We ate here twice in one week with 15 people. Both times we were served very friendly and nice. Even short-term reservations were no problem. The meal ranged from pizza and pasta to schnitzel and cordon bleu to rump steak and a fish platter. All the food came to the table quickly and together. Everything was very very tasty. Ice cream and tiramisu were served for dessert and even the latte macchiato was TOP. The price-performance ratio is absolutely TOP. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back. Highly recommended, even with children. From us there are 3 times TOP TOP TOP!!!!!!!

I will never order from this “restaurant” again!! The pizza wasn't even close to done and they didn't want to make us a new one!

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't really baked in the oven for too long. The service was friendly. The next day I had a stomach ache and couldn't really eat anything.

Very nice location, good food and very nice staff and nice events

For us the best pizzas in Freiburg, of which there is a nice selection. The starter with beetroot carpaccio, sheep's cheese, mozzarella, nuts and mustard vinaigrette was very tasty and a good start. Reservations are definitely an advantage! Always a pleasure to be a guest at La Cigogna!

Great restaurant with a unique atmosphere in an Italian supermarket. You are greeted at the supermarket checkout by a charming Signore. Our first reservation the evening before literally fell through due to water damage. The operators can't do anything about it. We then made another reservation for the next day. The food is not very ambitious but is authentically Italian, the staff are all young and nice, just a little uncoordinated. As the evening progressed the place became packed. You have to experience it to enjoy the food between the shelves full of olive oil, pasta grissini etc. We had to wait a relatively long time between the starter and the main course. But because of the great atmosphere, that didn't matter at all. Price-wise it was okay too. There is only one rating here: 5 stars!

Schon oft sind wir hier eingekehrt und waren jedes Mal angetan. Man hat immer den Eindruck, dass die reale italienische Küche widergespiegelt wird. Keine pseudoitalienische Edelküche (Schnickschnack) wie ganz in der Nähe sondern ganz normal und schmackhaft.
