The grilled platter was excellent and the first place where you're full without that unpleasant feeling of fullness afterwards. The homemade lemonade is delicious, and the sea bream is cooked to perfection.

We had a wonderful meal here! Great service, pleasant (background) music, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We especially enjoyed being able to eat upstairs with a view of the square. At least one of the staff spoke good English, which made ordering and service go smoothly. Highly recommended!

Here, I was served one of the best steaks of my life – after delicious, fresh appetizer dips. With a little luck, you can snag a seat on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view of the city center. The service was quick, attentive, and always accompanied by a friendly smile. In short – a great treat for the soul!

The food wasn't anything special, but overall it was okay. Why I was led past the cash register in the restaurant to pay for my meal on a laptop, only the manager knows. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a scoundrel. 😉

I’ve been to many Lebanese restaurants, and this one was by far the worst experience. I ordered the mezze, and it was a huge disappointment — obviously not handmade by the restaurant, very limited variety, bland taste, and the portion was nowhere near worth the price. It felt like a cheap supermarket platter passed off as authentic. I actually had to go eat somewhere else afterward because I left still hungry. Definitely not coming back.

Unfortunately not anymore. A few years ago I went there frequently and the food was delicious. Today I had the salmon salad which was 80% iceberg with 4 cucumber slices, 4 tomato slices and 5 olives. There were two slices of dry flatbread and 2 pieces of salmon, which were not convincing in terms of taste. 23 euros is too much for that!

Pretty restaurant with friendly service. Unfortunately, the salad chosen was very bland and nothing fancy for the price of 20.80 euros. 80% iceberg lettuce, four slices of cucumber, four slices of tomato, a bit of grated carrots and a pepperoni. Plus the meat from two natural chicken skewers... The honey mustard dressing was tasty, but sparingly dosed. The specially ordered portion of fries (in slices) was very tasty, but also manageable. We waited a relatively long time. The ambience in the upper area is very nice, you have the feeling of being on vacation. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio wasn't right.

Hmm... have the owners changed? My Adana kebab wasn't comparable to what it used to be. While it used to be delicious, this time it was rather lackluster and tasteless. It's a shame. The service and atmosphere were just as friendly as before.

Mediterranean holiday feeling on the plate too. Traditional preparation with a charcoal grill like in Turkey. We ate delicious sea bream and lamb and were treated courteously. Thanks for the hospitality to the team.

Leider kann ich hier nichts gutes berichten, das Lokal ist kein Restaurant in diesen Sinne sondern eher eine Imbissbude, auch wenn vielleicht andere das anders sehen, werde ich dieses Lokal nicht wieder in Betracht ziehen. Der Iskander Adena Lamm Spiess konnte mit nichts glänzen, solches Gericht habe ich zB. in Frankfurt in einer ganz anderen Liga essen dürfen. Kraftvoll gewürzt mit extra Beilagen und nicht wie hier auf aufgeweichten Fladenbrot mit Jogurt und Tomatensosse darüber. Schade da ich denke da steckt Potential dahinter. So aber noch nicht. Auch bräuchte der Laden eine ganzheitliche Auffrischung der Einrichtungen. Leider habe ich kein Foto gemacht.

The food is just as delicious and authentic as its predecessor. We've been coming here for 15 years now. Now comes the BUT…. Prices have risen enormously. Of course everything will be more expensive, but over 30% is already a house number. It's clear that, for example, the chicken skewer doesn't always cost €13.50, but now it costs €18.90?! The side salad has halved. The starter platter is now over €20 The service is always very friendly.

Family atmosphere and very delicious, homemade food. Fresh vegetables, fresh fish and everything super delicious. They gave us to try a new sauce that we loved. And of course very good attention. 100% recommended.

The most negative thing was that the prices on the menu on the website did not correspond at all to the prices on site. Everything is at least 15-20% more expensive. For example, the chicken salad (No. 19) now cost over €20 instead of €15.90. There is an urgent need for updating here. . My salad tasted good, but not appropriate for the price. The other guests in my group had been there before and were now disappointed across the board. The service employee was very friendly, there is nothing to complain about at all.

Perfect! Grilled meat cooked to perfection! I was looking for something like this for a long time and lo and behold, I found it! I recommend it to anyone who loves grilling!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and I absolutely love it. The quality of the steak and lamb chops was outstanding – perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Preparation on the wood grill gave the dishes an incomparable flavor that you won't quickly forget. The staff also deserve high praise: friendly, attentive and professional, which made us feel like we were in good hands from start to finish. The entire evening was a delight - from the atmosphere to every single bite. I highly recommend this restaurant ❤️

Very nice place to spend an evening in a nice company. Location is great - right in the centre and in one of my favourite squares in Aachen. Staff is incredibly welcoming and tried to do their best for us to feel welcome. Cuisine is a mix of Turkish and Mediterranian as far as I could tell. But generally speaking everything was good. Both meet and fish were well made and tasty. Not spectacular, but definitely good. It's worth mentioning that our friends noted that the red wine was average, nothing to write home about. I highly advise to sit on the second floor - you get a better view :) In general - it's a good place to visit if you're fan of such cuisine or looking for a good place in the centre of Aachen.lace

Great location, great value for money.

