The first drinks arrived very quickly, but that was the only good thing. The pizza was expensive and tasted like a frozen pizza; they didn't even check to see if you wanted anything else to eat or drink.

This is just a personal opinion, but the food was a little bit too salty for us. However, we still enjoyed our meal. The chef is excellent! The quality of the food was good and the portion sizes were just perfect! The service was also great! The wine quality wasn’t the best but it was still ok. We will definitely go back.

The restaurant is an absolute dream. We had a starter salad that was extremely delicious, a children's schnitzel that we adults could barely manage, 1x tagliatelle with salmon and tomato sauce (a dream), 1x tagliatelle with scampi in lobster sauce (super delicious 😋), 3x Cokes Totaling just over €60, absolutely fine.

Good place in the town - service was efficient and friendly - food and beer of a good standard - nice location.

Very disappointed. This is probably the worse experience I had so far in a restaurant. The pasta was impossible to eat: too salty! It made me cough. I asked for a change, and they watered down the sauce and added some cheese to compensate, but then that didn't help much with the taste.

The food was delicious. Lots of choices on the menu, with a variety of dishes. The explanations were helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We have been coming to this local for years and today the evening was perfect, as expected. The owners and staff are super nice, you feel welcome. Short-term reservations at a specific table were made without any problems. The dishes are tasty and well prepared. Thanks to the whole team, we'll see each other again soon.

We went there for dinner yesterday with a larger group. I was looking forward to a grilled dish and ordered the funny Bosniak. Unfortunately, the meat was stringy, still raw inside and tasted as if plastic had been burned on the grill. Inedible! You can't get along with larger companies there when it comes to service either. Too bad!

Disappointing experience. We waited for over an hour for 3 pastas and a tomato soup on order. I could make it at home quicker. Upon following up 2 times after (30 minutes)we were informed there was a big group upstairs ordering food and so everything is delayed. No apologies no shame. Somehow people on the table next to us - ordering after us got food and got dessert by the time we got our food. My kid ended up eating all the table bread and I had to finish everything. Food quality was acceptable.

When we visited the beautiful town of Aachen, we had already chosen the restaurants in which we wanted to dine. Ristaurante Verano was our choice for Friday evening. We had a delicious meal in a beautiful ambience, the quiet sounds of Italian music and very friendly, courteous service. It's just a shame that we were almost the only guests. The restaurant doesn't deserve that!!!

Despite having a reservation, I had to wait 20 minutes for a free table. You wait 30 minutes until a waiter brings you the menu or takes your order. It can take up to 1 hour for the food to be ready. I've been there several times and the food is usually delicious. But I've also had dry fish before. Would advise against eating here. There are better Italians in Aachen.

Simply great, both to eat there and to take away. We like to eat in the restaurant but as you can see, there is also plenty of food outside the house and it is always fresh and tasty. Staff is very nice and accommodating. We are always happy to come to you.

Not really friendly neighborhood, felt little unsafe... Additonally, during supper, one of next door restaurant employee start to drill in the wall ... Guests in both restaurants and he started to drill ... Anyway food not even close to Italian food, pizza was greasy and in the same time tasteless. Only good point was that was not do expensive.

Here you can find authentic Italian dishes that taste good and are beautifully presented. The chef likes to use fat/cream/cheese, which tastes great but doesn't really follow the slim line. In my case it was porcini mushroom/chanterelle mushroom season and the dishes were correspondingly autumnal and good.

Fresh ingredients, generous portions, nothing to complain about! Whether pasta or pizza, everything is great. Service was friendly and waiting times were reasonable

Really comfortable outdoor seating, and the staff was very courteous even though we arrived with less than an hour til close. The food was delicious and we were surprised by how big the portions were. The sauces were lush and the veg cooked to perfection.

For just under 20 euros there were three perfectly fried slices of pork fillet on a chili cream sauce with rosemary potatoes and a side salad with a very good, homemade dressing ... first a greeting from the kitchen ... really a fair price! ....Now to the service...it has a lot of room for improvement compared to the kitchen...the beer that was ordered only came after a long time when asked...when it was empty...well...it moved Neither of the two graces standing in front of the door looking at their cell phones... A few years ago I had a pretty bad pasta here. Tried again recently and it's a lot better. Deserves 4 stars. Ravioli were a bit too salty though.

Good Italian cuisine. We visited here twice during our visit to Aachen: once for pizza, the other time for pasta and pork fillet. The food was convincing. Only the noise in the restaurant was a bit high, both due to the many guests and the kitchen. However, there is a lot of traffic outside due to the proximity to the road. Overall, a good place for a good meal at a reasonable price.

We were there for the first time today and we are absolutely thrilled. The food tasted absolutely excellent. At the beginning there were very tasty pizza rolls and olives, herb butter and a kind of garlic cream were served. We thought that was great. The service was extremely personable, friendly and accommodating. We got dessert on the house because we had to wait a little longer for our food, but we didn't think that was a bad thing at all because we felt very comfortable in the restaurant. But still a very kind gesture from the boss. Thank you for the successful afternoon and the delicious food. We'll definitely be back 😊.

Yesterday we ate at Verano again after a long time. This was definitely the last time. No trace of hospitality. Everyone just walked around with a long face and you didn't have to hope for a friendly word. The highlight, however, was the food. A mix plate was ordered, which was hard to beat in terms of impudence. On the plate (normal size) there were three small pieces of meat.....next to them a few fries.That's it!!!!! NOTHING to look at, completely loveless and the amount was a joke...for just under 27 euros!!!!!!!! We will definitely not be coming back again. It's a shame... because it used to be completely different.
