I was there yesterday and had duck with basmati rice and curry. It was fantastic. I particularly like the very friendly service.

I love the food and starters- Bombay potatoes & samosas are perfect for snacks. I also like their range of vegetarian main course dishes. My personal favourite is Paneer Lababdar. In Desserts my standard order is Ganesha Paradise (3 desserts in one plate) all are awesome and worth having. Service is great, very hospitable and cozy environment. Good staff and 5 star rating.

This restaurant more than deserves its 5 stars. My boyfriend and I come here almost every week because the food is simply so incredibly delicious. The food comes super quickly, you don't have to wait long at all, and it's served very nicely. The staff are also really friendly. This restaurant is by far the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.

Favorite restaurant for many years 💖 Everyone there is incredibly nice, and the food is absolutely fantastic and relatively inexpensive! The portions are generous and lovingly prepared. We had the vegetarian Chef Platter as a starter, Kofta Masala as a main course, and the Ganesha dessert for dessert. I highly recommend all of them 👍👍👍

My wife and I are regular customers. This is the best Indian food in the area, and I've been everywhere, even in the Stuttgart area. Ganesha is the absolute number one in terms of quality and taste.

There were five of us at the restaurant and we had an all-around fantastic evening! The ambiance is super cozy and stylish – you immediately feel at home. The food was simply fantastic: a huge selection of delicious dishes, all freshly prepared and very tastefully. The desserts were also fantastic! The service was perfect – friendly, attentive, and quick. The portions are more than generous. The value for money is simply fantastic. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

I've eaten at this restaurant in Kirchheim twice so far. The first time, the food was a good 4 stars by local standards and worth a return visit. The second time (a Tuesday) must have been an uncharacteristically bad day for the kitchen and staff. Uninspired, unfresh, and it tasted like a bad mood in the kitchen. I had only the perfectly seasoned palak paneer and a bit of butter naan (fatty, but completely without the scent of butter or ghee), along with some unpalatable dal. The breading didn't have a cheesy taste, but it was obviously old and seemed crumbly when thawed. For a few hours, I frequently had unpleasant, cabbage-like burps (I hadn't ordered cabbage and didn't notice any mustard leaves in the blended palak). My girlfriend made an emergency run to the bathroom at home (basically mixed tandoori, a bit of clove rice (I only smelled it myself to determine its quality, or perhaps its basmati flavor), and I think a pseudo-Indian run-of-the-mill soup). It was an emergency, but it remained a one-off. My male counterpart complained the next day of a particularly bad night, stemming from his stomach (he ate everything, including a lot from a mixed appetizer platter with a high fried ingredient). He loves Indian cuisine for Sunday dinner and was born in India. I think that Ganesha's kitchen can generally deliver truly decent and wholesome Indian food in the Punjabi or Mughal style. I have no idea what was preventing that from happening on that Tuesday. For context: I have also been eating in Indian restaurant kitchens in Asia, Africa, and Europe for over 50 years.

Always good, but also rated again and again. If anyone complains about the food at Ganesha, they probably just chose the wrong dish. In any case, I mostly enjoyed it and the selection on the menu is large.

Ate purely vegetarian food. Was delicious. The selection here is relatively small - like in many restaurants if you don't eat meat.

All in all, a good restaurant and reasonably priced. Parking spaces are limited, so you should allow time beforehand. The waitresses are friendly, there is a lot of activity and you are always served by different members of the service staff, which I find a bit confusing at times. The food is very tasty and there is everything from vegetarian food to meat from mild to spicy. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant and I will go there again. What was missing for 5 stars? Maybe just a permanent service person as a contact person, then it will definitely work with the 5 stars ☺️.

Today we spontaneously decided on Indian and are absolutely thrilled. We had the menu for 2 and ate it so deliciously. No matter what starter, main course or dessert, it was bombastically delicious...I had the feeling that my taste buds were dancing more intensely than in a Bollywood film...such delicious combinations of spices, just perfect, service and the ambience was really great too. Our wishes were taken into account and we were allowed to take everything with us that we could no longer eat...even the delicious sauces extra...so a clear recommendation and would happily come back....

