Great food in a great atmosphere

We spontaneously visited the restaurant today, and despite the full house, they found a solution for us. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy. I've rarely eaten so well, and we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We wanted to spend our lunch break here and eat outside. The waiter saw us heading into the restaurant but ignored us, so we sat down at one of the three free tables. We waited and were still ignored; the third time we at least got a "hello". But that was it, no "I'll be right with you" or "I'll clean the table right away". Then he walked past us again and since our time was limited, we ended up leaving. Not even then did he try to stop us. A few meters further on, in the restaurant of the former chef of this place, this has never happened to us. Unfortunately, he is on vacation at the moment and we wanted to try something new.

Thanks to the A Casa team for the wonderful evening. Top again!!! This isn't our first time at Ristorante a Casa and we're always impressed. It's a pleasure to watch how the A Casa team prepares the food and the passion with which they advise you on the wine selection. Everything fits perfectly, right down to the philosophy of this small restaurant, namely staying authentic. We believe this plays a large part in why we keep coming back and have now even convinced guests we invited to join us to come back. A big compliment to the team for staying the way we got to know them, and for being able to rely on every dish being prepared with love and therefore tasting fantastic, including the quality and value for money. Up until now, we've only used top-quality products for our meals, hence the 5 stars. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. It's worth noting that we're not rating uncomfortable high chairs, as some comments suggest, since you could have just as easily sat at a table with regular chairs. It's also perhaps up to you to decide whether you want to sit at the high tables and watch the team cook, and therefore, in my opinion, you can't expect a high chair to be the same as a comfortable chair. But as I said, that doesn't influence our rating, as we're concerned with the atmosphere, the service, and the food. And as I mentioned, it's always been top-notch so far (our last visit was on April 15, 2023). So, dear a Casa team, keep up the good work, and we'll be back until we can't travel anymore :-)

A culinary getaway to Italy – simply heavenly! I'm rarely speechless, but this restaurant truly captivated me! From the moment I entered, I felt like I was in a small trattoria somewhere in Tuscany – welcoming, warm, and inviting. The atmosphere is authentically Italian, with great attention to detail, without being cheesy. The food? An absolute dream! Every dish tastes as if it had been freshly prepared by an Italian nonna with decades of experience. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection al dente, the tomato sauce fruity and aromatic, the pizza crispy with a dough that had been left to rise for hours – simply perfect! The antipasti were also a revelation: fresh, refined, and full of flavor. The burrata deserves special mention – so creamy, so tender, so good, I almost shed a tear. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. You can tell that the food here is passionate and heartfelt – both in the kitchen and in the service. This restaurant is an absolute must for anyone who loves and appreciates authentic Italian cuisine. You won't find customized tourist fare here, but rather honest, passionately prepared dishes, just like in Italy itself. I'll definitely be back – and bring all my friends next time! 5 out of 5 stars – if I could, I'd give it 10!

The server was very friendly, the pizzas were excellent, and the bruschetta was fresh and crispy. The value for money was reasonable. We'd be happy to come back!

Sat comfortably outside. There was carpaccio, pizza parma, salmon with vegetables and veltins as well as coffee l macchiato. Top service and first class food.

In August, after the registry office, we were at Martino's in a Casa with a small group of people and everyone was completely satisfied and happy! From the food to the service and the prior arrangement, everything went smoothly and uncomplicated, including when it came to children's chairs and our own decorating. Requests for changes were also no problem. All guests were impressed by Pasquale’s friendly service and highly praised the food! 😊 With the starter at the table we were even surprised with one or two treats! We opted for a good mix of vegetarian and meat. The value for money was wonderful. We have been satisfied guests of a Casa for years. Kind regards and thanks to the team! 😊 Update: After the civil ceremony, grandma's birthday was also celebrated at a Casa. Everything went smoothly there too and everyone was happy! 😊 The starters were served at the table as suggested and the main course was a la carte. Thank you!

very, very nice restaurant in a small, quiet cul-de-sac. Staff very, very friendly. Dogs were also very welcome. We sat outside and our dog also got something to drink. The food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait too long for our pizzas to arrive. Before that we got 5 small homemade rolls for free with a dip that were very good, the dip was also really tasty, the prices weren't too expensive and the food was just that Hammer! We'd love to come back!

