The beautiful interior design immediately creates a good feeling. Top quality dishes. Fish usually grilled, food generally with fresh ingredients, not greasy. Pizzas are also delicious and much better than in many other restaurants.

Nice cozy restaurant with good food. Are here more often. Almost all of the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, there is an older gentleman who likes to show his moods from time to time. Yesterday, for example, with us. Apparently he didn't like the fact that we just wanted something to drink. He then made us wait for a moment, which even surprised his colleagues. He paid almost no attention to our table the whole evening, so I always had to run to the front to place further orders with other colleagues. During the evening we also ordered something small to eat. When we wanted to pay, he put the bill and the EC payment device on the table and walked away, for whatever reason. When I held my card above it, as with almost all devices, the device couldn't read the card. Then he came and took my card and waved it around, basically it wouldn't work if I held it here and there and everywhere that didn't work. Ultimately it went through the display. This type alone is an absolute no-go. We still gave him a tip but the older gentleman was really unpleasant. And that doesn't work at all! That wasn't a good or pleasant evening in terms of service 👎🏼

Without the manager (very nice person) badly organized with new helper at the checkout totally lost. One star today, if I have to turn on the oven to heat the pizza in August.

We ordered via Lieferando. 2x pasta, 1 pizza, 1x tiramsiu and a cola. When I opened the lid of the Bolognese... there was already a smell of old minced meat... and after 2-3 forkfuls I couldn't eat any more... the Bolognese was just old and smelled so bad... but to top it all off... my daughter eats her beloved carbonarra and almost discovers a dead fly. Well, that really doesn't work! Never again!!! We don't dare eat the tiramisu anymore. The one star is only given because the pizza was good but otherwise…

We ordered three pizzas last week: 1- PECORINO, 2- VEGETARIANA, 3- SPINACIE GORGONZOLA. In general I can say that the amount of toppings is really small compared to all Italian pizzerias in Munich. The SPINACIE GORGONZOLA was better than the others, but still not overwhelming. I don't recommend them. I hope they can be more generous in the future, especially since their prices are not cheap.

Went there with a friend and her children, very friendly service. I can highly recommend the homemade ravioli with spinach and ricotta filling in sage butter. The pizzas and pinsa were also very tasty.

The man who greeted us was very rude and impolite. It was clear that he did not want to accept the order and talk, he answered in monosyllables. It was unpleasant, the whole atmosphere was lost. I do not advise

I was in the restaurant several times, I decided to organize every two Sundays there, 15 to 20 people, because the waiter Mimmo was there and everything was really right with the world. When Mimmo was there, I brought 40 people to the restaurant every month. Mimmo is no longer there. All the waiters are super friendly, except for Franco, who is unfortunately always annoyed and stressed. This is the second time he has served us, I actually asked for someone else to come to us. The first time he even apologized, saying he was stressed. Yesterday we waited 1.5 hour, we were not allowed to get menus until everyone was there (this was not a wedding and the first thing that is done in a restaurant is to bring the menu, also because people have to know what they pay), after an hour we asked for bread because everyone was hungry, in the meantime two of them left... We were only allowed to get bread when there was food... in the end, after 1.5 hours we ordered may. They claimed that the place was full but all the tables were empty, they should see Tou Bakali....One goes and the other comes, three waiters, delivery...we never had a problem with Mimmo and I hope so that I can see him again soon. Those were the times, never waited, fast, always friendly and the joy that he communicated...in any case, this Franco and Vito, who proved Franco right in the end, are a no go and even if the food was very good is, we will go somewhere else. There are many restaurants, they have probably forgotten what happened during the pandemic. Of course, if we could have ordered, people could have spent more money! Thank God there are places like Alma & August, Potlasch, Bistro N. 2 (I bring over 100 people to Bistro every month, there are only two waitresses). We are always welcome there! No more La Ruota!

It's been a long time since I've had such good spaghetti frutti di mare. Highly recommended!

I had reserved a table a few days before. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday that day, I asked if it would be possible to organize a little something. (Flowers or candle on the table) Since we went on a weekend trip to Munich, I wasn't able to organize it myself. I was assured on the phone that this wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived at the restaurant, no one knew anything about a reservation. We were then seated at a table in the hallway to the next room. When I asked what had gone wrong and pointed out the birthday again, we were told that the reservation had been made by a colleague and was probably entered accidentally on the day of the call. But now you want to give your best. This best part is that they didn't even ask if everything fit. Our empty glasses were also ignored. The one star is for the food, which was very tasty. Nevertheless, we are disappointed with the evening and return to the hotel.

