Love this place, and come here every time when in Munich. Although they set a relatively high prices, the food and drinks are of the exceptional quality! I love pinza, croissants, gelato and other dolcis. Highly recommended! A small Italy in Germany :)

Very great concept! Large selection of Italian specialties. The prices are high. What really stands out negatively is the staff who don't pay attention to the customer and are instead busy with themselves or arguing behind the counter.

Where else should you go? At Eataly you get everything you're missing! Italian flair, friendliness and great service. Not to forget ! The delicious dishes. For me one of the best concepts there is in Munich. Be sure to try the pizza! As well as everything else there too. It's ideal to go there with a large group so you can eat a bit of everything.

Good products but the prices are really high and the fact that you have to queue for ages at the checkout to leave your money there is a bad joke...

We felt very comfortable. Despite many occupied tables, drinks and food were served quickly and tasted very good. The high prices are simply Munich conditions. A warm greeting to Annalisa and Andrea, our service team of the evening, who left nothing to be desired!!

We were at the long night of enjoyment last week and that was actually it. You sit together and pick up the tastiest delicacies from various stalls and at the same time learn something about the history. Only recommended.

We actually enjoy coming here again and again because the Aperol Spritz is really excellent. Expensive, but very good. We have never been disappointed with the food either. The market hall itself boasts a large selection of Italian products, a Venchi ice cream shop and a vegetable shop and butcher shop. Here too, the prices are high, but the location, the selection and the quality are good. As a small downer: We had a two-for-one voucher for a Spritz through the cinema at Olympiasee (cooperation with Eataly). This voucher was given in advance and the Aperol was significantly waterier than usual. It's a shame - we would have liked to stay much longer, but that wasn't a good start to the evening!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. My companion and I had lunch in Italy today and paid a total of 65 euros for two dishes. I had spaghetti bolognese and my friend had tortellini - unfortunately we both threw up about half an hour after eating. It was an expensive meal that not only didn't taste great, but also caused us health problems. The service was also not very attentive. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Italy and will not be coming back.

PATATA EATALY CON TARTUFO NERO were really tasty and we would order that again. Unfortunately, the SPAGHETTO EATALY CON STRACCIATELLA and the pizza FILETTO did not convince us. Unfortunately, they weren't that tasty and we missed the love for Italy. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement. The atmosphere is very pleasant and you can end the evening here with friends/colleagues after work.

Hi , We were heading towards a falafel joint , but while walking down we saw this place called eataly . The ambience looked cool and classy , so thought to giv it a try. We ordered for a simple Pizza magerita with olives and Apfel Kirche Shorle . The pizza was definitely light but too baked with edges turned black and also the olives were not too tasteful . Post dinner waited long to get the bill and pay. Prices also seemed to be high , 18 € for a simple pizza To sum it up : Food - 2.5/5 Service -2/5 Ambience -4/5

Not really convincing. The salad with turkey was prepared very simply for the high price... just green salad with a few thinly sliced ​​carrot wedges, the meat was in thick pieces on top. The best part of the dish was the dressing, the barely there ham and the parmesan. The pizza was topped with a lot of cheese, so that the salmon was lost in taste. We weren't there to eat. This time we only went to the Aperol Bar. It's really unique and it's always fun.

The children in my daughter's daycare are much better organized. But if you take it with humor, it's funny to watch.

Our server seemed annoyed that we weren’t fluent in German or Italian, which made the experience uncomfortable. While I enjoyed the meal, the overall vibe just didn’t match the quality of the food.

My cousin ordered calzones and I ordered pasta. The calzone was badly burnt. We complained about them. Then a second one was served, but it wasn't any better either. As a consolation we each received a limoncello. We cannot make any recommendations after this experience. Maybe we chose the wrong foods.

Aperol Tuesday is very tempting and the Aperol tastes good. However, the service left something to be desired as we were repeatedly ignored and forgotten. The cutlery and the table were dirty. The food is nothing special and doesn't taste good. The burrata was just slapped onto the plate and tomatoes placed next to it. The pasta and pizza weren't good either and everything was overpriced. The only positive thing is the location and the Schrannenhalle itself with high quality products.

Great place to get a quick excellent meal during lunch. Got myself an italian sandwich with salad, rucola, prosciutto, truffle oil, tomatoes and burrata/mozarella. Best thing i’ve eaten in a long time. Bread (probaby ciabatta) was really nice and crunchy and the flavours …. Just wow. I was so surprised by the taste . So good . And price was really fair too . Will definitely visit again :)

In principle I think Eataly is great, great selection etc. Ordered an aperol today to sit outside on the Eataly terrace in the evening. Only went in a plastic cup (no glass, for whatever reason) and then I got a cup filled with ice for €9. After I complained, I was just insulted in an unfriendly manner. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all...

