We can't understand the bad reviews at all 😅.. in our opinion the price is no different than anywhere else. The portions are larger than normal and the taste is really really good. Of course, on days like weekends or public holidays you might stand for 10 minutes, but that's absolutely understandable.

We read the many negative reviews... bad food... didn't get full... unfriendly etc. WE CANNOT CONFIRM THAT! We were greeted very friendly and cheerfully (maybe some people don't understand the cheerfulness?). The small restaurant is comfortably furnished in Bulgarian style. The fact that this doesn't look like a "classy restaurant" didn't bother us in the least; on the contrary, we like it that way better. Everything was clean, that's more important to us. The food was tasty and in sufficient quantity. There were six of us there, everyone had ordered something different, from schnitzel to meat skewers, fish platters and stuffed peppers, there was a lot there, including a child-sized schnitzel. All of us were full and satisfied afterwards. The only criticism that we unfortunately really have to confirm is the comparatively very high prices, both for the food and the drinks. The financial circumstances under which a restaurant has to be run have certainly become increasingly difficult, especially in recent years, and I understand it to a certain extent. But who should pay for that???

Delicious ice cream. It looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it's delicious. €1.70 per ball is expensive but OK for the location.

Super laden, haben 1 Pizza kostenlos bekommen weil sie sich bei etwas geirrt haben. Schnelle Bedingung sehr lecker. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder. 👍🏻👍🏻

Very friendly Neapolitan sells good ice cream - can highly recommend the Raffaelo ice cream!

Ice cream tastes very good, the service was friendly. And it's relatively inexpensive too.

We were visiting on May 1st, were looking forward to a Black Forest cherry ice cream sundae with a shot, we accepted the price of over 8 euros, the plastic cup (like from GDR times) was filled without love, the shot was completely missing, the Chocolate sauce from the tube or bottle had run down two sides of the cup, overall an exorbitant price with no love for the "connoisseur", a gastronomic establishment that we will never visit again, people want to go here get rich with all your might!

Ice cream is very watery, the operator did not tap the scoop properly and a lot of water dripped into the container; a failure across the board!

Now 3 stars. Great at the beginning. Why is it now suddenly €2 more expensive? Forgot half of the topping! Pizza lukewarm. Don't ruin your business. I'm not the only one complaining.

The ice cream is very tasty, but the negative reaction of the unempathetic saleswoman when a passer-by asked if he could have some water in a cup for his dog is simply underground! The prices probably include some water for a dog. Whether a guest or not. Unbelievable!

I get ice cream from Gelato49 every now and then and I'm very satisfied every time. The Bacio and Pistachio varieties are particularly recommended - creamy, intense in taste and really high quality. The ice cream parlor is small but charming, and the offerings change regularly. A small note: Only EC cards are accepted, credit cards are generally not accepted, so it's better to take some cash with you. Overall, a great place for a little ice cream break - I'll be happy to come back and recommend it!

Very nice staff, tastes very good too

Ich war lange Zeit Kunde bei Pappas und habe, so wie bei meinem letzten Besuch, immer zwischen 80 und 100 Euro dagelassen. Mein letztes Erlebnis aber treibt mich nun zum Stand gegenüber. Nachdem ich eingekauft hatte, wollte ich mich kurz auf einen Hocker im hinteren Bereich setzen. Kaum die Stufe hoch, kam auch schon eine übereifrige Verkaufskraft kauend auf mich zu und teilte mir unverständlich mit vollem Mund mit, dass dort nur gesessen werden darf, wenn ich auch was verzehren wollte. Mit Blick auf das zerkaute Brot in Ihrem Mund, sagte ich, dass ich gerade bei einer Kollegin für 80 Euro eingekauft hätte und ich mich nur ganz kurz ausruhen wollte. In der Markthalle gibt es leider keine Sitzgelegenheiten. Weiter kauend versuchte sie mir mit vollem Mund einen Vorspeisenteller und was zu trinken aufzuschwätzen. Als ich erneut sagte, dass ich in 5 Minuten weitergehen würde, wurde ihr Ton mir gegenüber sogar noch aggressiv. Ich zog es vor zu gehen und werde bestimmt nicht wieder kommen. Pappas scheint es sich leisten zu können, so mit seinen Kunden umzuspringen. Als ich dies in meinem Freundeskreis erzählte, erfuhr ich verständnisvoll, dass man Erlebnisse gleicher Art dort auch schon gemacht hat und diesen Stand meidet. Zum Glück gibt es mehrere Stände in der Markthalle wo man freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt wird, bei mindestens gleicher Auswahl und gleicher Qualität.
