Restaurant La Locanda DUE in Göttingen

.Obwohl bei uns um die Ecke, waren wir vorher noch nie hier. Schade, wir haben viel verpasst. Das wird ab sofort unser italienisches Lieblingsrstaurant. Alle Speisen und Salate sehr lecker und frisch und vor allem ausreichend. Die Preise sind etwas höher aber voll gerechtfertigt. Der Service ist super nett und flexibel, man geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Der Sommergarten ist eine Insel in der Großstadt. Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall reservieren! Wenn Ihnen mein Kommentar gefällt dann geben Sie mir bitte ein 👍 (Daumen hoch) gefällt mir !!

Auf Anfrage wegen später Ankunft, erhielt ich die Antwort, dass ich noch kommen könne, wenn ich wirklich in 10 Minuten da sei. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gute Auswahl abseits der Standards und köstlich zubereitet.

Wir haben zu zweit ein sehr schönen Abend in der Pizzeria verbracht. Sind sehr herzlich von der junge Kellnerin empfangen worden. Durften uns den Tisch aussuchen, haben uns für draußen entschieden. Vorspeise kam recht schnell und hat uns voll überzeugt. Trio bruschetta (klassisch, vitello tonnato und Lacks). Mein Mann hat Pizza gegessen, war auch sehr lecker ich habe Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten gegessen - Mega! Die Kellnerin war sehr aufmerksam, locker, lustig. Ganz toll, vielen Dank!

Wirklich netter Italiener. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, angenehmes Ambiente. Bei meinem ersten Besuch habe ich nach Küchenschluss sogar noch ein lecker Bruschetta bekommen. Das Saltimboca am nächste Tag kann ich weiterempfehlen. Sehr zart und gut gewürzt, nicht vom Salbei erschlagen.

Ich war vor 3 Jahren schon Mal hier und heute wieder im Rahmen einer Fortbildung. Also als erstes muss ich das total freundliche Personal loben. Heute ist echt viel los durch eine Sonderveranstaltung aber trotzdem ist jeder einzelne sehr freundlich und auf das Wohl des Gastes bedacht. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Geschmacklich eine echte Freude und auch liebevoll und zeitgemäß angerichtet. Hier merkt man, dass man mit liebe arbeitet. Wenn ich nochmal in Göttingen bin, dann komme ich aufjedenfall wieder.

Die Pizza war hervorragend. Das Personal wirkte etwas gestresst. Uns sind für das gleiche Gericht unterschiedliche Preise der regulären Speisekarte zur Tageskarte (hier teurer) aufgefallen. Da wir dieses bestellen wollten haben wir darauf hingewiesen. Nach Rücksprache wurde uns mitgeteilt es handelt sich um einen Druckfehler. Aber nicht in der Tageskarte, sondern in der regulären Karte. Es wurde dann tatsächlich der höhere Preis abgerechnet. Das machte uns nicht arm, aber Service orientiert war das nicht. Dafür einen dicken Minuspunkt.

Wer hektische laute bedienung mag ist hier genau richtig. es geht zu wie in einem Taubenschlag, Kellner rennen wild durcheinander hin und her. Und wenn man ein recht teures Steak bestellt aber anstelle der Kartoffeln ein paar Nudeln möchte, geht, für nochmal schlappe 4.95€ dazu, dafür wird dann das Gemüse gleich mal vergessen..oder solten es die zwei kleinen Tomaten gewesen sein? Die Qualität des Essens und auch die Wartezeit waren dafür völlig ok.

Sie haben die beste Pizza in Göttingen!

Ein Italiener, welchen man weiterempfehlen kann. Waren mit größerer Gruppe da, alle waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Essen und auch dem Service. Dieser war freundlich und aufmerksam. Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, Plätze sowohl innen als auch außen in einer Art Innenhof vorhanden. Man hat auch die Möglichkeit italienische Spezialitäten zu kaufen.

Wir waren mit 6 Leuten da. Der Service war super und das Essen abwechslungsreich und durchweg lecker. Pizza, Rinderfilet, Trüffelnudeln… wir waren alle zufrieden und satt. Und die Preise sind wirklich fair.

