Hayati in Köln

Das Essen hat mir sehr geschmeckt und der Preis für 10 Euro ist echt unschlagbar. Man kriegt einen gut gefüllten Teller für seine 10 Euro.

Ich weiß nicht so recht, wie ich es zutreffend beschreiben soll. Als Kleinstädter wirken Orte wie das Hayati oft unübersichtlich. Die offensichtlich kundige Stammkundschaft und das gut eingespielte Team hinter der Theke, Abläufe, Speisen...da muss man sich einen Augenblick Zeit nehmen. Ergebnis: lecker 😋 preis- und empfehlenswert. Einfach mal ausprobieren 🤗 Wir gehen auf jeden Fall dort wieder hin.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis mitten auf der Severinstraße. Wir haben dort wunderbar gegessen und waren von der Qualität der Zutaten begeistert. Besonders der gegrillte Halloumi auf den Tellern war hervorragend und perfekt zubereitet. Die Kombination mit dem frischen Gemüse und dem Hummus ist einfach klasse. Alles war sehr appetitlich angerichtet und hat toll geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Es ist genau der richtige Ort für eine leckere Mahlzeit in entspannter Atmosphäre.

Das beste Shawarma der Stadt. Ich komme nicht nur gern her sondern auch oft ☺️ Service ist auch super.

Gott sei Dank gibt es sie, die die Deutschen nach 22 Uhr vor dem Verhungern retten. Die deutschen Köche haben beschlossen, alle gleichzeitig ins Bett zu gehen, während zum Glück einige mutige Menschen geöffnet bleiben und das Land mit Essen versorgen (und sogar Kreditkarten akzeptieren!!). DANKE ♡

Gute Shawarma im Brot, nicht im Wrap. Mitarbeiter waren jetzt nicht unfreundlich aber auch nicht super nett. Ambiente ist sehr schön, sauber und stilvoll.

Ich hatte bei meinem Besuch leider eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung in diesem Lokal. Ein Mitarbeiter hat uns offenbar missverstanden, da er nicht gut Deutsch sprach. Obwohl wir mehrfach ruhig und höflich versucht haben, uns zu erklären, reagierte er extrem aggressiv und warf uns schließlich die Falafel hin. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass dieses Verhalten nicht in Ordnung ist, wurden wir wortlos mit Handgesten aus dem Lokal verwiesen. Dass man Mitte 2026 so respektlos behandelt wird, habe ich in dieser Form noch niemals erlebt, da ich ein eher ruhiger Mensch bin. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass niemand aus dem Team eingegriffen oder versucht hat, die Situation zu klären. Insgesamt ein sehr unangenehmes Erlebnis, das ich so nicht erwartet hätte

So ein unverschämtes und respektloses Verhalten habe ich noch nie in meinem Leben erlebt. Es sollte doch möglich sein, sich zumindest neutral mit seiner Kundschaft und deren Bestellung auseinander zu setzen, wenn Höflichkeit schon zu viel verlangt ist. Stattdessen wurden wir extrem abwertend behandelt. Auf den gut gemeinten Hinweis, dass der Angestellte beim nächsten Mal doch gerne höflich sprechen könne, wurde das Geld über den Tresen zurück geschmissen und gefordert, den Laden nicht wieder aufzusuchen. - Keine Sorge, das werden wir nach dem hier Erlebten gewiss nicht wieder tun, denn abgesehen davon, haben die Falafeln auch nicht geschmeckt.

Sind aus Berlin& Hamburg übers Wochenende in Köln gewesen und sind vermutlich ein bisschen verwöhnt was das Angebot der Küche aus dem mittleren Osten betrifft… Aber das Hayati hat uns dermaßen überzeugt 👌🏾😋 Vielen Dank Wir werden nächstes mal wieder kommen!

Hab mir gerade eine PommBox geholt… da sind die Pommboxen von anderen Läden 2-3 mal so groß. In meiner Box waren paar Pommes und paar Stücke Fleisch und dafür 8€?! Schämt euch! Der andere Schawarma Laden an der Bahnhaltestelle Severinsstraße ist 10x besser!

I've always been satisfied before. But today I had two shararmas and they were just soggy. Skin and something unidentifiable.

A regular customer for over 6 years. The change to grilling the wraps at the end makes the falafel/halloumi sandwiches really great. The extra sauces, especially the baba ghanoush, are also well worth it :) The plated meals are also excellent in terms of price and size!

The food is pretty good served with a reasonable volume. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well. It’s nice to try out if you want to have some Lebanese cuisine in the south of Cologne.

I’ve never written a restaurant review before, but Hayati definitely deserves one. I had lunch there today and was really impressed - the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I ordered a mixed plate and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I counted over ten different vegetables on my plate, and everything tasted homemade - the hummus was smooth and rich, the grilled vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, carrots, cauliflower, peppers) had that perfect smoky flavor, and the tabbouleh was super fresh with lots of parsley and tomato. Even the small fermented green pepper on the side added a great touch. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about what they serve. Great value for the price, highly recommend!

