Essen war eigentlich lecker und günstig aber einer von meinen Freunden der dabei war hat die ganze Nacht gekotzt

Wir waren im Mandali essen und wirklich positiv überrascht. Für ca. 16€ bekommt man ein All-You-Can-Eat Buffet mit sehr großer Auswahl und ohne Zeitdruck. Es gibt Fleisch, Shawarma, verschiedene Reisgerichte, Saucen, Salate, Desserts und Früchte – alles als Selbstbedienung. Das Essen war lecker und die Auswahl echt stark

Ich habe arabische Restaurants mit Buffet bisher immer mit schlechten Erfahrungen in Deutschland verbunden, da die meisten Buffets geschmacklich und qualitativ leider enttäuschend waren. Aber nach meinem Besuch im Al-Mandali Restaurant war ich total begeistert… die Menge an Essen, die großzügigen Portionen und der köstliche Geschmack gaben einem das Gefühl, selbstgekochte Mahlzeiten zu genießen ❤️ Die Fleischqualität war exzellent, das Hähnchen schmeckte fantastisch und die Sauberkeit war überall spürbar. Das Beste daran: Die meisten Gerichte werden direkt vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet. Das Restaurant bietet eine riesige Auswahl an Gerichten, von orientalischer bis hin zu westlicher Küche, und jedes Gericht ist perfekt zubereitet. Ehrlich gesagt, wünschte ich, ich würde in Köln wohnen, damit ich jeden Tag hier zu Mittag essen könnte 😭. Leider konnte ich keine Fotos machen, da mein Akku leer war, aber das Erlebnis hat sich definitiv gelohnt.

Das Essen war größtenteils versalzen. Der Service ist gut.

Ich möchte meine Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant teilen, da sie insgesamt leider nicht überzeugend war. Beim Betreten fiel sofort auf, dass der Boden sehr rutschig war. Auch im Toilettenbereich war der Boden ungewöhnlich glatt, fast ölig, was einen unsicheren Eindruck hinterließ. Der Bereich rund um das Buffet wirkte ebenfalls ungepflegt und hätte deutlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient. Das Ambiente ist insgesamt sehr einfach gehalten. Die langen Tischreihen erinnern eher an eine größere Veranstaltung oder Kantine, was für uns wenig gemütlich wirkte. Zudem war es im Raum sehr laut, sodass eine entspannte Atmosphäre kaum aufkam. Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, allerdings hatten wir im Anschluss das Gefühl, dass die Verträglichkeit nicht optimal war. Wir besuchen regelmäßig arabische und syrische Restaurants und kennen solche Reaktionen sonst nicht. Irritierend war außerdem, dass die Tische offenbar mit Febreze gereinigt wurden. Der Geruch war deutlich wahrnehmbar, und wir konnten beobachten, wie am Nebentisch damit gesprüht wurde. Das könnte auch die schmierigen Oberflächen erklären. Auch das Erscheinungsbild des Personals wirkte wenig professionell: stark abgenutzte Privatkleidung und sehr verschmutzte Schuhe hinterließen keinen hygienischen Gesamteindruck. Ich komme selbst aus der Gastronomie und weiß, wie anspruchsvoll der Alltag sein kann. Dennoch hätte ich mir hier deutlich mehr Sorgfalt, Hygiene und Atmosphäre gewünscht. Für uns war es leider kein angenehmer Besuch.

16 Euro. Das frisch zubereitete Sawarma ist wirklich köstlich. Die Hühnersuppe schmeckt wie Samgyetang. Es gibt reichlich frisches Gemüse, zum Beispiel orientalischen Salat und Mutabal, und auch der Reis ist lecker. Es ist zwar etwas chaotisch und man bedient sich selbst, aber ich kann es trotzdem empfehlen, da man dort verschiedene orientalische Gerichte zu einem günstigen Preis probieren kann. Getränke kosten 2,50 Euro. Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich. Nur Barzahlung.

Ein absolutes Muss für Liebhaber der syrischen Küche! Unsere Gruppe von 12 Personen (6 Erwachsene, 6 Kinder) hatte eine tolle Zeit. Das Essen: Riesige Auswahl an Salaten, Fleischgerichten, Reis und Desserts. Hervorragende Qualität für nur 16 €. Außerdem gibt es unbegrenzt kostenlosen schwarzen Tee. Für Kinder: Tolle Optionen wie Chicken Nuggets und Pommes. Kinder unter 5 Jahren essen kostenlos, alle anderen zahlen je nach Alter. Die Atmosphäre: Lebhaft und beliebt – wir waren 4 Stunden dort! Für nicht aufgegessene Teller wird eine Gebühr von 9 € erhoben, was zu überschaubaren Portionen beiträgt.

