We spontaneously fancied Italian food, and what can we say… a family-run restaurant where everything was just perfect. Every dish was delicious, and for me, they were the best tortellini I've had in ages. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful spontaneous evening! 🤗🙌🏼

A really charming Italian restaurant on Luisenstraße. Making the reservation by phone was very friendly and made me eager to try it. The food was also excellent: fresh pasta, delicious sauce, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect!

We were there today. The food arrived wrong a few times and was of very poor quality (pasta was brown because it was warmed up again). Overpriced and sometimes a rip-off. We wouldn't recommend it.

Been here for the 3rd time and we make it our annual outing. Always fun, delicious food and great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, even when they are busy. We love coming there 😁

Serata tranquilla fra amici, antipasto misto molto buono e ricco con una mozzarella freschissima, molto difficile trovare da queste parti. Primi piatti strepitosi ed abbondanti . Un tiramisù da Oscar, a confermato la tradizione dei proprietari Pugliese. Alla fine il cuoco titolare si è venduto a sedere con noi deliziandoci con un limoncello artigianale fatto da lui. Che dire lo consiglio a tutti quelli che vanno a Dusseldorf o per vacanza o lavoro.

A small but very cozy restaurant

Unassuming place in the heart of Düsseldorf, as soon as you walk into the restaurant you immediately feel like you're in Italy. The authentic smell of Italian cuisine immediately made me hungry. The service was very kind and respectful and the food was really more than just good. My friends said that they don't eat pasta outside, but when they tried it they couldn't believe how good and authentic it tasted. A recommendation for anyone who loves Italian cuisine!! Feel free to come back here!

On Saturday the tenth we went to the cute restaurant Trattoria Luisa. We were warmly welcomed. The service was great, mother and daughter were very accommodating. I grilled the Gamberonis. These were exactly on point. My friend had the sea bream which tasted very good. What was amazing, of course, was the bread, which we had to order twice because it was so delicious. Tasty dishes, friendly service, good value for money. The portions are not very large, but for that price you can certainly have a starter or dessert.

I have enjoyed fine Italian cuisine in restaurants all over the U.S. and Italy, a couple of which had Michelin stars associated with their chefs. Trattoria Luisa, in Düsseldorf Germany provided an excellent Italian meal that rivaled the best. We started with Antipasto Misto that was beautifully plated and perfectly prepared. The squid was tender and flavorful. The pasta dishes balanced tradition with originality. The Tortellini Panna e Prosciutto had a hint of sweetness from pear which played well with the saltiness of the prosciutto. The Scaloppina Al Vino Bianco was perfectly, traditionally prepared. All the dishes were fresh, inviting and flavorful. The wine that the chef recommended was from the same region of Southern Italy as the cuisine and the chef, and was wonderful. My husband and son finished the meal with a regional Grappa that they enjoyed. This is a family restaurant that takes pride in their food and their service. If I return to Dusseldorf, I will certainly return to Trattoria Luisa for another excellent meal.

Mi esposo e hijo terminaron la comida con una Grappa regional que disfrutaron. Este es un restaurante familiar que se enorgullece de su comida y su servicio. Si vuelvo a Dusseldorf, sin duda volveré a Trattoria Luisa para otra excelente comida.

Very nice restaurant, run by the family, the boss is still in the kitchen himself. Unfortunately we had a very long wait until the food was at the table, but we were compensated by the taste and quality of the food. We can only recommend this small restaurant and would be happy to come back.

Very authentic little Italian restaurant. Relaxed and informal atmosphere. Food is also very tasty and offers good value for money. Tiramisu is highly recommended... gourmet block was accepted. Nice and friendly service. Homemade limoncello was on the house. Next time you visit Düsseldorf we'll go there again😊

Original Italian cuisine and not an imitation, like most "Italians"

Hmmmm…difficult! We always wanted to try the trattoria and now we did. The Google review was tempting… but we honestly wonder why? 4.x rating points are almost incomprehensible... the food is no more than average, meat dishes are not recommended. Pasta is standard, pizza is always a matter of taste. The service is not very attentive on the part of the daughter of the house and the ambience is a disaster. The counter is overflowing with dirty glasses that no one can handle, and every corner behind the counter is stuffed full of something that no one wants to see when they want to go out for a relaxed meal in the evening. We've seen a lot... 3.x is realistic. Absolutely no more! Everyone get their own idea 🤷🏻‍♂️We let ourselves be led astray by Google, but ultimately the trattoria fits the situation it is in: no walkable location, unappealing outdoor area, arcade next door and below-average Indians next door. Unfortunately no recommendation 🥲