I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday here with 9 guests and I couldn't have asked for anything better! I went there in person a week beforehand to discuss everything. There was great and clear communication and I received very good recommendations and ideas. I decided on a delicious aperitif with sausages, focaccia, sun-dried tomatoes, caprese and gnocco fritto. Afterwards came a tiramisù, a prosecco and delicious Italian pastries. The evening went perfectly, we had a great and joyful atmosphere, we ate really well and everything was well looked after! Shopping is good, eating out is not! The food was nothing! Had spaghetti aglio olio that tasted like nothing and was drowned in oil. My husband had pizza margarita - was very under seasoned - actually tasteless. We expected more. But at least you get an espresso on the house as a consolation.

We come here very often. Mainly for shopping. Here you can get everything your heart desires. There is a huge wine cellar and various places to eat on site. You can definitely shop sensibly here if you know the prices and pay attention to offers. The espresso and the Tartlette della Nonna are very, very good. In general, we like to grab an Aperol and a piece of luggage or a small treat here and relax here before or after shopping. We like to come back again and again.

In the hall you can buy delicious and unusual food as well as souvenirs. Unfortunately the prices are very high. You can sometimes test some of the foods. There are also small treats and coffee and an ice cream parlor. There is a huge selection of wines to browse in the cellar. Sometimes courses such as cooking courses or wine tastings are also offered in the cellar. I recommend Eatly Munich. Access to the hall is barrier-free.

Italian supermarket with nice bistros on the side. Antipasti platter was very tasty and the Burrata Caprese was top. (tomatoes perfectly ripe) In the end, the only negative thing was the confusion on the bill. Instead of €16, the antipasti plate cost €26. When asked, we were told we had ordered from the wrong waiter who was responsible for a different area and it would be more expensive. When we pointed out that we had ordered from the bistro menu and not the restaurant menu, i.e. we didn't know about the more expensive version, the waiter dismissed it. Had the worst service ever, took ages for the waiter to reach us. Afterwards we have waited a full hour to receive our pastas. For some reason the waiter forget to tell the kitchen to start cooking our meals. Other tables that arrived after us got their food while we sat there waiting and starving. Didn't even asked how was the food, neither offered us anything else and did not apologize.

Wow.. Eataly does not fail to disappoint. The service is great, the food is incredible the atmosphere, being situated right next to Viktualienmarkt, is nice. I had the Calzone with Ricotta and Salame and it was perfectly cooked. The dough tasted great and was baked very nicely. The ricotta and salame together tasted fantastic. It went really well with some oilio piccante 😋

Happy little island of comfort food, which tastes amazing. We went twice for the pizza and other dishes and always left satisfied. Compared to the Eatalys I've been to in three other countries, Eataly Munich is far behind. The service is very slow and unsuccessful compared to others, the food comes very late, the ventilation is problematic, you have to make an effort even to pay your bill. Stay away from this place. Food was catastrophic. We ordered caeser salad and how much they could make wrong out of it! The worst food ever! Chicken was rubbery, undercooked and its consistency was as if it had been socked for hours in water, without any flavor. Bacon was burned and super hard. We could not eat the salad. The waiter did not even bother to ask why is the food not eaten and he just took the plates away. DO NOT go there.

We were there this evening, we had Ascoli olives, fried gnocco, ravioli and sliced ​​scottona, finishing with a tiramisu! EVERYTHING EXCELLENT!!! The real Italian experience, where you will be spoken with the very best rude Italian mannerisms. 🤌🏻 They seem to be delighted by ignoring the costumers, and they are always stressed and with a lot of work... just waiting to explode at any moment 🤯, somebody give them a break, or a spa day. 😂 It turns out that they can be nice when they come to take your request, specially when you ask for the bill, they smile and wait for the tip like a happy dog waiting for their treat 🐶 Recomend you to come with change if you don't want to give them tips, because they won't give you the change to your payment thinking you are tipping them. 💰 The food is good though. 🍝 We ate here twice, so I'm channelling the first experience in this coment. Turns out that the second day's waiter was way nicer. 😊

We ate at Eataly in the Rossopomodoro pizzeria section. By ordering two pizzas, specifically the Neapolitan one with buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomato, anchovies, olives, pesto and basil. Truly delicious!

