Driven by those nice pictures the restaurant posts we reserved a table. All went fine so far. The restaurant however is located under and within an ambulance. We sat outside at the street. It was quite busy at 7pm so it is hard to focus on your company. The food was ordered. Prices are a little high. Guess that’s Frankfurt. The food arrived. Looked okay. My pinsa was a little oily. Taste: both Pinsas taste the same even though we had one with salami and one with salad. The salad was not washed and clean! The salami was without taste. In general I would say the flavour was not existing. The dough was very thin. If I think of a pinsa, I do picture a thick dough. That was not the case at all. Tomato sauce was without flavour and the dough, too. The only part I could eat with joy was the crust. Summarising I feel that I do definitely better pizzas with my Ooni oven at home. Definitely I will not come again.

This was a pleasant surprise finding! I was at the clinic and just stopped at the closest restaurant to eat. The food (I ordered a pinsa marguerita) was delicious and so crunchy! I’ve been there another time and can only recommend it!

We came here spontaneously on Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It wasn't busy and we ordered 2 pinsas (prosciutto and burrata) and drinks. The drinks and food were at the table quickly and tasted good. Only the service was a bit musty - that could be nicer, otherwise it was good. You can absolutely do it.

The Pinsa is very tasty, the pasta was okay. Staff was super welcoming and friendly. If you’re not familiar with the location, you should be aware that it is inside the local hospital, which changes the atmosphere a bit. If you go here, i’d definitely recommend the Pinsas.

Was here for coffee and cake and was appalled at the value for money. Without thinking anything of it, I ordered 1 cream puff and a tiramisu and paid €7 each, so a total of €14. I find it cheeky. In really great pastry shops I pay that for a piece of cake.

Very rude waiter, 7 bucks for water and we could not even give back unopened bottles of water that the waiter brought us by mistake. Still had to pay for them. Food mediocre and not worth mentioning.

Unexpected treasure as a "hospital canteen". Pasta and pinsa are great. Staff is always very friendly, although sometimes a bit slow (a bit thin on staff at peak times). Overall, an absolute recommendation.

Nice restaurant next to the Sachsenhausen Hospital on Schulstrasse near the banks of the Main. There are two pretty terraces. The terrace at the back exit is particularly beautifully located. I really liked the large open kitchen. The service is very friendly. There are many different pinsas and pasta dishes. I had a Pinsa Calabrese and was very impressed. The original Italian dessert in the display case also looked very good. I can highly recommend the restaurant

Best Pinsa ever and the Dolce!!!!

This nice little restaurant is located right next to the hospital. We could sit on the terrace, our pinsa was brought quite quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. The restaurant also looked very cozy. If I'm in Frankfurt again, I'll definitely stop there again.

We got Pinsa Marlene and Romana. Both were quite good. The atmosphere looked also nice. Will go back again.

There are very unusual Pinsa varieties but also normal standard varieties. The staff were super friendly, Italian, authentic. The pinsa were both very tasty, generously topped and large. Absolute recommendation

Very tasty food and good service. What might bother some people is the direct connection to the neighboring hospital. My recommendation is to simply sit outside or with your back to the sliding door, if it doesn't actually bother you (it doesn't bother me).

The server was very kind. And the choices of beverage were enough for me to decide. The location is super nice especially after walking along the river, Main. Unfortunately, the food was too bland and I couldn’t really taste any flavour except balsamico sauce.

Ich hatte Spagetthi Carbonara bestellt. Die schlechtesten, die ich je gegessen habe. Die Nudeln waren matschig, säuerlich und hatten ansonsten kaum Geschmack. Am Ende war mir übel. Die Bewertung von 4,5 Punkten kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

I had dinner there with my husband today. I knew Ciro from Bergerstrasse and my expectations were already high. Well we decided on salad and two pasta dishes. The salad (rocket) was ok, but not that sparkling. The pasta dishes weren't particularly special for my taste. We had to season a lot with salt and pepper. The pasta was not al dente (cooked for a very long time for me). Unfortunately we didn't really enjoy the food.

Ate pinsa and arancini. It was okay, but not outstanding. Unfortunately the waiter was alone and rarely came to the terrace. The terrace facing the street itself is carelessly designed and with its gratings under the chairs it seems unsafe. Okay for a hospital visit, but I wouldn't go there specifically!

From the moment we entered Ciro, it was clear to us that this restaurant is not just a place to eat - it is a tribute to the art of Pinsa. The atmosphere welcomes you with a warm embrace, emanating from the shimmering golden lights and the loving furnishings, which cleverly combine modernity with traditional Italian accents. Every pinsa that comes out of the open kitchen is a masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of what I previously knew as pizza. The dough, light and airy, crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, forms the perfect canvas for the creative and fresh toppings, which come together in a harmonious symphony. Particularly noteworthy is the “Pinsa Marlene”, a poem made from fresh buffala, tomatoes and bresaoloa, whose taste is enhanced by the subtle aroma of the special dough.

Great service and very delicious Italian pinsa. It is a healthier alternative of pizza which definitely worth it. The only downside was the pastas we tried. Unfortunately they did not taste after the meal we ordered, the sauce was very flavorless and left us very unsatisfied.

Ciro il Lattaio Pinseria is a gem that shines through the exceptional friendliness of its staff. The price-performance ratio is more than fair, and although the furnishings are simple, they are well maintained and welcoming. The food tastes great across the board and is definitely worth a visit. We'd love to come back!