I would say it is a no-frilled, yet brilliant restaurant. We are drown into the place while spotting the fire place, and we order a grilled dorade that is beyond our expectations. If you like grilled fish, I certainly recommend this one!

Eine Internetrecherche führte uns auf die Webseite des Aix Mediterrane. Die Speisen sahen auf den Fotos gut aus. Impressum der Webseite von 2024, also könnte man eigentlich davon ausgehen, dass sich die Präsentation der Speisekarte als halbwegs aktuell darstellt. Dem war leider nicht so !!! Vorab Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen schmackhaft. Aber ein erster Blick in die Speisekarte ergab null Übereinstimmung mit der im Internet dargebotenen Version. Einlaminierte Speisekarten erweckten einen erstaunlich neuwertigen Eindruck. Portionen erinnern an Format eines "Kindertellers". Es hatte den Eindruck als wäre die Speisekarte auf potentielle Weihnachtsmarktbesucher und Touristen ausgerichtet. Beispiele: Speisen real im Schnitt plus 5 Euro gegenüber der Internetvariante. Grillplatte 27,70 Euro, Lachssteak 21,90 Euro, SIS Kebab 22 Euro, Iskender Adana 20,80 Euro statt 15,90 Euro (die wenigen Brotkrümel unter den 2 Fleischspießen hätten zusammengepuzzelt vielleicht ein Drittel eines kleinen Fladenbrotes ergeben). Beim Lachssteak waren 4 Rosmarinkartoffeln dabei in der Größe von 2 Eurostück auf Holzspieß. Grillplatte für 2 Personen plus 10 Euro. Getränke im Schnitt plus 1 Euro. Türkischer Apfeltee mit Teebeutel von Hersteller JA plus 30 Cent für 2,80 Euro. Wir sind oft in Köln unterwegs in türkischen Vierteln wie Nippes, Mühlheim Keupstraße oder Köln-Ehrenfeld, aber da sollte sich der Betreiber mal dran orientieren und seine Preispolitik überdenken und sie auch transparent auf seiner Internetseite darstellen.

A beautiful young company with lots of young, new ideas. The concept of Italian cuisine is well received. The Neapolitan pizza is particularly recommended.

We wonder how these good reviews came about? Worst restaurant in years. The price is outrageous. The side dish consisted of 1/2 tomato and a burnt pepperoni. The rosemary potatoes were old and overcooked. Why do people talk to you stupidly if you don't pay in cash? After asking at the next table if you had decaf, you were told to read the menu. Unspeakable.

Such great food! We found this randomly in our visit to Achen but we were pleasantly surprised. Kind staff and good food. Nothing to complain! If you sit downstairs you can see the chef making the food on their indoor large grill and make the plates artfully. They also give out complementary salads as extra starters.

Das Personal ist superfreundlich, nur ist es bei voller Restaurantbelegung absolut überfordert. Unsere (= 6 Personen) Vorspeisenplatte kam sehr schnell und mundete hervorragend, als aber nach fast zwei Stunden Wartezeit unsere Hauptgerichte noch nicht einmal auf dem Grill lagen, haben wir abgebrochen und sind gegangen (und mit uns noch weitere Gäste). Nach Aussage des Chefs hat sein Holzkohlegrill bei Vollbelegung Kapazitätsprobleme. Sorry, aber das geht gar nicht. Entweder reduziere ich dann die Anzahl der Plätze im Restaurant oder ich erweitere den Grill!

The three of us were traveling to AC on a Saturday and wanted something to eat at Aix Med. The waitress came very quickly to take the order and the drinks and appetizers also came quickly. However, after 60 minutes our order still hadn't arrived and after repeated inquiries we were put off with the many orders. After another 15 minutes, 75 minutes in total, we paid for the drinks and left. Our impression was that the waitresses (2 ladies and 1 gentleman) were totally overwhelmed and no longer had an overview of who had ordered what and what was still to be received. Shortly after us, a young couple sat down at our neighboring table and after almost an hour they still hadn't received any drinks. If you already have table number. and takes the order, it should also be the responsibility of the operator/operator to deliver it one after the other, that's how you ruin your business.

Today we sat there again after a while. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. The first thing we noticed was the new menu and the significant price increase. We once ordered kofta with bread, yoghurt and tomato sauce for 16.90. Then a salad with turkey breast for an incredible 18.90 euros. The plate of kofta was right on the limit for the price. The salad plate was honestly a joke. Definitely bagel salad and nothing fresh. Plus two small strips of bread and a sparse amount of dressing. The salad wasn't even worth half the price. Despite the change in ownership, this is completely incomprehensible. This was the last visit for us...

We were tempted to visit based on the positive reviews, but were unfortunately disappointed. Food: was ok. Price performance but rather borderline. (By the way, for tea: take normal, inexpensive tea bags and simply cut the label?). I know much better charcoal grills. Service: honestly subpar and our main criticism. The two waitresses seemed totally apathetic (and hardly spoke at all, and if only very quietly it was hard to understand), were very slow and when paying they returned a euro too little (well, was that a mistake?!) Ambiance: nothing special. Rather cool, both in terms of furnishings and temperature. Unfortunately we won't be coming back and won't recommend it to anyone in Aachen.
