Our favorite restaurant in Beuel. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices. You can tell it's family-run. We come here at least once a month.

Super friendly staff, never pushy but always friendly and helpful. The food was excellent 👍 I haven't had pizza like this in a long time. Other dishes are also of a higher quality. Our family celebration was also a success (ages ranged from our grandmother (94) to youngest daughter (25). It was well worth the price. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Today I went for the first time to this very nice restaurant that was recommended to me, we ate seafood spaghetti and Palermo tortellini, the fresh pasta called Palermo tortelloni that comes from my town, and of course we couldn't miss eating this house specialty, and they were very delicious, I can recommend these dishes to each of you, I can't wait to return and maybe try your other specialties, it was a pleasure thank you very much 😍😍

We were there with our small wedding party on June 13, 2025. All of the guests, including my wife and I, felt completely at home; everyone left full and satisfied. Even the waitress was thrilled, and her friendliness and outstanding culinary talent contributed to a wonderful evening. Thank you again.

Update: We came back last Friday evening after our civil wedding to spend a lovely evening with our guests who had traveled from further afield. Everything was perfect. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and truly outstanding service that evening. Everyone was full, happy, and satisfied! You can always come back here! Old: I've been here 4 or 5 times now. This week, everything was great again. The food was very delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive (they came to the table several times to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else). We also like the ambiance. You can always come back here :)

A lovely Italian restaurant (family-run) with good, fast, and friendly service. The ambiance is pleasantly simple, and it feels tidy and clean. A decent selection of food and drinks. We had the Sicilian pizza, which tasted quite good, but the toppings were a bit sparse and the edges were quite dry. The whole shrimp on the pizza looked good, but it was a bit annoying to eat, and you had to hunt for the spicy chorizo ​​sausage. Overall, I would recommend a visit.

A really nice family business, tidy, and usually not crowded. I always enjoy coming here. They even organized a very nice funeral dinner.

Very good pizza, well topped and seasoned, good size. For me it could have been in the oven a few seconds longer, but that's a matter of taste. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Beautifully furnished and enough space.

We ate there with friends and our children, it was a nice evening with a nice atmosphere and good food, just as you would expect.

I can really recommend the Pizza Romano, otherwise the other dishes had too much cheese for my taste.

An excellent restaurant. Delicious dishes, very friendly service and above all there is excellent gluten-free pizza and pasta. The restaurant itself is super beautiful and modern, and the location is perfect in the center of Beuel. The food and service were super great! Definitely a place I will return to very soon!

The food at Giovanni's is really good. We particularly recommend the warm starter platter with antipasti and the warm chocolate cake for desert! We also liked the ambience, as the restaurant is not very crowded but rather discreetly furnished. Big praise goes to the bright waiter!

All around a great restaurant with very tasty Italian food. You don't have to wait long, the atmosphere here is particularly inviting and also suitable for larger groups.

Superrrrrr...... We held our Christmas party there with 20 people and I have to say that the service was exceptionally fast and the food was to die for..... The pizzas and pasta dishes from me and my colleagues were particularly delicious... I have never experienced such poor service in a restaurant... in a large group, some of the guests were not even asked what drink they wanted. Likewise, no answer to the question of the content of allergens could be given. There was also an extremely long wait for the food. Any unskilled worker would probably have been quicker to prepare the calculation. Even if everyone pays individually, it can't be that it takes an hour for 15 people!

The best food in all of Bonn!!!!

Today I ate for the first time at the Ristorante Pizzeria da Giovanni in Bonn Beuel at the Bonn Town Hall / Konrad Adenauerplatz. I'm positively speechless, I haven't had such a great meal in a long time. The service was more than friendly, the atmosphere was very nice. I would be very happy to come back.

A spontaneous decision led us to this restaurant for the first time today. We really enjoyed the food. The size of the portions are rather French for the price. Dessert felt bigger than our main course. The service was courteous, polite and pleasant. Before we got the card, the dog was given a bowl of water. I always think that's great. The space looks elegant, the noise of the guests gave the feeling of a crowded canteen. We will come back.

Nice and pleasant Italian restaurant. The only drawback: Hardly any vegetarian dishes and not a single vegetarian dish.

For me the best Italian in the area. First class food, super friendly staff. This is really a ristorante. Pizza and pasta are also an absolute delight. Here you can tell it's a family business.

Great restaurant, also offers gluten-free pizza with advance notice. The service was also great and the wine tasted excellent (recommend the Nero d'Avola).

We always enjoy eating there, but today was the first time that we didn't leave a tip because we've noticed for a long time that there seem to be guests who get preferential treatment. In any case, I am of the opinion that pepper should generally be offered in mills; some guests are given the mill straight away, others have to make do with the pepper shaker. If you want something to drink you have to shout very loudly to get something. I'm definitely willing to pay more for my food...inflation etc. Smaller portions of poorer quality and then another two euros for four olives on a pizza? I would really be looking forward to a statement because we have enjoyed going there so far.

