I had a Margherita pizza and it was excellent!! It was very busy on Friday evening, but we had a nice, cozy corner (we had reserved one) and were able to have a good conversation. Ben provided fantastic service! More servers like him are needed!! I deducted one star because I asked another server for honey and she lied, saying there wasn't any... I found that a bit disappointing. But Ben brought me some afterward. So, all in all, a good restaurant that I would recommend :)

We arrived relatively early in the evening and were initially a bit confused. No one seemed to be in charge of the arriving guests, and the service felt like everything wasn't quite ready, even though there was plenty of staff present. Without a reservation, we were told we could have a table for about an hour – perfectly fine with us. However, firstly, we had to wait a long time for our food, and secondly, we constantly felt like our table was needed – tables were being moved around the restaurant several times – all very disrespectful, and the team seemed dissatisfied. The food was very, very good! The service, once we were seated, was also very friendly! The restaurant itself is a 10/10 – a fantastic location, beautifully situated right on the water.

We've been to Rudolph's many times; it's always worth a visit. The food is fresh, and they offer a selection of different gluten-free doughs.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has a bit of a cafeteria feel to it. It's very noisy due to the many voices. Furthermore, I think it's a mistake to condemn cash. It's still legal tender and the customer should be able to choose how they want to pay.

Nice location, but we mainly went there because one of us has celiac disease. The selection was good for him! The vegan person could only really eat the pizza with vegetables and vegan cheese – it was good, but the selection was quite limited considering they advertise vegan options on their website. Overall, though, the food was very tasty. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert or a second drink, and from the moment the food arrived at the table, we were basically ignored.

In my opinion, the lighting is somewhat poor in the evenings.

The pizzas are truly elaborate and lovingly made, with a very long resting time for the dough. The gluten-free pizzas are made with rice flour and are a blessing for people with intolerances. A restaurant run by the whole family.

Pizza Lottery: We Pulled Oil and Coal Our visit to Rudolfs as a group of three unfortunately had a very mixed result. On the positive side, the menu is concise and easy to navigate, and especially the fact that they offer gluten-free pizzas. That's a real plus, which is why we came to Rudolfs in the first place. The accompanying dips are also a nice touch. We had two different dips, and both were really good. However, there were serious problems with the main courses that overshadowed the experience. Of our three pizzas, only one was truly good. The other two were unfortunately very disappointing. The second pizza tasted good, but the crust was completely burnt. So black and inedible that we had to cut away a lot of it. The third pizza was the worst. At first glance, it looked very generously topped. But it was completely covered in oil. The base was very soft, possibly because the oil had seeped underneath the pizza. To even be able to eat anything, I first had to degrease the pizza with three napkins. I've eaten pizza with pesto many times, but I've never seen anything like this. I couldn't even finish the pizza, but the completely soaked, greasy napkins remained on the plate as a clear indication of the problem. The staff was friendly, but not particularly attentive. No one checked on us during the meal to see if everything was alright. This only happened at the very end. Given the black edges and, above all, the visible, oily napkins on the plate, which were ignored, this was very disappointing. There was also no reaction to these obvious and pointed-out issues. All three of us wondered how they could send out and serve pizzas like that. It was impossible to miss and surely must have been noticed in the kitchen or by the service staff. On top of that, the menu doesn't offer a single salad, which I personally find very disappointing. Furthermore, the menu doesn't offer a single salad. Due to the poor quality of the pizzas and the inattentive service despite such obvious mistakes, we cannot recommend Rudolphs.

They also offer gluten-free pizzas and pasta. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and competent. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Hamburg.

The food was absolutely delicious, however, cutting the pizza was a real nightmare and took forever, leaving my fingers sore from all the cutting. The service was truly excellent! The ambiance is lovely, although the lighting got a bit too dim towards the end.

