Our first visit here will also be our last. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cool and impersonal. Overall, you sit very close together, which is neither nice when the guests pushing their way through the rows of tables clear your salad with their bottom, nor does it allow you to have a conversation at the table. The service staff was friendly, but also a bit overwhelmed and not very proactive: the dishes were served at large intervals (by the time everyone at the table had eaten, the first portions were almost cold...), empty glasses and plates remained, everything seemed uncoordinated and cheerless . The food ended up being quite unimaginative, bland and carelessly prepared. Price and performance are disproportionate. Why this restaurant has such good reviews remains a mystery to us.

Delicious food and friendly service We visited the pizzeria for the first time and were very satisfied. The grilled calamari was delicious, and we also enjoyed the tuna pizza with artichokes. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. The service was friendly and accommodating, which made our stay pleasant. We'd love to come back.

Food was good overall, why only 3 stars? The vegetarian canelloni: 3 rolls gratinated with mozzarella and tomato sauce for 14.9. Sorry, that's more than exaggerated. This might pass as an appetizer.

The seating is nice, the service is attentive, the prices are completely okay and the pizza is really exceptionally good. Which is certainly a question of taste, but I'm personally not a fan of Neapolitan pizza and so Gallo Nero is the perfect choice, as the pizza here is more of a Roman style.

I don't know in which restaurant, especially if it's not completely full, you have to wait 1 hour for your food (i.e. from the time you order until it's on the table in front of you). I mean, we've been here several times and apart from once when a meal (fish) was very blandly seasoned, everything was always good. Today, however, we sat for 55 minutes (from 6:15 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.) and only when asked was it said: "Another 5-8 minutes. It would be on the grill and yet very time-consuming." (Which I can't understand with a steak medium rare! I'm not a star chef myself, but I can still get a steak together and it doesn't take that long!) Not a nice experience if you have a ticket for the theater later (7:30 p.m.) and can't get out because of the time and still have 10 minutes to go and should be there 5 minutes before the start!), because you have to choke down a steak in three minutes , including salad and side dishes? That's not possible and even if it were possible, I wouldn't want to. At least they let us go without having to charge for the drinks. I'm still very upset, also because the restaurant was a good place to go before theater performances (which we go to often). To make matters worse, I had saved breakfast and lunch because I was looking forward to going to the restaurant! All in all: It's a shame, it didn't have to be that way and my parents are probably more upset than I am because they don't want to go in anymore. EDIT: Thanks for the answer! I would really like to give you a good rating because I like your food (especially the Steak Costata al Pepe, although I've also had some of your pizzas and also the Rigatoni al Forno!)...yes, maybe you could after 30 minutes can say something, but nobody really expects it to take this long - especially nothing came from you, i.e. "We have a large volume of orders right now, it will take a while!". Because then of course we could have reacted by pointing out that we don't have forever and we don't want to gobble it up!

The pizza, the grilled squid , the rosmarin beef and the tomato soup is out of this world. It incredibly delicious cooked to perfection ! One of the finest food in passau ! Highly reccommended. The waiters are very nice and super friendly but the atmosphere on saturday night can be a little bit loud. The place is quite full and I m grateful they manage to get us a table eventhought we have no reservation. Overall fantastic experience. 10/10 will dine again

Wir haben dieses Restaurant zufällig gefunden. Sehr schönes Lokal, wir waren 15 Personen, die Kellnerin fand einen Platz für uns. Sehr schön und lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich, jeder war schnell und sehr höflich.

Sehr gute Pizza. Wein ordentlich aber auch Rotwein sollte nicht 32 Grad haben. Das Wetter war sehr heiß und der arme Wein ebenso. Service freundlich und aufmerksam.

Sehr gutes Essen. Der Preis ist in Ordnung. Wir hatten 2 Hauptgerichte (1 Pizza und gegrillte Garnelen) Und zwei Kinderportionen Spaghetti Carbonara dazu 6 Getränke. Geschmacklich war das Essen sehr gut. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.

Hatten Pizza und Tiramisu für Take-away. Pizzateig ist sehr gut und knusprig. Die vegetarische Pizza ist besonders empfehlenswert. Wir haben telefonisch bestellt und innerhalb von 30mim waren die Pizzen pünktlich fertig. Gerne wieder!

