You buy your own meals. The atmosphere is superb and the quality of the food is top notch. They definitely nail the flavor. There is a warm environment. An environment where you can come with both your family and friends. Design and comfort are top notch. Prices are very affordable. I come every time I visit Cologne.🍀

Nice Italian Restaurant. Loved the manti, pastas and the pizzas, the dessert options are great too. The location is great, right near the Rhine riverfront. Awesome view in the evenings, no outdoor seating though. It's self service and they use electronic devices to order, food collection and for the bill payment. Nice experience overall.

Ordering from the machine and then picking up the food at the counter always causes people to walk back and forth throughout the restaurant. You have to like it, but it's not for me. I'm still old-fashioned and like to be served at the table...

The food is good. Ordering from a vending machine like at McDonalds is just bad. If the charger is full, you'll probably have to wait 30 minutes. The chairs without backrests are nothing either. Very expensive snack.

The ordering system at the machines takes a lot of getting used to. You have to stand up for every little thing. You also have to pick up your own food. Nevertheless, everything takes quite a long time, even though the service has virtually nothing to do with it. The food is tasty, but not outstanding either. Drinks good average. Really bad! Rather not. September 30th from 7 p.m The restaurant is not prepared for groups - there are not enough tickets. Ordering at the machine and picking it up later works poorly and has the charm of a drinks machine at the train station. The system messed up my order. When I asked, I was yelled at and then there was a cold dish that I didn't even accept. The next version was carelessly slapped together and could have happily stayed in the oven for a few more minutes. The restaurant is super loud and there is constant coming and going at the table as people from the group pick up food and drinks.

The food was delicious and was prepared in under 10 minutes. The staff was very nice and helpful. (Thanks to the blonde lady with the red nails 🩷) I will come here again :)

This wasn't our first time at Bona'me. Whether with friends, family or work colleagues. The ambience is suitable for every occasion and is wonderfully located close to the Rhine. Unfortunately, there are hardly any parking spaces nearby, so it's better to get here by train or bike. The food is consistently delicious and the selection is great! The service has been converted to an automated model. Nevertheless, the employees have an open eye for empty dishes. The prices are slightly high, but probably fair given the location. Overall, it's always nice to be here.

It takes a bit of getting used to as there are no menus. You can look at the menu using a barcode, but nothing more. You have to order via terminals in the store. A bit inconvenient as you have to select everything you want again including drinks. The terminals are a bit hidden and there are far too few for the size. The food was tasty and the quantity was sufficient. Personally, there were too many dishes with mint in them, but that's a matter of taste. The furnishings are very tasteful.

I was at the Bona'me Cologne-Deutz and I was thrilled! The food, particularly the pide and manti, was incredibly tasty, and the selection of Turkish dishes and desserts is outstanding. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is stylishly decorated. Absolutely recommended!

The food is truly first class and the selection is impressive. The homemade drinks are also simply fantastic. The staff were always friendly and helpful, which made the visit very pleasant. However, I find the concept of having to get your own food a bit inconvenient. If there is no table available near the kitchen, you have to walk the entire restaurant, which can be a bit difficult when your hands are full. Unfortunately, the ambience was disturbed by the music being switched on and off several times. In addition, the type of music reminded me more of a party than a cozy dinner. For these reasons I still give it a generous 3 out of 5 stars.

Unfortunately our experience was a bit disappointing. The food was okay, but it didn't convince us in terms of taste.

Unfortunately it was uncomfortable and the waiters did nothing except stand off to the side and tell each other jokes. Compared to the restaurant in Münster, the food is smaller and slimmer. You can tell there's no love involved. The chairs aren't comfortable either. I don't want to sound like a hater but that's the truth. In addition, you can't order via a website on your cell phone, you have to type everything in on a small display at the bar and then get everything yourself. Even the drinks. The restaurant in Münster is 100 times better

We found out about this restaurant via TIK TOK. And of course we wanted to try it out. The food was really good. Unfortunately, every time I asked a question, the staff felt annoyed or didn't pay much attention to me. Others, on the other hand, had everything explained in a very friendly manner. The system for ordering is modern but there is no service. You can look at the menu using a QR code, but you have to order via a panel, of which there are 5 in the entire restaurant. At least I only saw 5. After ordering, you have to hold out the card you receive. This is what you pay for in the end. Then you have to take a pager (a device that vibrates as soon as the food and drinks are ready) and hold it over the NFC device. If it vibrates you have to get everything yourself, so the service staff is actually superfluous. They just clear the things from the table and are there to prepare the food and drinks, so they collect money. And for this “service” it was really expensive. Especially since people from oriental countries are generally associated with hospitality, that is not the case here. It feels like you do everything yourself, like in a cafeteria, only you ask the employee which menu or drink you want to drink. Unfortunately, it was once again proof that not everything on the Internet is always great. More appearance than reality. Or simply we have and something else presented underneath. Overall, summarized. Food, delicious. Service annoyed, not helpful and you actually have to do everything yourself. Prices for which service is not justified. Was it ok, again? Unfortunately no.

