I was there yesterday with my girlfriend and it was amazing how good the food was. You can only praise the service, they were very friendly and helped someone who had never eaten Indian food before.

Today I was there. Very special drink cocktail I love it.

We always enjoy coming to Swagat to eat. The food is always very tasty, the service is very good and friendly and the ambience is very appealing compared to the Indian restaurants we have visited so far.

Twice in a short time: The real, authentic top Indian far and wide. And probably one of the best restaurants in Kirchheim.

I always enjoy eating at Swagat. The food is sumptuous and super tasty! The young lady who served us last time is also very friendly and will give you good advice if you don't know exactly what to order from the enormous selection. Full marks and big recommendation!

The jalfrezi was listed as very spicy and it did not disappoint. Incredibly spicy but incredibly flavorful. Nice warm light makes for a relaxed atmosphere. I do wish their lassi was served colder.

For us one of the best Indian restaurants in the region! The fact that it apparently belongs to the same operator as Ganesha, which is within walking distance, doesn't detract from the whole thing. On the contrary, there is also a wide selection of Indian dishes with and without meat in selectable levels of spiciness, delicious bread and attentive service. The comparatively more modern ambience also sets Swagat apart from many other Indians. There was nothing to complain about in terms of price either. Keep it up, all the best and see you next time!

A small star deduction for the service because we didn't get any new drinks without asking. (If the glass at the table is empty, please ask). I'd love to come back and continue trying out the menu.

During my business stays in India I really enjoy the food, which of course makes me compare it with the German Indian restaurant. Most restaurants are of course geared towards European habits. What an excellent service!!! We stumbled upon this place simply because it was across from our AirBnb and we decided to try it out – boy were we pleasantly surprised! They have a great lunch menu (soup, main dish and desert) with very affordable prices, big and tasty portions. Even though we were four and we ordered two lunch menus and one main dish, the waiter was nice enough to bring us 4 soups and 4 deserts. If that wasn’t enough, he also treated us to 4 espressos afterwards. If you ever find yourself in Kirchheim, don’t miss out on this place!

The food was very good, unfortunately the service was not. We would definitely have eaten a lot more, but unfortunately there was no cellar for us.

Very tasty food! Delicately seasoned, you can taste many nuances. No one size fits all. The rice was perfect, not a bit sticky, every grain could have been eaten individually. The spiciness of the Madras was good, for someone who likes spicy. And yet it didn't numb your taste buds. Shrimp were really thick, crunchy and not at all overcooked. The waitresses were very friendly, in a good mood, and seemed to enjoy their job. Unfortunately, it is no longer a given. In terms of price, the whole thing was really impressive, very good price-performance ratio. We will definitely stop there again.