I visited the restaurant for the second time ever on February 14th. Before that the restaurant was at full capacity. The service was correspondingly difficult. We only received a Sarti Spritz after about 30 minutes and asking four times from 3 different waiters. The food itself is impeccable in my opinion. Portions are large and the food tastes really, really good. From the starter to the main course, everything was excellent. The clearing up was a bit hasty, which resulted in a spoon falling out of the rice pot. Accordingly, the rice was spread generously on the table, which isn't a bad thing at first. The problem, however, was that the table was neither cleaned nor completely cleared away. Nothing else happened until we paid. All of this is probably due to the high workload and the corresponding stress. Still recommended because the quality is right.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! After a spontaneous reservation on a Friday evening, even though the restaurant was busy, we got a table for two. Although they were moved before the food arrived (from a table of two to four), there were also two extremely delicious desserts on the house. But now to eat. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The food came to the table sizzling and was simply delicious. The portions are a good size so you could eat again the day after. The staff was also professional and nice.

December 13th, 2024: from 4 to 5 stars! I did it again and it was very good. Delicious food and great feeling. I won't wait another 5 years until the next time. Now I just like it. And after 5 years. Still a good impression. No wonder, all the seats are taken and it's full here. 5 years ago: I don't like Indian food and I won't be eating Indian food anytime soon. My friends forced me and I have to admit the store makes a very good impression. I even liked some of the food. Obviously this is a good restaurant even if it's not to my taste.

Very good Indian. Tandori dishes and naan in particular are very tasty. Good portion size. If you have a starter (which is highly recommended), it is better to take a Tupperware box with you for the next day.

Addendum 2024 From 3 to 5 stars Was wonderful 2021: I have been to many Indian restaurants in the Stuttgart area. This one is one of the good ones. However, it is not enough for 5 stars. Unfortunately, the chicken in the curry isn't particularly good. In addition, re-ordered rice costs extra (this is the first time this has happened to me with an Indian). For me personally, the starter for two is simply too expensive for the selection on the plate. It would have been 5 stars if the shop had been a snack bar with moderate food Prices would have been, but the shop is a restaurant, so everything has to be right when it comes to prices.

My family and I have been going here regularly for the past few years and have never been disappointed. The waiting time for food has improved a lot since we first went there, but honestly, even long waiting times are worth it, the food makes up for everything. There are awesome vegetarian options as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy that much was that the music was a tiny bit too loud, but they lowered the volume after we asked them to. I recommend this place!

Delicious max. Unlike some Indian restaurants each and every dish tastes different.

No lie, I've walked past this restaurant countless times and never thought it could be anything special. But I found out through friends that it was probably a good Indian restaurant - and that's a total understatement. It really is by far the best restaurant in the entire Kirchheim-Unterteck region! The food is incredibly tasty and at the same time affordable. If you come from the area, you should definitely eat here. The dishes that are prepared with so much love are particularly impressive - like the meat, which is cooked for 24 hours in a special oven. It's a real taste experience!

Now our regular restaurant! We go there on Thursday evenings almost every week and have never been disappointed! Very good food with plenty of choice and the staff is excellent, friendly, courteous and professional. We already know each other and are often greeted with a handshake! I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good Indian food in the region! You'll never go hungry there! See you next week and thank you! :)

Recently new furniture furnishings. So far, we have always been able to get a place, both with and without a reservation. However, a reservation is recommended on weekends or public holidays. The best Indian restaurant i had ever visited in Germany. The food is yummy!! . The service is amazing and friendly the suggestions made by the staff was worth it.. You have a variety of food including chicken with bone(Lollipop, if someone's interested 😁). It's a luxury to find chicken with bones at Indian restaurants in Germany, hence the excitement.

It was my first time eating Indian food and I was pleasantly surprised. Since we were there with 6 people, I also had the opportunity to try different dishes, ok, not everything was to my taste but overall you could eat all of it. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff do a very good job and were always friendly, helpful and available to give advice and support without being intrusive. Conclusion: I can recommend it without hesitation and I will definitely go there again.

We were there for lunch with five people - everyone was very happy! The service was very friendly and quick, the atmosphere was appealing.

Have been there many times over several years and the food is always top notch, the service is friendly, and I highly recommend it. Likewise their second Indian restaurant “Swagat” in Kirchheim. Today the chef made a mistake and put chicken meat in the curry instead of vegetarian cheese as ordered. Not bad for me, I'm not a vegetarian. After telling the waiter, I got the vegetarian dish prepared again to take away as well as dessert for us for free and both without being asked and apologizing, so even if there were mistakes, top behavior!! We will definitely be back in the next few years!

