawarma, but unfortunately both arrived cold. The sucuk baguette was slightly burnt, the bread was soggy, and I personally didn't like it. The meat in the shawarma was very dry, and the sauce was quite tasteless. Very disappointing.

We had manakish here and they were honestly some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The chef was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he kindly treated us to a cup of tea as a gesture of hospitality. A wonderful place with great food and warm service. Highly recommended!

Poor customer service. You're just laughed at and even blamed if you accidentally order meat as a vegetarian, even though the dish explicitly states it doesn't contain meat.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. After the meal, I asked about the restroom. Initially, I was told it was being cleaned. After waiting a while, I was told again that the cleaning wasn't finished. Only later was I informed that there wasn't a restroom at all. These conflicting statements were very irritating to me as a guest. Honesty and transparency are essential to good service, especially when traveling with children. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I was being taken seriously. It's a shame; they've lost me as a customer.

I was in Kalk yesterday for work, and the good reviews attracted me, which I can now fully confirm. If I lived nearby, my kitchen would often stay cold, and I'd soon weigh 100 kg. I had one of those Bazooka rolls XXL, 41 cm long. It was a taste experience of the highest quality, and given current doner prices, the €9 roll is very good value, and it's also much more sophisticated than any doner. I ate it twice and I'm still raving about it. If I'm in the area again, I'll be back.

Honestly, it's really bad and I'll never buy from them again. I ordered half a charcoal-grilled chicken, but they gave me a quarter of a chicken (a wing and a small piece of breast) and it cost 11 euros. The food was terrible and not cooked well.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my food, even though it was barely busy. The grill plate I ordered was more like a half-sized plate and bore little resemblance to the picture on the menu... One chicken wing, one small chicken drumstick, two burnt and dry mini pieces of lamb, five small pieces of chicken (also dry), and a skewer of minced meat that was more reminiscent of a large cevapi. I was expecting something along the lines of an Adana skewer, but unfortunately, that one was overcooked and dry... The service was very friendly, but they could have pointed out the wait or perhaps offered some bread to pass the time. In conclusion: If you come here, you should get the shawarma or the chicken plate instead; it looked much better with the other guests.

The most delicious falafel is Halloumi falafel, you will find it here... The best people, may God make you happy and provide for you.

We've been to Almahabba several times, and the food is always delicious. The shawarma, in particular, is superbly seasoned and fresh, and the manakish are always top-notch. You can tell a lot has improved—everything is even better now than it used to be. My only minor criticism: the outdoor seating is unfortunately in the blazing sun, and there's no parasol. Some shade would be really nice, especially in hot weather. Regardless, we always enjoy coming back!

From my perspective, it doesn't deserve even half a star because the service was disrespectful and the food was bad. This is from personal experience. We ordered dinner and found that the meal had a very bad smell. We then returned the meal to them and they didn't refund us despite contacting them more than once.

Absolutely outrageous! I ordered via Uber Eats and waited a full 1.5 hours for my food. When it finally arrived, it was a disaster: The tabbouleh tasted spoiled and completely inedible, as if it had been around for days. The chicken, potatoes, and roasted carrots were burnt and dry, and the rice was hard as rock and so salty it was inedible. Charging money for something like this is outrageous and, in my opinion, nothing short of customer fraud. This restaurant has no respect for its customers or the food it serves. I will never order from here again, and I highly recommend it to everyone! I will also report this incident to the relevant veterinary authorities and the food inspection authorities.

1- The food arrived 35 minutes late even though I was alone and the place was empty. 2- The prices outside are different than inside (more expensive, of course), but they didn't care. 3- No card payments 4- I've ordered and eaten here several times. The food quality is inconsistent. You have to be lucky to get it right. Otherwise, the meat is dry, there's not enough rice, and the occasional crunchy manakesh... I'll never be back

Good food, easy to reach restaurant

Best food I've had for my entire trip to cologne and also the cheapest. 11€ for a fairly large portion of fried chicken, thick potato chips, coleslaw adjacent goop, pickled vegetables, bread (it was kind of like a tortilla but thin and crispy), and mayonnaise. They also give you one slice of tomato and cucumber. Cashier doesn't speak english and they only take cash but they will let you to go an ATM and come back. Environment felt pleasant but it's probably because I went there at 1 am.

Extremely good chicken. They do not take a card, but they will happily point you to an ATM nearby. They don't speak English, but the guy who runs it seems nice.

Great taste and actually way too cheap! We had a lovely seat on the large square opposite the KÖLNARKADEN and enjoyed an excellent meal for very little money. We'd go back anytime!
