Visited for the first time on Saturday and, for two, settled for four starters: lentil soup, shenklish, fried mixed vegetables, and beef sambusak – all very good, very fresh, and handmade -> perfect. My husband and I went back on Sunday – chich taouk, muhammara (soooo delicious), tabbouleh, and lamb qawarma. So, it's clear: The food is freshly cooked here, and even the flatbread served is homemade – simply fantastic. Everything was very clean, and not to mention the young man serving outside: very friendly, he's always there, but never too busy, and he works extremely diligently and with great kindness. I'm absolutely thrilled. Keep up the good work, and I wish you continued success!

I was here with my family for my birthday, and I have to say it was truly perfect. Not just the food, but also the ambiance right on the Rhine and the service. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Syrian food experience I’ve had in Germany. Most of the appetizers were canned, simply opened and served on plates with no taste at all. I ordered a dorade fish, which came without any seasoning, black in color, looking like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time. It was of the lowest quality, full of bones in an unnatural way. Not recommended at all.

We were at Aleppo with a group of 12 people. I had made a reservation in advance and got a table by the window. The staff was very attentive, and the food was served promptly. The quality and taste of the dishes were excellent. The Syrian Arabic cuisine also offers a wide selection for the vegetarians among us. The menu also offered a red, white, and rosé wine. These were the only weak points, as the red wine was unfortunately undrinkable and the white wine was just "okay." We would happily return to Aleppo, but then we'll also have Arabic drinks: ayran or tea. By the way, the restaurant has a lovely terrace overlooking the Rhine. The ambiance inside, however, seems a bit dated.

Last night, I was with five people on the terrace at Aleppo Rose. The spot was perfect, with a fantastic view of the Rhine. The chicken qawarma was particularly delicious – tender and flavorful! The service was friendly and prompt. An all-around successful evening. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant and the food is excellent and tasty

The location is obviously great in the summer, but we had to wait over 45 minutes just to order drinks. The food and drinks arrived within another 15 minutes. However, the menu was very confusing, vague, and incorrect. It stated at the top of the menu that "all" main courses come with side dishes such as potatoes, rice, vegetables, etc., but this wasn't the case. When I asked, I was told that this apparently wasn't the case for "all" main courses, but only for a few. When I ordered, I strongly assumed that this was true, based on the information on the menu and the price. Also, with one dish, a side dish, which was even listed underneath the dish, was not included, and they stated that it was "always prepared this way." The food itself was good, but due to my less than positive experience, I wouldn't really recommend the restaurant unless you're aware of the potentially long wait and the incorrect menu. The ambiance is very good, and the staff were friendly as well.

A Syrian restaurant right on the Rhine with excellent cuisine and a lovely riverside ambiance. The service was a bit overwhelmed – one waiter for almost 20 tables, which can't be good. Some guests had to wait for an extremely long time. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit because you can sit outside in a pleasant atmosphere near the Rhine, and the food is really good.

Very delicious food. The grilled platter was perfect. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was quite long. Our order seemed to have been lost. Instead, we were served free bread and dips. So, it was a charming and not tragic solution. I would eat here again anytime.

The vegetarian/vegan dishes are so delicious, as is the meat. Hummus, falafel, mutabbal, and lamb skewers are all great.

Very nice place and welcoming staff, they welcomed me despite arriving 25 minutes before closing time, delicious food and very oriental. I highly recommend it. A wonderful, elegant restaurant, and the staff are very nice. They received me shortly, even though there were 25 minutes left until closing, and they made my order quickly. A beautiful Arabic atmosphere, delicious food, and an excellent location.. Definitely worth a visit.

After entering this restaurant we were really very positively surprised, we received a very friendly welcome and felt very comfortable there. Unfortunately our order from Aleppo Rose was a huge disappointment. Delivery time was stated to be 25-45 minutes, but we ended up having to wait over 90 minutes. The food arrived cold and did not correspond to our order: instead of rice as stated, both dishes were delivered with soggy fries. The quality of the food was so poor that it was inedible for us. We declined an offer to re-deliver - we didn't want to eat from this restaurant again after this experience. What was particularly annoying was the attempt to make us believe that rice had been delivered, even though we had photo evidence of the fries delivered. Overall, absolutely disappointing - we expect a refund and will not order from here again.

Very nice Syrian restaurant, perfect ambiance and location, right on the river in the center of Bonn. Very tasty Syrian dishes, large portions. Desserts were very tasty and freshly made. Drinks were beautifully served with fresh mint, beer with raspberry juice, and a large glass of ayran. Everything was delicious (grilled plates and crispy menu). We ordered Arabic coffee with cardamom, but unfortunately, it was just regular coffee without cardamom. The restaurant is very nice, but there's not enough privacy; the tables are too close together, which is annoying. Service was almost exclusively in Arabic by a man; unfortunately, the woman was ignored. Everything is very clean. The prices are reasonable for this level. Unfortunately, the parking lot is very small. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

We ordered from Aleppo Rose and were absolutely thrilled! The food came very quickly and warm. We had baba ghanush, shakshuka, puff pastry rolls, hummus with meat, and eggplant and meat skewers. EVERYTHING was fantastic and we would definitely order here more often if we lived in Bonn! Absolute recommendation! :)

We just wanted to have a quick bite to eat and were thrilled. A very polite young man served us. The cappuccino was excellent!!! Nice ambience in the evening. I think, during the day and when the sun is shining, it's just great right on the Rhine with a small outdoor terrace. If I am in Bonn again, I will definitely eat there again.

After a years absence the server recognized us as the Canadians from a Lebanese community in Canada (Lac la Biche, Alberta). The food was just as we last encountered it….exceptional!!!! We had a vegetarian platter for one but it served the two of us nicely as a light supper. The server was as friendly and knowledgeable as we remember. This gem of a restaurant is only a block and a half off the busy Main Street and close to the Dorint Hotel. Highly recommended!!!