We get our food here every Sunday and there have never been any problems and it has always been delicious. Absolute recommendation.

Very good Indian restaurant in Kirchheim. Authentic ambience and excellent food are combined here with friendly and courteous staff. I've eaten here three times now and always ordered the butter chicken. This comes in a small pot and is served with a portion of steamed rice. Every time I've been here so far, after I've finished the rice, I've been asked if I wanted more rice. This was possible at no additional cost. The mango lassi is also a very good accompaniment to the meal. I will continue to visit this location in the future to enjoy the good food!

Superb food with best service and amazing place to try delicious Indian food

This is not authentic Indian restaurant but runned by other asian people...there is no good treatment to Indian or South east Asian people as a customer as compared to Germans or European people..we had to wait for more then an hour for our order having said there was no huge rush but at the same time they were very hospitables to Germans , we were with small kids and very hungry in late cold night and we keep on insisting for food which we ordered. The food is very average if you compare to the rest of the Indian Restaurants in Stuttgart.

Wir waren schon öfters im Ganesha und das Essen und der Service waren immer sehr gut in einer schönen Atmosphäre. Können wir nur weiter empfehlen.

Es gibt eine große Speisekarte mit vielen verschiedenen Curry, die meisten auch vegan möglich. Ich hatte das vegane Kofta Vindalho Curry, was mir persönlich etwas zu würzig war. Von der Schärfe her, war es gut zu essen (leicht scharf), hätte gerne noch schärfer sein dürfen. Beim nächsten mal werde ich etwas anderes probieren.

Wir holen gerner das Essen ab. Das Restaurant ist nicht so meins. Ich mag Restaurants nicht wo Teppiche drin sind. Weil die einfach nach einiger Zeit schmuddelig aussehen.

Superb authentic Indian taste, great ambiance, down to earth owner and staff. We ordered Dal Makhni, Paneer Kadhai and butter nan, I would say, Dal Makhni, one of the best till date we tried in Germany. We will come back again. And I would highly recommend others too.

Habe dieses Restaurant bereits sehr häufig besucht und kann nur Gutes berichten! Die Kellner sind sehr zuvorkommend, engagiert, aufmerksam und stets zur Stelle wenn man noch etwas benötigt. Das Ambiente ist toll, vor allem sitze ich gerne auf der großzügigen Terasse. Das Essen ist einfach sehr authentisch und köstlich zubereitet, habe mich inzwischen durch die genial aufgestellte Karte probiert und alle Gerichte sind klar zu empfehlen. Ebenso die Getränke, vor allem die Hausspezialitäten. Zum Mitnehmen sind die Portionen gefühlt noch üppiger. Bei Missgeschicken, die nunmal jedem passieren, sind die Kellner ebensfalls sehr entgegenkommend und sprechen mit einem ab, wie man es gerne "korrigiert" hätte. Die Preis-Leistung ist für die heutigen Verhältnisse mehr als zufriedenstellend!

Wir kommen regelmäßig her oder bestellen auch gerne mal zum Abholen. Das Essen ist super lecker und es sind alle immer freundlich. Das Ambiente ist super angenehm, dass man gemütlich zusammen sitzen und essen kann. Bei Fragen werden Gerichte nett erklärt und auch empfohlen. Für mich persönlich ist die große Menge an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten das Highlight, das ist in der Gegend in dieser Qualität nicht immer einfach zu finden. Wer abends geht sollte am Besten reservieren, es ist oft voll.

Im Rahmen einer Durchreise bin ich auf dieses indische Restaurant gestoßen. Das Ambiente im Ladenlokal ist sehr ansprechend und es wirkt alles sehr gemütlich. Für 9,90 € gibt es Mittags Menüs, die mit einer Suppe serviert werden werden und einem kleinen Mango Dessert. Das Essen war ausgesprochen gut, und alles wirkte sehr hochwertig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man wurde herzlich begrüßt. Geschmacklich wirklich 1A und somit uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Als Stammgäste waren wir schon einige Male hier zum Essen. Immer wurden wir gut bedient und das Essen war hervorragend. Heute hatten wir eine leibe Reklamation bei einem Essen. Diese wurde äußerst kulant behandelt und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit abgewickelt. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.
