I ordered there today and had it delivered. My shawama plate was good in terms of portion size and taste, but my criticism was that the bowl was too small, so the salad and fries were on the bottom and the meat was placed on top, so the fries were limp and the salad was warm the food is only lukewarm, perhaps you should pack the fries and salad separately or choose other packaging

The prices are relatively high with average-sized portions and no outstanding taste. The music is way too loud. The air in the restaurant becomes very bad as the evening progresses and you quickly get a headache. The staff are partly friendly and competent and partly overwhelmed or far too relaxed: (Quote: “Oh, didn't they tell you on the phone that you can't pay with a debit card? Ugh, sorry, that's really stupid now **e.) What kind of interaction is that and what kind of tone towards customers?! And yes, apparently you can't pay with a debit card here, although that's not mentioned anywhere. The wrong dish was served at our table and after our comment nothing happened. We certainly won't be back that quickly.

We went to Al Salam for the first time today. What can we say, it doesn't get much better than this. From the first moment we felt absolutely welcome. The service was great and the food was to die for. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Cologne. Many thanks to the entire Al Salam team for this wonderful evening.

I bought two shawarma sandwiches XL - wow, incredibly disappointing. There was very little meat in them; it was mostly bread with some vegetables and watery yogurt sauce with zero flavor. I didn't finish the sandwich. Terrible value for money and incredibly disappointing.

I ordered tortellini with spinach, unfortunately the food was inedible and had long hair. Unfortunately I had to throw the food away. I'll never order there again!
