Everything was delicious but there was no parking nearby!!!

Four of us had dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there is more shadow than light on this visit. Although the concept is based on ordering online and picking up the drinks and dishes yourself, everything took absolutely too long that evening. More than 30 minutes of waiting time just for the first drinks. That's an absolute no-go. The restaurant was very full and unfortunately very loud, so that you could hardly have a conversation at a normal volume. The food is very innovative, but does not correspond to the reality of Turkish Kurdish cuisine and, as some others have already mentioned, is unfortunately very similar. Accordingly, white ratio is only okay. The staff always tried hard, but were absolutely overwhelmed that evening. Clearing dishes and cleaning tables was hardly possible. Unfortunately, the negative impression predominates during this visit.

Everything is relatively average. But I find it particularly disappointing that there is no service. You go to the counter like in a canteen and order. Afterwards you have to go and collect the food and drinks yourself.

Quite ok. Portions were really small but very expensive. Drinks take a very, very long time. We had already finished eating long before the drinks arrived. Service very slow. Food was tasty but nothing special. Simit very dry. There are much better restaurants.

We've been to the Bona'me in Deutz for a long time and I have to express my disappointment. For those not familiar with it, the dishes may be modern and top-notch, but for connoisseurs of Turkish cuisine, no matter how much the dishes have been changed, they are catastrophic here. We ordered beyti, which we have already eaten here a few times, the dough was ready-made and not cooked, the meat patties were ready-made from the freezer and bland. All in all, the appearance was okay, but the taste was disastrous. That's why we stopped eating. All in all, for laypeople who like to eat fancy food that doesn't taste like anything, it's great. But for those in the know it's not the best... Very disappointing when you could have made so much out of it.

Since the concept was renewed, there has been virtually no service. Ordering, picking up the food yourself... everything works with a pager and cell phone, I personally don't like it. Many tables are full of half-empty plates and glasses, and the food is no longer what it used to be. What a shame!

Very tasty food, but everything else was very disaster! The pager system doesn't work at all!!! Or it fails because there are no pagers left. Then the order is supposedly ready, but only one of two dishes. You can then pick up drinks afterwards, but they are not ready and the food gets cold while you wait for hours for the drinks. Orders via QR Qode, but WiFi is completely overwhelmed. If you can wait patiently for food and drinks, this is the right place as it is really delicious. But otherwise the system is a complete disgrace!!!!!

Food good. BUT get your process under control! We stood in line for 45 minutes. Many tables inside were empty. First of all, everyone was cashed in. With just one cash register. And then new cards were distributed.

In the end we were able to cancel both the drinks and the appetizer that we didn't receive, but that wasn't what we hoped for. If you want to maintain such a large restaurant, you have to be able to run it.

Absolutely underground experience. Table reserved for 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., despite three requests, no drinks were served (it was so busy, "everyone wants drinks"). Then the first of 4 dishes were announced via a beeper. Food picked up, but unfortunately no cutlery available. "Would I be able to eat it like that?" A salad? 😂 Then after 5 minutes and a screaming fit we got plastic cutlery. Camping cutlery, disposable cutlery (!) unbelievable! Second main course ready at the same time, still no more cutlery, still no drinks. We then got up and left. In the Deutzer Freiheit there is a great pizzeria, Neapolitan pizza, highly recommended. Bona me, never never never again!!!

The service in clearing and cleaning the tables did not work well - our table was still dirty, with cutlery and glasses from the previous guests, and it took a long time to clean it. The ordering concept was new to us, but we liked it – quick and easy! However, as tourists, we had poor internet reception and since no service staff paid any attention to us, it was tedious to ask for the WiFi password. A simple solution would be to write it down on the map or table. The ambience is beautifully decorated, but unfortunately also quite loud.

My partner and I got food poisoning here. We noticed when we tasted the Hunus that it was very bitter and sour on the tongue, but we didn't think anything of it. After we contacted customer service the next day, they wanted to invite us again, but it was just talk, as they no longer responded to emails and calls. There is no service, everything is self-service

Edit: Portions have become very small, and prices have increased at the same time. Unfortunately, the taste isn't as good either. The main courses were very good, especially the special Manti Chili Cheese, which was super delicious. Unfortunately, the appetizer platter couldn't compete with other Turkish/Oriental restaurants. The dips were more like ready-made, and the flatbread was hard and chewy, not at all airy. We also missed the börek and acili esme; a few olives or something similar would have been nice. Prices are quite high for self-service, but everything is generally expensive these days, and the portions are large. Therefore, the value for money is still good. Despite ordering three, we shared a buzzer so we could eat at the same time. We definitely liked that.

Messy, bathroom dirty, food okay. Unfortunately there are hardly any vegan options, not even vegan bread for hummus... The vegan salad is mediocre, the "falafel" patties are soggy and not tasty. Cocktails in wine glasses, and wine in champagne glasses... That may have been due to the chaotic Saturday evening. The staff was nice.

