Ristorante Rimini in Göttingen

Freitagabend draußen gesessen. Ambiente an der Straße natürlich nicht überragend und schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Service von der Freundlichkeit und Übersicht eher 4-… essen hat 1,5 Stunden gedauert, hatten Kleinkind (2,5 Jahre) dabei… Essen grundsätzliche solide, aber nicht sonderlich überragend.

Das Ristaurante "Rimini" in Göttingen gibt es schon über 40 Jahre. Die Speisekarte ist groß und vielfältig von Pizza, Nudeln, Fleisch- und Fischgerichten über Omelett, Suppen, Antipasti uvm gibt es sehr viel Auswahl - auch vegetarische Speisen. Die Canneloni und die Pasta Verdura waren lecker. Die Küche schließt schon um 21:00 Uhr, dann gibt es auch keinen Nachtisch oä mehr. Der Service ist bemüht, wobei wenn es voll ist doch der Ablauf ins straucheln zu kommen scheint - so brachte man an unseren Tisch die Pizza des Nebentischs (die sah lecker aus). Man kann laut Karte Allergene separat einsehen. Von vielen Gerichten wie Nudeln, Pizze usw gibt es auch eine günstige, kleine Portion nur für Kinder. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung. Es gibt einen angenehmen Innenbereich und eine Außenbestuhlung auf der Terrasse. Man kann auch mit Hund und Kindern dort hin. Das WC ist sauber. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze.

Vielleicht nicht die beste, aber gute Pizza der Stadt. Reichhaltiges Angebot in sehr guter Qualität zu zivilen Preisen. Große Terrasse an der Straße. Wie in Italien. Wir kommen seit 50 Jahren hierher. Irgendwie auch eine Zeitreise.

Leckerer Italiener mit originellen Speisen

Das Rimini in Göttingen hat etwas, das man heute nur noch selten findet. Man merkt sofort, dass dieses Restaurant schon viele Jahre besteht und genau das macht für mich den besonderen Charme aus. Es ist vielleicht nicht das modernste Restaurant, aber gerade deshalb fühlt es sich so authentisch an. Man spürt die Geschichte und den Charakter des Hauses. Alles wirkt ehrlich, gemütlich und mit viel Seele. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der Service. Die Kellner sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. So einen herzlichen Umgang mit Gästen erlebt man wirklich nicht oft. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben, ohne dass es aufgesetzt wirkt. In einer Zeit, in der viele Restaurants immer moderner und austauschbarer werden, ist das Rimini für mich eine schöne Ausnahme. Der besondere Flair, die angenehme Atmosphäre und die außergewöhnlich freundlichen Mitarbeiter machen jeden Besuch zu etwas Schönem. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hierher.

Das Essen und das Ambiente (Außenbereich) sind sehr empfehlenswert. Unser Kellner war allerdings etwas vergesslich und ging nur unter Nachdruck auf kleine Änderungswünsche ein.

Das Rimini ist nicht umsonst eines der am längsten bestehenden Restaurants in Göttingen - die Küche ist top, der Service ebenso. Die Gerichte sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet! Für mich der beste Italiener in der Region!

Das Essen war gut. Aber die Wartezeit... 🙈 Etwas mehr als 40-50Min... Man sollte nicht hungrig kommen 😁😁😁 Ich bin nicht sicher, ob es so gewöhnt ist...Das war unsere erstes Mal bei Rostorante Rimini...

Wir sind Stammgäste seit Jahrzehnten. Freundliches und flexibles Personal. Eine Speisekarte, auf der für jeden Geschmack, jeden Geldbeutei und jede Tageslaune etwas zu finden ist. Und das Ambiente kann auch der geniessen, dem sonst eher nach Glas und Chrom ist. Reservierung ist empfohlen: Qualität spricht sich herum.-

Carpaccio all'italiano mit Pizzabrot

Waren mit vier Personen Essen. Mussten leider über 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten (war ein Montag). Hätte als Entschuldigung wenigstens einen Kaffee o.ä erwartet, aber leider nichts. Das Essen war gut, aber selbst zum Bezahlen mussten wir das Personal mehrfach ansprechen, geht aus meiner Sicht gar nicht.

2 Scheiben Baguette pro Salat, 1 Stunde 20 min Wartezeit aufs Essen, Essen war lecker!

Last night, we went to Rimini Göttingen with our family to celebrate a birthday. We had two young children with us, ages 2 and 4, and from the moment we arrived, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant. The waiter at our table was incredibly attentive and friendly, and we felt completely at ease. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very attentive, and even special requests were promptly fulfilled. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening and the lovely birthday memory, dear Rimini! We always love coming back from Frankfurt to visit you :)

I'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, but my Hawaiian pizza had canned mandarin oranges on it. The ham was also cheap. We ordered a pizza to go, which is why we didn't notice until later. The service was unfriendly and made us wait a long time, even though the restaurant was almost empty.

