The pizza was amazing, full of flavor and perfectly baked! This place is a great escape from the bad weather in Frankfurt, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommended!

English Translation: I ordered 3 pizzas through Wolt. The pizzas arrived cold and dry. The staff was very rude, showed no apology and repeatedly repeated that it was not their fault that Wolt delivered the pizzas cold. They took no responsibility for the quality of the pizzas and said I would have to deal with Wolt myself. According to her, they prepared the pizzas correctly and what I received was not their problem. Typically a company takes responsibility for their product, ensures the quality is as expected, and if the problem is with the restaurant's chosen delivery service, it should be their job to sort this out. Either a refund should be made or the product should be re-prepared and delivered properly. Replying “It’s not our problem” and placing the blame solely on Wolt while the customer has to deal with the complaint themselves is unacceptable. Such complaints should be passed on to the delivery service by the restaurant itself and the customer should not be burdened with additional hassle. I will no longer order here as the restaurant neither takes responsibility nor respects customer opinions.

We love it! The atmosphere is modern, cozy and informal. The cost-benefit ratio is excellent, it’s really worth it. We ordered lasagna and spaghetti carbonara and we really enjoyed them. The restaurant is in a central area, ideal for those staying nearby or on the go. Clickbus and Banhof super close. Very friendly service. We recommend!

Today I was really disappointed. Ordered 2 Pinsas, which we have received so far in top quality. Today a rag arrived that had hardly any coating on it :( It's a real shame because it used to be the best Pinsa in Sachsenhausen.

The Pinsa was amazing!! You can taste the passion: handmade, not oily, not full of* flour, but full of taste. Just right!! We will definitely return. Thank you for the meal!

Nice atmosphere! We had pinsa arugula and a veal schnitzel. The pinsa was world class...super fluffy, very aromatic and generously topped. The veal schnitzel was OK. Unfortunately understaffed with only one server and the toilets belong to the hospital next door (cramped and dirty).

We went there for Pinsa dinner on November 21st based on a recommendation. Two out of three meals were cold. When we asked the waitress we were told that that was fine, it wasn't pizza. I could imagine that the Pinsa would have tasted better when warm. One pinsa had to be returned complete, not edible.

Excellent food, nice Stimmung, good location (we visited after going to a museum nearby). It is inside a hospital, so don't be surprised by the patients coming for a quick lunch with visitors. The staff is very friendly and helpful (we were with small kids and they were accommodating us all the time).

I've been here several times, last time the pizzas 🍕 weren't as tasty as always, the pizzas were too crispy, then I asked for cherry tomatoes on my pizza and I paid €3 extra for them. There were only 4 of us and we had ordered 4 pizzas, after half an hour we only got 3 pizzas because the waitress completely forgot one pizza. I also had the cannoli as a dessert and they were too old, a shame, the quality went down.

My dish was delicious. We could feel the quality of the products and the seasoning was perfect. I have never had such good gnocchi. The waitress was lovely and very professional. The somewhat intimate setting brings a real plus to the place! I highly recommend it, especially since most of the prices are reasonable and the quality ratio is undeniable.

Found this lovely restaurant my chance. Located in a clam area by the river just a 15 min walk away from the centre. Authentic Italian food with amazing service. Had the best pumpkin soup there!

Absolutely lovely Pinsa. service was fast and friendly. Prices little on higher side but the Portion was big. We had some left over. The restaurant provided us a box to carry it in. A few vegetarian options are available. But requesting to skip meat should not be a problem as well. Table reservations are possible. Also ideal for big groups. Neo taste coupon worked wonderfully.

I visited the restaurant with my wife last Friday. Since the bratwurst (salsiccia) was out and the schnitzel advertised on the display is only served at lunchtime, I chose spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately, it was just a solid mountain of noodles.

Everything's fine. Nice place despite being close to the hospital.

Almost perfect, but the portions might be a little too small for very hungry guests. This leaves enough space for the fantastic cakes afterwards. Looking forward to next time!

I hope his manager sees and takes action because this was not a waiter but a plate holder, I will definitely not come back again and I will not recommend anyone to go there as long as the service is this

I don't know who leaves these reviews. The food wasn't good. Spaghetti Carbonara tasted sour and was overcooked and bland. Service was OK. The atmosphere in the hospital courtyard takes some getting used to.

On the way to the Eiserner Steg we spontaneously stopped at an Italian restaurant here. Everything we ordered was very good. We will definitely come back. The waiter is on the ball and responds to your wishes.

Driven by those nice pictures the restaurant posts we reserved a table. All went fine so far. The restaurant however is located under and within an ambulance. We sat outside at the street. It was quite busy at 7pm so it is hard to focus on your company. The food was ordered. Prices are a little high. Guess that’s Frankfurt. The food arrived. Looked okay. My pinsa was a little oily. Taste: both Pinsas taste the same even though we had one with salami and one with salad. The salad was not washed and clean! The salami was without taste. In general I would say the flavour was not existing. The dough was very thin. If I think of a pinsa, I do picture a thick dough. That was not the case at all. Tomato sauce was without flavour and the dough, too. The only part I could eat with joy was the crust. Summarising I feel that I do definitely better pizzas with my Ooni oven at home. Definitely I will not come again.

