Fabulous dinner experience with the owner greeting the dinners and guests. Top shelf drinks, beer and wines. The seafood optiona with fresh pasta are well paired. Love it and will definitely return. Also, please be aware it is very loud inside.

I'm so sorry, because the owner is incredibly nice and polite, and the service is also really attentive, but... the carbonara was truly the worst I've ever had. 😢😢😢 And then we were offered a Doppio Passo Rosato Primitivo supermarket wine!! (€6 - €32 here) 🙈🙈🙈 What a shame, a real shame. 😭 The ambiance is modern and chic... but it also gets very loud the more guests come into the restaurant. Oh man, I'm so sorry.

A nice restaurant in the Media Harbor. However, the price reflects the location. Nevertheless, the food makes up for it: excellent carbonara. Unfortunately, there were two of us, and there were two larger groups there at the same time. Due to the smooth walls and ceilings, the sound isn't absorbed, and it quickly becomes very loud. The service is also good.

An Italian restaurant in Düsseldorf with a great wine list and food made with quality ingredients. The service is attentive, and one of the things I like is that they speak Spanish. It's located in the port area, in a neighborhood with many offices.

We came here to celebrate my fam‘s birthday 🎁 the service was very attentive and friendly, 5 stars. The bread was perfect, for starters we ordered the mixed plate and it was a bit „too much“ and expensive for 3 people. The lobster pasta were not al dente and a little bit undercooked for my personal taste. Otherwise it was delicious. 4 stars. Very nicely decorated restaurant - 5 stars. Thank you for having us! 🫶

The two of us were there on July 26, 2025, and were able to sit outside. The ambiance was very nice. The wine and appetizers were perfectly fine. The two main courses were a no-go. A disaster. Far too much salt—in the old days, you would have said the chef was in love. The seafood was tough, and the mussel meat was old. A shame about the food.

The food was spectacular! The dishes were creative. The salmon tartare, the tuna tartare, the Vitello Tonnato, the octopus, and the chocolate volcano were delicious. The service was first-rate! Daniel was very friendly… we were there twice in a row…

An Italian restaurant with simple decor. The service is attentive and friendly, especially the chef. The dishes we tried (bruschetta/spaghetti frutti di mare/grilled fish platter) were delicious. However, the salmon on the fish platter was a bit overcooked, and the presentation could be improved. The value for money is satisfactory.

The pasta was simply fantastic—perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with dish selection. I highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A wonderful restaurant experience! We sat outside on the terrace – wonderfully sheltered between the houses in the harbor, shady yet pleasantly airy. The welcome was very warm, and the ambiance was lovingly designed and cozy. Our waiter was the epitome of an Italian host: charming, attentive, and cheerful. The appetizers were not only a culinary highlight, but also beautifully presented. My fish was perfectly cooked, and the other dishes were also well received. The dessert – advertised as a cheese and pistachio cake – turned out to be a creamy dessert in a large bowl, more suited to sharing. Very filling, but also incredibly delicious! All in all, a highly recommended restaurant. Since Confettis in Düsseldorf closed, we've been looking for a worthy alternative – and I think we've found it here.

The Da Cla restaurant is an incredibly familiar place where you feel welcome from the first moment. The food is authentically Italian, with carefully selected ingredients and traditional recipes prepared with love. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and their warmth contributes to an all-round pleasant experience. The wine list is excellently put together and offers a wide selection of top Italian wines. I can particularly recommend the Cacio e Pepe with tuna tartare, an absolute highlight and a must for all gourmets! A visit to Da Cla is definitely highly recommended - here you can experience Italy at its best!

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Da Clà today and celebrating my best friend's birthday there - and it was just perfect! We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, and the service was exceptionally attentive and friendly throughout the evening. A particularly nice gesture was the Prosecco on the house to celebrate the birthday, as well as the delicious dessert that we were served as a surprise. The food was excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The starters and main courses were excellent, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was simply wonderful - stylish, cozy and just right for a special occasion. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful evening! We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

A chic but sterile Italian restaurant in Düsseldorf's harbor district - unfortunately typical for the media harbor, where everything is a little sterile, anonymous and touristy. Food was okay - but for this price you can get a much better dinner from many other Italian restaurants. But the service was very good and attentive!