Large menu with plenty of choices, perhaps a bit too large – a smaller, seasonal selection would have been better. Pizza was delicious, steak was okay. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and inside it still feels like it's from the 80s. Service was friendly, but it took about 30 minutes to take our order, and we weren't asked about additional drinks. Overall, a good restaurant, especially for outdoor pizza.

Super delicious. Service was very friendly and humorous. However, the waiter insisted that my fiancé pay (because he's the man). You can think what you will about that, but since my fiancé had to cancel his bank card the day before, the situation was a bit inconvenient for him. The atmosphere is great. However, due to the location at a crossroads, there can sometimes be a lot of traffic. Then it gets a bit noisy on the terrace. The food was absolutely excellent.

The stone-baked pizza is amazing, the tiramisu is super delicious, and the other dishes look fantastic too. The selection is so huge, it's hard to decide. But it's definitely worth a visit. The terrace seating is especially nice, despite being right on the street. Only the constant smoking is extremely annoying, but that's probably a general problem and not the restaurant's fault.

I have so many fond memories of Rimini – we've been there many times, and the ambiance, along with the super-friendly waiters, stands out. Unfortunately, I'm currently feeling torn about the food. There have been times when I wasn't always satisfied, but recently the food hasn't lived up to the restaurant's standards. The starter soup was unfortunately completely oversalted, and the main course, on the other hand, was bland. The fish platter consisted almost entirely of squid rings. We'll definitely be back at Rimini, but we also hope they return to their usual high standards.

Rimini in Göttingen is highly recommended! Delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The pasta was a particular highlight—freshly prepared and very flavorful. I'll definitely be back.

It was a great evening dining with family, everything was great, the french soup could have maybe used some more bread in the soup but it was really good! I never had risotto before but the risotto was delightful, maybe a bit too strong on the pepper but nonetheless great! And don't get me started on the tiramisu, it was all so good!

My wife and I went spontaneously and arrived at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. The terrace was practically empty, although one area had reserved signs posted, which were later removed. They clearly wanted all customers to sit in one area at the beginning. We ordered two drinks and a portion of olives, making it clear that we wanted an aperitif. The drinks came relatively quickly, and after 15 minutes I asked the waiter about the olives, to which he replied, "The kitchen is closed until 6 p.m." I told him I didn't need the olives anymore. You don't have to be a cook to serve a portion of olives. I would have liked, after telling him we wanted an aperitif, for the waiter to clarify that nothing would be served until 6 p.m. We drank our drinks and paid accordingly. I can't comment on the food.

The food was delicious and there is a large selection, and the price is worth it. The service, however, was not good. We had to wait around 15 minutes before we even got a menu, followed by further long waiting times for drinks (around 15 minutes) and food (a total of 50 minutes for the main course). When we got the starter, the cutlery and plates were missing, so the food was initially untouched in front of us until we received the cutlery. When we asked, we wanted salt with our food, but we only got pepper. It seemed as if the service staff were overwhelmed, perhaps because the restaurant was full - but the guests shouldn't have to suffer for that. The seat cushions were taken in shortly after 8 p.m., even though the restaurant is open until 9 p.m., so we felt rushed. There was also an unpleasant smell of sewage where we sat.

Standard prices are still okay, but the extra charge for additional pizza toppings is very high. And some of the mushrooms are probably canned unless there are fresh mushrooms included. We probably won't go there again in the next few years.

The boss's son was very unfriendly, the toilet was very unclean, not what it used to be. It used to be our favorite restaurant but now many people complain. The customer is no longer king here like he used to be. It's a shame, it's a shame

We have been regulars at Rimini for over 40 years, but the service has recently become so poor that we will now avoid the restaurant. Our food (pizza with salad) didn't arrive for over an hour. Apparently the older waiter had forgotten the order. When we had previously ordered a table, there were no more tables, so we had to leave hungry. Greetings to Alexander, with whom we are now very disappointed!

I have been enjoying the food and the nice atmosphere in Rimini for over 20 years. I still really like it despite the slightly dated charm of the rooms. The service is very nice and open-minded and the delicious food came quickly. I'm already looking forward to the next visit! Addendum to my 5 star review 4 years ago: unfortunately we have felt very unwelcome there for a few months, the otherwise really warm and considerate waiter is stroppy to indifferent, it takes a very long time for the food to arrive and you almost get the feeling that it is your own fault because you are there. When you tip generously, your eyes are rolled and there is no farewell greeting. I'm really disappointed, I'm deducting 2 stars and now I have to look for a new favorite Italian restaurant...

