I'm really sorry to say this, but that was the worst Indian food I've ever had. It barely tasted of anything. The place wasn't clean either; there were sauce splatters on the wood paneling next to me. I think they were playing music from an unpaid Spotify account, because there were constant ads. I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant before! 😄 The restrooms smelled awful... more like a train station toilet. The service was friendly, though, so I'm sorry about the rating. But someone has to tell the truth. I absolutely don't understand the current 4.9-star rating here.

It seems there have been some staff changes in the kitchen and service in recent weeks. This was our second visit under this new management, as we wanted to give the restaurant a chance. However, we found again today that the food no longer met the previous standard and didn't taste as good. Unfortunately, the staff speaks very poor German, which leads to misunderstandings, and clearing the table while we're still eating is completely unacceptable. We'll give it a third chance, but if things continue this way, we'll unfortunately have to find a new Indian restaurant.

The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We were there in the evening, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The only downside was that the drinks took quite a while to arrive.

Each dish was unique and different, so there was no standard mix for all dishes. Very attentive staff. Suitable for children; the chicken nuggets were soft and delicious. Would gladly return!

A beautiful Indian restaurant in the heart of Kirchheim. An incredible selection and incomparable taste. They cater to allergies and intolerances, making every effort to accommodate them. And finally, the spicy food is truly spicy. We are all incredibly satisfied and are already looking forward to packing our leftovers. Thank you so much!

We were there for the first time today and had a truly lovely evening! One highlight followed another. We had a starter that was absolutely sufficient for us (two adults and two children). Three different sauces were served with the starter. For the main course, we each had a different dish, all of which were really delicious. I would describe our dishes as mild, which was really good considering we were there with children. The naan bread was also very tasty and I highly recommend it. When paying, I casually and without any ulterior motive mentioned that it was my birthday. Then there was a surprise. I hadn't expected that at all. We and the kids also received a small yogurt-like drink with a sweet heart on it. As I said, one highlight followed another, and we were completely blown away. Great food, great service and incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic! We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back!

The value for money is excellent; in my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant for miles around. I can recommend it without reservation.

We always enjoy coming back. The staff is friendly and speaks German very well, so special requests or inquiries are no problem. The food is delicious and wonderfully seasoned. The spiciness of most dishes can be adjusted so they won't overwhelm European palates.

It was truly delicious! I would definitely go again. The food was beautifully presented (see pictures) and plentiful, too. You could even order more rice (probably for free), so it's plenty even for those who are very hungry. The service was calm and not pushy, so it wasn't overly demanding. A very authentic Indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, just the way you like to eat. The food is really good, and you can even adjust the proportions to your liking (rice to sauce). The ambiance is quite dark, so despite the many colors, it's not overstimulating (which is always important to me personally), and the music is mostly Indian and never too loud, so you can even have a conversation at a normal volume. All in all, a very nice restaurant for eating and relaxing.

We were here for a date. Booking online was very easy. The table was decorated for us with roses and a candle. The food was delicious, even suitable for beginners to Indian cuisine. They also included a free shot of schnapps. We left full and satisfied.

I've eaten at Swagat several times and tried my way through the extensive menu: So far, I've found all the dishes to be very tasty, the bread excellent, and the portions generous, so much so that I've occasionally had to ask for a wrap, which is no problem. I particularly love the Chicken Tandoori Garlic and the Palak dishes (spinach curry), which I highly recommend. The service is very friendly, always fast and precise, and the prices are reasonable. Whenever I'm craving Indian cuisine, this is definitely my favorite place in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.

We usually order the Trio Swagat Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Samosa, Masala Lassi, Chicken Pakora, and many more dishes—everything is just amazing! The flavors are authentic and always delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. We've recommended this restaurant to several friends, and they all felt the same way. Highly recommended if you're craving great Indian food.

Tip: duck is great or a dish from the tandoori menu and a homemade lemonade :) We also recommend downloading the map beforehand so that you can have a look at it... Because it's huge!
