Waouh !! I just love the concept of eat Italy in München compared to the one in Dubaï. It is very large ,luminous ( lots of windows ) You find all the best products of Italy . You can also eat inside or outside as there are restaurants. If you do not have time you can also buy a foccacia / pizza to take away. They always have some discounted products . Downstairs there is a beautiful room to try a glass of wine. Washrooms are not free ( 50 cents) I will come back Thank you to the team

The atmosphere is very nice and the service is very friendly. However, Italian hot chocolate is far too bitter and simply tastes like melted chocolate. Unfortunately we didn't like it

The location is nice, the staff does everything and is friendly, but they don't seem very motivated and rarely come to the table for repeat orders etc. Rather expensive prices, bread had to be ordered with the Vitello Tonnato for a fee.

Located directly on the Viktualienmarkt, Eataly is not only central, but also wonderfully embedded in Munich city life. The huge selection of Italian delicacies, high-quality ingredients and excellent wines will make every foodie's heart beat faster. Whether fresh pasta, fine oils, original Italian sausage and cheese specialties or sweet classics - you can find everything that defines Italian cuisine here. There are also several great cafés and restaurants that impress with fantastic food – the taste is really top-notch! Admittedly, the price is a little higher, but the quality definitely justifies it. And last but not least, Eataly is also perfect for a culinary excursion with friends or family. Conclusion: If you love Italy, you have to experience Eataly in Munich - an absolute recommendation!

Incredibly long waiting time on a Friday evening. Service dreadful, no apologies or any attention given despite waiting over 1hour for our food to be served. Never again. Eataly in London was far superior.

Hello everyone, it was nice the first time, we were outside on the terrace. But the second time it wasn't good at all - unfortunately my pizza wasn't baked through. The table and the glass were dirty and the waitresses are very rude and do not respond to the guest. Unfortunately I can only give it two stars. :( we won't go there anymore.

The guy at the counter with the desserts should smile more. He frowned a lot when he served me and was rude, but went all "golden retriever" mode with the next customer. I don't care if I'm petty that guy needs to learn some manners lol.

We stopped by the pasticceria here in the afternoon. We ordered two espresso macchiato and a tiramisu grande, crostata al gianduia, bignè alla crema and tortelleta al pistacchio. All four pasticcini are highly recommended. The price is a bit expensive but very tasty. Then we took a detour to the wine cellar. A large selection of wines in every price range can be found here. There is something for everyone. The Mercato is also super big, with fresh products, but here too you have to turn a blind eye to some of the prices before you buy something. The fresh produce counters in particular offer a large selection. Using the toilet costs money. Reason “cleaning fees”. Definitely worth a visit if you want to experience a touch of Italian. If you love pistachios you will definitely get your money's worth, the dessert and the café are a dream. The service was also friendly and funny. If we travel to Munich from Switzerland again we will definitely come back

The place is friendly, the service also we had pizzas and we ate better ones than that my partner had a truffle pizza there were also pieces of potato on it I had a 4 cheese one I ate better ones than that so it's up to you to give your opinion

In my case, every city I go to and there is an Eataly I go to, I love the variety of Italian products and the variety of food in their restaurants. We arrived at 11:30 am and had coffee and ate at La Pasticceria, the Arancia & Cioccolato coffee is great, the variety of sweets is good and the service is quality. Afterwards we went to the bar and had a prosecco. We loved it. Good option for breakfast.

I ordered a piece of pizza, unfortunately it was burnt and expensive. The cappuccino with pistachios was very tasty 😋

The review is for the Spritzeria, otherwise I am very satisfied with Eataly. On Tuesday you get 2 Aperol Spritz for €10. Service is very bad, and the Aperol Spritz even worse. Either the Prosecco is fake or the Aperol, but I have rarely had such a bad spritz.

The pizza was excellent. However I ordered a glass of rose wine at €6.95, but was charged £11.95. Staff was very standoffish and unfriendly, they all seemed rushed and unattentive. Overall not a very pleasant experience, I do not recommend.

Top Eataly restaurant near Munich's ViKtualienmarkt. Reservations are not possible on Saturday lunchtime, it is advisable to be there early. At 1 p.m. the place was completely full. The food tastes great.