Hier ist ein All-you-can-eat-Restaurant. Der Preis im April 2026 beträgt 16 € pro Person. Getränke sind nicht inbegriffen und müssen extra bezahlt werden. Man kann jedoch so viele Tassen Tee trinken, wie man möchte, und das kostenlos. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Ich war schon zweimal dort und mein Lieblingsgericht ist das Rindfleisch. Es schmeckt fantastisch und ist perfekt zubereitet. Auch der Reis ist super, und ich empfehle, alle Sorten zu probieren. Ich liebe auch das Hühnchen. Die Beilagen und Desserts sind ebenfalls perfekt. Der einzige Minuspunkt dieses Restaurants sind die Toiletten. Sie sind überhaupt nicht sauber. Die Toilettenpapierrollen liegen herum, ohne in ihren Behältern zu sein. Ich fand sie sehr schmutzig. Außerdem waschen sich die Leute dort anscheinend und hinterlassen alles nass. Man sieht viele leere Flaschen in der Toilette. Bevor ich es vergesse, möchte ich noch erwähnen, dass die Süßigkeiten und Desserts fantastisch sind. Ich glaube, man kann in dieses Restaurant gehen und nur Tee, Süßigkeiten und Baklava essen. Das werde ich beim nächsten Mal machen.

Keine gute Wahl. Ehrlich gesagt war das Essen unterdurchschnittlich. Es gab kaum Auswahl, und das Shawarma war alles andere als gesund. Um ehrlich zu sein, war das einzig Gute der Taboulé. Er kostete 16 € pro Person mit Getränk und 18,50 € ohne Getränk. Das war mein erster und letzter Besuch dort.

Ganz ehrlich, ich komme nie wieder. Das Personal war unfreundlich und das Essen hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Sehr enttäuschend.

Leider ließ die Sauberkeit am Buffet, beim Essen und bei der Zubereitung völlig zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen war sehr gewöhnlich; nichts Besonderes. Das war meine erste und letzte Reise dieser Art.

Offenes Buffet, ausgezeichnete Preise, geeignet für Familien

Ein gutes Restaurant mit offenem Buffet, syrischer Küche und dem besten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Gruppen.

Ein toller Ort, wenn man ein Halal-Buffet sucht. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Mir persönlich haben die Hähnchen-/Fleischgerichte mit Reis besonders gut geschmeckt. Auch die Salatbar ist super. Die Süßspeisen waren nicht ganz mein Fall, aber es gibt eine große Auswahl für alle, die sie mögen. Insgesamt ein schönes Restaurant, um mit Familie und Freunden ein Halal-Buffet zu einem sehr günstigen Preis zu genießen.

Das Shawarma verdient zehn Sterne.

Für 15 Euro ist es okay für alle, die nicht kochen können oder einfach mal eine Kochpause einlegen wollen. Der Nachteil ist, dass es keine Parkplätze gibt; man kann eine Stunde suchen und findet trotzdem nichts.

Nach unserem ersten Besuch ist dieses Restaurant tatsächlich zum Lieblingsrestaurant meiner Familie geworden. Es verdient 5 Sterne und ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir waren am 5.4.26 da, weil wir der Empfehlung von Max‘s Video gefolgt sind. Ich war vorab etwas erschrocken durch die schlechten Bewertungen, wir wollten es aber dennoch ausprobieren. Für die, die auch auf diese Idee kommen: Lasst es bleiben. Als wir rein kamen war es schon recht voll, die Tische stehen wie in einer Mensa, ohne Tischdecken etc., nicht sehr schön was das Ambiente angeht aber okay. Muss ja nichts heißen. Die Servicekraft wies uns einen Tisch zu, der noch dreckig war. Nicht allzu schlimm. Was dann aber kam, hat mich sprachlos gemacht. Sie hat den Tisch mit Febreze Textilerfrischer besprüht und abgewischt. Mal davon abgesehen, dass es nicht hygienisch ist, roch es während des gesamten Besuchs nach diesem Textilerfrischer. Das war schon echt eklig. Das Buffet ist von der Auswahl her okay, aber nicht besonders viel. Man kommt sich eher vor wie in einer Mensa. Das billigste Geschirr und Besteck was es gibt und nicht zwingend sauber. Das Essen selbst war ok, aber nicht wirklich lecker. Das Chicken war sehr wässrig. Die Salate extrem sauer. Dann dachte ich, okay, die Desserts sehen gut aus, vllt retten sie das Essen. War leider nicht der Fall. Ich lasse selten Dessert stehen aber mehr als einen Bissen von jedem hab ich nicht essen können. Für 16 Euro pro Person kann man jetzt nichts Weltbewegendes erwarten, ist mir schon klar. Aber die Bewertung von Max konnten weder mein Mann, noch ich verstehen. Von der Hygiene her sah es soweit ok aus, würde es mit einer typischen Dönerbude in Köln gleichsetzen. Alles in allem: Spart es euch lieber, wir haben nicht mal zwei Teller gegessen und sind gegangen. Sehr schade.

The food at the buffet is delicious, but unfortunately not labeled. The selection of salads and fruit is the largest. There is no table service, as even the drinks are self-service. The music creates an authentic atmosphere.

HALAL RESTAURANT ❤️ Unfortunately, the shawarma pieces were extremely greasy, the chicken strips were dry and lukewarm, the fries were cold and soaked in oil (they'd clearly been sitting out for an hour), the rice was dry, and there were no drinks included except for refillable mini tea bags. The baklava was very tasty. The salads were also very fresh and delicious. I might go again. The music was unfortunately very loud.

