I ordered a Pizza Rusticale from Giordano, and I have to say: in terms of taste, it is definitely one of the best pizzas you can get in Göttingen. The ingredients were fresh, the dough baked to perfection, and the combination of toppings was just great. The only criticism was the delivery time: 1 hour and 30 minutes, even though it was the middle of the week. That was significantly longer than I expected. Nevertheless, the quality of the food prevails and I will definitely order again. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy really good pizza!

There is little choice on the menu. Many dishes were removed from the menu by hand. Pretty intensive in terms of price.

Seit über 30 Jahren sind wir regelmässig hier und aus gutem Grund: Die Qualität ist immer gleich gut geblieben. Familienbetrieb mit lange gleichbleibendem Personal. Alle Pizzen entweder normal wie bekannt oder Steinofen (etwas größer und knuspriger). Auf spezielle Wünsche wird eingegangen. Heute hatte ich Miesmuscheln mit extra Spaghetti...

It was very nice. The food was very good. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. However, the navigation system directed us to the back entrance, which is not easily accessible on foot.

Super nice staff, great atmosphere! Access to the toilet for people with walking difficulties is unfortunately difficult due to the spiral staircase to the basement. Unfortunately, the lock on the ladies' toilet door is damaged and cannot be locked. Cleanliness in the stairwell to the toilet leaves a lot to be desired. Pizza Frutti di Mare is difficult to eat because shellfish is placed directly on the pizza with its shell on and the cutlery knives are no longer sharp. Very overpriced for the portions and drinks. Drinks service was super quick when you first ordered, but after that you only had to ask the staff. However, the taste of the food is great!

Pizza wasn't particularly big, sparse toppings and blunt knives. Wine selection poor. Long waiting time despite the fact that we were the first guests. Staff only come when requested. There are much better Italian restaurants in Göttingen

The food is good but the service could be better I recently had dinner at Restaurant Boccadoro, an Italian restaurant that certainly has potential, but where there are still some areas of concern. The interior itself was cozy, but the bright light took away a bit from the cozy atmosphere you expect at an Italian restaurant. Food wise it was definitely good; the dishes were fresh and tasty, as you would expect from Italian cuisine. What was unfortunately a bit of a downer was the service. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not sharp. Our drinks didn't arrive until we were already preparing our starters, and we received little attention during the evening. The feeling that we were not being looked after made us decide to skip dessert. If I were to give a tip to friends I would say definitely go for the food, but be prepared for some slowness in service. Some extra focus on the customer experience could make Boccadoro a real winner.