Letztes Jahr die beste Pizza dort gegessen, heute war der Rand trocken und hart, ungenießbar. Einen Grappa aufs Haus hat man dort auch nicht nötig, man ist ja das beste Lokal in Göttingen, so die Aussage! Arroganz pur, der Kellner schnöselig von oben herab….. mir stellt sich die Frage des „warum „….Junge, komm mal klar, du bist Kellner, auf was bildest DU dir was ein???

Ein wunderbares italienisches Restaurant in Göttingen. Der Service ist 1a und die Speisen auch. Den Stern Abzug gibt es für die eher bescheidene Auswahl für Vegetarier bei den Pizzen (Natürlich kann man sich auch selbst eine zusammen stellen), das würde ich in der heutigen Zeit überdenken.

Ich habe selber italienische Großeltern, war sehr viel in Italien und der Welt unterwegs und hatte meinen eigenen Food Van. Die Pizzen hier sind mit die besten die ich jemals gegessen habe und das Preis Leistungs Niveau was hier geboten wird habe ich in Göttingen noch nirgends in vergleichbarem Masse finden können. Die Zutaten sind wirklich alle authentisch und original und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung

Leckere Pasta , Pizza und Salat

I'd like to briefly share my experience with a delivery ordered through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the food was already cold when it arrived. More importantly, the driver who showed up didn't match the person in the app's photo and was driving a different vehicle. I told the driver this immediately and refused the order. Despite this, he scanned the delivery code without my permission and marked the delivery as complete. I understand that restaurants often can't control the drivers' behavior, but I hope you'll report this incident to Uber and ensure that you verify the driver's identity in the future. It's crucial that orders are fulfilled by authorized, properly registered drivers to prevent similar situations.

It's not bad, but it's nothing special either. I didn't like that, when I asked for the bill, they just showed me the amount on a phone. I had to believe the bill was correct.

We will not be returning to this restaurant. We were there in a small group. One person arrived 15 minutes late and had reordered their food. The order was ready after just 10 minutes and served hot. The rest of us had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. When reordering, an error occurred/the previous order was canceled. The server at least apologized for this. After we wanted to pay during the long wait, the manager came to the table loudly and could not control himself. The server apologized several times for this too. The entire evening was very unfortunate. The one star goes to the drinks, but you can't go wrong with those either.

We were there for Comedy Night. There was a three-course meal. It was delicious, and we also really enjoyed the comedy that followed. A very nice evening.

We waited over 1.5 hours on a Tuesday evening. Then our two pizzas were canceled without notice, and we had to order again from somewhere else. Lieferando didn't even refund the full amount. Of course, no one at the restaurant answers the phone either. It's a shame, the pizza is very tasty, but the place is awful.

In terms of food, it's definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Göttingen. I find the pizza base too coarse, too hard in the darker spots, and too rubbery in the lighter spots, but I also like Neapolitan pizza. It's just a little different and unfortunately not available in Göttingen. For that kind of pizza, it was very tasty, and the dessert (iced tiramisu) was fantastic. Unfortunately, I found the server a bit harsh and felt like he wasn't really listening to any of us. Prices are average. Large pizza, dessert, and carafe of water cost €30. The vegetarian offerings are absolutely outrageous. If you order a meatless pizza and want something vegetarian on top, you have to pay extra, even if the restaurant were saving money. They only offer the Margherita and a vegetable pizza without meat. I don't know if it's any different with the pasta. They even put meat on a four-cheese pizza. Unbelievable. If you're going to exclude vegetarians from the menu like that, then at least you can accommodate such requests without surcharges (especially since my requested replacement topping would have been cheaper than the original one). Because of the mentality and the unfriendly service alone, I won't recommend the restaurant or even go there myself. However, if a meeting were held there or I were invited, I wouldn't object. Because the food itself was delicious. The ambiance is more rustic than modern and doesn't stand out in any way, either positively or negatively.

We stopped here while passing through and received excellent service and care. Highly recommended, even though we had to wait a long time for the food.

