Ristorante Fellini in Göttingen

Ich hatte höhere Erwartungen, es war aber trotzdem okay.

Ich habe eben eine super leckere Spargelsuppe gegessen, sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Von außen wirkt das Restaurant unscheinbar, aber drinnen merkt man, dass es recht geräumig ist, wenn auch ziemlich voll. Der Empfang und die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich, aber da so viele Gäste gleichzeitig bedient werden, muss man mit Wartezeiten rechnen. Es gibt einen überdachten und einen überdachten Außenbereich. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten Lasagne und Tagliatelle – beides war perfekt zubereitet und kostete jeweils etwa 17 Euro. Zum Nachtisch gab es Terimasu, das auch sehr gut war.

Das Essen war sehr gut aber der Service war nur 3x in ca. 3,5 Stunden an unserem Tisch, damit wir nachbestellen konnten. Wir wsren mit 7 Personen da und wirklich niemand hatte ein scharfes Messer. Wir haben uns dann eine Joke erlaubt und die Pizza mit Löffeln geschnitten. Das ging besser.

Authentisches italienisches Restaurant

Tolles Ambiente, man fühlt sich direkt wohl und willkommen. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Besonders begeistert hat mich aber das Carpaccio – definitiv das beste, das ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. Perfekt abgestimmt, super Qualität und geschmacklich einfach herausragend. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Leider ein enttäuschender Abend im Fellini - der Service war unterirdisch schlecht, langsam und unaufmerksam. Erste Getränkebestellung kam falsch, dann tat sich erstmal gar nichts. Mussten dann die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam machen, ob wir denn auch bestellen dürfen. Derjenige der dann kam war frech und hat uns gegenüber blöde Sprüche abgelassen. Leider hatte auch das Essen kein gutes Niveau - Nudelgerichte sahen aus, als wären sie aus einer Aluschale auf den Teller gekippt - Pizza und Fleischgerichte waren okay.

Mein Mann hat sich die Dorade bestellt, erst war sie noch roh innen, dann kam nur noch alles durcheinander zurück, man konnte nicht erkennen was man genau isst, geschmeckt hat sie gar nicht, als wir es mehrfach gesagt haben, bekamen wir nur die Antwort der Koch ist immer der selbe! Es war dem Service schlichtweg egal, wurden abkassiert und das war’s dann. Es sollte mit unseren Kindern als Familie ein Geburtstagsessen sein, wirklich schade! Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen!!!

Habe hier schon mehrfach die Antipasti Platte bestellt zum abholen, war immer gut und auch für größere Personenanzahl nie ein Problem. Immer wieder gerne

Alles war absolut Top, das Restaurant war voll und alles hat funktioniert, der Leiter Gino und sein Team haben sich super gekümmert.

Das Essen war guter Durschnitt, daran gibt's nichts zu meckern. Der Service leider eine Katastrophe. Tischreservierung konnte unter Firmennamen erst nicht gefunden werden, die Bedienung hat kaum Deutsch gesprochen/verstanden. Dann Alsterwasser (der Karte !) bestellt und mangels Verständnis der Bedienung noch "also Radler" dazu gesagt und was hab ich erhalten, ein Bier gestreckt mit, na? Genau: WASSER! Vielleicht ist das auch die Göttinger Variante eines Alsterwassers/Radlers, aber im Rest von Deutschland kenne ich es mit Sprite o.ä. Dazu haben die Heizstrahler im Wintergarten brutal geheizt und standen dafür mangels Platz zu dicht an den Tischen, nah dran war es kaum auszuhalten.

Das Essen finde ich in Ordnung und würde deswegen wiederkommen. Service-Team inkl. Chef fand ich lieblos und interessenlos. Die Toiletten sind unterirdisch mit Schimmel an der Wand. Das Restaurant wirkt einfach abgehalftert und in die Jahre gekommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente. Eine der besten Carbonara bisher. Auch das alte Fachwerkhaus ist sehr schön.

Pizza und Nudeln sehr lecker. Wir hätten uns nur einmal eine Nachfrage gewünscht, ob alles passt. Ansonsten empfehlenswert.

