Immer wieder ein Gedicht, was der Küchenchef zaubert. Dazu freundliches Personal und ein tolles Ambiente. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Sehr freundliches Personal und nicht aufdringlich 😉

Immer zufrieden gewesen. Aber letzten Samstag schien das Personal überfordert. Auf Grund einer großen Geburtstagsgesellschaft? Bestellter Salat mit Dressing würde mit Öl geliefert. Die Reklamation wurde kommentarlos entgegengenommen und in die Küche gebracht. Innerhalb weniger Augenblicke kam der offensichtlich neue Salat mit Dressing. Leider mussten wir feststellen, das das Dressing auf den alten Salat gegeben wurde. Nach den ersten Gabeln sah man dann auch das Öl von der ersten Bestellung. Dressing auf das Öl des alten Salat. Absolutes No-Go. Der Chef entschuldigte sich zwar, aber versuchte einen dann doch für dumm zu verkaufen und meinte, das immer Essig und Öl im Salat sind, auch, wenn Dressing gewünscht wird. Ein Entgegenkommen seitens des Preises kam ebenfalls nicht. Wir sind über viele Jahre gerne dort gewesen. Jetzt wird man uns dort nicht mehr als Kunden sehen.

Sehr nette Begrüßung jedesmal, machen alles möglich wenn man kurzfristig ohne Tisch Vorbestellung kommt. Ein leckeres Essen was ich weiterempfehlen werde.

Sehr gut! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Wir waren nach einer Beerdigung hier und hatten ein kleines italienisches Buffet. Obwohl die Räumlichkeiten nicht der Hit sind, kann man hier gut sitzen. Nur unterhalten wird mit zunehmender Personenzahl etwas schwieriger. Der Service ist etwas wackelig unterwegs aber sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Nette Lage, zügige Bedienung, jedoch darf man nicht erwarten, dass leere Gläser aufgefüllt werden. Meine Pizza war leider relativ geschmacksneutral und hätte noch etwas länger im Ofen bleiben dürfen.

Früher war es wirklich besser. Der Service ist sehr uninteressiert und alle laufen durcheinander, ohne zu bedienen. Wenn man Essen zum mitnehmen bestellt, fühlt man sich wie ein Störfaktor und wird nicht beachtet. Das la Romantica an der Eiswiese ist da deutlich besser als auch Mazzoni. Spannend, finde ich den Hinweis am Eingang, dass die Gäste gebeten werden, nicht die Tischdeko zu klauen.

Sehr gute Pizzeria. Reservierung wird empfohlen. -- Parkplätze sind vorhanden, aber nicht ausreichend. Evtl. an der Straße parken.

Am letzten Sonntag waren wir am Mittag zum Essen im La Romantica in Göttingen-Weende. Am Eingang begrüsste uns eine freundliche Bedienung und Sie fragte uns wo wir uns gerne hin setzen möchten. Wir nahmen gerne einen Fensterplatz. Kurz darauf brachte Sie uns die Karte. Nach ein paar Minuten nahm die höfliche und nette Bedienung die Speisen und Getränke auf. Die Getränke die wir bestellt haben, wurden umgehend gebracht und das Bier war professionel gezapft. Als erstes brachte uns die Bedienung Bruschetta als Vorspeise. Das Hauptgericht wurde dann auch warm und köstlich serviert. Als wir auf gegessen hatten fragte uns die Bedienung, ob wir noch einen Wunsch haben. Darauf hin gönnten wir uns noch ein Dessert, dass auch sehr lecker geschmeckt hat. Das Ambiente und das leckere Essen ist hervorragend und darum kommen wir gerne wieder.

Leider waren wir diesmal überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Wir bestellen zur Abholung eine Pizza ein Nudelgericht und 2 Vorspeisen. Die Pizza war okay aber auch nichts besonderes. Das Nudelgericht war ehrlich gesagt eine Frechheit 1. Hatten wir telefonisch extra ohne Auberginen bestellt 2. Das restliche Gemüse war undefinierbar 3. Der Geschmack wirklich ungenießbar. Das überbackene Brokkoli war okay aber total wässrige Soße. Das Carpaccio war komplett ohne Belag nur das Rohe Fleisch, wir haben es dann Zuhause selber gewürzt und belegt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht gerade weil wir schon oft da waren oder abgeholt haben und da war es immer gut. Echt schade...

Nette Bedienung, essen lecker alles top

Wir hatten im La Romantica am Rotemn Berg einen ganz wunderbaren Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen, freundlichem Service und einem ausgesprochen guten Wein. Auch unser Golden Retriever wurde freundlich begrüßt und mit einem Wasserschälchen versorgt. Können das Lokal uneingeschränkt für Familien mit Hund empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

La Romantica is no longer a hidden gem. It's very popular, and for good reason. A phone call or reservation is recommended, especially on weekends. The food is typically Italian and delicious. The attentive service completes the evening. The only slight drawback is the large, open layout, which can make it a bit noisy, but it's not unpleasant. Nevertheless, it comes highly recommended.

