Enthusiastic & friendly Döner Time completely won me over! Super friendly staff, a spotlessly clean shop, and really generous portions. The kebab was juicy, the bread was freshly baked, and the sauce was perfect. I rarely go to the same place twice—but I'll definitely be back here.

I wanted to try the doner kebab here again after a while, so I just did. Unfortunately, my colleague was unfriendly today, but I've read good things about the staff, so either he was having a bad day or at least the others are friendly. Surprisingly, the meat is good in my opinion, and so is the bread, but the salad and sauces unfortunately don't have much flavor of their own. I think the reviews mentioned something about homemade garlic sauce and a spicy hot sauce, but they both tasted rather sweet. Even if the doner kebab was okay (albeit relatively small), if you've been treated unfriendly at a place once, you certainly won't want to go back. What a shame about the good location.

Had a Dürüm. The flatbread was not fresh at all. Totally hard, like it came from a supermarket and had been stored uncovered for four days. The rest was okay. The staff wasn't the friendliest either.

After the Dönerhaus Golm was already pretty borderline, my expectations for a university kebab shop weren't particularly high. The kebab shop on the Griebnitzsee campus has been around for a long time, but it used to have a different name and the location was moved a few meters ago. So it's possible that we have a completely new operator here. At least, out of curiosity, I went there with my wife the other day to eat. At first glance, everything seems very minimalistic – they really only serve kebabs and everything that goes with them – even just one skewer – and no pizza, burgers, or whatever else you might sometimes get. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The place is also very small, so you can only sit outside. But there are a few benches there that look quite cozy, although we didn't use them – why sit by the train station when you can eat in the beautiful park on campus? So, Döner Time definitely scores points for its location. Unfortunately, the location bonus also seems to lead to a brutal calculation of how far they can lower the quality until the students here are barely able to buy their kebabs, because everything was somehow subpar – except for the cleanliness, which was perfectly fine. The employees weren't exactly unfriendly, but they were a bit stressed and seemed a bit off for a short time. I ended up with a falafel sandwich, my wife a dürüm, and we both shared a plate of fries. Unfortunately, the fries were forgotten at first, and we had to remind them. They came very quickly, and it's nice that the two people hurried. However, the fries weren't completely cooked, were a bit unevenly salted, and were slammed into the plastic tray so fast and hot that they burned holes in it. Mmm... delicious microplastics... My falafel sandwich was somehow the bare minimum of what you'd expect. The bread was quite thin and not toasted well, making it a bit soggy. It also had a fairly small filling. The salad was okay, although the red cabbage was almost completely flavorless. The falafel also tasted very bland. The sauces themselves weren't bad at all – the hot sauce was actually quite spicy, and the curry had a nice flavor of its own. However, they were spread on so thinly and sparingly that the whole thing was extremely dry. My wife's dürüm was almost worse – the meat was still extremely dry, and that, combined with too little sauce, made it one of the driest dürüms she'd ever had. Again: slightly above-average price for a rather small filling. In the end, there wasn't anything in particular that was completely unacceptable or disgusting or anything, but you can definitely tell that the prices here are pretty much set against the students. If you're on campus, don't feel like going to the cafeteria, and want a quick bite to eat between lectures, you can easily go to Döner Time for a lack of alternatives. But if you really want good quality and aren't dependent on location, I would recommend either Dönerwerk or Bistro 03.

Very unfriendly and the kebab only tastes mediocre.

We got a big doner kebab and a doner box there yesterday. Surprisingly delicious, very good quality, and the ingredients were fresh, even though we were there in the evening. The staff was very friendly. Keep it up. 👍🏻 I can't understand the negative reviews.

How can you be so bad? Stay well away from this place. Started with quality, built up a customer base, now it's just junk. My old review: Well, I have to be honest, I'm very surprised at the delicious falafel they have here. They're vegan too, really amazing.

The doner kebab and Turkish pizza are consistently excellent, the sauces and meat are perfect. The stand is clean and well-maintained, the staff are incredibly friendly, and we love our doner Wednesdays with you.