I've been there twice now and am very satisfied. The restaurant is a hidden gem in Düsseldorf. One of the few places where you can still get a table every evening without a reservation. No matter where you sit, you have a view of the open kitchen. The food is very tasty, fresh and authentic. The menu has just the right amount of selection, so you have variety but aren't overwhelmed. Given the surroundings, you are at the beginning of the upper price segment (around €20-35 per main course), but in contrast to one or two restaurants in the Medienhafen it is justified and not utopian high. The small drawback is that the service is very nice, but could be a little more attentive, especially when the restaurant is not particularly full. But that is also my personal preference.

Ich war mit einer Gruppe von Freunden im Ristorante Da Cla in Düsseldorf, und es war eine absolut wunderbare Erfahrung. Das Essen war hervorragend – besonders die Cacio e Pepe mit Thunfischtatar war ein echtes Highlight! Eine Kombination, die perfekt abgestimmt war und einfach fantastisch geschmeckt hat. Die Weinkarte war beeindruckend, mit einer großen Auswahl an hochwertigen Weinen, die perfekt zu den Gerichten passten. Der Service war ausgezeichnet – freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr familiär. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war wirklich top, vor allem wenn man die Qualität der Speisen und des Services berücksichtigt. Es ist selten, eine so authentische italienische Küche außerhalb Italiens zu finden, aber hier erlebt man den echten Geschmack Italiens. Ich kann das Ristorante Da Cla jedem empfehlen, der in Düsseldorf nach einem besonderen kulinarischen Erlebnis sucht. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

We spent New Year's Eve 2024 there. We enjoyed a lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere and a well-put together 4-course menu. The service staff was very courteous and attentive. The dishes were very well prepared and to the point. Really extremely successful in terms of taste. It was a shame that the quantities of the individual courses were too large. This made it impossible to enjoy the fourth course and dessert. Here we would have been happy about a slightly cheaper per capita price and smaller portions. All in all, it was a successful evening and we would love to come back!

El restaurante me lo recomendó el conserje del hotel. Es un pequeño restaurante íntimo con un ambiente acogedor. Usted tiene visibilidad total de la cocina y el personal es muy acogedor. No tenía una reserva, pero como estaba comiendo solo, pudieron acomodarme. La elección del menú es limitada ( no hay pollo en el menú ) pero lo que usted elige no decepcionará. Tomé el salmón con crema de calabacín y estaba delicioso como era mi postre. Excelente servicio y buena comida

Maandagavond 8 december hier gegeten leuke wandelroute langs de Rijn vanuit de Altstadt naar het restaurant. Zonder reservering kregen we heel behulpzaam toch nog een tafel. Mooie Italiaanse gerechten, goed op smaak, correcte bediening en mooie wijnen! We komen zeker terug!

Slightly smaller but fine restaurant with really nice and courteous service. Very friendly and helpful. Starter (salmon tartare with avocado, burrata) and the bread with olive oil were really tasty. The main course was a sensational carbonara with super crispy pancetta, highly recommended. There wasn't enough left for dessert. Da Clà is an authentic and elegant Italian restaurant located directly at the Media Harbor in Düsseldorf. In addition to Italian classics, you can also find well-thought-out new interpretations on the manageable menu. In addition to the great dishes, you can also find an exquisite selection of wines here. The friendly and knowledgeable staff and the beautiful ambience are also important to mention here. This is the second time we have spent a wonderful evening here and we are looking forward to the next time.

