Leider war unser Besuch im Restaurant enttäuschend. Das Essen war stark gewürzt und hatte wenig mit authentischer indischer Küche zu tun. Die Portionen waren klein, aber dafür überteuert. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig – wir mussten lange warten und fühlten uns nicht wirklich willkommen. Das Ambiente war lieblos und ungemütlich. Für uns definitiv kein zweiter Besuch wert.

We went to HaldiSpoon yesterday because of the good reviews and unfortunately we have to say that we can only understand them to a limited extent. The food: We thought the concept was great, different sauces could be combined with chicken or different meat alternatives as desired. The Naanizza also looked really interesting, but we didn't dare try it and stuck with tried-and-tested curry dishes, maybe a mistake. The dishes themselves, ordered as “medium hot”, were not remotely spicy. Maybe you should rethink your declaration, there are also categories like mild, which would have adequately described the level of spiciness. We both had the butter curry sauce, interestingly enough it tasted completely different for both of us, and it tasted much better for my (half-Indian) companion than for me. Where that came from remained a mystery to us. Unfortunately, the mango lassi I had was absolutely bland, with lumps and little mango flavor. I can't recommend it. Overall, the taste was mediocre for us at best. About the staff: The young woman who greeted us should urgently look for another job because her current one is obviously making her very unhappy. She was far from the warmth described in the other reviews, but instead exuded a bad mood and displeasure. Perhaps it has to be said that we were there spontaneously and didn't have a reservation, which is understandably difficult given the size of the restaurant. We were then seated at a table of four with two other guests, which was completely okay (for us, I can't speak for the others ;-)). Tables for two became available relatively quickly, so we asked if we could move around. The waitress wanted to check whether there was a reservation; But we never got the information; newly arrived guests were simply placed there. Since there were quite a few changes while we were there, it seems unlikely that everyone else had reservations. But even if so, an information that unfortunately this is not possible would have been polite and appropriate. The icing on the cake, however, was that she sprayed the second half of the table with disinfectant since the people sitting next to us were finished, while we were logically still sitting next to it and also had food in front of us. As much as I'm in favor of using disinfectants, that's just not possible. Overall, a rather disappointing stay, but luckily there are plenty of alternatives in Cologne.

Best restaurant in the town and around..... sheer culinary delight. Fantastic aromatic orgasmic...

Everything was great and top service

Super delicious food and incredibly beautiful ambience. But there is a lot of choice and very nice staff.

A large, nicely furnished restaurant with extremely friendly service. Only the Indian food is more German-Indian. Probably adapted to the guests, there were a lot of older people there at the weekend. But it was really nice to hear and see how these regular guests were warmly welcomed and shown to the tables, there was small talk from the waiter who knew many of the guests. As a pensioner you feel comfortable there and I can understand the good reviews. I only got the 3 points because the food really wasn't Indian but rather neutrally seasoned.

Very tasty samosas. Fresh herbs and spices. We'll try other delicacies as well.

Amazing food and I have been eating or ordering food for past 2 years, and the taste was always the best. My personal preference are the paneer tikka masala n Veg Manchuria . Rather than food is the service is what makes things even better.

It was quite different from other restaurants. The taste, dishes and atmosphere was very nice. I hope they open it soon once again.

I ate the first few spoonfuls of the dish, then I wasn't hungry and I threw up a few hours later. I can only advise against it

Very friendly, extremely attentive, and fast service. A great, cozy atmosphere and great food. Definitely my Indian restaurant of choice.

Ich habe wenige Lieblingsrestauranten in Berlin, aber Tschüsch ist eins. Das Essen ist Kreativ und schmackhaft, und die Stimmung ist toll - - es ist klar, dass das Restaurant Tschüsch aus Liebe geboren ist. No tengo muchos restaurantes favoritos en Berlín, pero Tschüsch es uno. La comida es creativa y deliciosa, y el ambiente es genial - - me parece claro que este restaurante fue creado por amor. Se nota que cada pequeño detalle está pensado. Tienen una buena combinación de comida india (más sabrosa que auténtica, que está bien para mí) y standbies europeos. No estoy seguro de si todavía tienen la mousse de chocolate vegana -yo la tuve hace años-, pero aún la recuerdo, simplemente celestial. Hace poco tuve un curry y fue genial. Recomendado.

Very large selection of food and drinks. The food was very tasty and the waiters were all very friendly.

Tried Lamm Josh and it was authentic Indian lamm with indian spices!