Tijdens een verblijf in Eden Hotel tweemaal hier gegeten. Gezellig restaurant met lekkere Italiaanse gerechten op een niet te uitgebreide kaart.

Wir waren zweimal in diesem Restaurant und waren absolut zufrieden. Das Essen war geschmacklich ebenso gut wie der Service. Wir können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden es bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Göttingen jederzeit wieder aufsuchen.

The two of us were there without a reservation. It was very crowded that evening. Basically no problem but the waiter wasn't particularly friendly. The starters (Bruscetta and Vitelo Tonnato) were tasty, although the Vitello was visually enhanced with salad. My tuna pizza wasn't particularly tasty. The dough was tough and too salty for me. The beef tagliatelle was practically raw. It had nothing to do with al dente. We were offered dessert or coffee as compensation. I refused and the coffee for my companion came without milk. Nevertheless, we were fully charged for everything except the coffee. I have no recommendation for this restaurant.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit großartigem, dem Gast zugewandtem Service, feinem Essen (gegrilltes Gemüse, Pizzen, ein Cassata-Eis zum Niederknien) und fairen Preisen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

I was staying in the hotel for a training course and my lunch and evening meals were provided by the adjoining restaurant. There were pre-made and reduced menus for us (which should be filled out in the morning). Deviations from the dish were not possible due to a lack of flexibility (e.g. fries instead of potatoes or similar). - There was a selection of main courses and one starter option each. The menus available in the restaurant were significantly more extensive. The quantities of our dishes were also significantly reduced compared to the "normal guests" in the evening. 0.4 L drinks (Cola/Sprite) were served in wine glasses. Pizza had to be “torn” because the knives were more than blunt. The friendliness of the service staff left a lot to be desired - it gave the impression of being overwhelmed.

A great Italian, the best I've been to so far. We can especially recommend the fish soup and the noodles. But it's all very, very tasty. And the service is also friendly and professional

Wir hatten am 27.1.2025 einen Tisch für 7 Personen reserviert, um den Geburtstag unserer Freundin zu feiern. Die Lautstärke im Restaurant war so hoch, dass man sich kaum unterhalten konnte. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, dauerte es fast noch eine Stunde, bis das Essen auf dem Tisch stand, aber nicht zur gleichen Zeit. Mein Salat zum Beispiel kam, als die anderen mit ihrer Pasta fast schon fertig waren. Keiner meiner Freunde, die eine Pizza gewählt hatten, bekamen die, die sie bestellt hatten.Die Küche scheint total überfordert zu sein. Für all das, was schief gelaufen war, wurde auch keine Kompensation angeboten, z.B. ein Cappuccino auf Kosten des Hauses. Die Qualität der Speisen ließ auch sehr zu wünschen übrig, besonders die pappigen Pizzen und die ausgetrockneten Salate. Für uns ist das Restaurant in keiner Weise empfehlenswert und wir werden es sicher in Zukunft nicht mehr besuchen.

Vi möttes av en ointresserad hovmästare, fastän restaurangen hade få gäster. När beställningen kom var en rätt felaktig. Detta ifrågasattes, av hovmästaren, , som totalt missförstått ingredienserna i de aktuella beställningen. Maten var tämligen ointressant och på gränsen till smaklös. Desserterna var mediokra, Tiramisun rent av smaklös. Glassen var frostig.

The food was very tasty and tasted just like pizza in Italy. But unfortunately dinner was quite crowded and too loud. The employees are friendly and nice.

Ordered beef carpaccio with homemade lemon vinaigrette. We got carpaccio, rocket and parmesan with half a lemon. No trace of homemade vinaigrette. Too bad. Pizza with a fluffy edge looks good, but there are few and careless toppings. A positive note is the friendly and always caring operating staff.

Went for dinner recently. So, the Merlot was fine, as was the ice cream and espresso. The starter platter for around 22 euros per person consisted largely of chopped greens. Not typically Italian. The pizza marinara was topped with overly pickled vegetables, the anchovies were more of a kind of mush. I've never had a pizza like this in Hamburg!

