**Unfassbar unhöfliches Personal und respektloser Chef** Ich war vor kurzem im Spaghetti & Stars in Düsseldorf und muss sagen, dass ich selten so eine enttäuschende Erfahrung gemacht habe. Als meine Bekannte den Kellner auf einen möglichen Rabatt ansprach, konnte er damit nichts anfangen und verschwand ohne weitere Erklärung. Kurz darauf kam jemand, der sich offensichtlich als Verantwortlicher des Restaurants sah, und hat sie in einem unglaublich unfreundlichen Ton beschimpft. Anstatt die Situation höflich zu klären, wurde sie regelrecht angefahren, als hätte sie etwas Unverschämtes verlangt. Nachdem ich meine Erfahrungen online geteilt hatte, bat mich der Chef, Herr Antonio Impagnatiello, um einen Rückruf, um den Sachverhalt gütlich zu klären. Leider verlief das Gespräch alles andere als freundlich. Statt einer Entschuldigung wurde ich erneut beschimpft und mir wurde sogar mit rechtlichen Schritten gedroht, sollte ich meine Bewertung nicht löschen. Es wurde mir weiterhin unterstellt, ich sei bei meinem Besuch betrunken gewesen – eine völlig haltlose und beleidigende Anschuldigung. Dass der Chef des Restaurants solch eine Mentalität vorlebt, sagt alles über den Umgang mit den Gästen in diesem Etablissement. Respekt und Kundenfreundlichkeit scheinen hier Fremdwörter zu sein. Ich kann dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen, der Wert auf einen respektvollen Umgang legt.

We visited the restaurant after moving to Hansallee, but I liked the old location better because it was more comfortable. We had a small antipasti plate that tasted very good, the bread is really great. For the main course we had a very good tagliata and a veal schnitzel, the quality was generally okay, but the price was quite ambitious.

This blonde older waitress is so unsympathetic and unfriendly. The other Italian waiters are always in a good mood and you feel comfortable being served by them. But this blonde doesn't fit in at all and doesn't represent this store at all. I don't actually write negative reviews, but today she was so cheeky with her stupid sayings that it had to be done! I can't imagine that I'm the first to complain about you. The customers around me also received some flippant or cheeky comments. UPDATE 8/14/24: Hello Ute, In my entire review I only made one admittedly somewhat derogatory comment about your appearance. And that's just to describe you. However, I have now removed this comment. But I find it very unprofessional of you to just stick to this one statement. The waitress, who I'm sure you know who I'm talking about, behaves disrespectfully towards the guests. And multiple times! I think all the likes on this post prove me right. In your long answer you don't discuss this once and indirectly blame me because I could have gone straight to the boss. If you're there with your whole family, you might not feel like any more stress on site and just leave the store. If you'd like, I'll come over alone and then we'll have a conversation between you, the waitress, the boss and me.

This restaurant is highly recommended! The ambience is extremely elegant and upscale. The outstanding main courses - pizza mortadella with pistachio cream and burrata and the spaghetti Sophia Loren - were exceptionally delicious. The homemade panna cotta and mousse au chocolat rounded off a lovely evening perfectly. The waiter Ben knew how to impress with his attentive service. We'll be back soon.

I had truffle pasta, which tasted very very average. Starters were better. But nothing spectacular. Place looks nice, very friendly and nice staff.

While some people find the old location more charming and the new location in the hotel not so great, I find it more spacious just in terms of space. In my opinion, the menu and the food have improved again compared to before. You can really eat anything here, from pizza and pasta to steak and fish like sole. My favorites here are the (Salsiccia) risotto and the beef spaillard, which is really perfect. The price is a bit higher, but in my opinion completely acceptable

Some time ago we were with a group at Spaghetti and Stars and were treated strangely from the start. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were told several times that we couldn't keep the table for long, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. An older waitress was particularly unfriendly to us, which spoiled our evening. A friend ordered a tuna pizza without onions, but it was still served with onions. When we pointed out the blame was shifted to us and the waitress simply wanted to remove the onions in front of us instead of remaking the pizza. Although the food was tasty and the prices were normal for the area, we will not be visiting this restaurant again due to this negative experience.

Wenn man denkt an die penetrante italienische Art, dann findet man sie gerade hier! Nervigen Keller mit einer aufgesetzten Freundlichkeit- halt primitive, muss man noch ertragen? Alle 2 Minuten am Tisch zu hören mit so einer kratzigen Stimme, richtig Horror-Erlebnis! Etwas Schulung würde ihm nicht schaden, und die guten Manieren trainieren wie man mit Gästen umgehen sollte, vor allem weiblichen!