Well, what can you say about that? Ordered a pizza, got another one, the pasta was cooked way too soft and the melted sauce was just butter.🫣

Ich komme regelmäßig mit Freunden oder Familie in dieses kleine italienische Restaurant und fühle mich hier wie zuhause. Das Essen ist sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Der Chef hat gute Empfehlungen und geht auch auf Extrawünsche ein. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Im Sommer sitzen wir gerne draußen und genießen ein kleines Stück Bella Italia. Mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener!

Very friendly service, we had carpacchio and vitello tonnato, both of which were very good and the sea bream on lentil vegetables was excellent! The tiramisu was too dry for our taste. But I'd still like to go back!

Ambiente: im vorderen Bereich mit offener Küche sehr eng, der hintere Bereich wird nur abends genutzt, offene Küche vorne, dadurch riecht die Kleidung später immer nach Essen. Service: aufmerksam Speisen und Getränke: einfach, aber gut: italienische Landküche Schöne preiswertere Mittagskarte. Im Sommer gibt es einen Außenbereich. Zahlung bar oder mit EC Karte.

Das Essen ist großartig. Ein Blick auf die Tageskarte lohnt sich immer! Der Service ist immer sehr liebevoll und persönlich. Ein Mini-Abzug für das Ambiente, der der Gesamtbewertung keinen Abbruch tun soll, weil es leider ein bisschen eng ist.

Das Lokal ist sehr klein, deshalb sollte man reservieren! Essen und Service sind aber hervorragend😁 und die Preise sind angemessen! Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, werden aber bestimmt wieder dort essen.

Sehr freundlicher Service hatten Pizza gegessen die hat auch geschmeckt das Tiramisu war nicht der Hit geschmacklich langweilig und nichts sagend es fehlte die Liebe im Detail Ambiente gemütlich bis auf den Krim Krams was da zu verkaufen steht Schuhe, kleider etc. das gehört nicht in einem Restaurant

Immer wieder sehr gerne. Kleine, gemütliche Pizzeria mit italienischen Flair. Waren gestern mal wieder dort und einfach nur begeistert. Die hausgemachten, vegetarischen Ravioli waren ein Gedicht. Und die Salate und Vorspeisen, wie immer frisch und lecker. Und das bei einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Von uns endlich mal die verdienten 5 Sterne.

Sehr lecker, und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Erstklassiges Essen in sehr gemütlichem Ambiente. Einziger Nachteil: das Restaurant liegt mitten in der Fußgängerzone und das Parken in der Umgebung ist eine Herausforderung.

Diese zufällige Entdeckung war ein warer Glücksfall. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch. Der Service war aufmerksam, kompetent und super freundlich. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war großartig. Leider ist der Weg von Hamburg nach Essen zu weit um öfter zu kommen. Es war ein großes Vergnügen. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Wir sind nur durch Zufall auf dieses Lokal gestoßen und wurden angenehm überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war super freundlich. Die Weinempfehlung vom Chef war top.

Ein sehr schönes Rustikales Restaurant 👍🥰 Man muss vorher einen Tisch bestellen sonst bekommt man keinen Platz . Essen sehr lecker , nur 1:30 Stunden ca drauf gewartet😔 . Wer gerade keine Gelegenheit hat, nach Italien zu reisen, braucht das auch nicht, um authentisch italienisch zu essen. Sie/er kann auch direkt ins Ristorante a Casa gehen. Dort bekommt man italienisches gewohnt tolles leckeres Essen ohne " mehr Schein als Sein" .

Ottimo ristorante italiano. Noi trovato per caso. Si era per affari ad Essen. Il proprietario e personale molto cordiale. Noi abbiamo mangiato un ottimo antipasto Sardo 🥰 e delle lumache al pomodoro piccante 😋i primi erano ottimi (tagliatella ai porcini un raviolo aripieno ai porcini e una spaghettata alla "parmigiana") possiamo solo consigliare. E sicuramente torneremo.😉

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hier hin, jedes Mal ist das Essen wirklich super, das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis top und der Service ebenfalls sehr nett und gut. Mittlerweile gibt es nicht mehr sehr viele Restaurants in denen sowohl Preis als auch Leistung stimmt, deswegen eine klare Empfehlung für die Casa.

Die Casa ist das beste Restaurant in Essen, wenn nicht sogar im Ruhrgebiet. Das Essen schmeckt immer hervorragend, wir fühlen uns immer wohl. Der Service ist on point, der Chef ist authentisch und sehr sympathisch. Die empfohlenen korrespondierenden Weine sind jedes Mal hervorragend. Ich empfehle die Casa unbedingt weiter. Tipp: Reservierung ist erforderlich.