I was there, ate, shopped. Good taste and quality with a large selection. The prices are in the higher middle level. The food department (Italian deli) is a dream. You can get everything your heart desires there. The staff in the food department is very friendly and helpful. When I'm in Munich, eataly is my first stop. In summer you can sit outside there very nicely. I can only recommend it.

This review is for the Illy bar at the back of Eataly - generally I love Eataly and go here often. Great food, super nice staff, exceptional products! Now to the Illy Bar, more precisely to the employee who stood behind the bar yesterday at lunchtime and served the customers. I ordered a specific spritzer that was on the menu. He asked several times because he didn't understand (that's not a problem!) and then made it clear to me that they didn't have it there, in a way that sounded like I was totally wrong and what I even wanted from him. Then I asked for an alternative or a different spritzer that was also on the menu and he was visibly annoyed. Instead of saying, "Sorry, we don't have it here either," he rudely asked me, "Signora, turn around and look at what we have in the fridge." When he then asked if I wanted to order something else and I said yes, he got angry (facial expression + gestures). I didn't pronounce focaccia correctly and was arrogantly corrected. Again: the way I corrected myself was the problem, otherwise I'm happy to learn! He was very charming and friendly towards Italians and Italian speakers. Apparently you have to know Italian to be treated like a normal guest.

The four of us spontaneously ate here yesterday before Bauma. Shortly before half past seven we reserved a table at Marienplatz - online. A class service 👍. Table was available 20 minutes later. So off we went. We needed barrier-free access. Despite the hectic pace and the full restaurant, our advance party was immediately shown the entrance to the Schrannenhalle. Although this delayed us and there was a huge rush at the entrance, we got our table straight away. Now the most important thing: great ambience, menu request with 4 courses and different portion sizes was expressed. Then Dolce. With the imagination and support of our waiter, received top recommendation. The quality was incredible. The service was very attentive and professional. A really great evening for us and a big thank you for that 🙏..

When we were eating at Eataly, the staff just walked past us and didn't even look at us. It wasn't busy that day; they just weren't in the mood. They don't seem to want to sell anything. When we finally managed to get someone to take our order and bring the food, the cutlery was missing. We got it ourselves instead of waiting for the food to get cold. When we were finally served, the service was still very unfriendly.

Food is okay for the price. What bothered me the most was that we tried a pistachio liqueur there on Saturday and took it with us. Price Eataly 30 euros, the same on Amazon 20 euros. That's already a number

We have known it for years and it is a place for tapas more than lunch or dinner. We went for dinner to try and have bad service, we ordered the drink several times, the pizza was very good and the dough was delicious. Plus you ask for the bill and they tell you it, they don't give you a bill, yes it's true that you can ask for it but since it was a pizza and a couple of beers we didn't even bother to ask for it, but it doesn't seem right to me. I'll go for the food but for an appetizer like we've always done.

Pizza and Bruschetta is good. Pasta is so so. Service is bad and wait times during weekends are long. Good for shopping for Italian grocery though.

The space is huge and there’s a plenty of good options to eat. The Aperol Spritz was amazing! Perfectly on point. I choose a tagliatelle al ragu totally delicious and well served. The cheese pot they left with you so you can use as much as you want in your pasta. I loved and I recommend.

We were at the Eataly Vino Festival, unfortunately in my opinion the experience was in no way commensurate with the price. Wine, music and "all you can eat" were on the program, the "all you can eat" with a manageable buffet of a few meters for an estimated 200 (?) guests was simply far too little for my taste. The result was a 10-meter-long queue, but something else was pleasant for the high-paying customer. In addition, you had to pay a 50 cent "cleaning fee" for each use of the toilet, which I find a disgrace (I'm not concerned about the amount, I'm not at the gas station). All in all, I am left with the bad aftertaste that this event was designed for maximum profit, I will certainly not go there again (and will avoid eataly thanks to this experience).

I tried the 5 cheese pizza. With its atmosphere and service, it can be one of your dining spots during your 3-day trip in Munich. It is also a place where you can try and buy Italian delicacies. I recommend.

Eataly is a convenient and clean place to eat in the city aside the popular Marianplatz. Tons of people line the streets and are keen to shop and see sights and this spot is a great way to have a nice sit down. I stopped for a pastry and coffee which was really yummy. There were savoury options in abundance with tons of Italian food to gage at a restaurant or buy a freshly made focaccia. Not to mention tons of delicatessen foods to buy and take with.

