Es war ein köstliches und genussvolles Erlebnis.

Gutes Eis, allerdings kleine Kugeln für den Preis. Gute Auswahl an Geschmacksrichtungen.

Wir fahren 60 km für dieses Eis. Heutzutage schwer gutes und geniales Eis, abseits 08/15, zu finden. Hier wurden wir fündig und kommen immer wieder gerne.

Eine große Auswahl an Eis mit außergewöhnliche Sorten das sehr gut schmeckt

Vor Jahren hielt ich diese Eisdiele für eine der besten in Düsseldorf. Leider ist das Erlebnis heute nicht mehr dasselbe. Das Eis schmeckt jetzt deutlich künstlicher und ist viel zu süß. Das allein wäre ja noch akzeptabel, aber der heutige Besuch war besonders wegen der Portionsgröße enttäuschend. Die Kugeln waren winzig, fast so groß wie ein Tischtennisball. Der Preis ist nach wie vor hoch: Ich habe fast 10 € für vier einfache Kugeln bezahlt, die kaum einen mittelgroßen Becher füllten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr schlecht. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht gegangen und werde ehrlich gesagt nicht wiederkommen.

Die Eissorten sind sehr gut, meine Empfehlungen: Schmand-Mohn (Panna Papavero) mit Sauerkirsch → Cremiges Eis mit Mohn und Sauerkirschen Blaubeer-Buttermilch → Blaubeer-Buttermilch-Eis Amarena-Krokant → Amarena-Kirsch-Krokant-Eis

Hier gibt's sehr leckeres Eis in vielen Geschmacksrichtungen. Alles sehr schön cremig.

Ich bin begeistert. Von der Auswahl der unterschiedlichen, mitunter ungewöhnlichen Eissorten, denn neben den Klassikern gibt es auch Sorten wie etwa Minz-Schokolade, Brombeer-Lavendel, Walnuss-Karamell oder Schmand-Mohn, aber auch von der Tatsache, dass dort auch der Latte Macchiato (leider im Pappbecher und nicht im Porzellan) gut schmeckt. Was mir bei meinem Besuch noch gefallen hat? Die ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen und die Tatsache, dass man vor der Eisdiele auf einer der Bänke, ein wenig geschützt vor dem Trubel der Straße, Platz nehmen und für den Genuss des Eises und Kaffees verweilen kann. Ich habe Eis, Kaffee und Besuchszeit bei Gelato49 sehr genossen.

Ich habe New York Cheesecake und Dubai Pistazien-Schokolade bestellt, mein Freund Mango und Erdbeere. Es hat gut geschmeckt. Der Laden liegt direkt am Fluss. Ein perfekter Abend, um den Sonnenuntergang mit einem Eis in der Hand zu genießen.

Ich wollte unbedingt zu Gelato49, da das Eiscafé 2025 zu einem der besten in Deutschland gekührt wurde. Leider war ich mega enttäuscht. Ich hatte 4 Kugeln Eis und 3 davon waren unterschiedlich und schmeckten aber alle gleich. Das Schokoeis Edrador war OK. Hatte ich leider auch schon bessere. Ambiente -> mitten in der Altstadt zwischen vielen Restaurants. Also ständig Leute um einen. Ich hab mittlerweile bestimmt schon über 50 Eiscafés in Deutschland durch und eines der besten für mich, ist der Eiskrämer in Erfurt. Gelarto49, sorry aber wenn ich in Düsseldorf wohnen würde, keine Anlaufstelle für mich.

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und verärgert über die Erfahrung, die ich bei Gelato 49 gemacht habe. Ich kam ganz normal mit meinen Kindern in Ihr Geschäft und bestellte 3 Kugeln Eis mit Dubai-Schokolade. Doch anstatt einfach meine Bestellung aufzunehmen, sagte der Mitarbeiter vor meinen Kindern in einem unhöflichen und respektlosen Ton: „Das ist teuer, eine Kugel kostet 3,80 €.“ Ich habe überhaupt nicht nach dem Preis gefragt und auch nicht angedeutet, dass ich etwas Günstigeres suche. Es gab keinen Grund für diesen provozierenden Kommentar. Seine Worte vermittelten den Eindruck, als wollte er andeuten, dass ich mir das nicht leisten könnte oder dass der Preis vielleicht zu hoch für mich sei. Das war sehr beleidigend und absolut unprofessionell. Das Schlimmste daran war, dass diese Situation direkt vor meinen Kindern passiert ist. Dadurch dachten sie, ihr Vater würde nach dem Preis fragen, weil er nicht zahlen kann. Sie sagten sogar danach zu mir: „Papa, wenn das Eis teuer ist, dann wollen wir es nicht mehr.“ Das brachte mich als Vater in eine sehr peinliche und verletzende Situation vor meinen Kindern. Es geht hier überhaupt nicht um den Preis. Selbst wenn eine Kugel Eis 100 Euro kosten würde, hätte ich sie ohne Diskussion gekauft. Das eigentliche Problem ist der fehlende Respekt, die schlechte Art zu sprechen und dieses überhebliche Verhalten gegenüber Kunden, als würde man sie nach ihrem Aussehen oder ihrer Bestellung bewerten. Ein Mitarbeiter, der sich so verhält, beleidigt nicht nur den Kunden, sondern schadet auch dem Ruf des gesamten Geschäfts. So etwas sorgt dafür, dass Kunden sich zweimal überlegen, ob sie wiederkommen. Respekt und guter Umgang sollten die Grundlage jedes Geschäfts sein. Was ich erlebt habe, war genau das Gegenteil. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Verhalten ernst genommen wird, denn so etwas ist absolut inakzeptabel und passt nicht zu einem Geschäft, das alle Kunden gleich und respektvoll behandeln sollte. So behandelt man Menschen nicht – besonders nicht vor ihren Kindern.

