I often go to Fellini when I miss Italy. The food and service are usually very good. But the last two times I was unfortunately disappointed, and I don't think I'll go again. A while ago, we were a large group, and although the food was good again, the service was not. The older man was very strange to us. He didn't really understand us and was kind of angry when he spoke. While serving, he was rude and made strange noises. It was an unpleasant experience.

I got a carbonara for 13.5 euros, which generally tasted decent, albeit too salty for my taste. However, one of the waiters I spoke to communicated confusingly and was generally unpleasant to talk to, leaving a bad impression of the service in the restaurant after I left.

Bad service. Fellini would be disappointed

Not a long wait, we were able to sit outside. But pasta dishes are not special, price is not appropriate for quality.

The pizza was good, the restaurant inside is pleasant. The two male waiters or owners were extremely rude from the moment we entered with my friends the restaurant. Whenever I tried to ask something because there was a miscommunication they were replying to me in a very dismissive and impolite way switching from speaking German immediately to Italian which I find extremely rude and inappropriate to treat a guest to your restaurant that way as if you have power over them. I enjoyed my food and my time with my friends but I am not going there again.

We had dinner at Fellini with 8 people on a Tuesday and it was excellent. We had various antipasti to share, then each had a main course (pizza, lasagna, ravioli, ...) and tiramisu and digestives for dessert. The food was fresh and super tasty, the portion sizes were good. Even though the store was full, the wait wasn't too long and it wasn't too loud for us. Everything fine!

The restaurant was the best value for money in Göttingen and the surrounding area. The service was always courteous, the portions were adequate, and the prices were fair... but... The prices have now reached record levels. Spaghetti Bolognese has increased by €4.60 in two years - now €13.50, and the portions aren't what they were a few years ago(!). Therefore, we won't be visiting this place again. That's really outrageous.

We traveled all the way from Kassel, and we were completely impressed. We'd happily return anytime. Pizza Fellini is highly recommended.

I've known Fellini for several years. Unfortunately, the service and ambience have always been a bit mediocre and the drinks are priced above average. Unfortunately, last year and this year there were significant price increases and at the same time a decrease in quality. I recently ordered a Margherita pizza and a Vegetariana. Everything was okay with the latter, the vegetables were good. But about the Margherita, which is actually a pizza that is neither labor-intensive nor expensive in terms of ingredients. The price was already increased from less than 10 euros last year (2024). Now it costs 11.90 euros. In Italy you would go to prison for that. But to a decrease in quality. I was happy to pay the 10 euros because the pizza was topped with plenty of delicious sauce and apparently freshly sliced ​​mozzarella. There was also fresh basil as a taste and visual plus. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the cheese on my last pizza was of noticeably lower quality. The basil was also omitted. She also seemed a bit thinner to me, but I can't swear to that. In any case, it is no longer of a significantly different quality level than the pizzas from the Göttingen "Kebab Mile", if you consider the price difference of now around 7 euros. Too bad! At other Italians in Göttingen you can get it for less than 10 with good quality.

You can really eat very well here. We would come back at any time. The service is friendly.

Wonderful food at very fair prices.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und hatten ohne Reservierung Glück einen Tisch im gut gefüllten Restaurant zu bekommen. In mediterranem Ambiente lässt es sich hier fantastisch essen. Im Sommer mit Gastgarten! Der Service war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam - auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Es gibt eine tolle Vielfalt an Speisen - von vegetarisch und vegan bishin zu Kinderprotionen. Die Pizza ist ausgezahlt, die Pasta fantastisch und auch vom Grill einfach ein kulinarisches Gedicht. Der Geschmack ist den Preis definitiv wert und dass am Abend man ohne Reservierung meist keinen Platz bekommt untermauert dies. Positiv ist einerseits die Stoffserviette und andererseits die Kinder freundliche Art aufgefallen. Auch, wenn durch Stufen das ganze Restaurant barrierefrei ist, ist es aber der vordere Gastraum. Die WCs waren sauber. Man konnte sich auch bei gefüllte Gastraum in einer Gruppe von 5-6Personen akustisch gut verstehen.