I'm writing on behalf of my sister yesterday. Unfortunately, my sister was treated very rudely because she briefly left her backpack where someone was supposed to be sitting. There were no guests at that table that evening. Empty. The table was empty the entire evening! She didn't like the food... I was there a year ago with colleagues. I ordered pasta with chanterelles. The amount of pasta was a joke, just enough for a child. You could have searched for the sauce and the chanterelles with a magnifying glass, and it cost a lot of money. No thanks, we'll go somewhere else where they have large portions, less money, and friendly servers. 1 star is still too much Absolutely not recommended!

We were at La Romantica in Weende again on September 25, 2025. We've always enjoyed it very much, but unfortunately, it wasn't so great this time. The portion of Saltimbocca alle Romana was incredibly small and didn't really taste good either. The portion of Spaghetti Bolognese was large enough, but unfortunately, the sauce was very watery. The service wasn't as friendly as usual this time either; maybe it was just a bad day. Anything can happen... We will definitely be back, and when things improve, I'll be happy to update this review.

An Italian like in the old days, wonderful!!!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Göttingen. Hospitality and warmth are a top priority here. We've recently rediscovered Italian food and have been there twice within 10 days. Great food, delicious beer, and all fresh and delicious! Dogs are welcome here too. The outdoor and indoor seating is comfortable and in a great location. Even with a live show, you get front row access to the tennis courts :-D We'll be back, please keep it up! Highly recommended.

I'm disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. I can't recommend this lasagna anymore. There wasn't even half of it in the dish. Of course, the change I paid for was kept. I won't be eating here next time.

I've eaten here many times, and I finally took a photo this time. I think this pizza is the top 1 in Göttingen. The crust is very soft and very delicious. The recommendation index is 5🌟. There are a lot of ingredients on the pizza, and the service attitude is also very friendly, very nice.

I went to eat with my wife, we ordered a pizza and some cannelloni. More than a pizza it was a dough with cheese. That has nothing to do with pizza. I ate until I was hungry Grande, I told the waitress and her response was, “all our customers are happy with our pizza.” Obviously I paid 100% of the costs, and I did not have any type of attention.

Für das La Romatica lohnt es sich zu reservieren, denn es ist oft sehr voll. Es gibt viele Stammgäste. Neben einer Karte mit Pizza, Pasta und vegetarischen Gerichten gibt es auch eine Saison-Karte. Dir Antipasti sind fantastisch, die Pozza lecker und die Pasta mit Trüffeln war ausgezeichnet! Ein wunderschöner Abend in nettem Ambiente. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, wenn es voller wird, dann versucht man, dass hier alles am Schnürchen läuft. Wenn es leerer wird kommt im Service eine Herzlichkeit durch. Zu Rechnung gibt es einen kleinen alkoholischen Gruß. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt! Hier kann man auch Feste in einem eigenen Gastraum feiern. Das Restaurant ist weitestgehend barrierefrei. Das WC war sauber. Es gibt einen gratis Parkplatz vor der Tür.

wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 Personen bestellt, doch das hat aufrgund eines Fehlers beim Personal nicht geklappt. Zunächst wurde uns keine Beachtung geschenkt, das Personal war mit der Vorbereitung einer Gesellschaft beschäftig. Unhöflich und gnervt wurden wir schließlich angesprochen, in einem Heft geblättert mit der Bemerkung, es gäbe keine Reservierung. Nach einigen Diskussionen stellte sich heraus, dass der Name falsch geschrieben wurde, der Tisch aber jetzt für uns nicht mehr frei sei; vermutlich als Sanktion dafür, dass wir uns nicht gleich haben abwimmeln lassen und etwas nachgebohrt hatten. Statt sich zu entschuldigen meckerte die Kellnerin, dass sei alles unsere Schuld, hier würden keine Fehler gemacht. So etwas ist mir in meinem Leben noch nicht passiert, die Gschäftsleitung sollte sich einmal das Verahlten ihres Personals den Gästen gegnüber genauer anschauen. Bleibt uns nur noch zu sagen: diesen Laden werden wir niemals mehr betreten!

We always loved eating at La Romantiker, but now the quality of the food has deteriorated so much that I can no longer imagine eating there. I ordered Saltimbocca alla Roma and got cheap frozen croquettes, pork minute steaks with good, cheap cooked ham on top and a sauce floating in the eggshell. When I saw that the food went back. I don't know if the chef has changed in the last year, but he can't cook. But in terms of price they have adapted very well, the prices have gone up quite a bit and the quality of the food has been reduced to the maximum.

We were there in a group of 6 people and it was really good. The service was super nice, very attentive, typical Italian, but not too fake. The. The restaurant as such was really full, but we still had peace at our table, very good layout. The food is very good, nothing exceptional but really well done. Price-performance ratio is very good and fits together. Clearly worth a recommendation.

A solid Italian where everyone will find something. Special requests (baked gnocchi see photo) will be accommodated at an additional cost. The service is friendly, but sometimes you have to pay attention. What I found very disappointing on our last visit: we were there with 8 people, ordered a starter and main course and then some coffee. I was the only person who didn't manage to get my pasta and wanted to take it with me. I had to pay extra for the packaging! In my opinion, this should be taken into account differently.