Ob in der Waffel oder im Becher. Schokolade Ecuador, Pistazie, Monzart Kugel oder New York Cheesecake. Einfach jedes Mal ein echter Genuss - hier wird Qualität und Geschmack noch groß geschrieben! Werde jedes Mal wieder hier her kommen wenn ich die Chance habe. Kann es nur jedem empfehlen.

Wir kamen um 21:15 Uhr an, nachdem wir 1,5 km zu Fuß zurückgelegt hatten, und der Mitarbeiter teilte uns mit, dass sie beschlossen hätten, um 21:00 Uhr zu schließen, obwohl bei Google 22:00 Uhr angegeben war. Absolut unprofessionell.

Richtig gutes Eis kann ich jeden Empfehlen schmeckt sehr natürlich und sie haben richtig abgefahrene Sorten wie Blaubeer-Lavendel, Himbeer-Buttermilch und Zitrone-Basilikum kann ich jeden Empfehlen.

Also...was soll ich sagen? Ich war heute hier und muss sagen das das Eis sehr gut war. Der Mitarbeiter war übrigens auch sehr freundlich und die Preise sind auch gut. Ich hatte Mango und Himbeere und beide Sorten waren sehr sehr gut, cremig und fruchtig. Der Laden sieht auch sehr schön aus und das Eis war sehr gut. Ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen.

Für 2,50€ bekommt man eine Mini-Eiskugel. Lohnt sich garnicht…Eis war oke aber nix besonderes.

Reine Abzocke! Ich habe gestern, 16.04.2026, eine Kugel Eis gekauft, die kaum größer war als die Waffel selbst. Einmal lecken und weg war sie — und das bei dem Preis! Demnächst verlangen sie wahrscheinlich schon Geld fürs bloße Anschauen der Vitrine. Eine Schande.Leider habe ich kein Foto gemacht. P.s. ​Ich habe mich sofort an das Personal gewandt, aber man konnte mir weder helfen noch etwas erklären. Ich habe hier oft gekauft und weiß genau, wie groß die Portion früher war und wie sie jetzt ist, am 16.04.2026

Gestern eine Kugel Eis bestellt, 2.30 . Ok Kaufe dort seit Beginn mein Eis . Aber leider werden die Portionen immer kleiner , habe mich auch gestern direkt beschwert . Die Beiden Mitarbeiter, junge Mädchen haben nur mit den Schultern geguckt. Ich kaufe demnächst gegenüber mein Eis . Langsam ist Schluss mit Lustig .

Top Speiseeis,sehr kremig mit tollen Geschmack. Habe noch nicht alle Sorten probiert,aber nach und nach damit es sich lohnt. 🥰😘👍

Ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und wirklich sehr, sehr gutes Gelato!

Ja, Eis ist generell teurer geworden, aber stimmt auch immer das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis? Nein. Wie auch hier. 2x Eis gekauft. Ein mal eine Kugel Walnuss-Karamell und ein mal zwei Kugeln Schoko-Crunch und Spekulatius. Die Kugel kostet 2,20€ und ist unfassbar klein. Geschmacklich sehr süß und nicht überragend. Bei dem Preis darf man trotz gestiegener Preise mehr erwarten. Spekulatius hat nicht ansatzweise nach Spekulatius geschmeckt und die anderen beiden Sorten waren so lala. Leider ist letztlich die Enttäuschung geblieben. Wäre es geschmacklich wenigstens eine Explosion, könnte man den Preis nachvollziehen. Treffend gesagt, eine Packung Cremissimo aus dem Discounter, wäre die deutlich bessere Wahl gewesen. Sowohl geschmacklich, als auch preislich.

Die besonderen Eissorten und der gute Geschmack haben mich überzeugt. Besonders die Konsistenz des Milcheises fand ich herausstechend. Der Preis befindet sich im in einem akzeptablen Rahmen für die Düsseldorfer Altstadt.

I tried the award-winning pistachio ice cream (one scoop for €2.30). It was delicious. But I've had much better. On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give the pistachio ice cream 8.5. The ice cream was nice and compact, as befits a high-quality ice cream. The sweetness was also subtly pleasant. However, the pistachio flavor could have been stronger.

