I would like to share a disappointing experience that me and my girlfriends had in this restaurant last night. First of all we had to wait over 20 minutes to even be served. This may be due to a lack of staff, which we can understand given the current situation. When the food finally came, everything went well at first. When paying, however, we noticed an unusually high amount of €53.15 for a pizza, a portion of spaghetti with cream sauce and chicken and two glasses of cola. Although we initially thought this amount was excessive, I paid by card and even gave a tip. When we subsequently asked for the bill, we discovered that we had been charged for a Pinot Grigio that we never ordered. In addition, there was an extra charge of €4 for the chicken in the pasta, which has never happened to us before. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he initially couldn't give an explanation and then blamed the mistake on an alleged colleague who was no longer there. The remaining amount was refunded to us in cash. However, this situation didn't seem like an oversight to us, but rather like a deliberate attempt to rip us off. What was particularly noticeable was that the waiter spoke my native language and obviously assumed that we were tourists and didn't understand German. This leads us to believe that he deliberately wanted to take advantage of the situation to collect more money. I have never had such a negative experience at any of your restaurants, but this incident will force me to avoid this location in the future. It is understandable that it is difficult to find reliable staff at the moment, but employing unreliable employees at the expense of customer satisfaction cannot be the solution.

We really enjoy eating at L'Osteria, at various locations. We were here on Leopoldstrasse for the first time yesterday. The service is very friendly and attentive. When the weather is nice there is of course a little more going on, but the team did a really good job and was very attentive to reducing waiting times etc. to a minimum. The pizza was of the usual quality and very tasty. We were very disappointed with the tiramisu, way too sweet and the mascarpone (if there was any at all) didn't taste the way it should taste in the tiramisu. Since the tables are very close to each other and there is a lot of smoking, guests in the outdoor area must expect disturbances. But L'Osteria can't help the selfishness of smokers.

L’Osteria on Leopoldstrasse offers a great experience. The huge pizzas are incredibly tasty, the dough is perfectly crispy and the ingredients are fresh. The food was great as always, unfortunately the waiting times were longer in this restaurant even though there wasn't that much going on. The ambience was good but the noise could be reduced

Reservations were made for August 14th at 6 p.m. We were a small group of 3 people. When we were at the front we had to wait 10 minutes until one of the waiters let us in. The waiters noticed us because they kept walking past us. Then we finally sat down and had to wait 30 minutes before we were even served and asked what we would like to drink. That doesn't work at all. After another 20 minutes our drinks arrived but they were wrong. I had to wait behind the waiter so I could tell him the drinks were wrong. We weren't served. At some point the food arrived. The pizza was tasty but the pasta was inedible. When my companion asked the waiter if he could please bring her parmesan and chili oil, he replied: “Are you sure you don’t need anything else because I won’t be coming back?” From then on the evening was over for us. At the end a waiter came and brought us the bill. I told him that unfortunately there was no tip today because we weren't at all satisfied with the service and explained to him in detail what had happened. He then snapped and said that it wasn't his fault, it was very crowded. We spent the whole evening waiting. Stupid statement from the other waiter that he won't come again. I wanted to pack my pizza and asked him for a box. After I paid by card, the waiter left WITHOUT COMMENT and didn't bring us any more boxes because he was offended. I then had to speak to another waitress who brought me a box. The waiters were disrespectful, kept us waiting and then expected a tip? Absolutely not. The way my criticism was handled was anything but okay. Never again!

Don't even know where to start. We were simply left standing at the entrance for over 10 minutes and ignored. No one thought it necessary to stop by and say hello, and perhaps say that someone would be there shortly. Nothing, just nothing. Only when someone called out “Hello, customers” did someone say that a colleague would be coming soon. Then we were assigned a table with a reservation, which was directly in front of the open kitchen with aluminum chairs without cushions and other things. More like an employee break table. No decorations and nothing set. Table wasn't even clean. Order was taken as we walked past upon request. Then our food came. This went very quickly in 20 minutes. Lasagna for over €14. Approximately 10x10 cm small. Wow, expensive pasta plates. Then, Pizza Prosciutto for €14.50, but you had to look for the ham here. But the worst thing was the Salsiccia Piccante pizza. There was no salsiccia on this pizza for €16.75, but some kind of spicy salami/sausage and spicy oil. Salsiccia is actually a coarse Italian salami, air-ripened and, very importantly, seasoned with fennel. But here, well. It's probably cheaper. But still paid dearly for it. So an experience that we don't actually know from L'Osteria. But that was probably the last time. Too bad.

First of all, I have to say that we had reserved a table and still had to wait at least 10 minutes for a table to be assigned because no one felt responsible. I don't need the service to start until I could give -stars, I would do that. We only received the menu after 15 minutes. We had to wait an hour for our main course. The food was delicious but the service detracted a lot from the rating. The hygiene also leaves a lot to be desired, as the food that is left on the table is thrown on the floor by the waiters when they are cleaning. Luckily there are several branches of L'Osteria and I will definitely not be coming to this one again. I can't recommend it any further.

