Went there today on April 10, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. and ordered 1 scoop of ice cream twice. The person on site didn't understand what I wanted from him. After several repetitions he didn't understand what I wanted and said he wasn't selling anymore and put everything away.
It's not a bad thing if you're not the brightest candle on the cake, but then I'll look for another job.
I definitely won't buy ice cream here anymore.
In this Potsdam ice cream shop you can get a scoop of ice cream for €1.50. It's decent portions, the flavors vary from time to time and it's delicious. Unfortunately the opening times are not always binding, but the rest is fine!
Pistachio ice cream tastes like marzipan and not like pistachios - a big minus, unfortunately this lack of taste was not pointed out. Just because of the higher price of the ball. Since this is usually the case, it didn't seem surprising. However, when the taste turned out to be bad, the disappointment was huge. :(
Other ice cream looked delicious, I can't rate it.
I really enjoy being there and drinking my coffee and eating my ice cream in peace. So far I have always received very friendly service. The ice cream is super tasty and the coffee is very good 😊
Delicious ice cream, friendly service and clean tables. Huge selection of ice cream flavors and variations. Price/performance good. We'd love to come back.
We were there after the carnival parade and actually wanted to eat a piece of cake and drink coffee. Two tables were still free, someone had probably thrown up at one of them, but none of the staff seemed to mind, so we sat down at the other table. I then briefly went to the toilet, but when I and another person wanted to go back into the restaurant, we were locked in the toilet. Luckily I had my cell phone with me and called my friend at the restaurant. She then told the counter and was told that the toilets were broken and there was no one there. Meanwhile, a drinks fridge had been pushed in front of the toilet door to give the impression that there were no toilets in the restaurant. After a discussion with the staff, someone was kind enough to open the door for us again. Sentences like “Why don’t you just go to the toilet here” and “We have bigger problems than checking to see if anyone is in there” were used. Later we also noticed at the next table that people were being told that there was no toilet. We then gave up the cake, paid for our coffee and left. It's understandable that it's not desirable for people outside to simply use the toilets, but simply closing them without first checking to see if anyone else is in them and then pushing a refrigerator in front of them is probably an impertinence. If I hadn't had a cell phone with me, no one would have heard us given the volume in the restaurant and then being shouted at... no thanks, then I'd rather spend my money somewhere else where I'm welcome as a guest.
