Fantastisches indisches Essen und sehr guter Service

Das Essen war sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet!!! Ein weiterer Besuch dort wird auf jeden Fall folgen!

Tolles Lokal – authentische indische Küche. Wer es scharf mag, kann danach fragen, ansonsten ist sie dem lokalen Geschmack angepasst. Das Knoblauch-Naan war auch super.

Man wartet ein bisschen lange auf das Essen. Aber das ist wirklich toll!! Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren dort sehr zufrieden,nur darf man nicht bei der Schärfe Stufe 3 Bestellen.

Das indische Restaurant Swagat in Kirchheim unter Teck überzeugt mit tollem Service und einem super Ambiente. Insgesamt war wirklich alles top. Der einzige Schwachpunkt war das Tandoori. Es war leider etwas ungesalzen, ein bisschen geschmacklos und für meinen Geschmack nicht scharf genug. Wer es traditionell würzig mag, sollte das bei der Bestellung erwähnen. Ansonsten ist das Restaurant absolut empfehlenswert.

Erstklassiges und köstliches Essen. Ich würde gerne wieder dorthin gehen.

Swagat war für uns genau die Art von indischem Restaurant, bei der man merkt, dass mit Liebe und Erfahrung gekocht wird. Die Gerichte hatten Tiefe, Wärme und richtig schöne Gewürznoten, ohne einfach nur „scharf“ zu sein. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Peshwari Naan – wunderbar weich, großzügig gefüllt und wirklich richtig lecker. Auch die Auswahl war beeindruckend, mit ungefähr zehn verschiedenen Naan-Varianten zur Auswahl. Wir hatten unter anderem Chicken Korma, ein Okra-Gericht, Dhal, Raita, Papadom und das Chicken Bengal Jalfrezi Inferno. Alles wirkte frisch, aromatisch und angenehm abgestimmt. Gerade die Kombination aus cremigen, milden Gerichten und kräftigeren Currys machte das Essen besonders gemütlich und authentisch. Wir waren bereits in einigen wirklich authentischen indischen Restaurants außerhalb Deutschlands essen und kennen daher die „echten“ Aromen und Gewürze, die nicht komplett an europäische Geschmäcker angepasst wurden. Genau deshalb hat uns Swagat positiv überrascht – die Gerichte hatten Charakter, echte Würze und wirkten nicht langweilig oder „verwässert“. Auch der Service war wirklich herzlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Man fühlte sich ehrlich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Praktisch fanden wir außerdem die Parksituation – in der Nähe beim KiK kann man beispielsweise bis zu zwei Stunden parken. Eine schöne, entspannte Atmosphäre und definitiv ein Restaurant, zu dem wir gerne wiederkommen würden.

Ich muss meine Bestellung leider korrigieren. Am Meinem Geburtstag ging ich mit meiner Familie zu Swagat und bestellte wie immer Chicken Tikka Masala. Dieses Mal hat es irgendwie fade geschmeckt und anfangs dachte ich mir nichts aber am nächsten Tag ging es los. Ich hatte zwei Tage lang den schlimmsten Dünschiss und die schlimmsten Bauchschmerzen meines Lebens und konnte nichts essen. Das ist jetzt schon ein paar Monate her und seitdem bin nicht mehr gekommen. Ich würde gerne wieder Chicken Tikka masala essen aber habe gefühlt ein Trauma davon jetzt.

Wir hatten das Tandoori Chicken und es war hervorragend: perfekt mariniert, wunderbar saftig und mit genau der richtigen Würze aus dem Tandoor. Sehr aromatisch und authentisch zubereitet. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente gemütlich. Insgesamt ein tolles indisches Restaurant in Kirchheim unter Teck mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr gute indische Küche, war alles sehr lecker. Freundliche Bedienung und passendes sauberes Ambiente, alles sehr ruhig und nicht so laut & hektisch wie ich es von anderen indischen Lokalen kenne. Wir haben für 2 Vorspeisen, 4 Hauptgerichte und 7 Getränke zusammen für 4 Personen rd. 115 € bezahlt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder.