This branch of Losteria is probably the worst. The atmosphere is very stressed. When there is a shortage of staff (which is increasingly the case), the food is served to a lesser quality. Sometimes we wait forever for a drink. Even if the waiters are friendly and apologize politely, I think it's safe to visit another Losteria. Tip: the Losteria at Bauhausplatz is not much further away but it offers much more!

I know L'Osteria am Stachus and everything is good there! Been here for the first time (August 16, 2024, around 4/5 p.m.). If you really want to take your reviews seriously, then please think again about who you hire. A waiter outside treated us absolutely inappropriately. The restaurant was almost empty, but we were asked to sit one row at the front. When asked why and where we should sit, the answer was: "We only fill the first two rows wallah billa calm down and sit down". (If that's even spelled correctly!) Dealing with it doesn't work at all! We sat down for another 10 minutes. No one came to the table, not even for drinks. Other guests told us they've been waiting forever to pay because this waiter's friends are there and we should leave before we order. We did that without saying a word. We're never coming back.

The pizzas are, as always, very tasty. But as far as service is concerned, absolutely impossible. Yesterday we ordered two pizzas to take away and waited at the bar on site. Yesterday's team was well positioned in terms of personnel. The terrace was almost full, the inside was almost empty given the nice weather. Maybe 2 tables with a couple each occupied. I could count 4-5 people for the service + 2 behind the bar (including a completely new employee to train in) and probably another 3-4 employees in the kitchen. The staff was not organized at all. There were several tables inside that hadn't been cleared, mountains of used glasses were piled up behind the bar, toilets were in the same condition as at some train stations, etc. Customers waited a long time for their drinks, so that sometimes the food was already ready before the drinks were served. A group of 4 people were waiting with us for their takeaway food and ordered espresso. These were prepared and were cold again by the time they were served, as the cups had been at least 10 minutes. were on the bar counter. An employee said to a colleague "there's not much going on today, but it's very stressful." At that time (around 5 p.m.) the restaurant was not even 50% full of guests. The female service staff were overwhelmed but always friendly. But when a waiting guest collided with the only male waiter and left an empty glass on the floor, the oven was out. He shouted at the guest in the middle of the restaurant, in front of other waiting guests, "he should wait somewhere else and not stand in the way". You can ask a guest politely, but you can't shout at them. Absolute no-go. This customer also told the gentleman that he would complain to the restaurant management about his behavior. I used to eat at this Losteria regularly. Prominent footballers used to sit next to you. Nowadays it's like a fast food chain in the train station district. Not very inviting anymore. I'd rather visit another Losteria in Munich.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. While I have often enjoyed my visits, last night was quite disappointing. The noise level was excessive, and the service was lacking; our server was rude and seemed to forget that we were paying customers. Additionally, we received two orders that we did not place. Given this experience, I’m hesitant to return in the future. I hope you can address these issues for the benefit of your customers.

It's a shame, I'm a big fan of the chain and in Germany I almost exclusively eat my pizzas at L'Osteria. I will continue to do so, but definitely not in this branch anymore. Ordered takeaway food and according to the website it was ready for collection after 10 minutes. When I picked it up after 10 minutes, I was told that the preparation hadn't started yet and that I should come back in 20-25 minutes because there was a lot going on. The question as to whether delivery was possible instead of collection was answered in the negative. After another 25 minutes, three small children in their pajamas in the car (care shortage, my problem), my pizzas were still not in the oven. The request to cancel here and now was not complied with - the authorized employee was currently under stress. Not a word of apology, just eye rolling. The shift manager then gave me the word to take care of the cancellation. Even with that, despite the disastrous performance that evening, I was still okay with it. The fact that there have been no cancellations to date is the only reason I am writing this review.

After I often went out to eat there with my old mother, with friends or alone, the negative aspects have now accumulated quite a bit. The service is overwhelmed, sometimes unfriendly, inattentive and sometimes has an aggressive appearance and a bad mood, so that you don't feel welcome. You feel like a nuisance. And that's exactly how you're treated. Just a few examples to illustrate why I will no longer visit this restaurant: - Ordered a gluten and lactose free dish with zucchini noodles and shrimps to take away. I received this dish with a cream sauce! - Ordered a salad to take away. I was told it would take 30 minutes. I was there after 25 minutes. There were few guests there. Still, I was completely ignored. After another 20 minutes of waiting without being spoken to by any service staff, I left. In general the service is bad, bad-tempered and there are mistakes like this all the time. My understanding of the employees is limited because everyone is responsible for how they deal with stress. However, working conditions must be designed in such a way that the employee also has a chance to do so.

It took a relatively long time for the two pizzas to arrive and the Vegetariana was incredibly oily. I couldn't even taste the vegetables because of all the oil. However, I can't complain about the ambience or the service, hence two stars.

I ordered two different halves of pizza and they were very good. I also had a dessert, it was ok, but next time I don't think I would order the dessert again or maybe I would try something different. Instead, the pizza is worth all the money, the dough is crispy, thin, I think that any pizza you choose from the menu is very good. Georgiana, the girl who served us was lovely, helpful with the advice we received from her.