On my first visit to Göttingen, I was struck by the city's rather modest dining scene - and by far the most negative "highlight" of this visit was La Locanda DUE. The restaurant's ambience is actually very inviting, but it is obviously aimed primarily at large groups who primarily want to celebrate and get their fill. When we (two of us) ate on a Friday evening (with a reservation), there were two groups of 20 plus people and a private party present. The (only) positive thing first: The bruschetta was served with very fresh tomatoes. Everything that followed was little more than poorly warmed up or miserable (not cooked) frozen food - so I ordered (deviating from the menu) grilled Gamberoni with potatoes - these came out (sticky and completely unseasoned) as dry as they were the potatoes, carelessly prepared. Zero garlic, zero herbs, zero grill. The fact that I had only eaten a small amount of this dish was not worth asking the servile patron when I was clearing away - he seems to be used to it. The dessert (tiramisu) was also irrelevant, with too much cream and too heavy. I have never eaten such bad (albeit for very little money as the prices are very low) Italian food before. Maybe the chef was simply overwhelmed by the little “additional task of grilling Gamberoni” - the pizzas looked ok. Nevertheless, my conclusion: never again.

Unfortunately, my husband and I cannot agree with the positive reviews. The vegetable lasagna tasted like a frozen lasagne, even if it wasn't. The caneloni was not seasoned and neither was the tomato sauce that came with it. Price performance does not match here for us.

By far the best Italian in the region... above-average, innovative and high-quality food... very friendly and attentive service... dogs are more than welcome and looked after... one of the best locations to relax and enjoy... unfortunately You can “only” give 5 stars but they are definitely deserved!!!!!!

The service at La Locanda Due was simply first class – fast, friendly and extremely attentive. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Throughout the evening the waitress was always present to ensure we didn't lack for anything. The food was excellent and served promptly. The selection on the menu was impressive and each of us found something we liked. Seven of us had dinner yesterday and each of us was thrilled. The service really helped us feel completely comfortable. The waitress was always attentive without being intrusive and made the evening perfect for us.

wochen im voraus für 3 pers. ein geburtstagsessen reserviert. kommen früh um 18:30 uhr in das lokal. wenig besetzt. es ist kein tisch für 3 pers. eingedeckt. wir werden an einen 4er tisch gesetzt, gegenüber dem eingang, neben zwei musiklautsprecher boxen aus denen ziemlich laut musik kommt. eine person ist 85 jahre, hier sollte man empathie haben als wirt. das vierte gedeck wird nicht abgeräumt. (eine minute später steht eine mit künstlichen wimpern, künstlichen fingernägeln, zu sehr aufgespritzten lippen und zu offenherzig, für mein empfinden als bedienung) die bedienung fragt nach getränken. es werden zunächst zwei flaschen wasser bestellt. zu kurz die zeit für eine speisenauswahl, deswegen wird nach ca. 5 min. eine antipastiplatte bestellt. diese besteht als sie nach wiederholtem nachfragen nach genau 1 Std. gebracht wird aus 6 scheiben schinken. die zu harten pizzabrötchen wurden ca. 1/2 std. vorhher auf den tisch gestellt. in der zwischenzeit wurden auch noch die kippfenster komplett geöffnet, da es der bedienung zu warm war wie sie sagte. aussentemperatur am 06. mai, ca. 11* C. es wurde in dieser zeit die speisekarten entfernt, es wurde nicht gefragt ob wir einen hauptgang bestellen wollen, ich wurde nach dem bringen der wasserflaschen gefragt ob ich denn jetzt wüsste was ich trinken wollte. ich habe die rechnung nach einer stunde bestellt und sehr sehr ärgerlich das lokal verlassen. wir sind darauf hin in das restaurant amavi gegangen und wurden sehr sehr gut bewirtet. La Locanda NIE WIEDER!!!

