Saana Restaurant in Köln

Large kebab shop. Meat plate with rice, salad was ok. Service very pleasant and nice. The grill heated the place up a bit. Quite good for a quick snack in between meals.

It took me 15 minutes for a kebab and I didn't like it at all. Never come back

For 8 years I've been coming by every few months and getting a mixed grilled plate that always tastes fantastic. Meat, rice and bread are always perfect. The service is always very nice too. Recently there were 2 Ayran for free. Thank you very much and see you next time.

Dry, salty food, waiter didn't take order accurately. The waiter and chef became unfriendly. We had to pay more than what was on the menu. By salad we don't just mean half of a burnt tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, onions and a spoonful of coleslaw. We were only told when we ordered that there was no more kebab. When I got home, I had stomach cramps myself and my husband had diarrhea!!!

I haven't visited such a bad restaurant in Germany for years, disgusting service, disgusting toilets, dirty cutlery, eating was nothing either 🤮 2 days we had a stomach ache, never again, I wouldn't recommend it either. Mennn can't eat there anymore. Is Toier 2 times cable 19.90€ normal costs 12.€ so you don't give 19.90 but there is also a Kurdish restaurant in Bonn but you keep €14

We had ordered Adana kebap and chicken cutlets. The smell of chicken cutlets was so bad that we gave it back, then a guy came who argued that the food was okay.

Falafel taste strangely and distinctly like cheese, which is probably due to the frying fat. Salad 1/4 onions. Hommos very little and ferments easily. The bread was fresh and delicious. The back restaurant area is very dark and stuffy. Overall disappointed.

Very unhygienic. Was served by a waiter with a cigarette in his hand and he served me my food like that, he was actually standing at the kebab stand. I am a regular customer at the restaurant, it has the best service and the best employees. The food is simply top and the location is also great for the price. The store is simply awesome and a total recommendation.

First of all: I have eaten Döner Dürüm very often throughout Germany and I have to say that nowhere is the Dürüm as good as at Saana. The meat is extremely well seasoned, the sauces are tasty and the dürüm bread is freshly baked and has an ideal consistency for this dish. Simply outstanding! The situation is similar with the Ayran from the “Ayran Fountain”. This is neither too sour nor too bland - but perfectly balanced and most importantly: of course completely fresh. The service was always friendly and courteous despite the Saturday hustle and bustle. Great, that's just how it has to be.

Especially Kelle Paça and the bread here is great. But ambience could be better.

Solid Turkish grill kebab restaurant

A very popular shop in Cologne Kalk. As always. Huge portions freshly and deliciously prepared. The meat was tender and juicy. The staff friendly and accommodating. In-house Ayran and the absolute highlight: the hot flatbread from the Tandir oven 😋 I absolutely recommend it. Oh, almost forgot. If you get a chance, try the Adana Kebab 😉👍

Unfortunately things have gotten worse, the quality has deteriorated a lot, the food no longer tastes good, the rice and kebab weren't cooked through, even the ayran didn't taste good even though it was fresh! Only the bread and okra remained tasty, a mixed grill plate you only got meat on bulgur, no salad no nothing, there were three of us and we were all dissatisfied. In the past you paid the expensive price but for good quality, now that the quality has deteriorated we won't go back.

Was letztes dort und haben Vorspeisenteller bestellt die Soßen wahren nicht mehr frisch!!!! Sauer Geschmack! Zusätzlich haben wir 2 Dönerteller bestellt mit dem Wunsch das wir Soßen einzeln bekommen,dass beste die Soßen würden einfach auf dem Dönerteller gemischt draufgeknallt.... Ich hab mein Essen zurück gehen lassen und durfte auch noch zahlen ! Das letzte Mal dort gewesen definitiv.

Wurden an einen klebrigen Tisch gesetzt. Sprich, offenbar werden die Tische nach Abräumen nicht gewischt. Das bestellte Essen kam einigermaßen schnell an den Tisch. Jedoch bin ich auch ein Hobbykoch und bin der Meinung, dass dort die Leute das eigene Essen nicht probieren. Die bestellten Gerichte wie z.b Dönerteller wurden ohne Souce, troken serviert. Etwas von allem Gemüse aber noch nichts gemeinsam. Es wurde nicht mit Liebe zubereitet!!! Im großen und ganzen würde ich diesen Lokal leider nicht empfehlen und das Geld 💰 ist wo anders besser investiert. Vielleicht auch etwas netteres Personal einstellen und eigene Gerichte nach Feierabend probieren.

Den Leuten sind sehe lieb , aber es ist sehr teuer wenn ich mit den Andre Restaurants vergleichen.

Wir waren am 30.12. mal wieder zum Abendessen dort. Ohne Reservierung haben wir sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Brot mit Dips und Getränke wurden sehr schnell gebracht. Unser Essen wurde ebenfalls ohne längere Wartezeit an den Tisch gebracht und es war sehr lecker. 3 bis 4 x im Jahr gehen wir dort essen und alles was wir probiert haben hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr empfehlenswert und wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste mal.

1 stren ist so viel für dieses restaurant. 20 minute warte zeit bis tisch frei ist denn nacher mehr ales 20 minute gewartet bis menü karte gebracht denn essen war so schlimm ich habe nicht mal helfte gegessen schade. und denn tschay trinken 🙄 ich habe mehr ales halb stunde wieder gewartet auf tschay ich habe 5 mal gesagt bis ich endlich tschay bekommen. obwohl ich kurde bin und das restaurant auch kurden sind aber ich habe noch nie im meine leben in so schlimme restaurants gegessen nie wider nie 👐🏿

Mit irakisch/kurdische küche hat das wenig zutun. Die meisten Gerichte (80%) bekommt man im türkischen Restaurant auch. Das Ambiente ist ok, man sieht das lange nichts mehr getan wurde was die Einrichtung angeht. Das Essen Falafel Teller war gut, preis ist Mega. Brot was aus dem Ofen kommt ist brutal.
