Ein "gehobener Italiener" mit einer sehr gute Küche, allerdings auch zum entsprechenden Preis.

Freiburgs beste Tiramisu! Im Sommer mit Luftkühlung draußen speisen. Genial!

Erst einmal macht es einen guten Eindruck. Aber: das Mittagessen hat knapp 24€ gekostet und war Total geschmacksneutral. Nudeln mit grünem Spargel und Gambas. Wäre ich nicht mit meinem 5 j. Kind, hätte ich es zurück gegeben. Die Nudeln meines Sohnes klebten zusammen. Als ich nach Butter fragte, kam Olivenöl. Naja. Das Service Personal war total unterbesetzt und gestresst. Niemand hat mich beachtet als ich mich MEHRERE Male bemerkbar gemacht habe, dass ich zahlen möchte. Insgesamt: garkeine Empfehlung!

Personal unfreundlich und kein kleines Glas Wasser zum Espresso. Schade.

Die Canelle mit Kaninchenragout fallen leider durch. Die Pasta an sich war OK aber das Ragout verdient den Namen nicht. Wie es möglich ist mit so viel Fleisch so wenig Geschmack auf den Teller zu bringen ist mir ein Rätsel. Sauce ohne Geschmack, Farbe und Konsistenz nur Kochwasser? eingedickt mit Stärke/Mehl inklusive Klümpchen ... Das grenzt an Lebensmittelverschwendung. Punkte gibts für den Service. Das Restaurant war am Montagabend gut gefüllt. Ein Grund warum ich es fürs spontane Abendessen gewählt habe. Service war zügig und zuvorkommend. Ambiente OK und Espresso, der nach Kritik aufs Haus ging, war gut. Handgeschriebene Tageskarte verspricht eigentlich mehr. Ich hoffe das Kaninchenragout war nur ein Ausrutscher.

Qualitativ gutes Essen. Service gut und freundlich. Fleischanteil im Mittagstisch ungenügend. Hatten 2 Stückchen Fleisch in den Nudeln. Nach Beschwerde keine weitere Reaktion. „Der Koch macht das halt so“ auch andere Tische hatten sich beschwert. Keine Entschuldigung oder Espresso für die Laune. Werde erst mal nicht mehr hingehen. Nichts für gute Esser, Portionen sind auch sonst überschaubar.

Hatten Pasta mit Kaninchen. Es war ok aber mehr auch nicht. Der Service auch nur OK. Eher unfreundlich.

Schlechter Service und unfreundliches Personal. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, da ich bisher nur positive Erfahrungen mit den Mitarbeitern hier gemacht habe.

Kein Stern wert! Unglaublich schlechtes Essen. Wir waren heute das erste Mal in der Tizio Trattoria essen und sind leider sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten Ravioli in Salbeibutter und ein Vitello Tonnato. Die Ravioli waren essbar, aber lieblos angerichtet – optisch erinnerte das Ganze eher an Krankenhausessen. Für 19 € und die kleine Portion (ca. 8–9 Stück) absolut nicht angemessen. Das Vitello Tonnato 16,90€ war für mich ungenießbar: bitter im Geschmack, qualitativ sehr schlecht und komplett in Soße „ertränkt“, die eher an eine Suppe erinnerte. Der Thunfisch schmeckte billig, die gesamte Komposition hatte nichts mit dem zu tun, was man von diesem Gericht kennt. Auf meine Reklamation wurde nicht professionell reagiert – stattdessen wurde diskutiert und betont, es sei das „beste Gericht der Karte“. Wir wollten keine Diskussion, haben bezahlt und sind gegangen. Insgesamt wirkt das Restaurant unprofessionell, unsauber und sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Innenbereich ist sichtbar abgenutzt, die Hygiene fragwürdig. Auch der Service war unfreundlich, wir fühlten uns nicht gut behandelt. Beim Gehen wurde uns sogar noch hinterhergerufen. Ich selbst habe das ignoriert - da Ich aus der gehobenen Gastronomie und Patisserie komme, und auf sowas unprofessionelles verzichten kann und nicht auf unnötige Diskussionen eingehe. Für uns definitiv kein zweites Mal.