I have no idea why people tell lies about this store. The staff are some of the friendliest people I know. The dishes are also very tasty. I just don't understand why this one has been hated for so long, undeservedly.

Far too overpriced for the quality. Better go to Siggi am Kepler or Kebab Time Medienstadt.

Hard döner 4 out of 5. Just a good regular döner. It happens that they prepare the order very slowly, but I never had to wait more than 10 minutes even with a huge queue. Payment by card from €8.

Very, very tasty kebab :) Friendly staff with whom you can also have a chat. Fast service so you can get your bus or train on time. Clear recommendation! (For understandable reasons, card payments are only possible if you exceed a certain amount. It's best to have some cash with you. But if you ask nicely, a card is always an option.)

Best kebab ever!!! If you don't have kebab, then nowhere...The herb sauce is super good. And every time I'm satisfied after eating :)

A lot of lettuce, more lettuce than anything else and there is no tomato in the salad and very little sauce.

This is the new stand of the shop across the street. Accordingly, it looks much more modern, hygienic and inviting. Attention: Card payments are only possible from 8 euros! You can definitely treat yourself to Halloumi doner and box here and I really like the Börek ^^

Totally good for the price. Nice operators where you can tell that they have worked hard for this. The two of them work around the clock. Respect, but also give yourself a break.

This is the original shop opposite. The staff is very friendly, the audience consists mainly of students from the university next door. The new stand looks much better than the old one, unfortunately the kebab is located in the lower area. Small portions, tasteless sauces, for many probably just a snack on the go in the truest sense of the word.

Best kebab far and wide. Even on Sunday evening he had a delicious kebab ready for us 10/10

The kebab is inexpensive and tastes relatively okay for what you can expect. In terms of quality, you simply have to accept compromises. The extremely small portion size can definitely be improved, at least in my case.

Sehr lecker, nette Bedienung, faire Preise. Das Fleisch war bei den letzten beiden Bestellungen immer frisch und saftig. Individuelle Sonderwünsche werden alle gerne umgesetzt.

An sich ein guter Laden; der Preis ist gut und der Döner schmeckt. Das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich, jedoch kam es auch schon mal vor, dass das Geld nicht richtig gezählt wurde und man leer ausgegangen ist.

Der Dürüm Döner war ganz lecker. Salat und Fleisch waren frisch. Abzug gibt es für den Preis von 5€, was etwas happig für einen Imbissstand ist.

Nach meinem Geschmack eine nicht so gute Türkische Pizza,zu wenig Soße und das Fleisch war nicht durch.

Ich mag den Laden einfach. Die Portion ist in meinen Augen immer genau richtig und die Leute arbeiten fix und sind freundlich. Einzig die Dauer wie der Fladen in den Toaster kommt, könnte verlängert werden. Ich bin Stammkunde.

Was soll man anderes sagen außer das es schön ist ein leckeren Döner nach der zug fahrt zu genießen.

Der beste Döner in Potsdam! Freundliche Betreuung, gute Soßenauswahl, große Portionen. Der Preis ist mit aktuell 4€/Döner leicht überdurchschnittlich, aber die Qualität justifiziert den Preis mehr als genug. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich habe mir hier nach der Arbeit einen super duper leckeren Döner gegönnt. Die Soße war 1A. Jedoch war das Brot nicht so knusprig. So mag ich es. Liebe Grüße

Lecker, aber unfreundliche Bedienung.

Das Essen hier zeichnet sich durch die leckeren Saucen aus. Ich finde allerdings, dass diese den Geschmack zu sehr dominieren. Das Fleisch und der Salat machen auf mich einen vergleichsweise nüchternen Eindruck. Als Fast Food ist der Döner hier gut geeignet, zumal die Zubereitung recht schnell geht, doch die Preiserhöhung auf 4 € erscheint mir unplausibel. Dafür ist die Anschaffung der Treuekarte auch dann eine praktische Idee, wenn man nur gelegentlich vorbeikommt, da sie seit Jahren immer noch akzeptiert wird.

Döner mit echtem Fladenbrot, Verkäufer sind nicht unfreundlich.
