Die besten Restaurants mit Kebabimbiss Essen in Potsdam

Although I have walked past Vis a Vis many times, I have always ignored this kebab shop, which is mainly because my regular kebab shop, KarLi, is directly opposite. Today, however, curiosity drove my wife and I to Vis a Vis and we took a look at the store with an open mind. It is located directly at the Babelsberg S-Bahn station and is therefore actually quite central. Unfortunately, it's not really inviting from the inside, as everything is quite narrow and there are only a few counter seats to sit on. In summer you can at least sit outside pretty well, but in winter it is rather uncomfortable here. The store can't do anything about that, but the ambience doesn't get any better if you squeeze two clunky slot machines in there. But everything was nice and clean. So we took our food to go. I had a falafel sandwich and fries, my wife had a Dürüm with fries. The selection is okay for a kebab shop. Everything is basic, but there is nothing special that isn't available everywhere else and the only skewer available is the normal veal skewer. So for poultry you have to go to the competition. The fries themselves were completely fine and salted normally - without that weird french fries salt. I had curry sauce with it, which was quite good. Unfortunately, the mayo that my wife had with it wasn't good. The Dürüm was okay and the meat was mediocre. It was cut quite thick, but probably didn't taste bad. Unfortunately the falafel was really bad - dry and almost completely tasteless. I have no idea how anyone manages to make such bad falafel. Unfortunately, the salad was also quite dry and roughly chopped. I had cheese on my sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was also good - lots of sesame and black cumin and also well toasted, but unfortunately it tore on the side pretty quickly and was a bit difficult to eat. In general, it wasn't that great. At the beginning I had almost only cheese, then almost only falafel and in the end almost only red cabbage. For sauces I had spicy and garlic. Hot was pleasantly spicy, but beyond that it didn't taste like anything. Garlic tasted completely like mayo. Overall I was a bit disappointed. Everything was somehow edible and the bread and the curry sauce were even good, but the salad and the falafel were pretty weak. If necessary, you could go out to eat here, but since there are several better kebab shops within a 5-minute walk, there's actually no good reason for that, especially since the price of all the fun is a bit higher than the competition.

A small and cozy place, fair prices

Best kebab in the whole city. It is a family business and the food is prepared with love. I've been coming there after school/work for 10 years. The halloumi plate is highly recommended. Always very friendly staff, open to special requests and always willing to listen.

The service was nice and also responded to my special requests. But €7 for a mediocre kebab is already a mouthful. That's why unfortunately only 3 stars overall. But you can do it. The sharpness was great and they didn't underestimate me, which is also important to me.

At first glance, the Kebap Haus Felsenstein looks like a typical German pub - including a regulars' table and darts machine. However, you can sit pretty well here and the interior is really spacious. There is still a separate smoking area in which a few people were pursuing their alcohol, tobacco and slot machine addictions during my visit, which I always find a bit unpleasant, but here this area was at least so separated that you hardly noticed it. The menu offers everything you would expect in a kebab shop, but no exotic items and is really geared towards kebab - so the shop doesn't try to be a pizzeria or a burger shop at the same time. I had falafel sandwich and fries. The waiting time was short and I was the only person in the store who ordered something to eat. Unfortunately, the flatbread was quite thin, could have been crispier and had hardly any sesame or black cumin. Very unspectacular, but at least it isn't torn. The salad was okay but a bit dry. Unfortunately, the falafel wasn't crispy and hardly seasoned. However, the hot sauce was very tasty and actually a bit spicy. Big plus point for that. The fries were okay, but like the falafel, they probably could have stayed in the fryer a tiny bit longer. They weren't mushy, but not really crispy either. They were also heavily salted with French fries - not really my thing. The curry sauce was very thick, looked like tartar sauce and tasted like mayo with a hint of curry. Overall it was okay in Felsenstein, but nothing special. There are some better and some worse kebab stalls in Potsdam.

A very good shop with very good food and a lot of selection. The only problem is the service from an employee who is disrespectful to the customers. If you don't answer him for a moment because you can't hear him in the noisy environment, he gets loud and complains. Sometimes the boss intervenes and admonishes him, which is very commendable, but he stays that way.

The prices should be more clear because I asked for a vegetarian doner (4€) and was charged 7.5€ I don’t know why. But it was huge and good, at least

Terrible place, hopeless meat, very average atmosphere, to sum up, I do not recommend the place

Tastiest kebab in all of Potsdam. Very fresh and the meat juicy and well seasoned. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a good kebab. 👍💪✌️

It used to be a dream, now you pay a lot and only get half of it.