Unfortunately, my last visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We were a group of four and paid 320 euros for our dinner. However, instead of a pleasant experience, two of us had food poisoning. We suspect that the fish dishes we ordered were the cause. I would also like to point out hygiene in the kitchen. The kitchen is open to view and we didn't notice the chefs changing their disposable gloves regularly. I am an opponent of the use of such gloves because, according to the regulations, they should be changed before preparing each individual dish. However, it is often the case that employees put on the gloves at the beginning of their shift and wear them until the end without changing, disinfecting or washing them. This not only violates hygiene standards, but also increases the risk of food contamination. Spending 320 euros on dinner and ending up with such disappointment is extremely frustrating. I hope that the restaurant management will take measures to improve hygiene and quality standards so that such incidents are avoided in the future and other guests do not have to experience the same. I recommend being careful when choosing dishes and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards in this restaurant.

Sono ritornata al ristorante Da Cla Dusseldorf dopo essere stata nel 2017 per lavoro avendo avuto un'esperienza super positiva. In maniera sorprendente, quest'anno, trovo la cucina di un livello ancora superiore e piacevolmente sorpresa per l'introduzione di piatti nuovi eccezionali ....come la super carbonara! Sono felice di avere a Dusseldorf un punto di riferimento stabile di alta qualita'e grande ospitalita'. Grazie a tutto lo staff per farmi sentire sempre a casa!

Went there yesterday for a small birthday party. Unfortunately, 2 out of 4 guests had an unpleasant night on the toilet and severe stomach pain. It's a shame because everything looked good, but in the end there was probably something wrong.

Absolute recommendation! Service and food were really very good. Starter bruschetta, classic and with burrata was very tasty. The main course Frutti Di Mare topped the whole thing! Very attentive and friendly treatment of the guests, perfect for a nice evening for two or with the family.

Sono stato a cena con la mia compagna, abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima serata. Ambiente accogliente, personale molto cordiale e sempre presente in sala. Abbiamo scelto la tartare di tonno, la "Cacio e pepe" rivisitata (su questo piatto eravamo inizialmente molto scettici, ma, dopo averlo assaggiato, ci siamo immediatamente ricreduti, era, a dir poco, squisito!) ed il polpo con crema di patate viola e fonduta di Parmigiano, i piatti che ci ha consigliato il maître ed è stata una scelta azzeccatissima. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente per assaggiare le altre proposte dello Chef!

This restaurant has become one of our favorite addresses in the Medienhafen over the last year. On every visit, all dishes were absolutely flawless. My standard order is the sesame coated tuna steak. I haven't had a better one, even in well-known Düsseldorf fish restaurants. But the carbonara, especially with truffles, is also recommended. Here you can get it in the Italian original without cream sauce and with guanciale. All in all, the food is worth every cent, even if you have to spend a few cents more.

Professional service and cuisine at Michelin level. We recommend! We were there with our grandma, there is a ramp to the entrance and extremely understanding staff.

Visiting La Cla in Düsseldorf was an absolute treat! The highlight for me was their spaghetti carbonara. It's made the right way with egg yolks, not cream, and it's the best I've ever tasted. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. Plus, the staff at La Cla were super friendly and really attentive. They made us feel welcome and took great care of us. Absolutely exquisite and delicious, tasty food of top quality. Very attentive and courteous service with good advice. Small points of criticism are immediately implemented to your complete satisfaction. The fish platter can or should be shared as there is a lot of high quality fish on it.

An unpleasant restaurant and most importantly the food is not good. They managed to ruin the pasta with lobster twice. 1x too salty, 2x the lobster is out of date. A strong ammonia odor could be smelled. Is that why it was too salty? I had to throw up at home hoping I wouldn't get sick. Never again..

Food: So I ordered some Pasta with Tuna fish. It was so salty, that after 3 bites, I couldn’t eat anymore. Service: one of the staff was nice n friendly, but the other one brought me the wrong drink, I ordered ginger ale and they brought me black tea, and they were insisting too much that they have heard black tea when I ordered my drink. (Ginger ale / schwarzen Tee) I mean what was the big deal? Just laugh it off and take the hot water and the sugar cup and bring me the ginger ale! The teabag wasn’t even inside the hot water.. so not even a costly drink to discuss this much about it! Atmosphere: it was a nice n quiet place. In general: I won’t recommend this restaurant, or at least this food. But for sure I am never going there again. I have taken my next 10 years need of sodium chloride already…