Was there for the first time. The waiter was nice, but you could tell he was stressed. I don't plan on coming back. The pizza is okay, but nothing special. We were there with about 20 people. Everyone tried something different. Overall, the pizzas were better received than the pasta dishes. The sauces for the pasta were watery and not creamy... a shame. I would have managed that better at home. One had the feeling that all the sauces consisted of a vegetable broth that was pimped depending on the order. Great price, but you would have paid 3 to 4 euros more for a really delicious meal! You can forget about the bruschetta altogether. Not a fresh baguette, but a simple piece of toast... with tomatoes... No garlic, no onions, little or no spices. Cheap but bland... There's still room for improvement. Unfortunately, since you don't go out to eat often, I can't recommend the restaurant!

Loud and hectic, each drink was served individually, causing further unrest. The pizza was mediocre, the "salad" as a side dish to the schnitzel was a carelessly thrown together pile of iceberg lettuce and onions. The vegetables were frozen. Definitely the first and last restaurant visit there.

I really enjoy eating there. I really like the atmosphere. It's not as cramped as many restaurants in the city. The pizza there is really outstanding. Already had the Margherita and the 4 cheeses, tasted great!! The pasta, on the other hand, is not as outstanding as the pizza. Therefore I recommend eating pizza there and enjoying the taste!

We were served by 4 waiters, absolute hustle and bustle. Overall it was very uneasy in the store. Broccoli was frozen, totally watery and al dente. Main courses weren't really convincing. Tiramisu also ready frozen product. This doesn't work in an Italian restaurant. We will definitely never eat here again, I'm really disappointed.

Wednesday evening and it was full. That alone speaks for the Romantica in Weende. Per: - Great and really tasty pizzas - Opening hours that are impressive in the post-corona crisis. on six days at noon and evening. Cons: - Tiramisu could have been a little bigger for the price quoted - Some tennis center atmosphere. There's a little bit of coziness missing Conclusion: Bella Italia in Weende! Absolutely recommended!

Very, very tasty food (we had 2 different salads and Penne Arabiata) and the other dishes at the neighboring tables also looked very tasty 😋. Pretty big pizzeria, located right next to the tennis court. You can watch the tennis games directly from the terrace - from a nice elevated position. Price/performance was also remarkably good. Very friendly and attentive service. If we're heading north again, we'll definitely stop here again.

The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive despite the shop being full, but the young woman who served us put food and drinks on the table without saying a word. However, a male waiter (owner?) asked several times whether we were satisfied and had any further requests. When we paid, we got a shot of schnapps on the house TOP!

Wir waren super zufrieden. Der Laden war wirklich voll, wir kamen unangemeldet und uns wurde für die Wartezeit ein "Tresentisch" angeboten. Nach kurzer Wartezeit war unser Tisch dann frei. Die Pizza hat uns alle mehr als glücklich gemacht, toll belegt, frisch und knusprig. Einfach spitze. Auch die Vorspeisen waren hervorragend. Das Ambiente an sich ist der schön, nur aufgrund der räumlichen Gegebenheiten ziemlich "laut". Man hört das Rauschen aller Stimmen überall. Wir waren vollstens zufrieden mit Service, Qualität und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

The food is... okay. I was expecting more authentic Italian cuisine. Very little cheese in Al forno dishes, Carbonara with Grana Padano... Tomato sauce with cream, tastes like the express and cheap tomato soup many of us know from childhood. ;)

Excellent and authentic italian food. My wife and I had early dinner for two on a Thursday, close to opening time. The restaurant is huge and has plenty of staff.

As always, La Romantica is highly recommended. Hospitality is very important here. The food is always a pleasure!

Ich bin seit vielen Jahren hier zu Gast und kann meinen Lieblings Italiener in jeder Hinsicht weiterempfehlen. Alle sind sehr nett und aufmerksam vom Chef und Chefin bis zum Personal. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und schön angerichtet, alles ist frisch zubereitet. Das beste Carpaccio, immer meine Vorspeise. Die Zeitabläufe beim Essen sind sehr angenehm wenn man mehrere Gänge bestellt. Es gibt eine große Terrasse im Sommer die auf zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt ist. Die Preise sind angemessen.

La Romantica was recommended to us by friends and we visited it with them. The restaurant offers plenty of space and very, very friendly service. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The pizzas were the best. The garlic soup was bland at best and only tasted like warm cream. The fact that a large plate was served with exactly one slice of baguette was so ironic and out of place that I forgot to take a photo because I was laughing - La Romantica can do that better, I'm sure. We also had the Canelloni con Ricotta e Spinaci - exactly two canelloni, unfortunately we didn't taste any of the spinach. We also had tortelloni all Napolentana, but there was no trace of the taste of the spinach either. Apart from the different noodle variant, the dishes were the same. We would like to see more vegetarian or even vegan dishes that have a wider variety than spinach and ricotta cheese. The pizzas are great, but the pasta would be more homemade. Overall, a good trip with room for improvement.

The food (calzone) was on the table quickly. Bruschetta first and a salad on the side. Everything is very good.

Friendly staff, good food, only the area on the edge of a tennis court is a bit dull. But in the dark in the evening it doesn't matter.
