Very nice employees! The atmosphere is so friendly, welcoming and warm. I was excited about that alone! But when she came with the grill menu and even showed me the vegan option made from soy, I was even more excited! I knew that I would have vegetable options, but I was very surprised that they also had a vegan grill plate. I ordered that too, and it was beautifully prepared, was still sizzling and sizzling when it arrived, and the taste was amazing!! Considering it's not a restaurant that specializes in vegan food, I was even more surprised that it was so, so good! Everything harmonized perfectly, the vegetables were delicious, the sauce that came with it had just the right amount of spiciness (you'll be asked at the beginning how spicy you want it) and the grilled soy "imitation meat" was so tender and had really great flavor Grill aroma. And the drinks were also delicious, I ordered an Ipanema and it was very tasty. I bought my husband a Garlic Naan and brought it with me, and it was incredibly tasty too. More garlic wouldn't have been possible, but that's what made it so delicious! From now on, if I'm in the mood for Indian food, that's where I'll go! Highly recommended

I and one other person ate at Holi again on September 8th, 24, as I already knew this restaurant from a previous visit, we were not disappointed! The food was very, very tasty, the prices were completely reasonable and the very nice staff... that's how it has to be, you'll be happy to go back here! So if you love food outside of Italian, Greek, Turkish, Chinese etc...this is the place for you! Just don't expect a kitschy Indian restaurant in tourist tinnef style ;-)

The food is good and people always ask how spicy it can be. The service needs improvement as we had to wait a long time for the drinks as the staff chatted extensively during the process. Too bad. But I think it's different otherwise. We will definitely come back.

Impressed with the delicious dishes in the Thali non veg menu. I've read and heard a lot of great things about the place and I completely understand why that is the case. Pretty furnishings in an otherwise rather inconspicuous room but very lovingly, modern and yet traditionally furnished. Every dish that came out smelled incredibly good and made me want to try it. Therefore we also took the thali menu with meat. We were so excited! And will definitely come again :)

I ordered based on positive reviews on Google, but I’m shocked how both mango lassi and butter chicken are like pure liquid sugar: I didn’t know butter chicken could be sugary (is this made with tomatoes ketchup?); and I’ve never had a mango (which already has more than plenty of natural sugar) lassi with this much added sugar. I’m extremely against wasting food, but will unfortunately have to throw them away.

Good and authentic Indian restaurant. Can highly recommend the No. 61 Lamb Sizzler. A really tasty, spicy and absolutely harmonious dish. My expectations were exceeded. By the way, the naan bread is also great. We'll be back... :-)

Holi was more than worth the trip - it was beautifully decorated, had great music and a lovely ambience and our server on Saturday night was so friendly and fast. The food was miles ahead of any other Indian food I’ve had in Cologne. We particularly loved the Ghobi-Pakora, which were so crispy, the Bombay Lamb and the light-as-air Naan bread. We’ll definitely be back!!

I have enjoyed eating there for years and also enjoy having food delivered from there. If necessary, you can order all dishes in different levels of spiciness🔥 which, as a fan of spiciness, I like to do. The service is always friendly and very attentive. The best Indian on this side of the Rhine! There are also many vegetarian and vegan dishes.

August 2023: I ordered the Chicken Pakoras for starters, followed by the Chicken Kadai with rice. Chicken Pakoras were 10/10. The batter was extremely tasty and the chicken was spiced to perfection. I just wish I ordered another portion. The Chicken Kadai is probably the best curry I have ever had. By far, hands down, beats any curry I have had back in the UK. Whilst only medium spice, it had the perfect amount of kick. Chicken was plentiful, as was veg. Service in Holi was QUICK. Usually we'd be waiting awhile between courses, but the service had us out the door within an hour. The staff were friendly too! Overall, every time we come to Brück, we try to come here. If possible, always try to book a table because it can get busy! Only downside is; if you are going to ask people who didn't reserve to sit outside, make sure the tables aren't sloped to one side. Update August 2024: Still the best curry and pakoras I've ever tasted :)

For me this is the best Indian cuisine far and wide. The food is extremely tasty and the lady who served us is very, very nice. The restaurant is modern and cozy. Allergens are marked on the menu, which is a plus for me as a lactose intolerant person. This restaurant is recommended. We will definitely come back again and again.

Was here very often and am now writing the review. When Holi opened it was a 10/10. However, the quality usually drops. Not on Holi. The quality of the food is a 10/10 The meat is butter tender. No matter what you eat. The service is so warm, kind and actually very entertaining. The shop is beautiful. The toilets were very clean So all in all great. Oh and the delivery service is awesome too. The things arrive super quickly. Huge portions and very hot.

Cozy Indian restaurant with delicious dishes, super friendly and friendly service. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the different dishes. With five people we had 4 different starters and 5 very different main courses, fish, lamb, chicken, cream cheese and everything tasted delicious. The dishes include delicious naan and rice. And so dessert was a rice flour ball for everyone, which was also really tasty. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

It is a very special restaurant and the food is very tasty

Yesterday we spontaneously had a craving for Indian and didn't know where to go. After a short Google query, the Holi in Cologne-Brück was recommended to us. And it was a direct hit. We ate Garlic Naan with Chicken Chana Masalla and Chicken Mango. Both dishes were super tasty. The Chicken Mango was nice and creamy and neither too mango nor too coconut heavy. The meat was on point. The Chicken Chana Masalla was also nice and saucey and, in addition to being slightly spicy, had a pleasant coriander flavor that rounded off the taste nicely. Again, the meat was on point. The Garlic Naan was a great complement to both dishes, as it was easy to dip into the sauces and at the end you could clean out all the bowls of sauce that would otherwise be thrown away. For drinks we had a mango spritzer and a mango lassi, both of which we also really enjoyed. As soon as we entered, the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant were very convincing and my initial fear that we wouldn't understand our own words due to the noisy environment was more than unfounded. The staff is also super accommodating and did a great job. We'll definitely be back.

First of all...the staff is absolutely fantastic. Refreshingly, the daily menu also offers dishes that are not the usual monotony. We had the grilled fish and it was great. The portions were almost too big for us. I'll definitely come back here.

Hello Camoli! Rarely so (!) well snubbed 😍 We were just on the way home from Cologne City to Bavaria when we had to make another detour towards Cologne Porz. Our luck, because we decided to have a quick refreshment before the several-hour journey home. There wasn't much choice for lunch, something vegetarian/vegan that wouldn't have been easy to find at a bakery, but it was even nicer when we found this beautiful Indian place. HOLI in Köln has given me the best Indian dining experience of my life! The food is incredible, with the option to choose non-spicy versions of all dishes, which is perfect for those who prefer milder flavors. The naan bread is so delicious it’s worth an extra hour in the gym. The waitress was exceptionally professional and kind, making me feel like she was the owner of the place. I will definitely come back every time I am in the area! Highly recommended!

I always wanted to come and try their cocktails, and today we finally had time to do that! I think they have the best Naan's in town, fish pakora was perfect-fresh, flavoured and not oily. Our main course was also great. I will always eat their chicken Kashmiri. Also very decent choice in mocktails. The lady that was serving our table was extremely nice, checking if everything is ok, but she also was giving us privacy. We sat outside, but from what we could see the place has a nice decor. To sum it up: perfect service, amazing food, great choice of dishes and drinks. We will bring our friends next time