Wir waren gestern mit 16 Personen beim Italiener Fellini zum Weihnachtsessen. Prinzipiell nicht schlecht vom Ambiente. Es war alles sehr eng und unruhig, kann ich mit leben... Aber was für mich gar nicht geht: Wenn man aus Versehen eine Pizza an jemand falsches raus gibt, dieser schon dran rum geschnitten und gegessen hat, auch wenn es vom gleichen Tisch kommt, und dann diese Pizza von der Bedienung ohne Entschuldigung an den Ursprungs-Besteller geht, finde ich das eine Frechheit! Eine neue Pizza wäre das Mindeste gewesen! Ach, und die Pizza für meinen Sohn wurde komplett vergessen, sodass er eine viertel Stunde länger darauf warten musste. Von den stumpfen Messern abgesehen. Frohe Weihnachten...

I've been there several times. I get the impression that the quality has declined significantly. The dining area was packed and there was a strong draft in the conservatory. We probably won't go there again. It's a shame, we always enjoyed it before.

That was my last visit to Fellini's – what a shame! I celebrated my doctoral exam there with my family. When making the reservation, I asked for a quieter, nicer table for the special occasion. I was rudely told that they would have to see. I really should have made a reservation at a different restaurant right then and there. We had reserved for 5:30 pm – you wouldn't expect crowds at that time. Unfortunately, it was unbearably crowded and noisy. We were given a table in the middle of the room, not properly set. It was so incredibly cramped that you couldn't even sit down or get up to go to the restroom without the next table having to get up too. Conversation was only possible with the person directly next to you, and even then, it was very loud. Speaking across the table to the person directly opposite was impossible. This was especially disappointing when everyone had traveled a long way and then couldn't have a conversation at all. At the last minute, we had three more people. I tried calling several times to let them know. We were then very rudely told that neither chairs nor tables were available. After much negotiation, we at least got chairs and then squeezed in at the designated tables. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the waiters have been so unfriendly at Fellini. Because the food has always been delicious in the past, I thought we'd give it a try anyway. Sadly, the unfriendly atmosphere was more than confirmed, which is why we won't be visiting Fellini again. The pizza was, as always, very tasty. However, the pasta portions were almost outrageously small. Everyone who ordered pasta was still hungry afterward. It's a shame that this special day ended like this at Fellini… The noise, the atmosphere, and the unfriendliness were simply unbearable. We were just glad to be outside again.

Excellent Italian food! I had Crostini and Pasta with Aubergine…. Impeccable! Vermentino from Tuscany was also a good choice. I will definitely be back….

At first glance, the restaurant is cozy and has a nice atmosphere. However, the food is partly lacking. We especially disliked the pizza. The crust wasn't cooked through, almost rubbery. It simply didn't taste good. The pasta dishes are too small for the price. It's not good value for money. We won't be coming back. The service was okay, but nothing special.

Top-notch food, nothing beats it. This is and will always be my local spot. If you want something good, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

On our previous visit, we weren't allowed in because we didn't have a reservation. This time, we made a reservation and were able to get in, but we were a bit disappointed. We ordered the Parmesan and mushroom pasta from the daily menu. It tasted average, not great. The 22 Euro price is definitely not worth it. The Panna Cotta dessert was really good and highly recommended. The restaurant waiters were not very pleasant. Instead of giving us the menus all together, they brought them each time we asked for them, which was not very satisfying.

I wanted to go there for dinner with two friends, but the service was very bad and I was treated very disrespectfully. So, in short, I sat down and left straight away. I can't say anything about the food; everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to eat there.

We wanted a table for three people. First, we were asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, we were asked, annoyed, where we wanted to sit. We chose the outside seats, as we could smoke there. As soon as we sat down, we politely asked the server for an ashtray. He responded in an annoyed and raised voice: "They're right there, get up and get one." Since we didn't understand him twice, he repeated it the third time, even more annoyed and in a very unfriendly tone. We found this behavior so disrespectful that we decided to leave the restaurant immediately. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to give a review of the food.