It was great. I have rarely eaten something so incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was also very nice. The food is ordered via a terminal, you receive a device that notifies you when the food is ready and you can then pick it up.

2 stars for ambience. The restaurant is completely overrated. Food is not good. Food and Ayran were too salty. You order something and get something else. There is no service. You feel like you are on a package holiday. Everyone is walking back and forth.

Horrible overall. It's impossible to order here. The staff literally has no idea what's happening and couldn't answer any questions about allergies, which is a huge concern. Basically, I'm not a big fan of chains in this format. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the opposite. Very nice atmosphere, self-service and pick-up, which reminds me a little of Vapiano, only with Turkish-Kurdish cuisine. Interesting concept, a variety of dishes, also good for sharing. Optimal location next to Deutzer Freiheit with direct access to the Rheinboulevard. The taste of the food is quite good. However, it should definitely not be compared to a typical Turkish restaurant that serves a barbecue and Yaprak meat. Still a very interesting experience and great choice of food. We liked it. Would I visit this restaurant more often? I don't know it. Still little to complain about. An ideal retreat for a lunch break. However, overall it doesn't quite suit my taste (in a figurative sense), but if you want to feast on something tasty in a hurry, this is the right place for you.

Bona'me dribbled out all of us. The concept is truly a disaster, we pay overpriced prices and they save on the service. It looks like an upscale restaurant and I couldn't believe my friends when they said that you have to get tickets and then pick up the food like in a cafeteria with a buzzer. I just find the prices incredibly expensive. Yesterday I ordered a goat cheese salad for almost 15 euros. The “goat cheese” was just shepherd’s cheese. The components of the salad were: 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 small quarter pieces of pepper, what felt like half a can of corn?, 3 small quarter pieces of cucumber, a few lettuce leaves, and small sprouts. There was also a small bowl of artificial strawberry jam that was so sweet that it definitely wouldn't have gone with the “goat cheese”. So definitely not worth the price! Our dishes sat on the table for at least half an hour. I asked my friends if we need to move this too? She said, no no, they're already doing that. After more than half an hour, I took the dishes away myself, only to receive a sarcastic response: “That’s lovely.” I generally don't think the canteen concept is bad, but not at such prices!

Tortelinis counted 9 pieces 🤦 140 EUR 4 people paid and didn't get enough. Way too expensive for 4 kofta.

The two of us were at bona'me in Cologne-Deutz on a Saturday afternoon and ordered two Manti dishes. Unfortunately our visit was not particularly pleasant. The plate on which the dish was served was damaged and was not stable on the table, which affected the enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, the price was not justified compared to the quality of the food. The home made iced tea, which tasted really good, deserves a positive mention. Service was OK, but nothing outstanding. Seating was chaotic as there were a lot of people in the restaurant and lack of organization. Overall, our experience was disappointing and unfortunately we would not recommend the bona'me.

The service was very fast and the servers were very friendly, The dishes are delicious, I highly recommend, we were passing through and we will come back without hesitation.

The restaurant is a self serving restaurant, the staff is rude atleast the food is not bad. Nobody explains how things work there. The constant vibrating machines to go pick up drinks or food is irritating.

There is good food and delicious drinks here! On our last visit the service was a bit unfriendly. Twice we had to reorder drinks and wait 20 minutes. We only found out when we asked that the drink was out. We didn't like the reaction of the service staff. Maybe it will work better next time!

Underground service, complete self-service with impersonal ordering at terminals inside. We sat at the table and were not served for 20 minutes, this type of self service is not advertised or advertised anywhere. Then you have to pick up the food yourself in 5 different processes, bring coffee, lemonades and cocktails to the table yourself and the quality of the dishes is unfortunately only mediocre to okay. The poor elderly couple at the next table fell with their tray between the narrow high tables and many wire legs and the poor man landed in the middle of the shards of his cocktails. The staff had to be explicitly made aware of this. The espresso martini tasted carbonated. When we asked how it was prepared, we didn't know for sure; the smoothie tasted stale and old. An absolute fiasco and not worth the stress, a cozy brunch is different and definitely not here.