We had the Petra plate and falafel with fries in bread. Both are highly recommended, and the staff are very friendly! Just remember to bring cash, as they don't accept card payments :) The price is truly unbeatable.

Came late at night since it was the only establishment that served food and the staff was very friendly. Pleasantly surprised by the very tasty shaorma. The meat can be cooked a bit more for my taste, but we had no issues the following day 😁

One of the best places in the area for years. Freshly prepared and truly delicious. What's especially noteworthy is that the prices are absolutely reasonable and not exorbitant. Service is okay and prompt. The ambiance is appropriate.

The Falluh is by far the best thing you can get from a Liebanese in Cologne. However, at a whopping €4 now, it is a luxury that I unfortunately treat myself to much less often. Hopefully the price will go down a bit in a few years when we have stable inflation of 3-4% again. *Edit Unfortunately, the Falluh became expensive again by 50 cents and now costs an impressive €4.50. Unfortunately, you haven't lost out as a loyal regular guest.

I ate my first shawarma there, the meat has an incredible taste. It is freshly marinated there and the skewer is inserted by hand. I found out about this from an employee. I paid €4 for it. I was speechless at how delicious it was. Last but not least, I was able to try a falafel. Super fluffy and crispy on the outside 👍 I will always go there when I'm in Cologne. Thank you for this delicious experience.

I got a shawama roll in the warm weather in summer and had diarrhea 2 hours later and all night long. No more my address since then, sorry. I write that to ensure (better) attention is paid to hygiene and food freshness, not to make people feel bad.

Ich bin absolut enttäuscht von Hayati. Meine Freunde und ich haben diesen Laden geliebt – es war unser Safe Place, unser Go-to für leckeres Shawarma zu fairen Preisen. Doch jetzt? Pure Abzocke! Der Preis für ein Shawarma wurde einfach von 3,50 € auf 4 € erhöht! Das mag nach wenig klingen, aber es geht ums Prinzip. Gerade in Zeiten, in denen alles teurer wird, hätte ich von Hayati erwartet, dass sie ihren treuen Kunden entgegenkommen – stattdessen kassieren sie einfach mehr ab. Das Essen mag noch schmecken, aber dieser plötzliche Preisanstieg hinterlässt einen bitteren Nachgeschmack. Sehr enttäuschend. Vielleicht sollten wir uns einen neuen Safe Place suchen. 👎

I am absolutely disappointed in Hayati. My friends and I loved this shop - it was our safe place, our go-to for delicious shawarma at fair prices. But now? Pure rip-off! The price of a shawarma was simply increased from €3.50 to €4! That may not sound like much, but it's a matter of principle. Especially in times when everything is becoming more expensive, I would have expected Hayati to accommodate their loyal customers - instead they simply collect more. The food may still be tasty, but this sudden price increase leaves a bitter aftertaste. Very disappointing. Maybe we should find a new safe place. 👎

Yesterday I hosted a party where there was also some food. One A friend recommended Hayati in the Südstadt to me. Guys, that's five stars!!!! Just wow! At first I thought it wasn't enough for my 15 guests. Mistake, it was perfect! Everyone wanted to know where I got this record from. I can happily and warmly recommend Hayati! Really great value for money.

I've never had a better falafel sandwich than there. There is a great selection there and you can see how your own food is prepared. The price-performance ratio is great.

This food was so good that I forgot to take pictures before we started eating! Super budget friendly! Everything was between $3-10! I would say they have too many options that were similar. They kind of ran together. Quick service. Spent less than 50 euros for a family of 4 with drinks and dessert. You won’t be dissatisfied

I found the restaurant by chance. Food was decent, restaurant area tables etc were clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was prepared quickly. I ordered an Ayran and a Shawarma plate and paid €13.00. Ayran costs 1.5€ and shawarma plate costs 10€.

Relaxed atmosphere and fast service. Unfortunately I'm totally disappointed with the shawarma meat and hummus. I expected more for an Arab.

I am a regular customer and think it is one of the best falafel in Cologne. However, the falafel stands or falls with whoever makes it there! If you're unlucky, the sauce in particular will be poorly distributed and half of the falafel sandwich will be dry. Especially now that the competition on Severinstr. As the restaurant gets bigger and bigger, the younger employees could put more love into putting together the sandwiches.

Everywhere is dirty. There is nowhere to sit because everywhere is dirty and everything is dirty. Unsanitary conditions, tongs are not washed after different types of vegetables, but are immediately taken to another type🫡

I can only rate what we had and unfortunately it didn't taste like anything. Fries and halloumi in bread with yogurt sauce. It's a total shame but there really wasn't a gram of salt or taste in the sauce and therefore in the whole dish :( otherwise it was very well attended (Saturday evening). The rest of the reviews speak for themselves, we chose the wrong dish.