Individual guests don't seem to be welcome there. My attempt to order food there failed because of a demonstratively disinterested waiter who kept ignoring me (I had to actively demand that the menu be brought back), so I didn't have the opportunity to place my order. The table of four, which arrived shortly after me, was served quickly and politely. I then voluntarily cleared the field. What's the point of being there if you're not welcome? My impression was that if I had been a man I would have been treated differently.

Amazing restaurant, amazing service, very friendly, great food

If you prefer to have dinner at some trendy restaurant placed in a nice neighborhood then this is your place. The food is tasty, I can't say it's spectacular, but the relaxing and casual atmosphere where you can chit-chat makes the overall experience very good. Good choice for business dinner and for the first date with the girl you want to impress.

The food was delicious and with a clear view of the kitchen it was a pleasure to see that they are a dedicated team and well oiled machine! Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff! Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Ten minutes after being seated we were being ignored and had to literally catch a ‘flying waiter’ to ask for menus, and then another ten minute wait to place our drinks and food order. Call us pedantic but drinks are usually offered first while you peruse the menu, right? Had to ask for bread basket twice. Food did arrive in good time and was fresh and hot, However it then took another age to flag down a waiter to place an order for dessert. We asked for the bill, which came ‘surprisingly’ very promptly! We were then informed , “Service is not included, what do you want to pay for that?” 😂 No chance! We have dined at many great restaurants in Düsseldorf, we tip generously when deserved. Service charge should be earned and not expected.

I like to go to this restaurant because the food is very high quality, the location is top, the service is very professional and the atmosphere from 9 p.m. with live music is great! I can't say anything about the price either, value for money is definitely OK!

Wow, what a brilliant evening. My birthday was celebrated with 16 people. All dishes arrived at the same time in top quality. Drink service was attentive and quick. Top class! My guests were thrilled; many of them didn't know spaghetti and stars before. The DJ was also great and responded to requests.

Teure Diskothek mit Restaurant Wir waren mit Freunden und Geschäftspartnern an einem Samstag im Spaghetti & Stars. Vorweg: Wir kennen das Restaurant seit vielen Jahren, als es noch in der alten Location war. Wir waren vor etwa zwei Monaten schon mal in der neuen Location, die direkt an ein neues Hotel in Oberkassel angebunden ist. schon zum letzten Zeitpunkt waren wir nicht sonderlich begeistert, wollten uns aber trotzdem noch eine zweite Meinung bilden. Die Location als solche ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Restaurant ist sehr groß und war sehr gut besucht. Es gibt zusätzlich eine große Bar, an der nach oder vor dem Essen schön sitzen kann und die auch gut besucht war. Es wurde dort auch getanzt. Das Restaurant verfügt zusätzlich auch über Hochtische. Meine Geschäftspartnerin bestellte sich eine Weißweinschorle, da sie anschließend noch Autofahren musste. Die Weißweinschorle bestand hauptsächlich aus Mineralwasser und einem Hauch von Weißwein. Aus dem Preis (erst bei der Rechnung ersichtlich) hätte sich ein umgekehrtes Mischungsverhältnis schließen lassen. Zwei Gläser kosteten € 19.00 (!) Da teilweise Autofahrer teilweise Autofahrer unter uns waren, haben haben wir den Wein glasweise bestellt, Kosten: ab € 11,50 (!) pro Glas. Die Preise online auf der Weinkarte sind nicht mehr ganz aktuell. Es gab Eingang einen kleinen Teller mit Brot, Olivenpaste und Quark. Auf dem Tisch stand auch ein kleinerer Teller, allerdings gab es keine entsprechenden Messer, sondern man musste die Messer verwenden, die eigentlich für die Vorspeise und/oder den Hauptgang gedacht waren. Umso irritierender war es, dass wir das Messer beim Servieren der Vorspeise in der Hand behalten mussten und kein neues Besteck bekamen. Bei einer Pizzeria würde ich das noch nachsehen, aber bei einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse ein völliges Unding. Die Vorspeisen waren gut und im Preis deutlich gehoben (Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen: € 37,50). Kaum hatten wir die Vorspeise gegessen, trat plötzlich gegen 21:20 Uhr ein Discjockey auf und das Spaghetti und Stars verwandelte sich schlagartig in eine Diskothek. Gespielt wurde ein Mix aus italienischen Chansons, ABBA und Pop/Rock und dass in einer Lautstärke, die jede Unterhaltung unmöglich machte. Die Hauptspeise (Gamberoni alla Griglia - € 49,00) und das gemischte Fleisch (Carne mista - € 49,00) waren gut, die Kalbsleber (€ 28,50) war jedoch paniert und ziemlich fad. Zudem verlief die Hauptspeise ohne jegliche Kommunikation untereinander, was der extrem lauten Musik zu verdanken war. Ein Paar am Nachbartisch bestätigte unseren Eindruck und beendete die Hauptspeise und ging vorzeitig. Auch wir verzichteten gerne auf ein Dessert und gingen unmittelbar der Hauptspeise. Die Rechnung betrug knapp € 400,00 (!) und das ohne zwei Flaschen Wein. Faszit: Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen, dafür gibt es in Düsseldorf und auch in Oberkassel einfach zu viele gute Restaurants. Preis/Leistung stimmen hier einfach nicht mehr überein, die überlaute Musik ist eine Zumutung. Die überteuerten Preise sind sicherlich nicht nur der Tatsache, der über dem Tarif bezahlten Mitarbeiter und der Qualität der Zutaten zu verdanken. Der Diskjockey und die großen Räumlichkeiten in einem Neubau müssen schließlich auch bezahlt werden. Wie das Restaurant an Platz 16 von 1221 Düsseldorfer Restaurant stehen kann, bleibt allen Beteiligten ein Rätsel.

