The taste of the kebab is good and the price/performance ratio is also right - gladly again!

We liked the food and the service was very nice. It's a clean place.

Karli has been my regular kebab shop for over 10 years and I've been here quite often. During that time there were sometimes quite strong fluctuations in quality. Most of the time I would have given it 5 stars, but there have been times when I would have given the store just 2 stars. Karli was just reading up on something recently, so I started looking for alternatives. Yesterday I was there with my wife for the first time in a long time and I thought it was quite good. A big plus point is and remains the large selection of food. There's everything you'd expect in a kebab shop here, plus a lot of slightly rare dishes like gratinated Augergine, Iskender Kebap or Sigara Böregi, which you can't find everywhere. The fried zucchini is always particularly good as an alternative filling for flatbread. The selection of sauces is also decent. The hot sauce in particular is one of the best in Potsdam. The quality of the meat actually varies. Yesterday she was absolutely fine. The same with the fries: in addition to normal ones, there are also curly fries and sweet potato fries and they are usually good, but there have been several days when they were so soft that you couldn't eat them. Yesterday they were great. The service is generally nice and always available for special requests of all kinds. You can sit both inside and outside. The benches are not super comfortable, but there is a lot of space. Unfortunately, Karli is not that cheap. In recent years, all kebab shops have seen their prices rise significantly and Karli is unfortunately one of the shops where this has become a little more noticeable. All in all, Karli is doing okay. When it comes to pure quality, there are more stable alternatives in Babelsberg (e.g. Dönerwerk), but Karli has a better selection and is the best contact for more special dishes that are not available elsewhere.

The Dönerwerk is a kebab snack bar located directly at the Medienstadt-Babelsberg train station. The service mainly involves ordering takeaway food on site, but you can also order and have the food delivered or picked up. There are a few benches and tables to sit on the side. I have already ordered both locally and from home. Dönerwerk's offering offers what a classic kebab snack bar has, but with more sauces than just hot, garlic and herbs, for example. There is classic veal and chicken, but also a veggie version with grilled vegetables. Plus halloumi, falafel, fries and various other finger food variants. The food is generally really delicious, but for me the special feature of the house is the so-called kebab plate, a compilation of the house's highlights. I haven't been disappointed once and have always enjoyed the food. A particularly positive moment was a situation where I accidentally gave a different address than the one I was staying at. I was called several times over the phone because they wanted to make sure I got my food, even though I had obviously made the mistake myself. My food would even have been delivered to my correct address, despite the detour for the driver.

Great place, the kebab is great and the burger is also much better than at McDonald's or Burger King, simply the best shop

The Femo kebab chain makes very good kebabs and fries, but this branch stands out negatively. The service and interaction with customers cannot be compared with the branch in Babelsberg. The quality of the food also suffers due to the stressed and annoyed nature of the supposed boss. Unfortunately, you have to admit that it's still a great (haloumi) kebab.

Small portion for 7€. Doner kebab was bland and tasteless.

Anyone who writes here "Best kebab in town" probably rarely comes out of Waldstadt - or is part of the always drunk regular clientele 😄 I've never had such poor quality kebab meat with so many pieces of cartilage and bone - it can't be that my tooth almost breaks off every second bite! Later stomach pain and nausea - absolutely not recommended!

Everything you need in a good kebab snack. A little tip: Pay in advance and leave a tip of €1-2. I ate the fattest Turkish pizza of my life. Easily 800 gr+. Top And there was a small plate of meat free for the dog in the car. Fine. Thank you 🐶 I can only agree with the current reviews. Less in it and the taste diminished. Too bad. Off to the S Bhf Babelsberg, Döner Vis a Vis.

Divan Döner is located right in the train station arcades and, despite its terrible reputation, has been able to stay there for a very long time. I've more or less completely avoided the store for almost 15 years now, but curiosity drove my wife and I into it at the weekend. The first impression isn't that bad: it's not super comfortable inside, but it's okay for train station conditions. The selection of dishes also looks good at first. What's particularly cool is that there are lots of small snacks like börek and other pastries, which are of course also available at the train station. The prices aren't that great - they're really high and very expensive for a kebab snack bar. I had falafel in bread, a poça with cream cheese and a vegetable quiche, my wife had lahmacun with meat and a small portion of fries. The service was reasonably friendly, but a bit sloppy. My only special request, not to have tomatoes in the flatbread, was registered, but I still got some. Unfortunately the salad itself wasn't good. Super roughly cut. I don't think I've ever had such large blocks of tomatoes before. At least it was easier to get them out that way. The mixing ratio was strange (hardly any onions, but a lot of cucumber) and overall the salad didn't taste much. The bread was super thin, it tore on the side when I first took a bite and after a short time it was soaked through at the bottom It was extremely stupid to eat. The falafel was okay. Nothing special, but I've had significantly worse ones. The sauces at least tasted good and there was even hummus on request. My wife liked the lahmacun, the meat was tasty and looked pretty good on the skewer. Unfortunately the fries were really mangy. The portion was rather small for the price, but that didn't matter because they were barely edible - super thin and still limp and the fat had a very rancid aroma that you could still smell half an hour later. The mayo also came in one of those sad little bags, which is also rather unusual. My Poça actually tasted pretty good, but was super dry. With the vegetable quiche it was the other way around: the consistency was good, but it tasted like this rancid fat. Overall, it was about what I expected - not the worst kebab ever, but no reason to go again. Of course the location at the train station is something special, but then I would expect either a slightly higher price or a slightly lower quality and not both. If you're a tourist or commuter in a hurry and want to eat at the train station: the Potsdam Grillhaus around the corner isn't exactly crazy either, but offers slightly better quality at better prices or you can go to Jasma in the train station arcade - it tastes really good there, even if it doesn't necessarily have to be the classic kebab.