We had a very pleasant evening and enjoyed a delicious meal. We specifically chose this restaurant because of their gluten-free options, as one of our guests has celiac disease. There were absolutely no problems after our visit. Our only slight annoyance was that we couldn't arrive earlier than booked when we inquired. The woman told us, "If I say you can't come earlier, then there's nothing available at that time." It's all about the way you say it, and when we arrived shortly afterward, there were plenty of tables available... However, the male server was very polite, and overall, we left with a very positive impression.

A lovely shop in Hamburg's HafenCity district. Its atmosphere is very cozy. A particular highlight is the excellent gluten-free pizza and pasta. With two separate ovens, you can also enjoy the flavor of the oven. Always worth a visit.

Yesterday, as always when I'm in Hamburg, I went to my absolute favorite restaurant, Rudolph's. Here, I always feel completely normal and can eat like everyone else. It's simply fantastic. Freedom. Gluten-free, lactose-free, and histamine-free - they make it possible, as best they can. And it tastes so delicious!!! The entire service is friendly and simply very accommodating. The waiter who served us yesterday repeatedly checked with me and the kitchen to make sure what was and wasn't allowed. They even asked about the oil for the pizza bread. I can only describe that as "wow." I feel welcome, safe, and taken seriously here. I am so grateful for this restaurant! My husband doesn't have to worry about anything, and he enjoys it every time (or everyone else I drag there on my visits to Hamburg). My recommendation: eat there in the afternoon instead of the evening. Then the kitchen can better accommodate such a wide variety of dishes, as in my case. In the evening, when If it's really busy, you might have to wait a bit (which isn't a problem for me). The prices are perfectly reasonable! Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are all readily available on the menu and are never a problem at any time of day. Thank you, Rudolph's!!! Please keep up the good work!

Fantastic. We received a super friendly welcome the moment we walked in. Everyone in the service was very friendly. The food was delicious. We'd definitely be happy to come back. The restaurant, with its gluten-free options, is perfect for my wife. The only thing that prevents us from giving it a full star rating is that it's quite dark. More lighting would have been great.

The restaurant serves truly excellent pizza, but the prices are also slightly high, especially for the wine. The ambiance seems a bit plain, but the service was impressive. The notice that only card payments are accepted could be clearer.

I had the Pasta with Salmon for some 14 €. Downing in cream and barely any Salmon. Would not recommend for the price.

We were there in a larger group. Some of us are gluten-sensitive, eat some vegan food, and even some eat animal products, so the restaurant suited us well. However, some of us weren't satisfied with the service: The service often seemed distracted. People often walked past us, even though no one seemed to be doing anything and the restaurant was still empty. Several times, something was forgotten, so we had to ask at the counter twice. Furthermore, at least one server referred to food that wasn't gluten-free or vegan as "regular" pizza, pasta, etc. I definitely find this problematic because it implies that people who eat gluten-sensitive, vegan, and so on aren't considered "regular." The gluten-free pizza was otherwise quite tasty, but slightly too salty in some places for me and unfortunately, it got cold quickly, but that could be due to the thin crust. There's still room for improvement in communication and processes.

What a shame, dear Rudolph's, your kitchen really does a great job, the food is fantastic but your service was a disaster! We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. When my girlfriend entered the restaurant she was completely ignored. It was only when I approached her and we took the initiative that someone even looked at our table. At first there was trouble finding our reservation and our table also didn't seem to be prepared. We ordered, and our waitress seemed slightly annoyed. In addition to the wine being much too warm, we tried to get ice from various waiters - to no avail. It was only when I went to the bar after about 40 minutes that I was told that there were problems with the ice machine, but that there might still be ice cubes in the back. Another 20 minutes passed before I asked again. Finally the restaurant manager (presumably) took pity on us and brought a large bag of ice to the front, while at other tables various drinks were sent back because they were too warm. Finally we got a small glass of ice cubes. When asked about it, the supposed boss of the evening offered excuses instead of apologizing. Very weak. We won't be back. It's a shame, because the food is really good. But something is very, very wrong here! Unfortunately, that ruined our evening.