Wir saßen hier nur auf der Terrasse, aber die Lage ist hervorragend und die Terrasse wunderschön. Wir genossen ein leckeres Bier und eine Käse- und Wurstplatte. Wunderschöne Lage am Rande der Freiberger Innenstadt.

Alles super, sehr netter Service und grandioses Essen, echt eine tolle Adresse in Freiburg für authentisches italienisches Essen!

Das Personal war pampig bis ignorant, der Salat war lieblos, die sogenannte Minestrone war geschmacklos mit viel komplett verkochtem Gemüse . Das wird eine einmalige Erfahrung bleiben!

Wir waren spät zum Mittagessen dort und es war fantastisch! Die Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten, der Thunfischsalat und die Burrata-Vorspeise waren alle frisch, perfekt gewürzt und unglaublich lecker! Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder! 😍

Ich kann nichts zum Essen sagen, aber ich hatte Magenschmerzen und musste dringend auf die Toilette. Die Angestellten waren so freundlich, mein Leiden zu erkennen und mich trotz der Ladenrichtlinien hineinzulassen. Das war sehr lobenswert.

Wir waren zu zweit an einem Freitagabend ohne Voranmeldung zum Essen. Das Essen kam zügig und schmeckte hervorragend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, herzlicher Empfang und die Bedienung Angela ist immer zur Stelle. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir wurden leider sehr unfreundlich bedient. An Arroganz und Überheblichkeit nicht zu überbieten.

Nie wieder! Habe dort einen vermeintlich „frischen“ Trüffel gekauft und bekam einen muffig riechenden und verschimmelten Trüffel, der vor dem Verkauf noch herausgeschnitten wurde, sodass er aussah als wäre er gut! Der Mann vom Service ist war auch sehr gestresst und unfreundlich. Sorry, ich will nicht wissen, ob dieser Trüffel sonst auf irgendeinem Teller gelandet wäre. 39 Euro Trüffel für die Mülltonne. You arrive hungry and leave hungry. The portion of ravioli is definitely not worth the price and I wouldn't recommend it!

Lunch: Unfortunately, the meat was tough and undercooked. The food was cold. The tiny portions don't justify the high price. During lunchtime, the service is rather impersonal. I would recommend other restaurants for lunch. The ambiance is nice.

A really lovely restaurant, and we also experienced good service. The food was good but not exceptional, and the prices are too high for what it offers. However, it deserves its 4 stars.

Delicious food with a special Italian touch.

I can't comment on what it's like in the evening, but the atmosphere is cramped and uninviting. Before I'd even finished eating, all the group's plates had already been cleared away. A pile of salad with a few slices of tough, heavily salted pork tenderloin. And blunt dinner knives. I guess you have to like that sort of thing. I know Italian cuisine to be different. But the kitchen also seems tiny; I wonder how they can even cook fresh meals for such a large restaurant with so little space.

Making a reservation always gives you a better chance of getting a table. With luck, you might get in without one. The food and service are authentically Italian, and the restaurant's atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect in Italy. Recently, I had the Emden mixed antipasti platter and the pasta with wild boar goulash. Very, very delicious, and the meat was absolutely fantastic. The prices are a bit higher, but that's justified by the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back.

I ate the best seafood spaghetti. And I come from Calabria and have been going there on holiday for over 30 years. I've never eaten such delicious spaghetti ai frutti di mare anywhere else.

Not recommended! Not real Italian food. I really expected more from this restaurant. The pasta with ragù di cinghiale wasn't ragù at all, but more like goulash – it looked like hospital food. The pappardelle with salmon and clams was simply a pile of ingredients, carelessly thrown together and tasteless. The steak, which we ordered well-done, arrived completely raw. Far too expensive for such poor quality food. If you're Italian, avoid this place!