Italian food with a German twist. Prices are quite high. Great outdoor terrace. Restrooms only accessible via steep basement stairs.

Excellent restaurant. Don't be fooled by the unassuming front. There's plenty of seating inside and in the back garden. We had a wonderful meal here. Highly recommended.

I went to Fellini Göttingen with my girlfriend – amazing food, fantastic atmosphere. The Panzerotti and Saltimbocca alla Romana were really good 😍 Excellent service. It's not cheap, but absolutely worth it. We'll be back!

I was very excited to reserve a table at Fellini because I'd heard nothing but good things about it. Unfortunately, our first and perhaps last visit was quite disappointing. It was obvious that the waitresses had little experience in the restaurant industry. Due to the sheer volume of customers, the whole place was very chaotic. We had to wait about 45 minutes for an antipasti platter. The next table even had its meal canceled because the guests who had arrived before us also hadn't received their food. The waitresses seemed overwhelmed and listless. Regardless, we didn't enjoy the experience at all. What a shame.

Unfortunately, I have to correct my review. On our second-to-last visit, the tagliatelle was mercilessly over-seasoned. Today, despite having reserved three weeks in advance, there was no high chair available. We left without ordering because our little one wouldn't fit under the table. The manager reacted very snottily to my complaint about the poor service. He can't be expected to provide more than two high chairs, and he can do without guests like us. If only he could. Why do I reserve three weeks in advance if I end up neither getting the table I booked nor a high chair? Arrogance is called Fellini. We then ate at a restaurant that knows how to satisfy customers. Fellini has lost us as customers. Families should avoid this restaurant or bring a travel high chair.

Sorry - but that wasn't anything! Slow service, forgotten orders, pizza with only the middle topping, and Kristallweizen "garnished" with dried lemon. What a shame! PS: Unfortunately, there's no more Pasta Amatriciana on the menu 😭

The pizza served on-site is of high quality and delicious. It was evenly and appropriately topped with cheese. The outdoor seating is located near a well-maintained, naturally overgrown passageway, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. Prices are within the range of what's usual and can be considered reasonable. The beautiful Italian decor inside is worth noting.

Die zwei Sterne nur für das freundliche Personal. Bei unserem letzten Besuch war die Tagliatelle total überwürzt (ungenießbar). Die Essen gingen zurück und es lag angeblich am enthaltenen Schinken. Heute gab es trotz dreiwöchiger Reservierung keinen Kinderstuhl. Auch der gewünschte Tisch war von anderen Menschen belegt. Wir sind ohne zu bestellen gegangen und der Hinweis auf schlechten Service wurde vom Chef mit der Bemerkung, er habe es nicht nötig weggewischt. Das mag sein, aber italienische Freundlichkeit sieht anders aus. Wir sind durch mit diesen Restaurant. Tatsächlich gibt es in Göttingen Restaurants, die haben ausreichend Kinderstühle und eine Grundhöflichkeit, die ich im Fellini vermisse.

It was delicious. The ambiance was lovely; we sat outside, and it felt like Italy. Our dishes were delicious. The menu is quite small, but the focus is on the essentials: taste! The staff is friendly. All in all, a very pleasant evening. We'd love to go back!

The salad for €9.50 consisted of two tomatoes, half a pepper, and three lettuce leaves. The service was extremely rude and the atmosphere very uncomfortable.

Gentlemen, there's not much to be done about it—the food was abysmal. How is it possible that Italians can prepare such a scandalous carbonara? What a disappointment. Without a doubt, the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to in Europe!

Some of the portions are very small. For €18, I got about 250g of pasta with very little side dish for a main course from the daily menu. That might be enough to feed a child. However, the restaurant, including the winter garden and courtyard terrace, is very nice.

That was the most ridiculous attempt at Italian food I’ve ever had abroad. As an Italian, I’m genuinely disappointed, especially since the entire staff is Italian, yet they still can’t cook properly. My carbonara was an embarrassment; the egg was scrambled, not creamy. My girlfriend ordered a vegan dish, and it looked absolutely unappetizing. On top of that, you’re overpriced. Stay away from this place.

