Good day everybody,
Since some people here are complaining that Estia has changed, I don't even know what he's talking about.
In my opinion, Estia is a great place for a great evening!
The food and service is great as always!
The menu has changed slightly - see pictures. Today we went there and tried the Asian food and it was great.
Traditional sushi, which tasted great and if you still prefer Greek food, you won't miss out here - the menu still offers Greek dishes as before!!
I can only recommend that everyone give this restaurant (one more chance) despite everything!
Ordered for the first time. Gyros Pita open, Gyros Pita closed, Gyros plate and Gyros Special. Everything was just great, tasted good, was still very hot and the fries were crispy. The meat was gristle-free and deliciously seasoned. We'll meet Again.
We went as a family. Lots of space on Sunday afternoons. The food was delicious. The lady who served us was very customer oriented and welcoming. I personally took grilled calamari and it was very tasty. I plan to come back soon.
⭐️⭐️☆☆☆
My wife and I spontaneously decided to have a Greek meal here and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the food was not convincing for us - the taste was far behind what we are used to from other Greek restaurants. We only ate about 20% of the food.
When we politely expressed criticism and asked for the bill, the boss first wanted to know what we didn't like and why. But as soon as I specifically expressed my criticism, it was completely devalued and not taken seriously. Instead of dealing with our criticism constructively, he assumed that we were only doing this to get a discount - which is absolutely not the case. His behavior clearly showed that he is not open to criticism at all.
Instead of reacting professionally, the boss even asked us to leave the restaurant. An absolute no-go for us! Criticism should be accepted and taken seriously, even if tastes differ of course. Unfortunately, dealing with us only made the impression worse. Service and communication were also below average. Of course we paid the bill in full, but I hope you consider how you deal with criticism in the future.
Overall a very disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews here. It's a shame, but definitely not recommended.
If I hadn't already heard from some people that it tasted okay, I would give it 1 star, but I think it was a Sunday, maybe there was a lot to do beforehand, etc. The Tappas platter was 90% frozen, the noodles from (I have no idea what) were dried out. The meat on the mixing plates is cold and gristly. All of us, except one who was hungry, left our plates half full because it didn't taste good. It's a shame about the already expensive food. The decor is really nice and cozy but since we were there for food there was no compensation
Absolutely overpriced. €8.50 for a tiny tuna pizza, thinly topped, and the crust tasted bad. It was truly extortionate. The fries were missing sauce, and the wait was far too long.
Not worth it!
Hello, ordered today: pork fillet with metaxa sauce, croquettes and salad
and pork fillet with champion cream sauce, croquettes and salad.
Sooo 😋 and unbeatable value for money!!!
100% recommendation👍
I can only agree with the other customers, both the gyros plate and the pita deserve my recommendation and my expectations were accordingly met. What you should know: If you are shopping spontaneously and are used to using modern means of payment, then you should have some cash with you just in case. Because even if it seems out of date, there is still a snack bar here and there that can't afford to accept a digital means of payment. In my case it would be cell phone payment, which I prefer and cannot be used here.
