The food was good, the service was great, but we still won't be coming back because the boss no longer accepted two vouchers worth 50 euros because they had expired a year ago.
Legally certainly correct, but we found zero goodwill or accommodation very disappointing!
A culinary getaway to Italy – simply heavenly!
I'm rarely speechless, but this restaurant truly captivated me! From the moment I entered, I felt like I was in a small trattoria somewhere in Tuscany – welcoming, warm, and inviting. The atmosphere is authentically Italian, with great attention to detail, without being cheesy.
The food? An absolute dream! Every dish tastes as if it had been freshly prepared by an Italian nonna with decades of experience. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection al dente, the tomato sauce fruity and aromatic, the pizza crispy with a dough that had been left to rise for hours – simply perfect! The antipasti were also a revelation: fresh, refined, and full of flavor. The burrata deserves special mention – so creamy, so tender, so good, I almost shed a tear.
The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. You can tell that the food here is passionate and heartfelt – both in the kitchen and in the service.
This restaurant is an absolute must for anyone who loves and appreciates authentic Italian cuisine. You won't find customized tourist fare here, but rather honest, passionately prepared dishes, just like in Italy itself.
I'll definitely be back – and bring all my friends next time!

I recently attended my second cooking class. The first was steak and the second was to focus on pasta and create a shared menu; from starter to dessert. You never stop learning! Very committed, great first-class and good quality ingredients. I always think that’s important. Simply TOP! The owner is a professional chef, has worked on ships for several years, which is a hard job - and makes pasta himself!!! Nothing from Barilla and Co. That's his passion. And it's infectious - so it inspires people to continue applying these experiences and hardware. Because he can inspire, is very likeable, a great cook and in the end it tastes good too. An authentic guy and great shop - even just to eat. But it's better to pre-order.

Seating options opposite the counter on the wall are too narrow and very cramped, the existing cushions in the back don't help at all. Pizza marinara was too salty and consisted only of anchovies and black olives.
A really great location with excellent service, a fine menu and extremely tasty dishes.
You immediately feel at home here. It's great that something like this still exists in our beloved Oberhausen Königshardt district.
An excellent restaurant. Delicious dishes, very friendly service and above all there is excellent gluten-free pizza and pasta. Highly recommended for those affected by celiac disease, as the kitchen is well versed in the problem of cross-contamination and pays meticulous attention to contamination-free preparation. Class!
And once again celebrated my birthday here. Table reserved for today. The restaurant was fully booked. The background noise was correspondingly loud, but I still love it here. The starter plate came quickly, 4 people were able to have a bit of everything. We then ordered pinsa with spinach, rump steak and noodles with beef. We were given a sufficient break between the starter and the main course. My beef strips were tender as butter and the tomato sauce was delicious. As always, we drink Lugana there, one bottle isn't enough. For dessert there was espresso, tiramisu and finally ice-cold limoncello. The service is courteous, they are all nice and hardworking. Of course we'll be back