We went there often during my mother's KKH stay and were able to try different dishes. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. Coffee and cake (or cannoli 😀) were very tasty. The best pinsa we have ever eaten!!! The dough, crispy and light. The topping is very balanced and fresh quality. Simply outstanding!!! Vitello Tonnato, thin veal with authentic tuna sauce, terrific. The lasagne, hot and crispy. Simply delicious. We can recommend this restaurant 100%.

The “Ciro” restaurant in Sachsenhausen offers the most delicious pinsa in the city, which are of the highest quality and, above all, very freshly prepared. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The menu offers a successful mix of modern and classic dishes that offer something for every taste. Overall, I can only warmly recommend the restaurant in Sachsenhausen. It is definitely a place to visit if you are looking for a dining experience. You should definitely try the delicious coffee! :)

Il Ciro in Sachsenhausen, located on a side street on the Main next to the Sachsenhausen Hospital, is a real asset to the area. The restaurant not only offers delicious coffee, but also fresh cakes and sandwiches every morning. My experience with gluten free pasta and the Ciro Insalata was excellent. The ambience is pleasantly decorated with plants and art pictures and when the weather is nice you can also sit outside on the terrace. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Reservations via the website are straightforward and clear.

Ciro il lattaio is right next to the hospital in Sachsenhausen and can be reached quickly and easily. We were actually there on a hospital visit. Afterwards we went to the adjacent restaurant. I can warmly recommend Pinsa! Especially as a cheesecake lover, I was very well served here with different types. The food generally tastes good and the prices are ok too. But I will definitely come back, especially because of the different types of cheesecake.

Trotz anfänglicher Kommunikationsprobleme unter den Kellnerinnen, die zu längeren Wartezeiten führten, war das Essen erstklassig. Ein ungewöhnlicher Punkt war, dass die Toiletten im benachbarten Krankenhaus sind. Dies schien zwar direkt mit dem Restaurant verbunden zu sein, ist jedoch etwas unkonventionell.

Das Highlight des Restaurants ist zweifellos die Pinsa, eine traditionelle italienische Spezialität, die hier köstlich zubereitet wird. Die Pinsa ist leicht, luftig und hat eine knusprige Kruste, die perfekt mit einer Vielzahl von Belägen harmoniert. Die Auswahl an Belägen im Ciro ist beeindruckend und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Neben der Pinsa bietet das Restaurant auch eine breite Palette anderer italienischer Gerichte, von klassischer Pasta und Pizza. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die Zubereitung sind hervorragend, und das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Freue mich die 500. Rezension hierfür abgeliefert zu haben.

Für eine Gästekantine im Krankenhaus war ich extrem überrascht, was es alles gibt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, auch ohne einen Verwandten im Krankenhaus zu besuchen.

Super leckere Pizzen, sehr nette Bedienung und nettes Ambiente etwas abseits vom Schweizer Platz. Auch nicht allzu teuer!

Pinsa ist nur für "den Italiener" gut: man bekommt weniger und zahlt mehr als für eine Pizza, zudem sie schneller gebacken ist und somit weniger Energiekosten verursacht. Unser bestelltes Essen kam im zweiten Anlauf. Im ersten wurde etwas vergessen und was falsches gebracht. Beim Salat sollte Olivenöl drin sein, war es aber nicht. Geschmacklich unterdurchschnittlich, preislich überdurchschnittlich. Für einen in einem Krankenhaus integrierten Laden irgendwie unpassend. Alles in allem unser erster und letzter Besuch.

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin haben wir das Restaurant am Wochenende besucht. Trotz Fest, später Stunde und fehlender Reservierung wurden wir freundlich empfangen und die Tische für uns hergerichtet. Essen und Trinken hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Es ist dort super lecker und mir gefällt das Ambiente sehr. Ich finde es für eine Pinzeria direkt am Krankenhaus sehr teuer und es kommt immer darauf an wer zum Bedienen da. Manche sind total nett umd lustig. Andere wieder super gestresst oder sind neu und werden von Kollegen oder Chefs vor der Kundschaft angefahren sie seien zu langsam und dann werden die Augen verdreht. Daher zwei Stern weniger.

Mein Lieblings Ciro in Frankfurt! Das Essen ist der Wahnsinn! Ich liebe die Carbonara und die Pinsa ist mega. Mitarbeiter sind immer zuvorkommend, schnell, nett und professionell. Liebe Grüße bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und haben eine Pinsa mit Trüffel und eine mit Garnelen gegessen. Beide waren sehr lecker! Der Teig war sehr gut, fluffig und Knusprig. Man kann sowohl draußen und drinnen sitzen. Das Ambiente ist schön und der Zugang zum Krankenhaus stört ehrlich gesagt überhaupt nicht.

Valentinsmenue war vom Feinsten. Trotz fehlender Reservierung ein Platz bekommen. Toller Service. Die Lokalität ist sehr schön und authentisch. Das Essen ist original Süditalienischen Ursprung. Super Qualität. Gerne wieder.

Mitarbeiter die nicht auf die Kunden hören. Nur weil ich mit einem Amerikanisches Akzent gesprochen habe, hat der Mitarbeiter getan als er kein Deutsch verstanden hat. Sehe niedrigs bildingsniveau Asoziales Verhalten. 1 Stern 🌟 review weil niedrig geht nicht. Ich habe hier schon mal gegessen und den Menu war mittmässig.

Friendly service and, most of all, authentic Italian cuisine! The pinsa has a thick but soft crust and the ingredients are fresh and first-quality! The espresso coffee is the same as you would drink in Italy.