We visited Mandali in Cologne today and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the buffet was constantly replenished. We especially enjoyed the desserts – they were perfectly suited to our tastes. The various rice dishes were also excellent. Among them was a yellow rice with a very unique and delicious flavor. Everything was well-organized and the staff was very attentive. We also appreciated that the price of tea was clearly listed on the menu. Overall, a very pleasant experience – we'll definitely be back!

For €16 per person, you get a truly fantastic all-you-can-eat experience! The selection is extensive, with the shawarma and the proper doner kebab being particular highlights. The food is consistently delicious, and you'll definitely leave satisfied. The ambiance is rather simple, and the service could be a bit more attentive—tables are sometimes cleared and cleaned rather late. But honestly, for the price, you absolutely can't complain. If you're looking for good food at a fair price, this is the place to go!

Honestly, I used to like the place, but unfortunately, when I went for the first day of Ramadan, I bought meals for two people, and they charged me for two, making it more expensive than if I just sat down to eat. They charged me 32 (currency unspecified), even though the food was worth the price. A few days later, when we went back to buy more food for two, they charged me for the salad, which is included with the meal. If I were eating in the restaurant, I would have eaten all kinds of salads in larger quantities, but unfortunately, they charged me for two meals as if they were for three people, asking for 55 (currency unspecified). Then they took pity on us and reduced the price to 40 (currency unspecified), even though the containers they have are barely enough for half a person. It's a shame to have such treatment during Ramadan. This food costs 55 euros.

I had planned a nice weekend with good food. The result: I spent the entire weekend on the toilet after visiting this place. The health department will be hearing from me; this establishment absolutely must be shut down. Take this as a warning; you'll thank me later. The level of unhygienic conditions there is unacceptable. On the way to the toilet, you walk through two kitchen areas with food lying all over the floor, and the toilets are filthy. LLP should be using this place for food preparation.

The food is nice, well prepared and feels pretty much like Syrian home food. The atmosphere is not too quiet, but this is expected to find in a buffet. It's a multi cultural atmosphere, Arabs, Indians, Asian, etc... It's 15€ per person and you refill as much as you can. The staff were a big help for whatever I asked about. It's a good experience I believe, recommended.

Great food and atmosphere. I like that you have to pay 9€ extra if you left food on your plate. The only thing I didn't like is that the toilets aren't clean. That's something worth improving. The tables are bit close to each other, making it difficult to move around freely. I also think it's a shame that you don't have an official website or online presence. It would make it easier to check out the variety of food and you could gain more customers. And if you offer specific dishes on specific days, it would be nice to know in advance. It's a great place for families, the price is fair and it's good that you explicitly don't offer alcoholic beverages. It's a bit difficult to find parking spots though.

The food was bad, the taste wasn't good, the service was poor, and besides that, the place was small and crowded.

There were four of us on a Thursday evening. We called ahead and were told that reservations weren't necessary or even possible. However, we had no trouble finding a table. Unfortunately, the tables were very close together and not particularly clean. The buffet selection was okay, with fresh shawarma, tender meat, delicious rice dishes, and interesting desserts. Drinks are only available directly from the refrigerators – self-service! You have to clear your own plates, so there's essentially no service. I'm giving it one star because I did receive information about one of the dishes when I asked. Unfortunately, nothing was labeled. Also bothersome, at least during the colder months, was the chill that permeated the entire room as soon as the entrance door opened. Note: Cash only! In conclusion: If you enjoy good food and Syrian cuisine, you should give it a try for €16 (drinks are €2.50). However, you shouldn't be too concerned about hygiene!

And then there's the cancellation of orders if you can't handle them or if there's not enough. Why even offer delivery in the first place? I was giving this service a 5-star rating, but if I could give it less than 0, I would. Losing a single customer makes you long for more, and you start dreaming about the good old days.

It's good, tasty, and there's a good selection. Inexpensive, €16 per person for an all-you-can-eat buffet. However, it's very crowded, like a cafeteria, with no privacy. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, go for it without hesitation. But if you're looking for a quieter spot, or if you're a couple, avoid it. During peak hours (noon and 8 pm), the entire population of Cologne gathers there.

We were there on Monday at lunchtime and got a table very easily. There was a great selection of delicious food, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive! The value for money is really good, €16 per person for the buffet. Bring cash, as they only accept cash payments. Unfortunately, it was quite cold at a window seat in winter, so dress warmly.

Mandali is a wonderful Syrian all-you-can-eat restaurant, located less than a 10-minute walk from Cologne South train station. The selection is truly extensive, and the food was absolutely delicious. There's something for everyone! And the prices are very reasonable!

Disastrous. Everything was covered in oil, and then they put out light ketchup to meet quotas. Anyone who goes here will definitely spend a long time on the toilet the next day.

I loved having a buffet with such delicious food and on top of that it was Halal. In love with their special beef which i heard is a regular dish. Also the rice and chicken were amazing. You’ll love it if you are ok with crowded places especially in the evenings but the food was worth it as it was cheaper compared to the portions.