This was a pleasant surprise finding! I was at the clinic and just stopped at the closest restaurant to eat. The food (I ordered a pinsa marguerita) was delicious and so crunchy! I’ve been there another time and can only recommend it!

We came here spontaneously on Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It wasn't busy and we ordered 2 pinsas (prosciutto and burrata) and drinks. The drinks and food were at the table quickly and tasted good. Only the service was a bit musty - that could be nicer, otherwise it was good. You can absolutely do it.

The Pinsa is very tasty, the pasta was okay. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. If you’re not familiar with the location, you should be aware that it is inside the local hospital, which changes the atmosphere a bit. If you go here, i’d definitely recommend the Pinsas.

Was here for coffee and cake and was appalled at the value for money. Without thinking anything of it, I ordered 1 cream puff and a tiramisu and paid €7 each, so a total of €14. I find it cheeky. In really great pastry shops I pay that for a piece of cake.

Unexpected treasure as a "hospital canteen". Pasta and pinsa are great. Staff is always very friendly, although sometimes a bit slow (a bit thin on staff at peak times). Overall, an absolute recommendation.

Nice restaurant next to the Sachsenhausen Hospital on Schulstrasse near the banks of the Main. There are two pretty terraces. The terrace at the back exit is particularly beautifully located. I really liked the large open kitchen. The service is very friendly. There are many different pinsas and pasta dishes. I had a Pinsa Calabrese and was very impressed. The original Italian dessert in the display case also looked very good. I can highly recommend the restaurant

Best Pinsa ever and the Dolce!!!!

This nice little restaurant is located right next to the hospital. We could sit on the terrace, our pinsa was brought quite quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. The restaurant also looked very cozy. If I'm in Frankfurt again, I'll definitely stop there again.

Very tasty food and good service. What might bother some people is the direct connection to the neighboring hospital. My recommendation is to simply sit outside or with your back to the sliding door, if it doesn't actually bother you (it doesn't bother me).

I had dinner there with my husband today. I knew Ciro from Bergerstrasse and my expectations were already high. Well we decided on salad and two pasta dishes. The salad (rocket) was ok, but not that sparkling. The pasta dishes weren't particularly special for my taste. We had to season a lot with salt and pepper. The pasta was not al dente (cooked for a very long time for me). Unfortunately we didn't really enjoy the food.

Ate pinsa and arancini. It was okay, but not outstanding. Unfortunately the waiter was alone and rarely came to the terrace. The terrace facing the street itself is carelessly designed and with its gratings under the chairs it seems unsafe. Okay for a hospital visit, but I wouldn't go there specifically!

From the moment we entered Ciro, it was clear to us that this restaurant is not just a place to eat - it is a tribute to the art of Pinsa. The atmosphere welcomes you with a warm embrace, emanating from the shimmering golden lights and the loving furnishings, which cleverly combine modernity with traditional Italian accents. Every pinsa that comes out of the open kitchen is a masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of what I previously knew as pizza. The dough, light and airy, crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, forms the perfect canvas for the creative and fresh toppings, which come together in a harmonious symphony. Particularly noteworthy is the “Pinsa Marlene”, a poem made from fresh buffala, tomatoes and bresaoloa, whose taste is enhanced by the subtle aroma of the special dough.

Great service and very delicious Italian pinsa. It is a healthier alternative of pizza which definitely worth it. The only downside was the pastas we tried. Unfortunately they did not taste after the meal we ordered, the sauce was very flavorless and left us very unsatisfied.

Ciro il Lattaio Pinseria is a gem that shines through the exceptional friendliness of its staff. The price-performance ratio is more than fair, and although the furnishings are simple, they are well maintained and welcoming. The food tastes great across the board and is definitely worth a visit. We went there often during my mother's KKH stay and were able to try different dishes. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. Coffee and cake (or cannoli 😀) were very tasty. The best pinsa we have ever eaten!!! The dough, crispy and light. The topping is very balanced and fresh quality. Simply outstanding!!! Vitello Tonnato, thin veal with authentic tuna sauce, terrific. The lasagne, hot and crispy. Simply delicious. We can recommend this restaurant 100%.

Il Ciro in Sachsenhausen, located on a side street on the Main next to the Sachsenhausen Hospital, is a real asset to the area. The restaurant not only offers delicious coffee, but also fresh cakes and sandwiches every morning. My experience with gluten free pasta and the Ciro Insalata was excellent. The ambience is pleasantly decorated with plants and art pictures and when the weather is nice you can also sit outside on the terrace. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Reservations via the website are straightforward and clear.

Ciro il lattaio is right next to the hospital in Sachsenhausen and can be reached quickly and easily. We were actually there on a hospital visit. Afterwards we went to the adjacent restaurant. I can warmly recommend Pinsa! Especially as a cheesecake lover, I was very well served here with different types. The food generally tastes good and the prices are ok too. But I will definitely come back, especially because of the different types of cheesecake.