Wirklich authentisches indisches Essen. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die farbenfrohe Dekoration des Restaurants trägt ebenfalls zum authentischen indischen Flair bei.

Service war etwas unkordiniert. Doch laut Freuden fehlt heute eine wichtige Servicekraft. Normalerweise ist es wohl besser.

Es tut mir echt leid, das zu sagen, aber das war das schlechteste indische Essen, das ich je hatte. Es hat kaum nach was geschmeckt. Gut geputzt war auch nicht, neben mir an der Wand am Holz waren Soßenspritzer. Es lief glaub ich Musik von einem unbezahlbalten Spotify Account, jedenfalls kam dauernd Werbung. Sowas hab ich auch noch nicht erlebt in einem Restaurant 😄 Auf den Toiletten hat es so krass gestunken.. Eher wie ein Bahnhofsklo. Der Service war aber nett und deshalb tut mir die Bewertung leid. Aber irgendjemand muss ja die Wahrheit sagen. Die aktuelle Bewertung hier von 4,9 Sternen verstehe ich absolut nicht.

It seems there have been some staff changes in the kitchen and service in recent weeks. This was our second visit under this new management, as we wanted to give the restaurant a chance. However, we found again today that the food no longer met the previous standard and didn't taste as good. Unfortunately, the staff speaks very poor German, which leads to misunderstandings, and clearing the table while we're still eating is completely unacceptable. We'll give it a third chance, but if things continue this way, we'll unfortunately have to find a new Indian restaurant.

We were there for the first time today and had a truly lovely evening! One highlight followed another. We had a starter that was absolutely sufficient for us (two adults and two children). Three different sauces were served with the starter. For the main course, we each had a different dish, all of which were really delicious. I would describe our dishes as mild, which was really good considering we were there with children. The naan bread was also very tasty and I highly recommend it. When paying, I casually and without any ulterior motive mentioned that it was my birthday. Then there was a surprise. I hadn't expected that at all. We and the kids also received a small yogurt-like drink with a sweet heart on it. As I said, one highlight followed another, and we were completely blown away. Great food, great service and incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic! We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back!

It was truly delicious! I would definitely go again. The food was beautifully presented (see pictures) and plentiful, too. You could even order more rice (probably for free), so it's plenty even for those who are very hungry. The service was calm and not pushy, so it wasn't overly demanding. A very authentic Indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, just the way you like to eat. The food is really good, and you can even adjust the proportions to your liking (rice to sauce). The ambiance is quite dark, so despite the many colors, it's not overstimulating (which is always important to me personally), and the music is mostly Indian and never too loud, so you can even have a conversation at a normal volume. All in all, a very nice restaurant for eating and relaxing.

I've eaten at Swagat several times and tried my way through the extensive menu: So far, I've found all the dishes to be very tasty, the bread excellent, and the portions generous, so much so that I've occasionally had to ask for a wrap, which is no problem. I particularly love the Chicken Tandoori Garlic and the Palak dishes (spinach curry), which I highly recommend. The service is very friendly, always fast and precise, and the prices are reasonable. Whenever I'm craving Indian cuisine, this is definitely my favorite place in Stuttgart and the surrounding area.

We were here for a date. Booking online was very easy. The table was decorated for us with roses and a candle. The food was delicious, even suitable for beginners to Indian cuisine. They also included a free shot of schnapps. We left full and satisfied.

Absolutely love this place! We visit a few times every month, and it never disappoints. We usually order the Trio Swagat Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Samosa, Masala Lassi, Chicken Pakora, and many more dishes—everything is just amazing! The flavors are authentic and always delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. We've recommended this restaurant to several friends, and they all felt the same way. Highly recommended if you're craving great Indian food.