The furnishings are getting old, but they're almost so retro that they'll soon be modern again. Great service and very child-friendly.

The Rimini has existed for many years. Unfortunately there is a long time between my last visit and the current one. However, the quality of the food remained excellent. The atmosphere is rustic, cozy with special details. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. There is a large selection of food. There is something for everyone. Whether meat lover, vegetarian or vegan. Have fun and enjoy your visit to Rimini.

Unfortunately the service was extremely poor. We felt very unwanted. We were ignored and received rude comments. The food was okay. Pizzas very good, the rest cold and soggy. After we pointed out to the waiter that the food was partly cold, we were completely ignored. Apparently people here are only friendly to regular guests

Beste Pizza der Stadt. Freundlicher Service - bis eine Nachspeise reklamiert wird. Danach wurden wir ignoriert. Kein Service mehr am Tisch. Gäste blieben ohne weitere Getränke. Freundlicher kann man nicht gebeten werden zu gehen. Auch kein nettes Wort zur Verabschiedung.

Seit über 30 Jahren sind wir regelmässig hier und aus gutem Grund: Die Qualität ist immer gleich gut geblieben. Familienbetrieb mit lange gleichbleibendem Personal. Alle Pizzen entweder normal wie bekannt oder Steinofen (etwas größer und knuspriger). Auf spezielle Wünsche wird eingegangen. Heute hatte ich Miesmuscheln mit extra Spaghetti...

The pizza is a single zero number. I can't understand all the good reviews. Service was okay, although not particularly quick/attentive for the few guests. Ambiance + toilets are in need of renovation, not quaint.

I enjoyed going to Rimini from time to time. The terrace invites you to linger on warm summer evenings. However, AGAIN I was unlucky that the food I ordered was faulty. (Hence my rating, because something is wrong). For the salad I had to order the sheep's cheese, which according to the menu (and for me for the taste) is included. The mushrooms in white wine with onions (recommendation from the board at the entrance) turned out to be mushrooms gratinated with Gorgonzola...no apology from the waitress. Alexander seemed annoyed, the young waitress, who I didn't know, and the older gentleman seemed clueless.

We had to sit inside in the warm weather, although there were still enough seats available on the terrace because the unfriendly waiter wanted it that way. The food was very good, but you always have to be late if you ordered a dish with salad. After the salad we had to ask more often. Later we asked for a place on the terrace.

We really liked the ambience outside, a cozy terrace that invites you to eat and drink, the service was ok. I felt a bit annoyed at the beginning, maybe I had a bad day. When it comes to food, we (4 people) unfortunately all have to say that it was the worst Italian restaurant we have ever eaten. Starters were delicious (carpaccio) except for the bruschetta that only tasted like garlic, pizza wasn't much better like the Dönermann, lasange didn't taste like anything, there was no béchamel. Spaghetti was carbonara cooked with cream, on the whole very German cuisine that for us has nothing to do with Italy. We won't be eating here again, even though we really liked the ambience on the terrace, perhaps for a cozy evening of drinking.

The restaurant has a old wood boat-marine atmosphere and the service has been great since the moment I entered in the place. I ordered a Tagliatelle with Salmon and the Tiramisu. Both are highly recommended. I also want to thank you the waiter Alexander for the great service he gave us ❤️🙏

I don't have any photos, but you can have fun with the waiters (if you want to). We were there with two other families and three small children. The waiters looked after the children fantastically (very fond of children) and the food was a dream. Bruschetta, pizza, pasta and the like are all great. In addition, everything was worth its price! The ambience is typically Italian ❤️ We'll be back.

We were in this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime with 12 people. It was surprisingly full and yet we got our food quickly, which everyone enjoyed. It is very comfortably furnished there.

My husband and I have been eating there for almost 40 years, but even though we come from Einbeck, we are willing to make the trip. You are always warmly welcomed, the service is great and the food is excellent. You respond to requests if you want it to be different than what is on the menu. The furnishings are a bit old, but everything is neat and very clean and I think that's more important than anything else.

Had dinner there for a birthday. The pizzas were good, the pasta dishes were okay. Unfortunately the lasagne wasn't really good. The ambience with lake style is rustic and beautiful, unfortunately the ventilation blew a bit cold. The service was great and nice :)

Das Rimini fühlt sich nicht an wie der "Stadtitaliener" mit Durchlauf ohne Ende, sondern wie der nette kleine Italiener ums Eck, der mit Liebe und auch der nötigen Zeit seine Gäste bewirtet. Einzig das Ambiente, was manche als Charme bezeichnen würden ist mir persönlich ein bisschen zu altbacken. Zum Essen: Die Pizza ist super, die Pasta ebenso und der frische Fisch war auch Klasse !