Another delicious and pretty restaurant with Turkish cuisine. Everything here (apart from clearing the table) runs without personal contact. The fact that we had to get up twice for drinks, starters and main courses was a bit annoying, but so be it. We sat very well, it was quiet and we enjoyed it too. The downside is the prices, so you can easily expect to pay €50 for two people if you share a starter.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, no one explained their ordering system to us, which is why we only waited at the table for 15 minutes (it was a bit our fault, but they could have helped us) when we went to the ordering machine, there were exactly the 3 drinks we wanted I actually didn't want to drink anymore :( (unlucky again). Because the drinks had unfortunately already been booked onto our cards even though they were no longer available, we had to go back to the starting table and have them debited again. The ordering system is reminiscent of the Vapiano with round things that start beeping when the food is ready. It was a bit stupid when mine started beeping even though nothing was ready, so I got up again to get the food, only to have the employees look at me strangely and ask why I was there! At some point we were able to pick up our food, although the portion was really manageable. Both I and my friends got fed up with it :( (I'm actually a person who doesn't eat much). On top of that, I didn't really like my food either. I had something with falafel and I have to say that every other small kebab shop does it better and cheaper. My girlfriend really liked the manti but it was also far too little. The view is very nice but we won't be coming back! It's better to order something in hand at the nearest kebab shop and sit on the banks of the Rhine :)

Everyone had to go to the terminal and type in. After the first order didn't work, the whole thing worked again. A bit complicated. A tablet would be easier for the group here. Otherwise definitely recommended.

The ambience is nice and the food and drinks look great too. However, unfortunately it is more appearance than reality. The dishes look great for photos or Instagram, but they don't taste good at all. We ordered several dishes and they were all equally bad. The drinks were too sweet and tasted strange, the food was way too greasy. We discovered a hair in the bread. The price is not justified at all for such a meal. For two you pay at least €40-60. It costs like fine dining and unfortunately doesn't even taste as good as fast food.

I really like this place because I am turkish and it is nice to have a place in Nrw to have some turkish food other than Kebab. But I really don't like the self service system here. You go and order from a board, try to make it right, get stressed, get a handbell for your order, go pick your drink from the bar when it rings, and then go pick your food from the kitchen when the other bell rings, get your own cuttlery ... It is not nice to come to a restaurant and run after your food, specially when its this complicated. We came to have a rest and some food and in the end I was even more tired and couldn't even sit till we get our food finally with my friend. I can recommend tacos, was three different kind, one with cheese, one with sucuk and one with köfte. So was a nice experience. And the köfte plate with bulgur and yogurt was very good, felt like made by a turkish mom. I also like their pomegranate sherbet.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting bonaˊme in Cologne-Deutz and I have to say that I was very impressed by the ambience of the place. The furnishings are modern and stylish, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the self-service system was a bit complicated. You had to log in to an input system and then place your order. It took me a while to get used to it, but the staff was friendly and helpful in helping me with my questions. As for the food, I ordered the MERCİMEK ÇORBASI (lentil soup) and the BONA’ME PİDE with chicken. The lentil soup was really tasty and perfectly seasoned. It was nice and creamy and had a great taste. The chicken pide was also delicious. The batter was fresh and crispy and the chicken was tender and juicy. It was a winning combination of flavors and textures. I have also read some other visitor reviews online and it seems that many other guests have had similar positive experiences. Some also mentioned the wide variety of food and the fresh ingredients used. Others praised the quick preparation of the dishes and the friendly staff. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at the bonaˊme Cologne-Deutz. The ambience was nice, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Although the self-service system was a bit complicated, it didn't affect my overall impression. I can definitely recommend bonaˊme and will happily come back to try more dishes.

The concept is a disaster. No waiters, you have to serve yourself. Our table wasn't cleared or cleaned, meaning we were allowed to do that ourselves. From then on it was actually just a matter of walking every 30 seconds and picking up our own food/drinks. There was no time to arrive and enjoy the time. The operation of the terminal was a disaster. Sometimes we had to wait in line for minutes and then there were only problems. You couldn't write any comments. I think the prices are a bit high considering there is no service here.

Better go to one of the kebab shops on Deutzer Freiheit. Not only is it tastier, but the price is also more understandable. Here you pay far too much for mediocre food and you're constantly running through the store to pick up the very small portions. We paid €5.90 for two small blobs of hummus with the smallest flatbread in the world. It was the size of a child's hand.

I like the concept here and especially that you can see every dish on the menu. There are enough seats. The background noise is a bit high due to the design of the rooms. The taste wasn't 100% convincing and the meat seemed rather tough.

The restaurant is ideally located directly on the Rhine terraces and the Deuter Bridge. It is also very nice in terms of the furnishings but also thanks to the very open rooms.
