We had a wonderful Italian evening at Pepazzo today, November 19th. From bruschetta and antipasto misto, to excellent red and white wines, pizzas generously topped with fresh ingredients, delicious espresso, and typical Italian desserts (like tartuffo affogato), it was simply a perfect evening.

Nice little restaurant with really delicious pizza!

The food is just like in Calabria and differs significantly in selection and taste from what you'd find in other Italian restaurants. Where else can you get 'nduja? Simply fantastic.

It was a friendly, family-run atmosphere with a lot of authenticity. A charming, vintage ambiance that truly lets you enjoy a brief moment of "holiday feeling." Friendly service! They take the time here to attend to the guest's wishes and ensure the best possible experience. Excellent cuisine, especially because everything is handmade Italian specialties. The saying "Small but perfectly formed!" is quite fitting here.

It was our first time there and we were absolutely thrilled! The antipasti, pizza, pasta, and especially the pistachio cheesecake were outstanding. And we were pleasantly surprised by the Gin Basil Smash – the best we've ever had. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly and very attentive. We'll definitely be back! :)

Best pizzas in the area! You absolutely must reserve a table! They have a lovely outdoor terrace in the summer!

We ate at Pepazzo for the first time. It's a small, cozy restaurant where you can eat well. The toppings on our pizzas were noticeably fresh (and not, as is often the case, "from a can"). The service was very friendly and pleasant. We'll definitely go back.

A short relaxing holiday in Italy

Highly recommended! This was our first time here, and all our high expectations were more than met. The pizzas are delicious, the service is super friendly, including the staff at the counter. The ambiance is quaint Italian and cozy. You should reserve a table in advance, as it was always full. The online presence is great, including the videos of the current dishes. We'll be back!

We ate here for the first time today and were all thrilled. It's so unassuming from the outside, but a true gem inside. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful and authentic. Our meal was fantastic! Pizza, salad, pistachio dessert, and Cordino—everything was divine. The service was incredibly warm, attentive, and unobtrusive! We've already reserved another table for next month.

Small but excellent, very good food

A small restaurant or osteria with simple decor and only a few tables. Reservations are essential. Very tasty, fresh, and authentic. Prices are relatively high for this location and the portion size. But it's definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, the pizzeria has declined significantly over the years. In contrast, the prices have skyrocketed. In addition to the staff, who sometimes seem unfriendly/unmotivated, the "luxury pizzas" have very minimal toppings. Added to that is the fact that garlic, chili oil, and oregano are charged €1 per component per pizza. While other restaurants include the extras, and are basically the Italian equivalent of salt and pepper at the table, they charge a "luxury tax" here. The pizza tastes really good, the dough is great, but the price no longer justifies this somewhat above-average taste experience. Attached is a picture of a spinach pizza with scampi. I was expecting less scampi than spinach. Simply ridiculous for €15.

Great, authentic Italian food. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the product. I had carpaccio with chanterelle mushrooms for starters, but it was unfortunately far too cold. A real shame, as the quality of the meat and mushrooms was top-notch and deserved five stars. The carbonara that followed was exactly as it should be, thanks to the guanciale and pecorino. The lasagna, pasta with stracciatella, and dessert were also excellent and very tasty. The dining room is small and feels a bit improvised, just as you would expect in Italy. The service was fine, but a bit distant. We didn't experience any Italian hospitality or warmth. A quick goodbye was all it took. A Grazie or Bona Sera would have rounded off the evening.

Brilliant! I don't really need to say anything more. Every bite was a delight. Memories of Italy came flooding back. The ambiance was cozy and cramped, but that's what makes it so special. Great, friendly, and fast service. Everything your heart desires. This won't be the last time I'm here.

We were there for the first time today. The ambiance, especially outside, was very nice. As we sat down, Adriano Celentano with Il ragazzo della via Gluck played from the stereo. Everyday life off, Dolce Vita mode on. The food? Very, very good. Both the starter and the pizza were all excellent. I opted for the carbonara, which was by far the best carbonara I've had in Germany so far. The guanciale was crispy, the sauce sensational. The pasta selection, which the restaurant recommended, was perfect. I think it was mezzi rigatoni. The guanciale spread through the holes in the pasta and didn't stay in the plate, as often happens with spaghetti when you pick up the pasta. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the quality. It was an absolutely delicious and lovely evening. We definitely won't be there again and will recommend you to others.

We celebrated our civil wedding here. Even the preliminary discussions were straightforward. We were offered a complete, worry-free package for the day. The ambiance was Mediterranean, just as we had requested. A lot of care and attention was put into setting up both indoors and outdoors for us. This gave us flexibility in choosing where to celebrate. The food was excellent, and all of our special requests were fulfilled. Marco and team, thank you again for this wonderful, special day.

The osteria is located in a quiet residential area and offers a very traditional ambiance both inside and out. The food was delicious and highly recommended. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is an absolute insider tip and a must-visit when in Aachen!