We were working as technical support for a DJ gig at Gelato49 and felt very welcome from the very beginning. Communication was super easy, and the team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'd especially like to highlight the service – always attentive, friendly, and with a smile. And of course: the ice cream was absolutely first-class! Creamy, intensely flavored, and with a fantastic selection. An all-around successful evening – we'd love to come back!

Beautifully creamy ice cream, they have unusual flavors, and the servers are very nice. It just takes a while, but nonetheless, the ice cream flavors are simply amazing! 49 for Varto/Mus!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It was definitely tasty, and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. You can sit at the sides, front and back, but it's only made of wood.

The ice cream is delicious, and the prices are just about right. Wearing headphones while being served isn't very polite, so it loses a point.

I was born in Düsseldorf. Nothing has impressed me for decades, apart from Unberhaun (it's not what it used to be) and Pia, but Gelato49 was voted the best ice cream in Düsseldorf, and rightly so. It tastes PERFECT, 5 out of 5. If there were more, definitely more....People complaining here have absolutely no idea about ice cream or prices, and as for the staff, you can complain to management or by email...

Pure disappointment! I've rarely been ripped off like this: small scoops, bad taste, over €2 a scoop. I asked if they made a mistake...so don't fall for this place. The worst ice cream I've ever had!

The pistachio ice cream and cream are incredibly delicious. There's no designated seating area. Definitely worth a try.

Usually, the ice creams are delicious, but there are some days when a few flavors aren’t as good. For example, the lemon with basil didn’t taste as fresh basil at all. It wasn’t green, more like just white with some dark spots in, and it was overly sweet — more like a sugary dessert than a refreshing sorbet. I even considered not finishing it because it was so sickly sweet, but I didn’t want to waste it. On the other hand, classic flavors like pistachio are always excellent! Another issue is the opening hours. They don’t match what’s listed on their Google Maps page — in reality, they close at around 8 PM. The staff is always very kind and friendly, which I really appreciate. (Except when they are closing at around 19:50, however the closing time is 21pm.)

We passed by this ice cream parlor on a sunny day and were really craving something fresh and cold. After choosing certain flavors and beginning to enjoy them, we couldn't stop being amazed. The ice cream is very fresh, delicious, and the scoops aren't too small. We highly recommend this ice cream parlor and will be back.

The gelato used to be truly exceptional – the pistachio ice cream was my absolute favorite. Unfortunately, something has changed: The pistachio flavor isn't nearly as intense and creamy as it used to be. Something seems to have changed in the recipe, and the result is ice cream that seems almost tasteless. It's a shame – I expected more. The service, however, is still always friendly, and the prices are very fair. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars – in the hope that the old flavor will return.

No, we dutifully joined the queue. When it was actually our turn, the employee called out a number. Only when we asked did she tell us that we first had to pay at the back of the store to get a waiting number. There is no written or verbal reference to this procedure in the store, which is completely unusual. The people behind us probably didn't know anything about it either, otherwise they would have gone on to the checkout. Since the employee was also very unfriendly, we left the ice cream parlor and will not be coming back.

Super great impression! I would like to give a big shout out to the seller Konstantinos. I was no longer used to such great service. Very friendly, very attentive and very professional. For example, my brother had choked and he immediately came with a glass of water and was concerned about his well-being. We felt very comfortable. :)

These ice cream flavors are an absolute taste explosion in the mouth that can hardly be put into accurate words. Such a good ice cream parlor in the middle of Düsseldorf with a price of €1.80 per scoop is simply great. Highly recommended! The journey is worth it.

The weather was nice, so there was a lot going on. We sat down outside and had to wait 15 minutes until someone came to take our order. Others who came after us had already ordered and received their ice cream. Afterwards we had to wait another 15 minutes and we got a milkshake as ordered, the waitress said the rest would come immediately. We also ordered a cappuccino and a beer. We waited another 8 minutes (I had already eaten and the entire order still wasn't there) then we asked the waiter about it and they actually forgot the order... something like that doesn't work

The ice cream in this ice cream parlor is simply fantastic! I was particularly blown away by the pistachio ice cream with the pistachio cream topping – an absolute delight. Although I'm not usually a fan of vanilla ice cream because I often find it too ordinary, the vanilla ice cream here looked so good that I just had to try it. And it was definitely worth it! The vanilla was also a real taste experience. Absolutely recommended!

An excellent Italian ice cream! The consistency is wonderfully creamy and melts gently on the tongue. The flavors are intense and authentic, you can taste the high-quality, natural ingredients in every spoonful. I was particularly impressed by the balance between sweetness and freshness, which makes the ice cream incredibly light and yet tasty. A true masterpiece of gelato art! The selection is clear and the price/performance ratio is right.

This is an ice cream shop that mixes real ingredients, and it's quite rich and delicious, so I recommend it~

Very nice gelato. I tried pistachio, vanilla bourbon, blueberry buttermilk and hazelnut. Some scoops had not been blended too well so there were occasional odd pieces, but overall the gelato tasted excellent. Not too sweet. You can taste pitaschio pieces in the pistachio gelato. There are some benches for sitting in the shade. It's amazing that you can taste gelato of this quality in dusseldorf, just like in Italy 😆