The location of the restaurant was good, but there is no parking. It was disappointing that a deposit of €250 via credit card was required to reserve a table. Food and service were average. I would even say good. But the table was booked for at least 3 hours of a birthday celebration. The order was for 7 people and children. Our check was for a decent amount. After 2 hours the administrator came and started kicking us all out. He said you have to leave the restaurant .since this table was already reserved by other people, it was not polite on the part of the staff. After a dialogue with them, we were allowed to move all the plates to one table. since we ordered many dishes and they were not eaten. The prices definitely seemed too high for the quality offered. Considering the prices, we expected a richer taste; polite service. The service seemed rude, although the restaurant was not particularly busy.. At the same time, everything was planned and paid for by us.. no one had ever seen anything like this. shock. Unfortunately, we will not recommend this establishment.

We had to argue with the waiter that chorizo ​​was definitely not ham – twice. Drinks were only replenished moderately. We didn't have any drinks at the table for at least 20 minutes. I can't understand the other positive reviews at all. As a starter we had the stuffed calamari for a whopping €25. When these were served we thought it was a joke because there were two measly calamari on the plate. I've never seen anything like it for this price. For the main course I had the carbonara, which had nothing in common with an authentic Italian carbonara. Stretched with cream and instead of using an original guanciale, it was preferred to use conventional, average bacon. Since the menu states that only eggs, guanciale and parmesan are used, I asked the waiter again whether that was actually the case. The waiter told me that it contains bacon as well as guanciale. Cream is apparently not used. I've been to Rome several times and eaten quite a few carbonaras and this was definitely not a guanciale and it used 100% cream. For the price of €18.50 an absolute disappointment and not recommended. I suspect that some people are dazzled by the restaurant's chic interior and this is how the many positive reviews come about.

A vegetarian pizza costs between 20-25 euros and almost 40 euros for the salmon - we found that unreasonable. Given the prices, we would have expected a more intense taste experience. The service seemed rushed and inattentive, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy.

We were on a business trip at Dusseldorf trade fair and were eager for some good food. We checked out the options at Tripadvisor for a restaurant outside of the odl town center but close enogh to the fair. Of course we did’t eant any fast food. And we found this restaurant and won the jack-pot 😊 The service and the food are delightful ❤️

The food is okay, but not outstanding and too expensive. The location is nice, but very loud.

Absolute Frechheit. Total überteuert. Ein Bier Euro 7,50. Service total unaufmerksam. Es gab zwei Speisekarten. Einmal scheinbar noch eine ,alte‘ und dann eine neue. Preisunterschied über 20% erhöht. Ich würde selber da nie wieder hingehen und kann das auch keinem empfehlen. Reine Abzocke

We had a mixed starter and 2 pasta dishes, which were quite average but not special. The service was the same. Ambiance - nicely decorated, great bar and drinks. Unfortunately, later on it got so loud with a DJ that you could hardly have a conversation. You should just know. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't quite suit me.