A very tasty meal there, really good service, the price-performance ratio is very good and a little insider tip in Bonn Beuel. Whenever I'm in Bonn I eat there and have never been disappointed

We had a takeaway pizza and it was very greasy with lots of cheese but not much flavour.

Family-run restaurant with super nice and attentive service. No matter what we have tried on our numerous visits so far has been very tasty, whether fish, steak, pasta or pizza. The starters are also very tasty and there are changing recommendation cards. The restaurant is always busy, so make sure you make a reservation. There are plenty of seats on the partially covered terrace, the toilet facilities are new and the ambience inside the restaurant is really great. It's fun to spend a few nice hours here and the staff always has time for a kind word.

Very tasty food. I've been there many times and have only had good food there. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace. Update: still great! Update 08/22: nothing has changed. Update 12/22 Food and everything is still great. Is and remains my favorite Italian. 04/24 still great.

There are professionals at work here. Small family celebration with 7 people. Everyone very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I have to give this three stars :-( the atmosphere is really nice. FYI: the sanitary facilities are currently being renovated, there is a toilet truck outside. Service was also friendly, mostly on point. Regarding the food: unfortunately it was almost a complete failure. The appetizer platter was fine. The homemade bread was really the highlight of the evening. The tomato salad was ok, oil, vinegar, pepper and salt were available separately for seasoning. The main courses did not convince us at all, on the contrary, some of them were not edible. We had pasta with beef fillet (which was super overcooked and dry) and chanterelles (you couldn't eat them because they were completely swollen with water, rubbery and tasted like nothing). The pasta was completely drowned in ok sauce. Then we had fresh filled pasta also with beef (same texture) and a tomato sauce. This was completely tasteless and not cooked properly, as it was still very sour, just like you would expect from a can of pureed tomatoes. We were really very disappointed here, as we are experienced visitors to Italian restaurants and wanted to make the trip to Beuel. When making the selection in Bonn, we don't know whether we will manage to give a second chance, so the first impression actually has to be right...

Staff cant speak any other languages then germany. Service was just so bad they mixed up every order .

Several things have made this a rather bad experience. Firstly you can't pay with non-german cards. The owner was really uncooperative and complained about the PayPal payment. Secondly The waiter did not take our order right and the food was mediocre at best. Lastly the prices on the site and in the restaurant were different.

I liked the interior, but not the food and service at all. In my opinion it is a very touristy place and the food doesn't taste particularly good. The pizza was just lukewarm and very hard. I think the food looks much better in the pictures than it tastes. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it.

Leckere Pizza Vulcano, Nudelgerichte sahen aber auch sehr gut aus. Es hat ein wenig an Salz gefehlt, aber dafür stehen ja Pfeffer und Salz am Tisch. sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Gerne wieder. :-)

Aufmerksames Personal. Ambiente spricht mich nicht an. Ist mir zu offen gestaltet. Essen ist "Standard", aber noch Luft nach oben. Parkmöglichkeiten schlecht, lediglich Tiefgarage.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, hat unsere Fragen zum Wein und zum Essen kompetent beantwortet und es gab keine lange Wartezeiten. Die Pizza sizilianische Art und die Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Pizza mit Calamari war ausgezeichnet, schon lange nicht mehr solch eine leckere Pizza gegessen. Ambiente innen sehr schön, eine sehr schöne große Terrasse außen. Service war super, vielen Dank und bis bald. Wir hätten gerne am 26.8. unsere Geburtstage gefeiert, aber leider ist das Restaurant schon ausgebucht. Ich denke das spricht für sich 💐

Unfreundlich. Falsches Bier mitgebracht :"Ach das schmeckt ja auch". Wo ist der alte Service, den man von früher kennt?

Für mich gibt es dort die beste Lasagne. Fruchtig, wenig Béchamelsoße und in der Mitte auch heiß. Giovanni ist immer freundlich und Zeit für ein Schwätzchen. Keine Hektik.... schön, hier gibt es auch noch den Absacker aufs Haus. Das scheint ja kaum noch gemacht zu werden in Zeiten des Sparens.

Alles ok. Verhältnismäßig zur Bedienung bzw. Inhaber freundschaftlich. Essen lecker und Platz auf der Terrasse mittags entspannend.

War am Wochenende das erste mal dort! Und sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Am Anfang war ich skeptisch, weil belebte Straßen in der Nähe sind! Aber auf der Terrasse konnten wir gut und lange sitzen und auch miteinander reden! Und das Team war klasse

Die beste sizilianische Küche, die ich je kennenlernen durfte. Es hat so lecker geschmeckt. Sind zufällig hier gelandet. Aber das wird unser Stammitaliener. Kann ich ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass ihr enttäuscht werdet. Probiert es aus. Vom Service bis zum Essen stimmte einfach alles.

Wirklich erstaunlich lecker gegessen und der Service war auch TOP. Sieht von außen etwas einfacher aus, aber Reingehen lohnt sich.
