The ordering mode (direct or via QR code) is a bit confusing at first. Food, service, price/performance ratio are still good.

Now it's simply too expensive (even with increased energy prices). Many dishes are offered without side dishes - the surprise comes with the bill. If you can't manage the food and want to take the rest with you, you'll be charged for the packaging (never experienced this anywhere before). Order only impersonally via QR code

At Eigelstein you will find something delicious on the menu for both lunch and dinner. The main theme of the restaurant is Rhenish cuisine and there is a very good selection of local dishes, especially on the evening menu. On the other hand, the lunch menu is disappointing due to the lack of a classic: unfortunately, you won't find anything special about it. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied with our lunch. I chose pasta with prawns and both the pasta itself and the plentiful prawns were cooked well. The pasta comes from a local factory and is fresh. You notice that and it enhances the dish even more. The price of the restaurant is not cheap, but very fair for the quality.

Hearty food, rustic ambience and friendly service staff. You can also go here with larger groups. Everyone will find something suitable. The food was delicious, as were the drinks.

Located near the banks of the Rhine is probably the only KÖLSCH bar in the city of Düsseldorf! Sometimes it's also good to get a Kölsch in the Altbier zone!

Gambas are really, really delicious👍 If you order Ziegen Salat, you can order a salad with fruit. The dressing is sweet and delicious. I substituted chicken breast for cheese and it was delicious.

The food is well portioned and attractively presented. We all enjoyed it. The service is good and the ambience is pleasant, although it is a bit noisy. The location in the Media Harbor has its own charm.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give less than one star here. Well, it's not all bad, even if from my personal point of view a lot of things are really annoying now! Ordering and paying via QR code is still positive. That works really well too. Otherwise, unfortunately, there isn't much good to report. From my point of view, the prices have become more expensive because you now have to order everything in pieces and everything costs extra money. From my point of view, the dishes have also become smaller and in terms of taste it no longer has anything to do with the egg stone from before. That's my very personal feeling. What is now very annoying is that there is NO football shown there anymore. Only European Championship and World Cup games left. I think we, as regular guests, were lost forever.

The food was very tasty. The staff is a bit overwhelmed and too hectic but was still nice. Unfortunately, the toilets were very dirty, even in the early evening. Unfortunately, the benches inside are also very uncomfortable. But the food was really great.

Was there for a company party. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, so everything took place inside. Very noisy atmosphere that made it difficult to have a conversation. Food was good. Service, despite almost full occupancy, very good. Waiters were very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant was one of my favorite restaurants. The food was once again great (this time it was the mustard roast, last time it was fillet). The second beer my husband ordered was forgotten. It was a disaster when paying. The waiter complained to me because I didn't tip enough. He would have to? % to the kitchen and I wouldn't be serious if I only tipped €5. I was pretty exhausted and unfortunately another visit is no longer an option for me.

The Eigelstein is located in Düsseldorf's media harbor and offers burgers, schnitzel and ice cream as well as some draft beers. Eating and drinking delicious food in a cozy atmosphere, meeting people and spending a lovely evening. We were kindly swept out at curfew. The only thing I personally found annoying was the voluntary toilet allowance in the restaurant, but otherwise it was a cool location.

A Köll island in the middle of Düsseldorf. We were pleasantly surprised and Köbes didn't disappoint us, but rather took us away with his relaxed manner. Dogs and humans are equally welcome and the food - we had the tapas mix 😊 - was very good and plentiful for two people. Thanks again to the Köbes!!!

Great shop for good home cooking at a fair price. You may pay 1-2€ more than outside the Media Harbor. But it's really delicious

A Cologne restaurant in the Forbidden City. Brave, but we were even happier to have ended up here. The only shop in Düsseldorf where you can get a decent Kölsch (Gaffel). From the diverse menu, which usually also includes some vegan dishes, we chose the goulash soup, which is a great price at €11.90. She was very tasty. I thought it was a bit spicy and when I brought it out I was immediately brought bread and sour cream. Super nice and friendly service, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food. We are excited. Absolutely clear recommendation!

Not recommendable!! Wanted to eat and drink outside in the sun. After the waiters inside looked outside in annoyance (maybe 10 guests inside), a waiter finally came and asked us if we would wait for the bus. They are too lazy to work and don't understand their job as innkeepers. When we left with thanks, people called out to us across the terrace to see if we were in a bad mood. An impudence!!

We were there yesterday evening (3/20/24) and were able to sit comfortably outside. It was very well attended inside and out. We had to wait longer for service - which wasn't a big deal because we had time :) The service was also so friendly and so charming that we accepted the waiting time calmly. Ordering system via mobile phone with QR code possible, very practical. Food was tasty and looked good. We'd love to come back.

Indoor staff loudly gossiped about guests sitting outside. Our waiter didn't know any please or thank you. Tips were accepted with a quick “yes”.

Stopped at the Eigelstein before going to the cinema. Sitting comfortably outside in sunny weather. The food was delicious. Kölsch and burgers are also available in Düsseldorf. Friendly staff and a nice audience - overall a good atmosphere.

