The foods were really good. In this price range they are serving such amazing offer. Unless the environment is so chaotic and you have to wait at least 15-20 minutes to get a place to sit.

The food was quite tasty, and the selection was really good for €16.50. Unfortunately, the hygiene wasn't great; plates were often dirty. The restaurant itself was cold, and we had to wear jackets.

I had planned a nice weekend with good food. The result: I spent the entire weekend on the toilet after visiting this place. The health department will be hearing from me; this establishment absolutely must be shut down. Take this as a warning; you'll thank me later. The level of unhygienic conditions there is unacceptable. On the way to the toilet, you walk through two kitchen areas with food lying all over the floor, and the toilets are filthy. LLP should be using this place for food preparation.

Great food and atmosphere. I like that you have to pay 9€ extra if you left food on your plate. The only thing I didn't like is that the toilets aren't clean. That's something worth improving. The tables are bit close to each other, making it difficult to move around freely. I also think it's a shame that you don't have an official website or online presence. It would make it easier to check out the variety of food and you could gain more customers. And if you offer specific dishes on specific days, it would be nice to know in advance. It's a great place for families, the price is fair and it's good that you explicitly don't offer alcoholic beverages. It's a bit difficult to find parking spots though.

There were four of us on a Thursday evening. We called ahead and were told that reservations weren't necessary or even possible. However, we had no trouble finding a table. Unfortunately, the tables were very close together and not particularly clean. The buffet selection was okay, with fresh shawarma, tender meat, delicious rice dishes, and interesting desserts. Drinks are only available directly from the refrigerators – self-service! You have to clear your own plates, so there's essentially no service. I'm giving it one star because I did receive information about one of the dishes when I asked. Unfortunately, nothing was labeled. Also bothersome, at least during the colder months, was the chill that permeated the entire room as soon as the entrance door opened. Note: Cash only! In conclusion: If you enjoy good food and Syrian cuisine, you should give it a try for €16 (drinks are €2.50). However, you shouldn't be too concerned about hygiene!

I was there with my wife and my son, who uses a wheelchair. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious, and all for only €15 per person (children up to 13 years old depending on age). I can only recommend it.

We were there on Monday at lunchtime and got a table very easily. There was a great selection of delicious food, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive! The value for money is really good, €16 per person for the buffet. Bring cash, as they only accept cash payments. Unfortunately, it was quite cold at a window seat in winter, so dress warmly.

Mandali is a wonderful Syrian all-you-can-eat restaurant, located less than a 10-minute walk from Cologne South train station. The selection is truly extensive, and the food was absolutely delicious. There's something for everyone! And the prices are very reasonable!

I loved having a buffet with such delicious food and on top of that it was Halal. In love with their special beef which i heard is a regular dish. Also the rice and chicken were amazing. I was here today with my father and grandmother. The food was quite good; I especially enjoyed the tender beef and the flan/pudding. Most of the dishes were hot, and the plates were replenished quickly. However, the floor wasn't entirely clean, and according to my father, there was also a mess/dirtiness in the back kitchen. There's a sign saying that you shouldn't take food away and that you have to pay a €9 penalty if you don't finish your plate (though I don't think this rule is consistently enforced). Still, you have to be fair, and for €16, you can't complain. Plus, there was free black tea to refill your own cup. We were there late on a Tuesday evening, and it wasn't very crowded at all. You could still choose your own table. Overall, it's worth it if you want to try different dishes for a small price or if you want to eat a lot cheaply.

We wanted to try it out – a complete disaster. The tables are arranged like in a school classroom, no tablecloths… You practically have to clean them yourself. The cutlery is in boxes, some of which aren't clean. Very loud. No glasses, only canned cola with a deposit. The food isn't labeled – no information about what it actually is (allergens?!). Four different types of rice? The food is cold. One plate even left a fuzzy feeling in my mouth. They supposedly have lots of fruit, but I saw customers tearing things off with their bare hands twice – and one guy put a flatbread back, definitely not wearing gloves. People, go to a kebab shop or a Chinese restaurant instead – at least you know what you're getting. I spoke to the cashier, he didn't care, oh yeah, they only take cash.

The food was a huge disappointment. The so-called "all you can eat" consisted almost entirely of salads and strange desserts, while proper main courses were practically nonexistent. There were five different types of rice, but everything was cold. You had to get your own soft drinks from the refrigerator in cans. The service was practically nonexistent: there were no glasses, and you had to gather your own cutlery and paper cups. Nothing was laid out on the table; instead, there were tissues meant to serve as napkins. A plate I tried to take from the stack was already dirty. Particularly annoying: you can't pay by card, and there was no indication of this anywhere. You only found out at the checkout that only cash was accepted. The staff worked exclusively in the kitchen. The atmosphere was a complete disaster. The music was deafeningly loud, and the aisles were so narrow that you could barely squeeze between the benches. The whole experience felt like a lavishly improvised, cheaply run large event or wedding where furniture was hastily thrown together – without any concept or attention to detail. The food was disappointing, some of it even inedible. Since the dishes weren't labeled, we often didn't know what we were eating. The fruit was just piled up and looked unappetizing. They also added a €0.50 deposit for the cans. That's why we ended up paying €90 for five people, even though they initially said it would be €15 per person. I had colic for two hours afterward. It was a very unpleasant experience that I definitely wouldn't recommend.

After watching a TikTok video, I thought: Wow! Not your average all-you-eat Chinese restaurant. And hello, for €15!!! Where else can you get such a proper meal for that price these days? First off, yes, everything tasted great!! Now for the "but": This place barely resembles a restaurant! More like a cafeteria! Tables crammed together in long rows, and it was freezing cold!!! You had to wear a jacket while eating. The salads and desserts were excellent! A good selection of different Syrian dishes! However, the chicken was quite dry from being kept warm for so long! On the other hand, the beef was delicious and practically fell apart just by looking at it. You'll definitely find something you like! You have to clear your own plates and cutlery afterward...

There was food lying all over the kitchen floor. You couldn't identify the staff because they were working in street clothes, even in the kitchen. In my opinion, a lot needs to change. Enjoy a delicious Syrian meal in a relaxed, self-service atmosphere (all-you-can-eat buffet, essentially a three-course meal (see photos)) for a relatively low price. The buffet is available from 12 pm and costs €15 per person. Drinks and coffee are extra. We were completely satisfied and would definitely eat here again on our next visit to Cologne.