Very disappointed. You shouldn't order pizza (!) because the oven is already full. The lasagna was then completely cold, and only after asking twice to warm it up was it somewhat warm. The La Locanda restaurant in Göttingen is a real insider tip for all lovers of Italian cuisine. Vegetarians will find a slightly smaller selection on the menu, but the quality of the dishes is phenomenal. Particularly recommended are the Spaghetti al Buon Gustaioa and the Pizza Vegetale Speciale with delicious grilled vegetables. By the way, the dough is wafer-thin and crispy. All in all, a poem!

Very good food and great service!

This Italian belongs to the neighboring Hotel Eden. The staff is friendly, the menu is varied. The food is generally of good quality. The cooking point is right, but the seasoning ranges from bland to very intense. This is a bit of a matter of luck. The bruscetta, the pizza and the vanilla ice cream with espresso are particularly recommended. In my case, the fish soup didn't contain any fish, but instead contained an endless amount of mussels and calamari. All in all a good restaurant.

I've been in the neighboring hotel for a whole week now and was able to try out the entire menu with my colleague. When it comes to food, there is something for everyone. The portions are larger than average and taste excellent. The staff are also there for you and regularly check on our well-being. So highly recommended.

The best pizza I've ever eaten. The ambience is very good. The service is attentive, very nice and quick. The food is plentiful and prepared with love. The dessert menu was delicious from start to finish. If you live in Göttingen you should eat there. If you go to Göttingen you should definitely eat there. Booking a table makes sense. Great house and great team! We really enjoyed the evening and the food there. Price-performance ratio is right in this restaurant. Everything there is probably recommended. But there are always people who complain.

On the way through, we stopped again at this great restaurant: nice ambience in a modern southern style - very stylishly furnished and super tasty food, we had steak and fish, including a tuna carpaccio, which is probably not better than an original Japanese one would get there. A very nice service and a good, pleasant atmosphere and despite being busy at times (the restaurant was busy), the friendly service staff was always on hand. 5 Stars! Everything is tip top!

Unsere diesjährige Firmen-Weihnachtsfeier fand dieses Mal hier statt. Ambiente schön, der Service zu Beginn noch flott und engagiert. Aber mit der Zeit wurden aufgegeben Getränkewünsche vergessen und man durfte öfters Nachfragen. Dann das Essen, wir hatten vorab eine Auswahl zwischen vier Gerichten. Die Gambas in Knoblauch-Tomatensoße waren sehr schlicht zubereitet, da hat das besondere etwas gefehlt. Es war wirklich nur eine ganz einfache Tomatensoße mit Knoblauch, das bekommt selbst meine 10 jährige Nichte hin. Das Saltimbocca war laut Kollegen auch sehr fad. Mir und anderen kam es vor, als wäre das Lokal etwas überfordert gewesen. Lust, noch einmal privat hier zu speisen, hab ich weniger. Zudem gibts nichtmal freie Parkplätze, man darf sich am Straßenrand was suchen und ein Parkticket ziehen… Ne sorry, da hatten wir schon ganz andere und schönere Feiern.

Ich habe dort mit der Arbeit unsere Weihnachtsfeier verbracht der Service war sehr gut und die Pizza kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir haben Pizzen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Diese haben sowohl geschmacklich überzeugt, als auch vom Preisniveau, welches für Außer-Haus-Speisen mit dem 20% Rabatt besonders attraktiv ist. Das werden wir so auf jeden Fall wiederholen!

Sehr gute Preis Leistung, hier gibt es beim selber abholen noch einen Preis Nachlass. Holen uns hier leckere und gut gefüllte Pizza Calzone. Top netter Chef, der immer aufmerksam ist, weiter so und nicht nachlassen an der Qualität, die bis jetzt auch immer gleich bleibend top ist.

Wir waren mal wieder da allerdings sollten manche Kellner mal freundlicher sein. Es betraf den Tag nur einen , aber der war dafür muffelig für 3. Wie sagt man so umgangssprachlich "der geht zum lachen in den Keller" 🤣

Es war wirklich alles top, das Bruschetta, Nudeln und die Pizza waren allesamt richtig lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Ambiente gemütlich. Die Preise waren auch gut, und die Portionen reichlich. Von daher volle Empfehlung von meiner Seite! Wir kommen wieder. Lg