We went to Rudolph's last week. We chose it because of my wife's celiac disease. The ambiance was okay, rather modern, not really our cup of tea. But luckily, that's a matter of taste; perhaps it was just too stylish for us country folk. ;-) But the food was very good. The gluten-free pizza, in particular, was, according to my wife, the best she'd ever eaten. I tried it myself and can say that there was no difference in the taste between the regular (gluten-containing) and the gluten-free pizza. All other items on the menu are also available in gluten-free versions (for a small surcharge). Highly recommended for anyone who is gluten-resistant.

A very friendly welcome from the waiter. Thanks to a table reservation, there was no wait at all. Ordering was very quick, and we received our menus as soon as we sat down. The food arrived within 10 minutes. All in all, everything went perfectly, and the pizza was absolutely fantastic. For anyone with celiac disease or a gluten intolerance, this is an absolute must. One of the few restaurants that lets you order exactly the same thing as everyone else. 👍

The food itself was good, but cold because we had to sit outside. We had a reservation, but we were told that everything inside was full, which wasn't true. We sat outside and unfortunately, despite asking several times, we didn't get a blanket. The pineapple pizza had very few toppings, and you really have to pay close attention to whether it's REALLY gluten-free. Not everything is, per se, even though the waiter claimed it was.

The service left a lot to be desired: Apparently, they expect you to drink straight from the bottle. We only received a glass upon request. We also had to request cutlery after the food was served, and bringing only three place settings for four people is almost unintentionally odd. A notice in advance that cash payments are not accepted would also have been nice.

The gluten-free pizza is very good! We've visited Rudolph's for the second time now, and we even made a special stop in Hamburg. Rudolph's is a dream for our daughter, who has celiac disease.

The starter and main course were good, although the tartar performed better than the pasta as a main course. The service should be improved, as we had to wait a long time for our drinks. The ambiance is modern and pleasant, but points are deducted for the dogs being allowed. They don't belong in a restaurant. After all, animals aren't allowed in a supermarket either.

It's a lovely restaurant, beautifully located. We had pea soup with shrimp tartare for €12.90. The soup was about 200ml lukewarm. The shrimp tartare consisted of three cooked shrimp tails that were cold. A tartare is something that's carefully cut into small cubes and seasoned. This should be visibly arranged as a mirror on the soup. Pizza (gluten-free because my wife has celiac disease) The pizza wasn't cooked all the way through, tasted good, but €18 was too expensive for me. The service – I don't want to know what it's like when it's busy. The question about drinks came quickly, the question about the food took 30 minutes, and the waiter only came because we asked. After the food was served, we weren't even looked at again. Since a restaurant makes most of its revenue from drinks, the waiter should ask if you'd like a drink when the glasses are empty. Personally, at today's prices, I don't feel like asking if I can get something else! Conclusion- so-so.

First of all, I saw it posted by a cute TikToker and saved it. We were there yesterday. We asked for more details, and man, it was so nice there. Everyone was answered kindly, and the pizza was amazing. My daughter, in particular, found it incredibly difficult to overcome her fear, as she's had problems with other restaurants in the past. Gluten-free doesn't necessarily mean contamination-free. But here everything was great, as celiac disease is known in the family. For me and my daughter, it was a successful visit with such delicious pizza and pasta 💕. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back ❤️❤️ And by the way... They also had gluten-free beer. 🤘❤️

Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. Our order was simply taken and brought to our table; we couldn't have expected any better service. We also ordered a bottle of wine with a cork, and despite several attempts, the waiter didn't open or pour the bottle. In the end, we brought a waiter's knife with us and did everything ourselves. Unfortunately, that's not what you go out for. Next time, we'll probably just order takeaway, because the gluten-free pizza was really good! It's a shame the service isn't up to scratch, otherwise I'd love to go there more often!