You don't feel welcome. At the entrance we were ignored for a while until we were shown the area where we could sit down. We weren't asked for a long time if we wanted to order drinks. Then comes the pizza... partially burnt. We didn't like both pizzas this time, in contrast to previous visits. After the burnt pizza was half eaten, a waiter asked us if he should have the pizza remade. Maybe well-intentioned, but way too late.

I struggled with myself for a long time and if I could I would give it 3.5 ☆, but definitely not 4 ☆. The benchmark is other food halls from Lisbon to Mallorca to southern Spain. What is striking about Eataly is that it is spread over 3 floors, which works rather poorly in the Schrannenhalle. When we visited on a Saturday lunchtime, the upper floor was not open and the wine shop on the lower floor was poorly attended. The two older ladies with me ate an appetizer of a tomato/olive/squid mishmash that was served on a soggy foccacia. Result: almost inedible, at least for Italian palates. I bravely put everything on one card and had a large (?) fish platter for almost €36... but there was no fish on it, completely naked and without any side dish. To be fair, that's what it says on the menu: octopus, seppia and shrimp, but served as a children's portion that is perhaps a tad too large. The slightly tough grilled vegetables are also €8 extra. I was aware of this after carefully studying the menu. However, the result remained far below expectations. The seafood was undoubtedly fresh, but rather carelessly packed on the grill, almost unseasoned and the king prawns still contained the intestines. I immediately ordered the plate back to the kitchen. After 10-15 minutes he came back and at least visually nothing had changed except that everything was properly done. I then let the cook convince me that he had removed the intestines and you couldn't taste it anymore. However, he had overlooked a small remainder. We then ate and drank to combat our dissatisfaction with more glasses of wine (0.1 l for 7-12 €) and a bowl of mussels and were partially successful. The mussels were good. Conclusion: Even in top restaurants you can still get all sorts of things for just under €44 these days, including great culinary art. Here in the Eataly restaurant, apart from the freshness of the ingredients, there was nothing that couldn't have been done equally or better on the grill at home. Everything was done carelessly and didn't even show any signs of culinary art. To be fair, the pizzas I know from previous visits taste quite good. I can't comment on pasta dishes, but I suspect that they're okay. otherwise there would be less going on. The Piedmontese ice cream shop chain Venchi is probably well known to many. The Caffe Affogato with Venchie ice cream tasted good, as did a few sweet items that I ordered. Everything is self-service and you should be able to endure the waiting time when queuing with patience. There is ice cream in the front, coffee specialties and wonderfully sweet pastries in the back. A comparison with the recently visited "Time Out" food hall in Lisbon is difficult. Lisbon is clearly superior to Munich in terms of cuisine and so expectations are different. The makers of Eataly in Munich have obviously recognized this and probably think that the Munich resident who loves roast pork is otherwise rather inexperienced in terms of cuisine and the tourist from Asia is anyway. Instead of seizing the opportunity and developing gastronomic ambition, people prefer to sit back and not put in as much effort as the guests deserve. Too bad!

Can't recommend the place at all. Wine spritzer €12, homemade cola was undrinkable and a waiter wanted to withhold the remaining money from me after I paid. Ripping things off and selling them for fools is not possible. Never again.

I was here with my girlfriend. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time until someone came over to ask what we wanted to order. The two of us then only ordered an Aperol spritz, which was good based on the taste. Nobody came by later to ask if we wanted to order anything else or if everything was OK. We spontaneously stopped at Eataly. For dinner we decided on the TAGLIATELLA CON RAGÙ ALLA BOLOGNESE and RUSTICHELLA DI POLLO DISOSSATA. The food was subpar and the entire family spent the next day on the toilet because of diarrhea. When paying, we noticed that the prices on the menu are net and not gross, which means that when you get your bill, it will be a lot higher even though it is already completely overpriced. Definitely an illegal procedure that should be investigated by an authority! Overall, it was the first and last time our family ate here. If I could I would give no star at all, but unfortunately that's not possible.

This review is not about the restaurant but about the market. I would like to share my experience with the cheese I brought from the Eataly market. The scamorza cheese is really not at all good.

Location nice, the pizza and bruschetta were also good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The waiter made us stand around in front of our table for 5 minutes because he "had" to put the place settings down first and since he was stressed and in a bad mood, he was also extremely unfriendly during the service. In addition, the truffle pasta was inedible and the Caesar salad was so-so... at least we were offered a coffee at the end for the long wait - but we didn't have the time (or desire) for it anymore.

Although the food is great every time I come the service is really slow, since there are so many tables and very little servers. I kinda dread coming here now, because I always have to wait and the servers can’t be found half of the time.