On a rainy day, four of us were in downtown Düsseldorf. After a few hours of walking and shopping, we were hungry and looked for a good Italian restaurant and came across Spaghetti & Stars and then made our way there. When we got there a waitress was already smoking in front of the door, that's not necessarily the case, but that's a good thing. Immediately after entering the restaurant we asked a waiter if there was still room for 4 and we were immediately told off with the excuse that everything was fully booked. A second waiter quickly came over and then asked how long we would need. Apparently there was still a table available but it had to be free again at 7:20 p.m. Since we just wanted to eat something, we said that it wouldn't be a problem for us and we were then shown to the table. At the very beginning, the waitress who was still smoking at the entrance came and handed us the wine list, but since none of us drink, we politely declined, which apparently wasn't right, because after that it became more and more absurd. When it came time to order the dishes, the waitress didn't write anything down and then walked away, but then came back two minutes later to ask if she had remembered the order correctly. While we were waiting for our food, a few starters came to the table. When we asked what was in them, we replied very smugly: “Olives, you can see that.” So much for the things to do before dinner. The best is yet to come, because when we finally got our food, everything was topped again. I had ordered a tuna pizza without onions, which also happened to be the order in which I was asked 30 minutes beforehand whether it was correct, but then it arrived with onions. We then kindly pointed out to the waitress that the pizza should have been without onions. However, the waitress defended herself and claimed that she had asked yes and we had reassured her that there would be onion, which is strange because me and my colleague ordered the same pizza, both without onion, and his arrived without it too. I was then offered to get a second plate so that I could then scrape off the onion myself and put it on the other plate, because preparing a new pizza would take a long time. That was by no means an option and, in my opinion, an impertinence. We insisted on a new pizza, but it was prepared and served relatively quickly. At the end, when we wanted to pay, the last bang of the evening happened, as it should. When I wanted to pay for my pizza, I was informed that I didn't have to pay the amount that was on the receipt because the onion surcharge was included there. All right, I thought. However, the waitress continued and said that she would then have to pay out of her own pocket, which in my opinion was/was a completely unnecessary statement. The waitress's facial expressions and gestures also made me suspect that she wanted to evoke some sympathy so that I would pay for it, but she didn't do it because it wasn't my fault. That was my experience in this restaurant and I think it was a shame that it turned out that way because we were really looking forward to the food. Would I go there again? I don't believe. It's actually a shame because the restaurant itself and the food weren't bad.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good pizza. However, the price for a Frutti di Mare is comparatively too high at €25.

Delicious food in a chic atmosphere. Unfortunately caught an arrogant waiter. We weren't asked once if everything was okay or anything like that. The feeling wasn't very personal.

Was okay. Hype Italian who sells reasonable food - I don't understand the rest. Nice location, food is ok but not breathtaking. You can do it. The waiter lacks certain forms of politeness (you only clear away when everyone has eaten) and the audience is a bit “involved in Oberkassel”. The steak was really very good and recommended!

The restaurant is well located and nicely decorated. The service is attentive and the dishes are very good. We would be happy to come back, dear Toni

Definitely the best Restaurant in Düsseldorf! Delicious, superb quality Italian food with a hint of fusion. The atmosphere was amazing, the owner super hospitable and the team was above our expectations. Totally recommend and a must when you are in Düsseldorf. Grazie Mille a tutti⭐️

Essen war wirklich lecker und der Service top, ABER selbst für Oberkassel sind 4,90 Euro für eine 0,2 Cola und 6,50 Euro für eine Saftschorle unfassbar.

Kein gutes Essen und viel zu überteuert für diese Qualität. Nicht zu empfehlen. Bedienung sehr nett

Yesterday I went to Spaghetti & Stars for dinner with my girlfriend for the first time. We were greeted quickly and warmly and shown straight to our seat. The atmosphere is very nice and the employees are super friendly. The menu is very varied. After ordering our main course, we didn't wait 10 minutes and our food was already there. We ordered pasta and were more than happy with our choice. The dessert platter was also super tasty. A big thank you again to our waiter Nino for the great service :) I will definitely come again. The only point of criticism is the volume of the music. Sometimes we couldn't talk because the music was too loud.

Unfortunately, our stay there was not as happy as expected. First, our companion was sent from table to table with the words: She wasn't important enough to stay at the table where she was expelled. The food was perfectly fine. There was nothing to complain about. Furthermore, in the middle of eating, my plate was taken away from me with the words that I was finished now. Then at some point we were all turned away from the table because they needed it for new guests. We should sit at the bar. But then no one served us there anymore. Since we went there with good expectations, it was ultimately very disappointing, at least in terms of service and customer satisfaction.

Der Laden ist echt riesig. Trotzdem sollte man vorab reservieren. Wir kamen um 19h und es war bereits rappelvoll. Die Karte präsentiert einen schönen Querschnitt der italienischen Küche. Hinzu kommen ein paar Tagesempfehlungen. Es passt. Mein Risotto kam lecker auf den Tisch, ebenso wie die Dorade danach. Insgesamt hat aber eine wohlige Atmosphäre gefehlt. Lag es an dem Speed der servierten Speisen, oder dem übervollen Laden? Irgendwas fehlte für den fünften Punkt der Bewertung.

Food was ok, the distance from starter to main course was too long. Almost 1 hour lasted! The espresso was lukewarm!!

Das Ambiente verspricht zwar einiges, doch war es leider im Ganzen eine einzige Enttäuschung. Der Service war arrogant und unfreundlich und das Essen eher durchschnittlich. Bedauerlicherweise stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in keinster Weise. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen, obwohl es für uns so komfortabel wäre.

Super Abend , zum späteren Teil leider sehr laut . Wir konnten uns dann kaum noch unterhalten. ( es hat ein DJ aufgelegt ) Super Wein und Champagner Auswahl. Auch auf der Speisekarte fehlt es an nichts