Nice, small family restaurant with a fair price-performance ratio. The employees were super nice and attentive. The pizzas were large portions, very thin crust, well topped and overall extremely tasty. We can only recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately I have to update the review. After several more visits, we unfortunately realized that it is incredibly loud inside and that it is difficult to have a conversation and that smokers are not told to move away from the door, so that the smell of tobacco comes in through the open door. Unfortunately, the service was also quite poor; something that we had ordered once was brought to us twice. The food also took quite a long time. Something that wasn't ordered was brought to the table next door and one of the chefs took a break to eat it. —————————————- We were able to get a table during the holiday season, otherwise we'd better reserve. To be honest, the atmosphere initially unsettled us a bit, as there were food splatters on the wall and the tablecloths had seen better days. But the service and food were so good that they overshadowed that. Waiters provide advice and give you the feeling that you will be welcomed as a regular guest in the future. The antipasti were very good, everything was warm and tasted freshly prepared and not left in the display case all day like many others. Upon request, the chef can even provide daily specials/recommendations to suit your taste. Real local classic Italian cuisine.

Advice especially calamar... I didn like much of pasta with sea stuff. The last shot formulated by the Mother of owner was also good.

Wir sind spontan hier zum Essen gewesen und hatten kurz vorher angerufen. Es war noch ein Tisch für uns frei. Wir waren zu viert und teilten uns zunächst 2 Portionen Bruschetta. Als Hauptgericht nahmen wir alle etwas anderes, 3 von uns verschiedene Tagesempfehlungen. Ich hatte frische Pasta, gewälzt im Parmesanlaib mit Trüffeln. Zum Nachtisch gönnten wir uns Tiramisu. Es schmeckte alles außerordentlich lecker. Zum Abschluss gab es Limoncello aufs Haus. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein, kommen wir wieder.

Das Essen ist immer wieder köstlich, der Wein ist toll ausgewählt. Hier bekommt man ein echtes italienisches Essen von hoher Qualität. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Hier kann man einen schönen Abend zu zweit oder mit Freunden verbringen.

Het eten was erg goed, gemaakt door Italiaanse chefs. De service was ook heel goed, de serveerder wist veel van het eten en de wijnen af. We hadden bijna het gevoel in Italië te zijn.

If you look for a cosy place in Dusseldorf to have dinner, please consider this Trattoria Luisa. Typical italian place, nicely decorated in a discret style. The food is as expected : fresh, al dente, generous. Wines are at a very decent price, and our Chianti Classico bottle was exactly how we thought it would be. Extra bonus : the people working here smile, they do their best to serve you and help you as much as they can (we have a little one who is noisy and…active!) and the dinner can end with Laura Pausini, which is not the worst that can happen…

Wir aßen Pasta und Pizza. Sowohl die Pasta als auch die Pizza haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt, wenngleich auch noch Luft nach oben ist. Eine klare Empfehlung von uns.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort, und sind total begeistert. Wenn wir nicht soweit entfernt wohnen würden wir wäre dies definitiv unser Stamm Italiener. Sehr freundliches Personal und zu keinster Zeit gestresst oder genervt. Essen war auch sehr lecker. Daumen hoch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr freundliche Inhaberin. Auch der Kellner war wirklich zuvorkommend. Trotz fehlender Reservierung am Wochenende problemlos noch einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl das Lokal eigentlich ausgebucht war.

Man darf es eigentlich nicht bewerten, dann geht ja jeder hin. Geheimtipp: Lammkarree mit Pasta im Parmesanlaib geschwenkt.

Sehr authentisches angenehmes rustikales Ambiente. Zur Begrüßung gab es warmes frisch gebackene Brot, mit guten Olivenöl, Salz und Pfeffer. Die Hauptgänge waren geschmackvoll, die Soßen würzig und cremig. Sehr zu Empfehlen sind die Tagliatelle Luisa und das hausgemachte Tiramisu. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Uns würde sogar ein hausgemachter Limoncello angeboten, sehr exquisit. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service fantastisch! Kommen gerne wieder!

Was soll ich sagen, eine wundervolle Trattoria. Typisch italienisch, ohne großen Schnickschnack bei der Einrichtung mit tollen Anipasti (das Vitello Tonnato ist ein Gedicht) und einer breiten Palette an italienischen Gerichten. Der Weinkeller ist gut bestückt (für jeden Geldbeutel, der Hauswein aus Apulien ist schon zu empfehlen) und auch Freunde von Grappa und Konsorten kommen auf ihre Kosten. Dazu Servicepersonal, welches den Begriff "Service" in den Genen trägt. Dazu gut zu erreichen in direkter Nähe zum Graf-Adolf-Platz. Unser neuer Lieblingsitaliener.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit viel italienischen Flair. Die Pizza und die Nudelgerichte waren sehr lecker und preislich OK. Das Steak war perfekt gebraten aber von der Fleischqualität eher mittelmäßig. Wenn das Restaurant voll besetzt ist, dann ist es leider sehr laut. Der Service ist sehr gut (ich glaube die Bedienung und der Koch sind auch die Besitzer). Kann man auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