Many years ago we often went there both for shopping and to eat pizza. As the years went by it got worse and worse. More and more expensive supermarket. Pizzeria with embarrassing service and not good pizza (last time, the cooked ham was actually old).

There were three of us there and unfortunately we weren't super happy with the overall package for just under €100. When you pay €30 for truffle pasta, the expectation is high. Unfortunately, they were good, but not good enough to justify the price. Elsewhere you can get really good truffle pasta for €18-22. Too bad. Unfortunately, there was nothing for kids to paint or anything like you can now find in other restaurants of this size. Unfortunately, the pizza with truffle cream, like the rice balls with mushrooms and truffles, hardly tasted like truffles... However, the service was nice.

Lackluster service, a shame! Food was good. The mixed salad was served on a very small plate. Everything very fresh and crunchy. However, I don't understand why the carrots are almost 10-15 cm long. It looks decorative, but it makes it difficult to eat. Because of the small plate, it is not possible to put a dressing over it and mix it, unless the woman uses the table for this purpose... At my request I was given a large plate without any problem. Waiting for the cappuccino was annoying because it was lukewarm. Hence deductions. Maybe the waiter was having a bad day?

Yes, eataly is a little more expensive in many areas than other shops. It's not a bargain to shop here, but eataly is still worth a visit and it's worth coming back. E.g. There is a selection of good quality Italian chocolate (Venchi), there is great pistachio cream, a great selection of Italian ham and salami at the sausage counter and Italian cheese at the cheese counter. The whole thing is rounded off by gastronomic offerings that have a lot to offer from crepes with pistaccio, fine pastries, pizza and Italian cuisine. During the week there are always enough seats available in the various areas during the day, so this place is also ideal for meeting friends if you want to have a cup of coffee, espresso or something else together. Right near the Viktualienmarkt. So when I visit Munich I like to come here again and again...

Lots of choice, nice atmosphere all over Italy and lots of wines and delicacies. Also only suitable for shopping. Great location and lots of alternatives to eat, from pasta to pizza in the center. Recommended. Also the wines.

Staff totally stiff and unfriendly. You immediately felt uncomfortable. Too much money was collected at the checkout and when you pointed it out to the cashier, you were also stared at stupidly.

We have been to EATALY Munich several times and are thrilled every time. The quality of the food is consistently good, the selection is large, and the atmosphere is simply authentic. The service is fast and friendly, and what's particularly nice is that families with children are also very welcome here. The prices are high, but absolutely justified for the quality. If you love good Italian food, you should definitely visit EATALY - we will definitely be back! 🍝🍷

Love the store! Many Italian goods & ready to go dishes as well as a nice restaurant with authentic Italian kitchen) Fresh cheese & meat selection, bakery & antipasti. They have good, though overpriced veggies & fruits and Venci for Ice cream. Very clean toilets (I can’t leave it out - must know for a city walk…) A great wine tasting & daily drinking spot. If you’re looking for a present - they do Italian food cooking master classes every week :)

Great Italian flair in the middle of Minga. I often come here with my friends for an Aperol or to buy something to cook with my husband. The service is very Italian, good, personal and always with a lot of explanation about the dishes or what you ask. Really great.

I bought a small bottle of White wine at eately. The rude guy there in the cellar ,the only selling person,was quite insulting and unwilling even to talk to me. Only in English and very very lazy. No good recommendation for this store. He told me He is the Boss. What for? Being rude to

Delicious food/wine, though the portions were a bit on the small side. Fun location with a wall of windows that look out over the people walking by. There are several Italian eateries located one after another within this building, with a great wine venue in the back. The wait staff was busy, yet still served us with efficiency. Our waiter even joked with us about my tendency to put Parmesan cheese on several dishes that apparently aren’t supposed to have it.

Brazilians in Munich… Eataly also has a branch, just like in New York. Many Italian products and top quality. As the sign says, “Mangia meglio, vive meglio”… It’s worth a visit!!!