Essen am Tisch mittels QR Code bestellt und gefühlt 2 Minuten später am Tisch. Qualität ok, Quantität knapp. Frisch gekocht sieht anders aus, aber für mittags schnell etwas essen ok…. Preislich noch akzeptabel ist aber auch der „Medienhafen“ für die hippen Leute….

Last visited February 2024. It is best to make a reservation if you're dining. Service was good. They serve both Alt and Kölsch. Ribs here was really good. No faults, would be a regular of mine if I lived here again.

Nice restaurant in Media Hafen serving German cuisine. You can order over the app. If you have a large group, I strongly recommend one person order for the entire table so that there is no confusion. In our case we did not order “Frische Tagliatelle mit Gambas” but it was confusing as the waiter delivered and did not acknowledge the mistake. Finally, I got the corrected order “Frischer Fjordlachs” which was delicious and I enjoyed the meal with wine and Kölsch beer. For dessert I ordered, “Nougat-Espresso Brownie” which was quite a small portion but tasted delicious.

Bestest Gastronomieerlebnis seit langer Zeit Sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen, einzig das Bier ist etwas teuer… wenn der Halbe Liter mehr als 5€ kostet, empfinde ich das schon fast als unverschämt. Aber klare Empfehlung Super Bedienung guter Service und alles super schnell obwohl alle Platze besetzt waren

Everything runs online. Ordering is hardly possible without a smartphone. The food wasn't good. Cordon bleu extremely dry. Schnitzel Viennese style not much better.

Food was good, drinks too (Kölsch in Düsseldorf!), service friendly and fast. But my highlight was the online menu with the option to order and the shopping cart, which you can view until payment including the accrued costs. This way you never lose track of the drinks you enjoy. However, I found it a bit expensive.

Ich war nach langer Zeit wieder in Düsseldorf für einen spannenden Termin. 🙌 Zum Abendessen habe ich mir einen leckeren Düsseldorfer Senfrostbraten im Eigelstein gegönnt. 😋 Das Roastbeef vom Black Angus Rind war perfekt medium gebraten und hatte eine knusprige Zwiebel-Senfkruste. Dazu gab es einen cremigen Pastinakenstampf mit Trüffel, knackigen wilden Brokkoli und eine aromatische Rotweinjus. 🤤 Das war ein echter Gaumenschmaus! 😍

Brauhaus Atmosphäre im Medienhafen mit Kölsch in Düsseldorf, keine Angst, Alt gibt es auch, unweit von Kasematten und Altstadt gelegen, modern, hip und mittelhochpreisig, halt Düsseldorf, aber ordentliche Qualität mit guter und schneller Bedienung.

Hay que decir que me gusta probar restaurantes, pero acabo viniendo a este local por lo rica que está la comida y el trato que se da por parte de todo el personal. Muy atentos con nosotros, mi hija es alergica a muchos alimentos y fueron muy cuidadosos con todo lo que podia pedir, ya que mi nivel de aleman es bajo y no entendía muchas cosas en carta. Sin mas! Pruebalo tu mismo, estoy seguro que repetiras

Ein Stückchen Köln in Düsseldorf. Hier gibt es Gaffelkölsch vom Faß und typisch kölsches Brauhausesssen. Das Lokal ist groß, hell, freundlich und die Bedienung ist schnell und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Immer noch ein grandioses Team, das Essen ist hochwertig und sehr schmackhaft dazu gibt es fantastische Weine Punkt wer gut essen gehen möchte in einer tollen Atmosphäre mit einem tollen Team dann kann ich diesen Ort nur empfehlen

Perfecta relación calidad-precio, la comida estaba muy rica con raciones generosas. El servicio súper amable, quitando que en algún momento tardaron un poco, se entiende porque el local estaba lleno, ya que fuimos en Nochevieja. Por lo demás, de 10!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Der Kellner war sehr nett. Ich finde die Entwicklung, ohne Speisekarte etwas nervig. Auch, dass man alles per Handy an den Tisch bestellen kann. Vermutlich dem fehlenden Personal geschuldet.

Almost next door to the radisson hotel. Very busy on Saturday night. Beer house type restaurant with good beer and good choice of dishes on the menu. We visited twice and had cuurrywurst, sausage, schnitzel and beef roulade. All the food was very good - large portions. The waiters were excellent and service was very good. A nice atmosphere too.

Online gereserveerd, ging perfect. Zeer betaalbare gerechten. Kipburger, hamburger, normale schnitzel en de worst kunnen we aanbevelen! 1 puntje minder voor de service, het bestellen via de qr code geeft ons wat minder beleving en de kinderen hebben geen overzicht.

Das beste Schnitzel (Kalbsschnitzel), dass ich je gegessen habe! Also vom Essen her ein Traum. Ambiente etc. nicht ganz meins, jedoch passt es trotzdem ganz gut. Wenns mal Schnitzel sein sollte, dann ganz klar hier!

Essen und Service war top, für mich persönlich war es aber zu laut was die Gemütlichkeit rausgenommen hat (jenseits der 80db).

Very nice pub in the Medienhafen neighborhood. Well balanced food and drink menu with great choice of both vegetarian and regular dishes. Also, they offer both digital menu and printed versions. Service is outstanding, extremely friendly staff (you would not find a single place with such great service in Cologne 😉)