Ambiente gradevole, proprietari molto cordiali e gentilissimi, anche al limite dell'orario di chiusura non ci hanno lasciati senza pizza, peraltro veramente buona. Siamo ritornati volentieri per gustare altri piatti!

Essen war sehr gut einfach klasse . Das Bruschetta was sehr salzig was wir auch gesagt haben und die Kritik wurde dankend angenommen und es wurde gleich reagiert. Selten erlebt, dass jemand so positiv auf Kritik reagiert und sich dafür bedankt👍🏼 Meine Frau hatte ein Pizza, diese war super lecker. Dünner Boden, leckerer Belag und super knusprig! Ich hatte Nudeln, die auch super lecker waren! Am Schluss mussten wir das Bruschetta nicht mitbezahlen, auch hier nochmal ein tolles entgegenkommen. Die Dame im Service war super nett!

Nettes italienisches Restaurant in Passau in der Innstadt Bräauchten kurzfristig Platz für 3 Personen. Das war kein Problem. Essen sehr lecker, die Nudeln waren mir zu viel aber lecker und die Pizza auch. Der Der Service war super nett. Der kleine Innenhof könnte noch etwas gemütlicher sein. Es war ein netter Abend

Abendessen wurde direkt im Restaurant abgeholt. Der Service war sehr schnell, schon nach 15 Minuten nach der Bestellung konnte das Essen abgeholt werden. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Gerichte selbst waren gut. Mein Fazit: Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis der Speisen ist sehr gut, ich werde gerne wieder bestellen.

Egal, ob vor Ort oder Speisen zum Mitnehmen: Ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit einem der besten italienischen Köche, die ich kenne! Das beste Pizzabrot auf der Welt. Ich kenne die Kochkunst von Ugo schon seit über 20 Jahren und bin nach wie vor ein großer Fan! Topp Service und mega freundlich. Wir nehmen uns abends, nach der Arbeit auch gerne Essen mit. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und absolut empfehlenswert. DANKE, dass es EUCH gibt!

Die beste Pizzeria Passaus und meines Erachtens ganz Niederbayerns. Ich gehe seit Jahren hin und reise sogar manchmal nur für diese Pizzas nach Passau. Service und Team sind super professionnell und extrem sympathisch. Schade, dass man nicht mehr wie 5 Sterne geben kann...

Wir waren an Silvester Abend im Restaurant. Trotz absolutem Hochbetrieb haben wir sehr sehr lecker gegessen und getrunken. Der Service war sehr gut, die Küche hat uns nicht lange warten lassen. Wir hatten einen Salat Gallo Nero mit einem herausragend erfrischendem Dressing, eine Pizza 4 Formaggi mit einem Pizzaboden so wie er sein muss. Das Tiramisu war so lecker und fluffig wie lange nicht gegessen und ein erfrischendes Limonensorbet. Hut ab an das gesamte Team. Eine Location, die sehr empfehlenswert ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

wir waren Anfang Oktober für 5 Nächte in Passau und sind durch Zufall bereits am ersten Abend bei diesem Italiener gelandet und-es war ein guter Zufall :-) das Essen und die Qualität sind hervorragend, Hauswein richtig gut, Service äußerst nett und freundlich, wir kamen noch an weiteren 2 Abenden und jedesmal ohne Reservierung und immer wurde herumjongliert, damit wir trotzdem bleiben konnten. wir können dieses Restaurant ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen, sollten wir zufällig wieder mal in der Gegend sein, wird wieder dort gegessen. Great food great service good prices first class. We overnighted in Passau and went to this restaurant. Not much more I can say but you should visit.

Friends recomended this place, so I went there for a pizza. I like this neighberhood in Passau. So we went in, the atmosphere was not realy welcoming...a bit to cold for me.We ordered a pizza. The service were done by students with little knowledge about the menu...friendly but amateurs. The pizza was the usual stuff. I wouldn't recomend the place, it's all right, average like many others. Nothing special. Don't think to go there again.

Very nice place in the Innstadt. Super friendly owners and service. Very good Foccaccia (which is more like a pizza bread but still great), good Pizza, very good grilled seafood platter. Excellent wine (try the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo they advise you to take), very good coffee.