The seafood pizza is delicious. I recommend.

All in all a solid Italian. It's even open all day and at the weekend XD... that's something for Laim.

Wir können die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Bei unserm Aufenthalt waren wir mehrmals dort essen. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend die Reservierung hat problemlos geklappt. Die verschiedenen Pizzen waren durchgängig gut belegt und geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch die unterschiedlichen Nudelgerichte waren sehr gut, vor allem die Pasta aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Trüffel lohnt sich zu erwähnen. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis passt ebenfalls. Beim nächsten Besuch im München kommen wir sicher wieder in das Restaurant , dann sehen wir ja ob das Niveau gehalten wird.

Nice Italian restaurant. Nice food, excellent pizza. If anything, the bread of the bruschettas was too hard. Service, so, so. We had asked for two baby chairs in advance, but they weren't available. Also, it took them a long time to bring the main course after the Antipasti. Good, but some room for improvement.

In the past we're going to this restaurant occasionally. We were often very satisfied. Now, I think, it is better to stay at home and cook or get a frozen pizza then you know what you are paying for. We live not very far from this restaurant, however, we opted this time for delivery. The ordering process online was quick and easy. The food was delivered hot. We had 2 pasta dished delivered. One dish was just about the right amount. The second container was not filled enough when comparing both containers. It felt like a joke. Cheap, cheap, cheap. The ingredients were the cheapest possible. When the eye skimmed the meal, the ham always popped out. The ham looked disgusting. Sauce was not enough, especially when looking at the pasta dish with bolognese ragout. There was hardly any. Any, lesson learnt. Won't be eating out for a while. Too expensive for what you get.

For me, “La Ruota” belongs to the “favorite Italian” category; here you are greeted with a handshake and always well served, even in everyday life for a quick lunch or when you pick up a pizza. Fine quality and a great dough, special requests (gluten-free etc.) are also taken into account. Simply great!

We were there 4 weeks ago and the four of us paid just over €200 for 4 main courses, 3 desserts and drinks. My rabbit was tough, the other 3 main courses looked okay, my husband's gnocchi tasted average. Our tiramisu was good, but my husband's Zuppa Inglese turned out to be a bee sting decorated with a heap of spray cream and some strawberry sauce or syrup. Impudence! Since our companion often eats there, I didn't want to open a barrel, but the store no longer sees us. For comparison: the day before yesterday the four of us ate a 4-course meal with an aperitif, 2 bottles of rosé, espresso and digestif in sensational quality on Balanstrasse for €216 - so there is another way! Conclusion: Nice service, nice location, food far too expensive for the quality.

Just delicious Italian food. The staff is kind and unique. This is a store that you can use everyday.

Best Rissoto Frutti di Mare I've tried

The food in general has been very poor. The pizzas used to be great. Today there are pickled peppers on the pizza instead of fresh peppers. And a pizza that actually only tastes sour, since the pepperoni also tastes like vinegar, is no longer a real treat. The covering has become noticeably more economical, but the price is significantly higher. The lunch menus are also a joke to say the least, but here too they are significantly overpriced. Unfortunately, the service isn't particularly good either. It's a shame, I've known La Ruota for several years. I can no longer recommend this restaurant. And we won't be going there any more soon.

We reserved a table for 6 adults and 3 babies. When we were there we were told that we couldn't have a high chair because one was broken and the other was already at another table. So we were allowed to hold our babies in our arms. It's a shame, because such chairs are cheap and are indispensable given the size of the restaurant.

Perfekt geeignet wenn man auf unfreundliche Kellner steht. Nach 30 Minuten Wartezeit und mehrmaliger Nachfrage total ungenießbare vergessene und bockelharte Lasagne serviert bekommen. Keine Entschuldigung nichts: wurde ja gnädigerweise nicht berechnet..

They have raised prices a lot with the excuse of raising taxes. I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and once a week at noon to the one in Pasing, and unfortunately the prices have risen a lot (more than the MwSt adjustment). They have also removed the largest pizza (Famiglia) from the menu, and you must order two pizzas, which is much more expensive than the old Famiglia. The tiramisu at €7... I'm sorry for the magnificent staff that works there, but I will hardly go to this restaurant anymore, but maybe order some pizza to take away (which are tasty, on the other hand)

We came to this Italian restaurant by chance. And will come back. The waiters were very friendly, nice and very accommodating. Everyone created a great atmosphere. The seafood risotto, the Pizza Italia and the Pinsa Nicole were delicious and served very quickly and at the same time. A highlight was the Dolci platter for two people. We felt completely comfortable. A clear recommendation from us!