A cozy trattoria with excellent pasta. Exceptional. Very friendly and attentive service. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Freiburg.

The food was absolutely delicious! I tried the sweet options, and they were truly excellent.

The food was okay, but didn't do justice to the high price. It was particularly disturbing that the tables in the immediate vicinity were already being cleared by 8:30 p.m. on a Friday evening. This behavior clearly gives the impression that guests are no longer welcome – at a time when a restaurant should still be lively. Overall, a not a pleasant experience. We won't be back.

Extremely unfriendly staff, never again

I ordered a salad with fish fillets. The kitchen is open and visible – transparency, I thought. Unfortunately, I had to watch as the “cook” reached into the salad bowl with her bare hands and threw a good portion directly onto my plate. Some ingredients were at least served with cutlery, while others were simply thrown into the dish with your fingers - quite naturally, as if it were completely normal. When I refused the plate, the waiter explained to me with a serious expression: “That’s how they do it in Italy.” Aha. So hygiene rules no longer apply in Italy? Conclusion: – If there is a lack of respect for the guest and hygiene standards, even the best fish is of no use. – If you prefer to enjoy your meal without a DNA sample from the cook, you should avoid this restaurant.

Fine food, friendly service, good atmosphere.

Only two plates of ravioli for €17.80 and water, served in 2 minutes, but 5 ravioli fighting on the plate….. in short we had to pay €44. Not very good at calculating, but I understand that there is a problem, maybe the water cost €13

We "just" wanted to drink a Prosecco here and were greeted with the words "just drink, don't eat anything? Too much work" We then drank our Prosecco somewhere else. Apparently there is no need to serve guests who “just” want to drink something.

The tiramisu was delicious, the white wine (an Arneis from Piedmont) was also good and had the right temperature. But unfortunately that was it! I can't rate the food itself positively. I had “Ravioli al burro e salvia”, very carelessly decorated and the ravioli almost “drowned” in the buttery sauce. My wife had canelle al ragù with lamb. Not great either (better than my ravioli, I was allowed to try it), the meat was still full of tendons. So honestly, not a recommendation for me – despite many positive reviews. We often go out for Italian food, but it's usually a lot better. Sorry, Tizio!! Maybe you just had a “bad” day.

Starters reasonable. Expensive truffle spaghetti...... hopelessly bad!

Everything was great except for when the waiter insists you give him a tip. For example, for a 45 euro meal I gave him a 50 to make change and he said somthing such as “Is the rest for me?”

Very authentic Italian experience!

By the bar keeper/server my friend and I were very rudely denied to use the restroom. Then, when we were about to leave, he tried to manipulate us to use the restroom/he tried to act nice and kind. I'm very disappointed in that, I felt very bad and later had a huge anxiety attack. I do not recommend you going there.

Discovered by chance as you walk past, you are greeted by a seductive scent of the best ingredients. The homemade ravavioli with fine, creamy porcini mushroom filling on butter sauce were the best I have eaten in my life! Fantastic appetizer dish. Absolute recommendation!

Recommended by a friend, the food was a disaster, the worst Italian in 40 years in Germany. Starter, capascho, with truffle, ok, a lot of truffle, but meat not seasoned, parmesan mushy, not freshly grated, didn't work at all, waitress said, but we make it fresh and that's not possible. Then lamb as the main course, 3 lamb fillets, Nicely fried pink, sauce very good, but cold plate, (warm would have been nice) 3rd fillet cold, vegetables, mushy, totally overcooked, (it would have been better to make carrots one on top of the other from the carrots) Potatoes ok, but 1/2 plate full, 2 would have been enough. Personally, I can't recommend him any more. Ok alone, but everyone was very unfriendly.

When I'm in Freiburg, a visit to Tizio has been a staple for years. You can enjoy really fine Italian cuisine here in a very dignified atmosphere. The menu is clearly presented, changes often and offers something for every taste. It is advisable to reserve, especially on weekends, if you want to be sure of a place.