Pizza wasn't particularly big, sparse toppings and blunt knives. Wine selection poor. Long waiting time despite the fact that we were the first guests. Staff only come when requested. There are much better Italian restaurants in Göttingen

Antipasto per due are absolutely fantastic and worth 5☆. There is very, very good Polipo on it. --- Bruschetta very good. Insalata Mare a bit one-dimensional. It almost only tastes sour. Not nearly as good as the octopus in the antipasto per due. Tagliatelle alla Siciliana a bit disappointing. Fillet tips more coarse than fine. Sauce too sour, not fruity enough. Aubergine seems more carelessly thrown in than cleverly integrated. Tiramisu was a little too cold. This makes it feel too wet in the mouth. But otherwise good. Tartufo good.

The food is still quite good, but the portions have become smaller - and this is not just my personal opinion, but also shared by others. What struck me particularly negatively was that a service staff behaved rudely. After a friendly greeting, I don’t expect any negative comments about my appearance! Regardless of whether he disliked me personally or was simply in a bad mood, such behavior is unacceptable. Because of these experiences, I don’t want to go there again.

I just ordered a Pizza Tonno takeaway at 8pm and was really very disappointed with Fellini!! The pizza was completely burnt on the edge so it was inedible and there was almost no tuna on it. Really an imposition. Unfortunately it was a failure and not recommended. A pizza like this for such a high price? Just cheeky.

Last Sunday, we were at Fellini Essen again; my partner and I were there when we went out to eat for the first time. And we were immediately blown away! It was a perfect match. The food, the people who work there, and the atmosphere and furnishings. In addition, the opening times are perfect. When we were there again we discovered that there was even a winter terrace that was really very comfortable and since then we have preferred to sit there. In summer the garden is still open with a nice, cozy summer atmosphere and fairy lights. So we go here again and again and are very happy that we combine this restaurant with our first meal out. Sat in the winter garden on a Sunday evening after 8 p.m. Friendly service, quick and uncomplicated. I really liked the ambience, winter garden and terrace and also the interior. Menu selection card and extra asparagus menu as good as you would expect. Typical local dishes...As you could see at other tables, the pizza looked very good, large and certainly tasty... The pasta was also very tasty and also the Saltimbocca a la Romana... the best Saltimbocca so far what I ate. So the next time I'm in Göttingen, I'll definitely be back. Went there on Saturday evening and ate in the winter garden. It took forever until we could order. Payment took even longer and had to be demanded. The tortellini with truffles was lame. The pizza was good. Guests who speak Italian are known and are courted…we are not. I don't pay any tips.

I just expected more after the pizzeria was named the best pizzeria in Göttingen. I had the carpaccio as a starter, very standard indeed. For the main course I had a Pizza Margherita, the best pizza to try out in a pizzeria in my opinion. The pizza just didn't convince me, it was tasty, but it wasn't anything extraordinary.

Leider war das Essen sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten die Spaghetti Carbonara und die Pasta all'Amatriciana. Die Spaghetti waren gerade so weich genug um schon als "al dente" gelten zu dürfen. Die Pasta all'Amatriciana schmeckte, als ob der Koch lediglich passierte Tomaten drüber geschüttet hätte. Die Damen am Nachbartisch mussten ihre Spaghetti sogar zurück geben, weil sie noch so hart waren. Vom Preis und dem Flair hatten wir uns mehr erhofft.

Bin seit Jahre Stammkundin & stets zufrieden mit Pizza 🍕, Pasta & vielem anderem auf der umfangreichen Karte. 😋

Toller Italiener mit sehr leckerem Pizzabrot! Auch der Espresso kommt dem Originalen sehr nah. Wir haben hier eine Weihnachtsfeier mit 25 Personen gehabt und das Essen für alle kam recht zeitgleich. Faire Preise!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Preise ok und die Bedienung sehr nett. Am Wochenende und abends ist das Restaurant sehr gut besucht. Deshalb sollte man am besten vorab reservieren. Alle Speisen gibt es auch zum mitnehmen.

Went at 21:40 for a late dinner, was served quickly a very tasty pizza. The tiramisu was the only dessert left and was good too. English was well spoken.

The ambience was great, and it is always crowded so I would reccomend making a reservation. They have different kinds of pastas and pizzas. They have a one or two vegetarian options in each category although they were more than happy to make some of the other pastas with meat into vegetarian on request. I would reccomend to visit once the price and portions were appropriate. Personally, the mushroom pizza was my favourite compared to the pasta.
