I had dinner there in May 2024 on my bike tour to the North Sea. Tip came from the room landlord. The food was simply delicious and the staff is friendly and on the ball. Cozy restaurant. Very nice outdoor area. Unfortunately, it was already fully booked when I visited. If it weren't so far from where I live, Bacco-Esposito would have one more regular guest.

Completely wrong. We waited more than an hour for the main course. She then apologized (“just a few more minutes”). After another 30 minutes we left hungry. The gentleman at the next table had to eat his meat without the potato gratin he ordered, the lady at the next table had the wrong vegetables...

Really a nice place. You feel really comfortable here. Food, service and friendliness are A1. Always my pleasure. The prices are also still reasonable and are more than justified.

We really enjoy going here. It's best to reserve a table, especially if you arrive after 7 p.m. The pizzas are great and just the right size. The lasagne is also very tasty. The waiters are always in a good mood and very friendly.

Restaurant review: Buon Gusto The Buon Gusto restaurant promises Italian cuisine in a charming, rustic atmosphere. The first impression is convincing with harmonious lighting and warm furnishings. But can the kitchen keep this promise? I chose a dish that is often a balancing act to prepare: liver. The menu is well curated and includes classics such as pasta and pizza as well as specialties that delve deeper into Italian tradition. The liver is a bold dish that isn't offered everywhere, which gave me confidence. I wanted to know if the kitchen at Buon Gusto would prepare this dish with the necessary delicacy. After a pleasantly short wait, the liver was served. It came on a bed of caramelized onions, accompanied by mashed potatoes and a light red wine sauce. Visually, the dish was very appealing – a successful balance of rustic and elegant. But taste and texture are crucial when it comes to liver, and this is where the wheat is separated from the chaff. The first bite showed that the liver was perfectly fried - slightly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The kitchen showed great sensitivity as the liver was cooked to just the right degree without losing the slightly metallic flavor that characterizes it. The caramelized onions added a sweet note that perfectly complemented the bold flavor of the liver, and the mashed potatoes were airy and delicately flavored. The red wine sauce was the icing on the cake, but I would have perhaps liked a little more acidity or a touch of balsamic to give the dish additional freshness. Still, the flavors worked well together and the presentation showed that care was taken here. In summary: The Buon Gusto surprised me positively. The cuisine is solid, the atmosphere is pleasant, and anyone who wants Italian cuisine with that certain something will find it here. The liver is a dish that requires sensitivity and the team mastered it with flying colors. A clear recommendation for friends of Italian cuisine who value authenticity and quality.

I've been here several times, last time the pizzas 🍕 weren't as tasty as always, the pizzas were too crispy, then I asked for cherry tomatoes on my pizza and I paid €3 extra for them. There were only 4 of us and we had ordered 4 pizzas, after half an hour we only got 3 pizzas because the waitress completely forgot one pizza. I also had the cannoli as a dessert and they were too old, a shame, the quality went down.

Very customer-unfriendly! We were there 10 minutes before opening time. The restaurant was already open but we were turned away. Just had to wait outside for a while. Shortly after, a group of 12 people came in, but they were not turned away. Of course that would cost too much money. Such disgrace!! We will never visit this customer-unfriendly restaurant!!

Tried the tuffle noodles, unfortunately they were way too salty and not recommended at all. The bruschetta tasted delicious, but was very oily. Afterwards I needed a new napkin. However, the food came relatively quickly. On the first attempt the waiter forgot to bring us the bill, we had to ask again.