Eight of us spent an evening here with a table reservation. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The menu offered a good selection, and the daily specials offered something extra. Pasta and pizza with fresh summer truffles. That comes at a price. The ambiance feels a bit cramped. When the weather is nice, there's a spacious outdoor seating area. The ingredients used in the dishes are of high quality, as is their preparation. I think we'll see you again.

We ate there for the first time today without a reservation. It is very cozy and beautifully kept. Sitting outside is very nice & you immediately feel good!😊 Both service employees were super friendly. The food was to die for! The OMMA was excellent. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the prawns were very well prepared & the sauce was very tasty & not watery. The pizza wasn't greasy and had very good toppings. It was simply a DREAM!😊 We would be happy to visit the restaurant again! A very clear 10/10

Klein aber fein! Wir haben unseren Abend bei Pepazzo sehr genossen. Die Karte ist originell. Alle Zutaten waren frisch, das Essen ausgezeichnet. Dazu eine sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Atmosphäre war familiär. Sehr empfehlenswert!

First of all, very good pizza, friendly service, absolutely recommended. Only one negative: the salad was a bit small. We drove from Aachen to Eschweiler based on a recommendation from friends, and we didn't regret it.

It is and remains the best pizzeria I know. Authentic, atmospheric, delicious! No delivery, but that's not a big deal.

I made reservations for Friday but then I was sick and we couldn’t go anymore, but still Saturday we decided to order some take away. The food was really good, everything I expected after seeing the pics and videos on instagram. Can’t wait to come back, this time to experience the atmosphere of the place too.

Best Italian far and wide! Pizzas like in Naples – a dream. Super fresh ingredients, some directly from Italy, many even homemade. Where else is that available? Where can you get Fior di Latte in the area? The homemade pasta with ragù is also simply great! Super cozy – small and cramped, but that’s exactly what makes it so authentic! Everything is just right here. Our new favorite restaurant – even if we have to drive 20 km. Keep it up!

It was very good. Like in Italy.

Pasta was overcooked, probably had no salt in the water, ordered 2 pizzas before they were served, the whole place smelled like something was burning in the oven. When they were served both pizzas were almost completely burnt from the bottom. One was half eaten and turned around to show the waitress. The very quiet Oh didn't say anything else. Nothing was removed from the invoice either.

Top quality food with no frills. That's Italy! And no matter whether on site or for collection: everything is just right. Special requests are also fulfilled. Keep it up, please don't get worse just to be cheaper!

We ordered yesterday for 7 people. Unfortunately our food wasn't ready at the agreed time...we still had to wait about 15 minutes. The pizza was tasty, but a little soft in the middle, which was probably due to the haste with which it was made and the box. The service was very nice despite the stress. The restaurant is very small and rather rustic.

Food picked up, so the ambience cannot be rated. Ordered food over the phone and picked it up. Everything freshly prepared and very tasty. Timing was perfect, food was freshly taken out of the oven at the specified time. Staff very friendly.

When the weather is nice, it is very pleasant to reserve a table outside. Although it is located directly on the street, it is not really busy in the evenings. So you eat in a largely quiet atmosphere. When it comes to service, it can be said that it can take a little longer - depending on how busy the restaurant is (there was a lot going on when we visited). However, the waiting times are still within reasonable limits, especially for a restaurant where you don't have to gets the impression of mass processing. We had no complaints about the quality of the food. We made a diverse selection and were very satisfied from the starter to the dessert. All in all, a worthwhile visit that we will be happy to repeat.

Yesterday we had a lovely evening at Restaurant Pepazzo🍽! A small restaurant with few seats, but that's what makes it something special! I felt invited, like I was staying with friends! Wir haben gestern dieses tolle, kleine Lokal zum ersten Mal besucht und mit Glück auch einen Tisch ergattert. Die Pizza war fantastisch!! Mal etwas ganz anderes, mit sehr guten Zutaten belegt. Eine Zusammenstellung, die ich so noch nie gegessen habe. Sehr lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Ratsam ist einen Tisch zu bestellen, da das Lokal sehr gut besucht ist. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

Tolle italienische Küche und Service. Eine sensationelle Pizza, muss man erstmal wo anders finden. Klasse Weinauswahl. Da lohnt sich auch die Entfernung. Immer wieder gerne.

We just wanted to try something new and were very positively surprised. You could stop here and say: We'll be back. 😉 I had been saving this restaurant for a while because of the good reviews. The parking situation (we have to drive 15 km) was a bit difficult. The location of the restaurant in an area with apartment buildings is unusual. Very nice employees. Exceptional presentation of the menu (form and content). The offer is supplemented and enhanced by Italian regional offerings. The boss's recommendations sound good and they were. The restaurant reminds me of Italian cuisine in the Italian countryside. So a place of longing. I haven't seen the interior and am looking forward to the cooler season to sit inside.

I ordered a carbonara to take away. The dish costs €13.18 to pick up. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The menu advertises authentic ingredients, but unfortunately you can't taste much of them. The sauce was bland and unfortunately you can't taste much of the cheese. The bacon, however, was very tasty. Overall, the portion was very small, I weighed it just for fun and, minus the peel, it came to less than 400g, which I find unreasonable for the price.