Always worth a visit when I'm in Göttingen.

The food was good overall, though not world-class. The Neapolitan pizza biancha was better than the average pizza in Göttingen, but certainly not as good as Neapolitan pizza in Naples – the dough could have been a bit thicker and fluffier. The desserts were mediocre. The tiramisu lacked the right mascarpone and egg yolk combination for an authentic tiramisu. The panna cotta was okay, but not a highlight. What we liked least were the knives, which were unfortunately so blunt that the pizzas were almost impossible to cut. Nevertheless, we would come back.

We had a great evening with very good food and very friendly service.

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass Italiener keine Kinder im Restaurant haben wollen. Sind um 18:00 mit unseren Enkelkindern zum Restaurant gekommen, das halb leer war. Dennoch „kein Tisch frei“. Ein Restaurant, das keine Kinder haben will, verdient auch keine Erwachsenen !

I often go to Fellini when I miss Italy. The food and service are usually very good. But the last two times I was unfortunately disappointed, and I don't think I'll go again. A while ago, we were a large group, and although the food was good again, the service was not. The older man was very strange to us. He didn't really understand us and was kind of angry when he spoke. While serving, he was rude and made strange noises. It was an unpleasant experience.

Bad service. Fellini would be disappointed

Not a long wait, we were able to sit outside. But pasta dishes are not special, price is not appropriate for quality.

The pizza was good, the restaurant inside is pleasant. The two male waiters or owners were extremely rude from the moment we entered with my friends the restaurant. Whenever I tried to ask something because there was a miscommunication they were replying to me in a very dismissive and impolite way switching from speaking German immediately to Italian which I find extremely rude and inappropriate to treat a guest to your restaurant that way as if you have power over them. I enjoyed my food and my time with my friends but I am not going there again.

The restaurant was the best value for money in Göttingen and the surrounding area. The service was always courteous, the portions were adequate, and the prices were fair... but... The prices have now reached record levels. Spaghetti Bolognese has increased by €4.60 in two years - now €13.50, and the portions aren't what they were a few years ago(!). Therefore, we won't be visiting this place again. That's really outrageous.

We had dinner at Fellini with 8 people on a Tuesday and it was excellent. We had various antipasti to share, then each had a main course (pizza, lasagna, ravioli, ...) and tiramisu and digestives for dessert. The food was fresh and super tasty, the portion sizes were good. Even though the store was full, the wait wasn't too long and it wasn't too loud for us. Everything fine!

We traveled all the way from Kassel, and we were completely impressed. We'd happily return anytime. Pizza Fellini is highly recommended.

Particularly noteworthy are the homemade pasta and the delicious pizzas baked in the stone oven. Every bite is a delight! The wine selection is also impressive and complements the food perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly. The staff always tried to make our evening a special experience and were available to give us recommendations. Overall, Fellini is not just a place to eat well, but an experience for all the senses. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Italian cuisine and wants to have an unforgettable evening! I've known Fellini for several years. Unfortunately, the service and ambience have always been a bit mediocre and the drinks are priced above average. Unfortunately, last year and this year there were significant price increases and at the same time a decrease in quality. I recently ordered a Margherita pizza and a Vegetariana. Everything was okay with the latter, the vegetables were good. But about the Margherita, which is actually a pizza that is neither labor-intensive nor expensive in terms of ingredients. The price was already increased from less than 10 euros last year (2024). Now it costs 11.90 euros. In Italy you would go to prison for that. But to a decrease in quality. I was happy to pay the 10 euros because the pizza was topped with plenty of delicious sauce and apparently freshly sliced ​​mozzarella. There was also fresh basil as a taste and visual plus. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the cheese on my last pizza was of noticeably lower quality. The basil was also omitted. She also seemed a bit thinner to me, but I can't swear to that. In any case, it is no longer of a significantly different quality level than the pizzas from the Göttingen "Kebab Mile", if you consider the price difference of now around 7 euros. Too bad! At other Italians in Göttingen you can get it for less than 10 with good quality.