Unfortunately only an offshoot of La Routa in Pasing. Food was boring (whether pizza or pasta), the service is absolutely overstaffed and gets in the way, long waiting times. There are so many basics missing here that it is difficult to write everything. The ambience, like the food, is boring and not coordinated, and unfortunately it looks very cheap.

Lunch menu with three courses at an absolutely competitive price and excellent quality. You don't have to say a word about La Ruota Pizza, it has been a benchmark for other restaurants for years, but the pasta is also great. Just right al dente and with homemade sugo. Keep it up! Update 2024: still applies!

Man muss sich beinahe entschuldigen dass man hier was essen möchte. Soviel zum Service... Die Pizza war mit billigstem schinken und Käse usw. belegt,dass mir lange übel war. Das risotto mit meeresfrüchten möchte ich nie wieder essen.

We had the tuna and octopus starter. This is easily one of the best fish starters we have ever had. The mains also great. The ink/black spaghetti was not great and we couldn't finish it. The waiter kindly offered to replace it and then simply removed it from our bill. It's this kind of service that makes you feel so grateful. Highly, highly recommend

Ich finde die Inneneinrichtung und die Terrasse sehr schön und gelungen. Der Kellner/ Service war sehr gut. Salat war gut. Die Pizza 🍕 leider geschmacklos und ungenießbar. Sehr schade mit den Pizzen, sonst wären wir gerne öfter gekommen

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit einer tollen Auswahl. Die Speisekarte ist auch sehr interessant. Ich muss auf jeden Fall nochmal hin. Die Kalbsleber war super.

Waren heute zum Schulstart im Integrale. Das La Routa am Knie gehört zu unseren Lieblings-Restaurants, also wollten wir auch das Integrale mal probieren. Leider war unsere Bedienung der Situation nicht gewachsen. Wir mussten gefühlte Ewigkeiten auf die Karte, die Getränke, das Essen warten. Beim Vitello Tonnato ist der Geschmack gewohnt prima, einzig ist im Vergleich zum Hauptrestaurant viel weniger Sauce drauf. Die Pinsa und die Pizza waren typisch italienisch... Perfekt und sehr gut! Der Espresso am Ende war leider sauer. Alles in allem eine durchschnittliche Erfahrung. Beim nächsten Mal gehe ich jedoch lieber wieder ans Knie.

The interior and exterior could be better. But that's all from the minuses. Reasonable prices, like everywhere. A good selection of dishes on the menu. Incredibly tasty dishes. Fresh products and perfectly cooked, just like in Italy. It is worth noting the taste of Aperol - it is perfect, the right proportions for the right taste. Not too light, not too diluted. Exactly as it should be. Also, the service is at a higher level. The advance reservation was accepted, waiters communicated perfectly, they were interested in whether everything was fine. And they were friendly. I recommend it.

Hier ist es immer sehr gut und schön zum Essen zu gehen wir sind schnell mal zum Pizza Essen gegangen kein Problem genügend Platz hingehen ausprobieren Guten Appetit

Früher wars wirklich besser. Schade Essen wird immer geschmacksloser und mit weniger Liebe zubereitet. Qualität (u.a. Portion) hat nachgelassen, während der Preis sich erhöht. Finde die Preiserhöhung absolut richtig wenn alles teuer geworden ist. Aber die Qualität hat auch nachgelassen, das verstehe ich nicht

Die Pizza war ok, fands schade dass die Salami qualitativ leider nicht so gut war. Die Glutenfreie Pizza war geschmacklich gut. Der Kellner war sehr nett.

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstag mit 10 Personen hier essen. Das Restaurant war gut besucht. Nach 1 Stunde wurden für 8 Personen Essen gebracht. 2 Personen bekamen ihr Essen nach 3 mal Nachfragen als die anderen Personen mit dem Essen fertig waren. Außerdem wurde nicht geschaut dass man die fehlenden Gerichte schnellstmöglich serviert sondern es wurden erst einmal andere Tische bedient. Dass das mal passieren kann ist indordnung nur hätten wir uns gewünscht das Essen schnellstmöglich serviert zu bekommen bzw. eine Entschuldigung der Verspätung zu erhalten. Die Pizzen waren gut. Die Pasta Gerichte zu klein für den Preis. Ohne Vorspeise wird man(n) nicht satt. Das Lokal liegt an einer starkbefahrenen Straße wodurch es im Außenbereich lauter sein kann.

Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker, die Preise völlig im Rahmen. Leider war der Service heillos überfordert, sodass man weit über eine Stunde auf Essen und Getränke waren musste. Trotzdem noch 4/5.