Once and not again In the DB approach path to the city. Rip off. Food below average. Service tried to be friendly. That was it. Enjoy yourself.

Waitors were unpolite, food was mediocre compared to the price and we needed to wait for paying for a long time without anyone asking if we wanted to pay or order something.

Recommended. Food and wine were good. There are slightly more interesting dishes like most Italians. E.g. Roman tripe. Ambience is also nice. I fluctuated between 4 and 5 stars. But it's more like 5 than 4.

Classic trattoria, the ambience was quite ok. The service was friendly. But this restaurant has completely missed the point of eating out. Preparing the dishes can be compared to having no time to cook at home and unfortunately pulling high-quality ingredients out of the water and leaving an impossibly bland roux to drown in them. A shame for any food. Unfortunately not recommended at all.

We went for the lunch menu. The food was good, but the main course was a bit too small. However, reasonable considering the price.

Unfortunately 1 star is already too much for this restaurant. We were there at lunchtime. The restaurant was almost empty (2 tables were still occupied, people were drinking there). There was no question if we wanted to eat, unfriendly service. Unfortunately we weren't offered a menu either. We just had a drink. We had to pay while our glasses were still half full. Definitely not a recommendation.

There were six of us for a business lunch. Everyone was thrilled! Service was top and accommodating! I had to postpone the reservation for an hour on the same day, which was politely answered. I had the Bistecca Di Manzo - Outstanding!

I had heard a lot of good things about Trattoria Tizio from various reviews, which is why I decided to choose this restaurant for a truffle lover's birthday. Unfortunately, expectations were quite disappointed. When we made the reservation, the question as to whether there was a sufficient selection of vegetarian dishes that included truffles was answered unfriendly. When we entered the restaurant there was little going on, and this didn't change throughout the evening. The service was pretty "on the ball" right from the start, even though there were only three tables occupied with guests. As a starter we had a salad with cheese, which was delicious and worth recommending. Unfortunately, this was the only course that convinced us. The truffle pasta with grated truffle (not shaved(!), although various truffle slicers are advertised on the website) was disappointing, to put it kindly. The truffles tasted like yeast and not truffles, which made me question the freshness of the mushroom. Due to the wide information about truffles and the advertising for in-house truffle seminars, this particularly surprised me, as this restaurant would theoretically be ideal for good truffle dishes. The sauce for my ravioli consisted more of water than flavor. Rather incomprehensible for the price suggested here. Finally, we ordered a tiramisu, which was noticeably lacking in coffee in the sponge and was drowned out by the large amount of mascarpone. The bedside table was served at the same time as the card reader, which made everything seem very hectic and unprofessional. Unfortunately no recommendation from me.

Sat at a long table according to reservation with about 15 people, pleasant atmosphere, friendly, attentive service, highlight: a Langhe Arneis on the wine list - one of my absolute favorite wines, you don't find it that often!

This restaurant is consistently amazing. The fresh pasta is delicious and you can't miss out on the surprisingly reasonably priced seasonal truffle specials. A must visit location every time I'm in town.

If you ask nicely and politely if you can use the toilet, you will be turned away because you are not a guest! Sad but true!!

Very friendly welcome, beautifully set tables and nice service. The homemade pasta was good, but I would have liked a more sophisticated composition for a pasta plate that cost over €30. The truffle was subtle, not intensely flavored and unfortunately grated - it would have been much more appealing if it were shaved. The Primitivo is A1 and also the dessert, the tiramisù, is really tasty and plentiful.

Super leckere hausgemachte Pasta. Spezialität mit Trüffel auch auf Sonderwünsche (Kinderportion für meinen Sohn)wurde eingegangen.

Nachmittags angerufen um kurzfristig für den selben Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das klappte problemlos. Der Empfang war freundlich - das Essen hervorragend. Ich mag das Ambiente - man sitzt zwischen vielen Weinflaschen.

Sorry aber das war gar nicht gut. Ich glaube das war das schlechteste restaurant in dem wir je gegessen haben. Mit italienischem essen hat das nichts zu tun.