We were really looking forward to the food. We wanted to reserve in advance for 4 people. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. So we went there without a reservation. There were plenty of free tables for four, but they were all reserved. When we asked why, we were told that a reservation for 4 people is only possible for Muslims during Lent. We were offered a long table where we would have had to sit with other people. Then we left again. Tolerance is a foreign word there. You have to imagine it the other way around, e.g. In a Cologne brewery, reservations are only possible for Christians during Easter.

Very chic location. The food is great & absolutely fits the price. You will be treated nicely and instructed if you have to wait a bit because all the tables are occupied. The ordering system also has something. You just have to fight through something because it's new to you.

I ordered the chicken curry. Large portion that will definitely fill you up and very tasty. The principle is similar to Vapiano - everything is freshly prepared in front of the customers, you order either at the order point or via a QR code on your cell phone, take a beeper and go to your seat. As soon as the food is ready, the beeper gives a signal. In other words, you have to pick up the food yourself and the staff brings drinks to the table. All in all, a really nice atmosphere and a recommendation from me.

The ambience is good but everything else is a failure. There was no one there to explain how the ordering system worked, neither at the checkout nor the *waiters*. Food tasted like nothing. Bulgur terrible. You even get your own drinks. I can do this at home and don't have to go to a restaurant. Niiiiie again. Nobody was friendly either.

I've only been to Bona'me Factory GQ for the pastries and coffee. Although it was very expensive, the quality was at least comparable to that in Paris. The desserts at Bona'me Köln-Deutz, on the other hand, were far too sweet and didn't taste convincing. My tea was also just mediocre.

Unfortunately a big disappointment. The food was of poor quality and tasted really bad. One had the feeling that little emphasis was placed on fresh and high-quality ingredients. The service was also unfriendly and seemed annoyed instead of being hospitable. The concept of the restaurant may seem modern and appealing at first glance, but is ultimately poorly thought out. It's more appearance than reality - on the outside yuck, on the inside yuck. One thing is certain for us: we won't be coming back. Absolutely not recommended.

While I was picking up food I didn't understand a man ACOUSTICALLY and then another young gentleman came over, knowing full well that I spoke German, and asked me in English where I came from and whether I spoke English, later he laughed about it. He probably thought I wouldn't understand his employee's German, but misunderstandings do happen. whether it was meant in a bad way or not I think that's pretty inappropriate. By the way, if you want to see this young man twerking in front of his employees, you've come to the right place. I think you should do it at home, but well, to each his own

Bona'me is always a good idea to go out to eat with friends. There is a lot to offer and there should be something for everyone. The prices are also fair and the location looks inviting.

A modern restaurant for a younger audience. The food is first class. The waiting times are first class. But it all only works with an online menu and ordering independently via a tablet. It takes a lot of getting used to and I also find the structure of the menu quite complicated the first time. For older people it should hardly be feasible since you have no contact with the waiter and have to do everything more or less independently. The staff is super friendly to anyone who has anything to do with you or questions about how the whole system works. Conclusion: Very tasty food but if you value service and personal contact with a waiter, this is unfortunately the wrong place. If that doesn't bother you, this is the right place.

Beyti with vegetables is super delicious, an absolute recommendation! The pide is always delicious as are the starter plates. The vegetarian Babuko and Orient 'n Cheese noodles are also very good. The desserts are delicious, although the selection has now become smaller. There is a good selection for vegetarians. There are very few vegan dishes. I would like the vegan and vegetarian dishes to be marked so that it is easier to find them without having to read the ingredient list. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a small, lovely corner with sofas, armchairs and a stove that is very cozy.

The restaurant impresses as soon as you enter with its modern, stylish furnishings and pleasant atmosphere. The combination of oriental flair and urban design is really successful. The food was an absolute dream! The menu offers a wonderful selection of Anatolian dishes, freshly prepared and served with the best ingredients. I can particularly recommend the Adana kebab and the mezze platters – a delight for the senses! The portions were generous and perfectly seasoned. The staff was very friendly, attentive and looked after us well throughout the evening. The open kitchen is also a highlight, where you can watch the chefs at work. The location in Deutz is ideal – central and easily accessible. If you are looking for a modern, authentic oriental restaurant in Cologne, Bona’me is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back! We were a group of 11 girls on site yesterday and despite it being very busy, we were able to be served within 45 minutes, have our food served and a taxi was also organized for us. Service, friendliness & food a 10/10. Since we were already so convinced yesterday, we also decided on Boname for our brunch! Great location, mega cozy interior! And again everything was more than perfect! Only recommended!

Preparation always looks delicious, no matter what dish. When it came to taste, we all missed the spices. We had 2 desserts one was less sweet our favorite was yogurt with walnuts and honey. Mega! The other one was ultra sweet and we wouldn't take any more. But we would love to come back because the atmosphere was great and the organization was also super modern. We would also like to try other dishes.