Die Pizza ist super lecker, das Essen allgemein sehr gut. Wer gut italienisch essen gehen will, ist hier genau richtig. Mit einer netten Terrasse für warme Tage und schönem Dekor. Auch zum Abholen das Essen echt gut. Pizza ist immer in ca. 15 Minuten fertig. Lieferung auch möglich.

Warum nur einen Stern? Normalerweise hätten wir drei gegeben: durchschnittliches Essen für einen relativ hohen, aber im gastronomisch verwahrlosten Munchen normalen Preis. Dann kamen als Primo Spirelli mit Speck, Burrata und Pesto. Hat uns neugierig gemacht. Es kam ein Teller mit weicher Pasta und Pestomassen, Rest Fehlanzeige. Auf unsere freundliche Nachfrage kam ein "Oh, vergessen". Auf der Rechnung dann über 15 € wie in der Karte. Naja, man muss ja nicht hin.

Das Essen war gut aber leider wurde in dem Restaurant nur unzureichend geheizt. Folge des Besuchs war eine heftige Erkältung.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und anfangs noch sehr aufmerksam. Gegen Ende hat es etwas nachgelassen und wir mussten mehrmals auf uns aufmerksam machen (bei der Dessertbestellung sowie Rechnung). Das Bruschetta als Vorspeise war sehr lecker. Ich kann als Hauptgang nur die Pizza beurteilen, welche sehr lecker war, vor allem der Teig. Meine Freundin hat das Erdbeer Tiramisu von der Wochenkarte bestellt. Erst nach knapp 10 min wurde uns dann gesagt, dass es das nicht mehr gibt. Nächstes Mal probiere ich gerne mal ein Pastagericht, die klingen auch sehr gut. Preis-Leistung ist okay.

Ich bestelle seit circa 5 Jahren Pizza im La Ruota oder gehe direkt Essen in Pasing oder Laim (Friedenheimer Strasse). In Laim habe ich nun zum letzten Mal Pizza bestellt, da ich mich seit ungefähr Corona-Beginn 2020 als Gast extrem verarscht fühle. Die Pizza war immer sehr gut und auch groß (so wie angegeben), jedoch werden diese immer kleiner aber dafür teurer! Ich habe zum dritten Mal hintereinander eine normale Pizza (32cm) zum mitnehmen bestellt und sie ist mittlerweile auf die Größe von Dr. Oetker vom Rewe geschrumpft. Die anderen beiden Pizzen waren sogar kleiner oder max gleich groß (bei erhöhtem Preis). Am Ende vom Tag betrügt das Ristorante seine Gäste und ich war das letzte Mal dort.

Wir hatten gute Erfahrung in dieses Restaurant. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, das Service Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Man musste nicht so lange auf das Essen warten und der Hauswein ist zu empfehlen.

We have ordered during Easter 4 Pizzas in family size and as a italian family we were disappointed because the restaurant had very good reviews and so was their appearance. Service, Atmosphere and the warmth of the waiters were exceptional. It felt like you've passed time in Italy. The disappoint and most important part were the Pizzas. Lacked pretty much of everything except of toppings. Bread tasted old, tomato sauce tasted sour and they were all dry af and lacked salt, like basic amounts of salt in every part of the pizza. They gifted us a small Tuna pizza due to Easter but that wasn't good either... All in all I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to eat pizzas but to visit and eat maybe meat or fish plates definitely would give it a shot because of the great atmosphere.

Uns schmeckt es hier immer, wir haben nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich und die Zutaten frisch, die Weinauswahl ist gut und es gibt auch ein gscheites Helles. Wir lieben vor allem die Nudel- und Fleischgerichte, aber auch der Salat und die Nachspeisen sind prima. Schöne Räumlichkeiten, aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Gestern Abend waren wir in La Ruota. Ich bin Italienerin, ich kann wirklich behaupten, dass alles gepasst hat. Das Essen war sehr gut, ich kann die Calamari Grigliati empfehlen. Die Atmosphere war super schön und alle sehr freundlich. Ein Lob zu Mimmo, der die Bestellungen ohne sich etwas aufzuschreiben, annimmt und sehr lustig ist. Heute bin ich dahin mit zwei Freunden nochmal gegangen. Alles hat wieder gepasst. Vielen Dank für den netten Abend....immer wieder gerne.

An dem Kellner Mimmo könnten sich viele Kollegen in anderen Gaststätten etwas abschneiden. Er ist voll engagiert, sehr lustig und geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste voll und ganz ein. Wir waren am Samstag dort essen, alle Speisen waren ausgezeichnet. Wir werden wieder kommen.
