Typical Italian restaurant, with great service and very tasty food

Suitable for tourists who are visiting the city and also for those who live in the city. Few stops away from the main station yet located also in a very nice vibrant area of Düsseldorf. Arrived there but wasn’t satisfied with the reserved table location, Luigi was super amazing and moved us to a nicer table. His service was wonderful throughout the night. Try the Tartars as starters if you are a fan of Tartars. Implacable!!! The sauce is second to none and the meat used is wow. I had a Caesar salad with chicken strips as a main dish, ( they didn’t fail to prepare it right) my partner had Tagliatelle Hanks. En point ! Caesar salad dressing was superb and the Tagliatelle and the meat in it were wow! As we were celebrating a special occasion, Luigi, made sure that we have received a nice greeting compliments of the restaurant. Must say thank you for Michael aus Egypt and the wonderful gentleman with red eyeglasses who have plenty years of experience for being so attentive and friendly. A warm place. Delicious food and good service is a must recommend when in Düsseldorf. Car parking is not available but you can park in the hotel parking next door

Nach einem Spaziergang in Pempelfort haben wir ein Esslokal über TripAdvisor gesucht und sind kurz entschlossen in dieses Lokal gegangen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Essen sensationell und das Bier zum Schluss gigantisch. Wir kommen wieder.

I was there on November 9, 2024 with a couple who were friends of mine Our visit was a total failure. Why? We conclude that employees were completely overwhelmed and served the wrong wines. For example, instead of a Bardolino, I was given the same wine as my wife, namely a rosé, although my wife had previously been brought a red wine. Then the Bardolino was not available, alternative wines suggested could not be explained which grape variety they were based on. Here a young, very nice, hard-working colleague has to explain to the others what is meant by grape variety. The husband of the couple who were friends was then given a plate with the information that it was the Muscovy duck, but it was the halibut because no one had ordered it. Then he was asked if it was okay with him, which he of course said no. The barbarian duck with mashed potatoes and chestnut red wine sauce that we got was honestly not particularly edible in my opinion, why? Because the Barbary duck consisted of a lot of fat, which could only be separated to a limited extent because the sauce was poured completely over it, I also had pieces that weren't even fully cooked through, the mashed potatoes were really a simple mash, which I definitely preferred So I really missed nutmeg or other seasoning somehow, and from my point of view the sauce was relatively tasteless and I can make it better at home as a dark sauce with the appropriate red wine reduction. The Limoncello that was then announced and then Amaretto, which was announced that the drink was not available, was finally replaced by a herbal liqueur with the comment that the employee first wanted to bring it with her and then said that she didn't feel like drinking this drink herself. The bill that we had requested came with a separation between the two couples and a list of wine that we had not even ordered and that had been served by them in error. A meal voucher that we had brought with us was also not taken into account and we therefore had to complain first in order to get a final correct billing, which was not separated at the end. I have rarely experienced such a catastrophic outcome in an Italian restaurant that appeared to be of high quality. So it was definitely the last visit there for me

Hello, I was just eating with a business customer, the food was very tasty, everything was perfect... but we still had almost half of the starter on our plate when the waiter said to us as we walked past... What were they smoking haha ​​the food (main course is already ready) was then simply placed on the table and the rest of the starter was pushed onto a small plate. We would have liked to take a little break. When I wanted to pay, because it's business... you don't usually pay in cash, I was really shocked that I can't pay with a debit card these days. Maybe I can still understand credit cards, but EC... seems a bit like that in Italians ⚫️ I'm disappointed and won't be coming back. I also couldn't find any note or indication that you can only pay in cash. It's a shame, the food is delicious but otherwise, it's a shame.

Brilliantly prepared fresh fish, friendly service. The decor is quite rustic and has seen its best days. Maybe not the right place for a romantic evening, but if you like eating fish, this is the place for you.

We were looking forward to the goose and were bitterly disappointed: everything was warmed up except for the chestnuts, which were cold. The goose leg had a soft skin, not crispy. Red cabbage was not freshly cooked, the apple and the toilet were undetectable. Nothing was recommended, only the service was, as usual, very accommodating and competent.

We are regular customers here! The owners always treat us perfectly, and the food is great!