They stopped by for coffee. The restaurant is visually gigantic and divided into separate parts: there is a restaurant, a pizzeria, a supermarket and a coffee shop. Everything is very tasty and for moderate money. They took cappuccino with pistachios and desserts. They planned to spend 30 minutes there, but ended up getting stuck for 4 hours. But it was a pleasant time: we were not kicked out and rushed, as often happens in institutions.

Top of the top there is no doubt no other Italian restaurant outside our NATION ENVIED by everyone in this entire gastronomic world united in this splendid center it has no competitor in every sense ❤️🇮🇹

I followed Xiaohongshu to check in, but the result was very mediocre... The most important thing is that the food is not fresh. I bought some desserts and it feels like they have been in the cupboard for at least three days🤮🤮🤮 The clerk also looked like he was unpaid, so it wasn't worth the trip. Quite a disappointment in every respect: incredibly unfriendly waiter who was even too impatient to answer a question about the menu. Then, among other things, we ordered the fried potatoes, which were supposed to be a special snack with Italian salt. These came completely unsalted. The Margherita pizza with ham has a very hefty price at almost €18. Of course the hall itself is beautifully designed, but the service and the food served do justice to it in the smallest way.

I've been here twice, and this is the best place to eat great pasta! You can tell that it's fresh pasta since it's nicely chewy. And the tomato sauce and cheese are very good. Even on Fridays or Weekends when other restaurants are very full, you can find a table here. My favorite Italian restaurant in Germany.

Important note: Do not eat pizza here - absolutely disappointing! The pizza and pasta restaurant (in the entrance area, Viktualienmarkt side) offers extremely poor quality. The pizza was limp, partially burnt, and was carelessly prepared. The taste is terrible – probably the worst pizza in Munich! I tried pizza here three years ago and it was just as bad as it is today. Really disappointing and incomprehensible!

Very hectic atmosphere due to the close arrangement of the tables. Not cozy, intimate or something that makes you want to have a pleasant conversation and stay seated longer. We were lucky enough to have bad service (“these shitty people,” the waitress muttered when the neighboring table had to wait an hour for their pizza). An absolute disappointment for the extortionate prices. For a standard 26€ per portion of pasta, nothing special. No price performance. It doesn't taste bad but it doesn't blow you away either. You can tell that it is designed more for the masses and I would definitely not recommend going there on a busy day.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Super delicious pizza and great supplì, like in Rome taste good! Full and loud but similar to Italy. Not cheap but it's worth it!

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. At the beginning the service is very friendly and helpful, but once the food and drinks are ordered, suddenly no one is there or you have to wait a long time for them. I ordered pasta with mushrooms and received mushrooms with pasta, some of which were unfortunately already cold. The food for my girlfriend also arrived 10 minutes later. How do you like it when the food for two people doesn't come at the same time and is cold? We made a total of 4 attempts to pay and "I'll be right there" turned into 20 minutes. This is unacceptable - sorry, sorry.

We ate at Eataly Munich yesterday and what can I say – the pizza with buffalo mozzarella was the best I've eaten since my trip to Naples. The big difference to Naples is of course the price. 18.50 for a pizza + 7.80 for a large water. That's a lot. But I would definitely come back for a special occasion.

Unfortunately, the pasta didn't really impress me. The pasta tasted very bland and had no seasoning or flavor. For the price you just expect a lot more.

The food was tasteless and very expensive. The ingredients on the pizza were very little and not baked properly. The only good thing was the service.

We accidentally walked through the restaurant upside down. Tens of tables free, really, easily around 6-8. When we asked if we could sit down, someone told us hand and foot (no German, of course) that we should go to the other side where people were queuing. I'm definitely not queuing up to eat! But because the kids were hungry, I thought, just do it. 4-5 people in front of us, it should go quickly with the 8 free tables. Think. The waiter ran in, looked around haphazardly, ignored the free tables and told the guests in front of us that it would still take a while. Then I burst my collar and we left. This could happen in a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but not in a standard Italian restaurant in Munich

If you're just looking to go to their market, it's worth it. Many options and prices according to what they offer. If you are thinking about eating at their restaurant, go well in advance and be prepared to wait for the waiter to serve you. Don't expect friendly service. There are several helpers, but there is only one person we can make the request to and he thinks he is very important for that reason and works according to his wishes. Don't you dare call him directly, he'll look you in the face and tell you to be patient.
