Small nice hotel. Very nice staff.

The food was okay... We expected something different from a Greek restaurant at those prices. The lamb skewer was inedible, half of it went back, and the vegetables were lukewarm. What a pity.

I went to dinner with my friend. He is a vegetarian. We ordered a vegan platter and one with meat. Much to our surprise, everything was served together on one plate, "because that looks prettier," as the waitress said. In response to our complaint, we were served separately again. Apparently the food was not prepared from scratch, but rather divided between two plates, as best you can with dishes with sauce. The vegan dish could no longer be described as vegan. The meat was now lukewarm to cold and therefore a bit tough. The service person when paying, now a different person, just said "whether they should have thrown the food away" and that it was "Ethiopian family tradition" and in general we would pay a lot less by making a reservation with an app. Oh well... Asking in advance whether it is okay to serve on a plate could prevent such unpleasant situations.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir mal wieder im Winkmannshof - die Erinnerung an die leckere Fischsuppe war zu verlockend. Also einen Tisch reserviert und ab zum Lokal. Um es kurz zu machen - es war wieder sehr gut. Da ich zu Beginn des Abends erwähnt hatte, dass ich wieder wegen der Fischsuppe gekommen sei und eine hohe Erwartungshaltung habe, kam es wie es kommen mußte: Nach dem Verzehr der Suppe vergewisserte sich der Koch, ob meine Erwartungen denn erfüllt worden seien - hier konnte ich mein JA mit besten Gewissen geben. Auch die folgenden Linguine mit Meeresfrüchte waren reichlich, und vor allem lecker. Meine Begleitung war genauso begeistert wie ich. Da auch das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war bleibt nur noch zu sagen: Wir kommen wieder! Und dann werde ich auch nicht vergessen, Fotos zu machen ...

Super good, super tasty, great service

The reception at the restaurant was rather underwhelming. When we entered, several guests were already waiting in the entrance area, and none of the staff was paying any attention to the arriving guests. If the restaurant hadn't had such good reviews, I would have turned around and gone somewhere else. We had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. and stood in the entrance with several other guests for 30 minutes until we were seated around 7:20 p.m. In the meantime, a server came exactly twice, first seating other guests and then, a little later and rather reluctantly, seating us. Once we got to our table, it took another 10-15 minutes before we received a menu. Once we had placed our order, the evening went much more smoothly. The pizza was delicious and the salad was also good. The server who served us was friendly and brought everything correctly.

Das Essen, die atmosphäre, der Service, das Ambiente waren ausgezeichnet. Etwas unscheinbar gelegen, aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch und auch eine weitere Anreise wert. Außergewöhnliche location, geschmacksexplosion in lockerer Atmosphäre. Danke für den wundervollen Abend.

A bit loud, which bothered me about the ambience, but otherwise nice. You could possibly do something acoustically on the ceiling.

Das Essen war lecker, der Service ziemlich daneben, da nur sporadische Besuche der männlichen Bedienung am Tisch. Der servierte Weißwein unterirdisch schlechter Geschmack, dafür ungefragt mit Eiswürfeln gepanscht. Das war alles schon mal um Längen besser!

I have eaten some exquisite Ravioli stuffed with forest mushrooms and sage.

I went yesterday to eat a first and second course, I had asked for an extra portion of parmesan for the pasta, but the waitress told me it was finished, after 5 minutes some customers sitting next to me received the pasta with parmesan, I still haven't understood why the waitress told me not to have any more parmesan, horrible!

The food was very good. For the atmosphere then indeed we were lucky enough to be in a room next door so we could hear each other talking but in the 2 large room it was impossible because of the music however this is not a criticism because apparently the people who go there go there for that reason everyone was in a very good mood it was a good evening. The service is fast, the servers are friendly.
