Das unfreundlichste Personal, mehr mag man gar nicht schreiben! Man kam sich vor als würde man nicht willkommen sein und wurde genauso bedient.

★★★★★ – The best pizza in Munich! I'm rarely speechless, but the pizza at True Romance absolutely blew me away. From the first forkful it was clear: Pizza isn't just made here - it's celebrated. The dough: perfectly airy and crispy at the same time. The ingredients: fresh, high quality and combined with so much love that you would like to celebrate them individually. The combinations on the menu in particular show that there is real passion and creativity in the kitchen. The atmosphere is casual, charming and stylish at the same time - you immediately feel at home. The service? Super warm and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that people work here who love what they do. True Romance lives up to its name - it's real love on a plate. If you love pizza, you have to go here!

Favorite Italian in Munich! Nice authentic ambience, super nice service, Italian music and the best food. The food here is really fresh and made from the best ingredients, no finished goods - you can just taste it and you get a good bottle of wine at a fair price. In the summer, with a spritz, you get a really nice Italian flair on the street and a good atmosphere. Top!

This review is for the Illy bar at the back of Eataly - generally I love Eataly and go here often. Great food, super nice staff, exceptional products! Now to the Illy Bar, more precisely to the employee who stood behind the bar yesterday at lunchtime and served the customers. I ordered a specific spritzer that was on the menu. He asked several times because he didn't understand (that's not a problem!) and then made it clear to me that they didn't have it there, in a way that sounded like I was totally wrong and what I even wanted from him. Then I asked for an alternative or a different spritzer that was also on the menu and he was visibly annoyed. Instead of saying, "Sorry, we don't have it here either," he rudely asked me, "Signora, turn around and look at what we have in the fridge." When he then asked if I wanted to order something else and I said yes, he got angry (facial expression + gestures). I didn't pronounce focaccia correctly and was arrogantly corrected. Again: the way I corrected myself was the problem, otherwise I'm happy to learn! He was very charming and friendly towards Italians and Italian speakers. Apparently you have to know Italian to be treated like a normal guest.

If pizza were depression. I really wish I was exaggerating. It took 10 minutes to get a waiter to pay attention to me and that was just to place my order. Well, that can happen when there's a lot going on. Then I watched as two other tables who arrived after me got their food before me - and yes, the waiters noticed that too, whispered something to each other and what happened then promptly: she comes flying in. When she finally arrived, over 30 minutes late, she was cold. I let the waiters know and you'd think after keeping me waiting so long they'd at least make a new one. No - they warmed up the same sorry excuse for a pizza and brought it back with the slice I had cut out. And after all that? The pizza tasted exactly like the service felt: lazy, sloppy and completely disappointing. The crust was tough on the outside and sticky on the inside, the cheese was fine, but the tomato sauce was watery, and the whole thing screamed "I don't feel like being here." Honestly, the chef should be ashamed for serving something like that. If you call this Italian cuisine, you should rethink your entire relationship with food. That wasn't Italian. That was an insult to Italians.

We stayed in the hotel next to this restaurant. We were seated at a table where the white cloth was covered with leftovers from previous guests. I had a broccoli penne, when the waitress put it in front of me I had to gag from the rotten smell. It also tasted very rotten so I left it!
