Whenever I go to Haldispoon I plan to try something new, but when I think about the butter chicken from the previous visits in the shop, unfortunately I can't choose another dish. Maybe it will work next time😂. Many greetings and see you soon

Were a little disappointed. The food is more convincing in other Indian restaurants in Cologne. The portions were a bit small, service was rather inattentive (our predecessors' empty drink bottles were left on the table until the end). The owner seemed very nice, but we weren't impressed with the food (we had butter vegetables, butter chicken (we prefer it more tomatoey) and palaak paneer).

I have never had such good Indian food. In addition to the main courses, which have a good selection but even better combination options on the menu, there is also the Naanizza, a fusion of Italian and Indian. THE HAMMER. Together with my brother, I had the aforementioned Naanizza as a starter and every “normal” Indian dish as the main course, everything was super tasty, including the typical Naan, which is included with every meal. To Scharfesser: Feel free to trust a lot, “Indian spicy” won’t kill you here. Rather a little tamer! In addition to the food, we were served in a very friendly manner and sat in a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. I can only give my warmest recommendation, would come back! To all Cologne residents: just get in there!

We received a super friendly and warm welcome and, because we weren't from Cologne and wanted to eat togo, we were advised of a location on the Rhine where we could sit down. The food itself was incredibly tasty and something completely different that we haven't seen anywhere else before. It's called Nanizza and, as the name suggests, it's a pizza made from naan with an Indian topping. In my opinion a real insider tip in the area. The best Indian restaurant in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. The food is incredibly delicious and addictive. Lots of choice and different levels of spiciness. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and makes you feel right at home. The owners and staff are very personable and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.

For all you non-German folks going here for gamescom or other events, bring cash 😂. They do not take cards but don’t let that deter you from coming as the food is bomb! Oooh and there is an ATM 2 minutes down the road at the sparkasse :)

Charming little restaurant with Indian dishes in street food style. We enjoyed the food. Vegan gluten free options available. The portions were relatively small, so I ordered 2 main courses to fill me up. At 15 euros per dish, it felt expensive in terms of price-performance ratio. Friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere despite simple furnishings. Limited selection of food and drinks, but attractive offerings. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Only cash payment accepted.

Great little Indian restaurant with a uniquely colorful atmosphere. The dishes can be combined with various sauces, vegetables, chicken, cheese or soy meat to your heart's content. IMPORTANT: The restaurant only accepts cash payment. The quality of the food is top. The dishes are served with rice and naan or alternatively as pizza. The shop is a classic family business, which creates a special atmosphere. Everyone is very welcoming. The food comes very quickly, even when the restaurant is busy.

Super authentic (as far as I can tell) Indian family business with delicious food! The Naanizza, for example, is innovative and based on Indian street style! Food is actually "Indian spicy" and a Kingfisher beer is also a nice change! And everything is possible without meat! ;-) Suggestion: include the Limca Limo in your program! :-)

Such a nice surprise... I often go to Cologne... And after mediocre experiences in Mülheim, today was a real blast. I'll be eating the map up and down from now on. Food top, service 1a, ambience great. 5 points in all areas. Come here, try it out, have fun. And all of this for a really fair price. Thanks to mom for cooking... See you... 😉😋

Never again. We ordered several different dishes that tasted the same. The food wasn't very authentic. The waitress was very unfriendly and arrogant (tall/thin/dark-skinned). NOT RECOMMENDED. There are very good Indian restaurants in Cologne. This restaurant is definitely not one of them.

Very tasty Indian food with an extraordinary concept. You can choose between some dishes in the classic version with rice or as a naan pizza. Everything can be ordered vegetarian and vegan, but there is meat. Everyone is very nice, just more seats would be great, it's a bit tight in places 😊

Eating here is like taking a short vacation to India. The atmosphere and decor of the store alone is worth a visit. The food tastes excellent and the idea of ​​serving an Indian curry on naan bread as a pizza is as simple as it is ingenious. What makes the visit perfect is the staff, who make you feel more like you are a guest at an Indian family dinner than simply in a restaurant.

Great Indian restaurant with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. A reservation is essential, especially with several people. Everyone in our group loved the food. Portions are of normal size and Kingfisher beer is also recommended. Extremely friendly service, and cash payment is indicated as the only option when making the reservation, so there are no problems at all. It's best to come by public transport, as parking spaces are extremely rare on site.

I was very euphorically told about the food, but I and a companion were not enthusiastic. Still okay, and it's great that there are enough vegetarian dishes.

Very good value for money for quite delicate, freshly cooked classics of Indian cuisine (such as Aloo Gobi, Tikka Masala, Butter, Vindaloo etc.). I think the menu concept and structure are very well done - clear and not unnecessarily, confusingly exaggerated: Basically, there are 9 classic Indian dishes that can be prepared either vegan (soy chunks or vegetable mix consisting of peppers, cauliflower and onions), vegetarian (paneer) or with meat (chicken). You also choose whether the dish should be served as a classic curry with rice and naan or as a “Naanizza” with (optionally vegan) cheese gratinated, like a pizza but on naan bread. The prices are the same for all dishes (curry €15, naanizza €12 or with vegan cheese €15). And then there are a few other paid extras such as naan (classic, garlic, cheese or vegan cheese), basmati rice, raita) with a price range between €3 - €4.50. Every week there is a special or weekly dish. In week 03 it was “Matchi Naanizza” (something with tuna for €14). The range of drinks is small and unspectacular (water, Fritz soft drinks, mango lassi, iced tea, tea & two types of beers), but the price is perfectly reasonable (e.g. 0.5l of water for €2.50). I had Aloo Gobi with soy chunks as a curry with rice and naan, as an extra Raita and to drink Fritz Orange + water (shared with my friend) and a mango lassi for dessert. Everything tasted very good, the portion size was more than enough, so that I was completely full for only €27.50 (!!). A really, really fair price. We found the service and all employees to be very friendly. The ambience is relaxed and colorful. Not really my thing, but fits the concept. It would be nice to include dessert. I recommend it without reservation. Especially vegans and vegetarians.

A very nice Indian restaurant with very tasty vegan options. The concept of the restaurant was briefly explained to us when we entered. The food came very quickly and was very tasty. There are different types of curry that you can get as Nice (pizza made from naan dough) or curry. There is a great atmosphere and the people were very accommodating.

We were there at the end of the week for the first time in a long time, although we were always thrilled - it just didn't happen... The shop is still beautiful, the owners are still incredibly friendly. But: why is the naan roll no longer available? It really was a USP that was simply eliminated without replacement. Another point of criticism last week: it's below zero outside and you don't heat! It was really freezing cold, so the food got cold very quickly and the customers left quickly. That's why we unfortunately skipped dessert. We'd love to come back, but not in winter and not without naan roll...🤷🏻‍♀️
