The owners of the Italian restaurant are extremely friendly people who know how to cater to guests with culinary flair and friendly, courteous service. The food is typically Italian, freshly prepared and very wholesome. The wine selection of Italian wines is exceptionally good. A gastronomic pearl in Passau!

We wanted to eat there today, but unfortunately it was closed, contrary to what Google said! What a shame!

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Il localino und waren begeistert. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Qualität der Speisen und der Geschmack haben uns restlos überzeugt! Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Bruscetta, das sowohl durch den Geschmack als auch durch die Kreativität punkten konnte. Zur Hauptspeise hatten wir Spaghetti Frutti di Mare und Rigatoni al forno, die super gelungen waren. Zur Nachspeise wählten wir das Semifreddo, das ebenfalls überragend war. Alles in Allem ist dieses Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind vergleichsweise niedrig. Danke an das Restaurant - Team!

Worst pizza in Passau! Avoid at all cost, Pizza is overpriced, very low quality, tasteless.

Food didn't convince me! Well-intentioned is not well-done. Soggy noodles, way too much, and little sauce don't make for a balanced meal.

We had lunch here on a Friday. There are a few tables street side but most seating is inside with a very attractive interior and authentic Italian feel. We arrived soon after it opened so there was only one family there for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered a tagliatelle pasta and a margherita pizza. We were surprised how fast the pasta came out. It was OK, but not cooked al dente. The serving size was actually over generous indicating it was supermarket pasta. It did come with a small dish of parmesan cheese unchilled which was good. On the other hand, the pizza dough was great and one of the best we’ve eaten outside of Italy. But the tomato sauce seemed to come from a jar or can rather than homemade and didn’t have much taste. The mozzarella cheese was also rather bland (no bufala on the menu). Prices are average except for the San Pelligrino sparkling water which was overpriced at E6. There was nothing wrong with this restaurant, but our lunch was nothing special either. It’s not a restaurant we would be in a hurry to go back to. It confirms our belief that eating Italian food outside of Italy is always a risk especially in a high tourist zone.

You won't find friendliness and cleanliness here. We were there to visit a swimming pool. The tables in the swimming pool area were all dirty and no one wants to voluntarily stay longer than necessary in the so-called restaurant area. So that it doesn't smell like old grease, all the windows are tilted so that there is a lot of air, even when the outside temperature is below 10 degrees. An impertinence when you come out of the warm swimming pool in wet swimwear. It doesn't work at all!! Food was edible but good is something else. Prices are pretty ridiculous for what you slap on the paper plate. Never ever!!

The service was rude, it seemed to me as if the waitress didn't care about her job at all, which made me feel very unwanted. The pizzas aren't good either. The floor was far too thin and the surface was very worn out. The one star is just for the iced tea, which was very delicious.
