Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is a bit smaller and seems to be popular. Parking is available in the short-term parking lot, which is about 150 meters away.

The appetizer was a true delight, and I didn't think the main course could top it, but I was proven wrong. It was an explosion of flavor, simply poetry on the tongue. Since we were in the area on vacation and fancied a Greek restaurant, we looked online to see if we could find something nice. We went to the tavern based on the reviews. From the outside, the restaurant looks like a small village tavern on a corner house, and we thought, okay, are appearances deceiving? We arrived at 7 p.m. on a Sunday and were lucky to get a table, although reservations are recommended. There are a manageable number of seats. The ambiance is reminiscent of a small, chic tavern in Greece. Not too busy, not too little...just cozy. The service was super friendly, even if she was very busy. Our order was taken quickly, and the drinks arrived in no time. As for the food... I can only say wow! Everything was just perfect. The best salad dressing I've ever eaten (wonderful halloumi cheese!). The main course topped it all. The quality of the meat, whether gyro or lamb, was first-class in taste, and the loving cooking/grilling gave me a truly exquisite experience. My partner opted for shrimp skewers with grilled vegetables...what can I say...I've never experienced a vinaigrette like that before 😍. A flavor explosion, simply amazing! The professionalism of the service is also simply fantastic! The ouzo after the meal was an ouzo for good friends 👌 Thank you for letting us be your guests 🙏

The dishes were delicious, as was the house wine. Since the restaurant is very small, we recommend reserving a table in advance.

We were there for the first time today as residents of Bad Breisig and were thrilled... A great little restaurant with seven tables and a beautiful interior. It's run by a married couple, and the service was really friendly. The portions are very generous; we also had a small appetizer, which was more than enough, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend it.

The food is very good, the service is great. Everyone is very attentive and helpful. I was there with my mom. She had a walker with her.

I discovered this taverna through word of mouth. Since then, as a lover of Greek food, I've become a regular. Although the small tavern only has an estimated 20 seats, it's more than cozy. The owner, who is solely responsible for service, always greets us warmly. Our little white dog is also welcome. The food is always delicious. The owner of the house is responsible for that. In conclusion, all I can say is that the price-performance ratio here is very reasonable. Please keep it up...

Small but perfectly formed! We ate there yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. The staff was super friendly, and you immediately feel at home. The appetizers were truly delicious, and the gyro was just as it should be: crispy, spicy, perfect! We'll definitely be back!

Top service, the food is fresh, tasty and flawless. A small disadvantage, however, is the room acoustics. Especially when the restaurant area is busy, conversation is hardly possible. Therefore only 4 stars.

We had dinner there on a Saturday evening with the company (of course we had made a reservation in advance, which I would definitely always do, especially when the kitchen is top notch, even if you're just eating for two) and I have to say...everything was great. We were there with about 15 people and initially had large plates of starters for everyone, with very tasty bread, where there was something for everyone. The main course was also great, we all had different dishes and were able to all eat together, really great 👍🏻 Big praise for the kitchen and the service.

Update:04/04/2020 Despite the Corona crisis, we are still working for all of us. Simply call, 02633-4880772 during the Corona opening times: Closed on Mondays, otherwise open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and in the evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrange a pickup appointment by phone and then pick up the freshly and deliciously prepared Greek food at the window. Hang in there, keep it up. Look at my current pictures in the take-away packaging. The best tavern in the entire radius of at least 70 km. Today I was out with a good friend to try out the little tavern. After a short wait, the nice owner delivered the dishes we ordered, which tasted magical and impressive. Many of the ingredients in the dishes were made by hand and not bought as a ready-made product like in many other Greek restaurants. I wish the new owners of the small tavern good luck and success as well as long-term stability in Bad Breisig.

Personally, I found the food very good in a good atmosphere. It is advisable to reserve as there are not many places available. Unfortunately only cash is received, which urgently needs to be changed. You don't hide and you have a view of the kitchen. Nice service.

Small but really fine restaurant. Everything is lovingly furnished and decorated. Very cozy atmosphere with nice background music. The dishes are beautifully presented on the plate and super tasty. The homemade Metaxa sauce is highly recommended. The meat is grilled and very tender. The tzatziki also tastes very good. The only suggestion: small chair cushions would be nice for delicate bottoms 😅 Staff and innkeepers are very nice, attentive and not intrusive! All in all a highly recommended restaurant and a great asset to Bad Breisig. Keep it up 👍🏼

We have been guests in the small tavern several times now - the service is always attentive and courteous, never intrusive. The food - a dream - everything fresh, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the quality when it comes to gyros. Everything is clean and is totally comfortable. We always felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

From the outside, the tavern looked like a snack bar at first glance, but the food tasted excellent, the service was super friendly and the sanitary facilities were also spotlessly clean! Not your average fast food joint, but a wonderful little restaurant! Very, very good Greek food, served by charming waiters in a bright, beautifully decorated restaurant. For my little daughter there was an extra plate with a flower made from lettuce, which she was very happy about! The toilets were also pleasant because they were very clean. Absolute recommendation, everything was really right here! If I ever find myself in Bad Breisig again, I'll definitely come back!

The name says it all, it's a small tavern. Everything was perfect for us, the food was delicious and plentiful, the service was courteous and friendly, but not at all fake. The meat on my Naxo plate was all seasoned differently, there was no standard seasoning for everything. It's usual to be offered an ouzo at the end at a Greek restaurant, but here we were also offered an espresso, which was very tasty. The free ouzo was also of good quality and certainly not the cheapest

Unfortunately the meat was quite fatty and not seasoned at all. The meat from the other dish was very dry and tough. The coleslaw on the side didn't taste good at all. Fries soggy and not salted. I also can't recommend the rice. I paid 40 euros for 2 dishes. I'm happy to pay for good quality, but unfortunately the quality here is not right at all. A little while later I even had a stomach ache!

Wir waren auf Empfehlung dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es ist ein kleines Lokal mit wenigen Tischen, deshalb vorher anrufen und Reservieren. Wir wurden freundlich Empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Das Essen kam zügig, war reichhaltig und gut. Wir hatten den Saganaki, Gyross und den Hausteller. Lecker und gut, besonders das Zaziki. Die Bedienung war unaufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Super nice, small and well-kept restaurant with very warm hosts. The food is super fresh, homemade and incredibly tasty. I had such a delicious side salad with a light dressing and pomegranate seeds - I left the great rice for that. The grilled vegetables and the scampi skewers were well grilled and also very good. My companions' meat dishes were also very good and all the side dishes were homemade. We had nothing to complain about, the starters were also great. Thanks to the hosts for the great evening. ❤️
